Ruby, who was wearing one of Hope's sweaters and blue denim jeans, entered the kitchen, finding a saddened Josie. She walked over to her friend and embraced her. "Are you okay Jo?" The werewolf asked as Josie hugged the Waithe back. "I miss Penelope..." She confessed sadly. The pair stayed in an embrace for a while, as Josie seemed to need the comfort.

Suddenly, the Montgomery siblings entered the kitchen as Monica ran straight into the door. Jordan snorted in amusement, while Monica groaner. Ruby and Josie turned to see them, and laughed.

"I didn't get any sleep last night.." Monica justified why she had ran into the door. After her chat with Jordan, she still couldn't sleep. "We have come to get coffee." Jordan exclaimed as Monica then has a pleased look on her face. "Ah yes, the sweet, sweet bean juice."

Josie blinked in surprise, "Is Monica okay?" She asked as Jordan turned to Josie and Ruby. "I think she is broken." He confessed as they laughed.

Moments later, Monica poured coffee into a mug, from the coffee pot. Keeping the mug aside she just openee her mouth and poured the beverage from the pot into her mouth. "Oh my god— Mon." Ruby blurted out before she laughed hysterically. Jordan took his mug which Monica had prepared for him before he watched his sister with concern.

Monica placed the empty coffee pot on the counter, with a satisfied smile on her lips. "Much better." She declared, before she turned on her heels and walked out of the kitchen.

Josie hugged Ruby's arm, before letting go of her friend. "I'm gonna go for a walk.. I'll see you later?" Ruby nodded, "Yeah of course, see you later Jo."

Ruby and Jordan were alone.

The pinkette turned to leave, hoping to find her girlfriend, but Jordan spoke up, as an attempt to stop her. "Ruby." The werewolf span around nervously to face him.

"I'm sorry for trying to kill you." He apologised as Ruby smiled back guiltily in response, "...Why are you apologising? Titus was your father after all." The Waithe replied as Jordan shrugged, "It turns out I didn't know him well at all."

The witch held out his hands, "Can we start over?" He asked. Ruby nodded before she smiled. Usually she was a hugger, but she decided not to push the boundaries, and instead shake Jordan's hand. "Of course."

Lizzie stood at the entrance of the Salvatore school, looking out at the stormy weather. "Oh my god this weather is terrible!" She huffed at no one in particular, as Monica strutted by, stopping as she saw the Saltzman. Lizzie heard the clicking of heels coming to a stop, and turned to face the taller blonde.

"Monica." She said though before anything else could be said, Monica stepped forward and cupped Lizzie's face with her hands, before colliding her lips with hers. Lizzie was taken by surprise, but kissed back.

After a moment they broke apart as Monica still held onto the siphoner's face. "I want to be your girlfriend." She decided, as Lizzie's face softened, before she smiled brightly. "Really? What changed your mind?" She asked Monica shrugged, "I guess I just realised that after everything I have been through... I shouldn't be afraid of this." She admitted as Lizzie smiled again, before they shared another kiss.

What they didn't hear, was footsteps approaching them. "Oh—" A voice blurted, as the vampire and the witch broke apart as they turned around to see Ruby, Hope, Josie, Jordan and Rafael standing before them. Lizzie blushed, "I didn't realise we had an audience."

"We're going to play some board games... since the weather is so shitty. Do you two want to join in?" Ruby asked. Lizzie and Monica glanced at eachother, and shrugged before they turned back to the group. "Sure."

The group sat on the lounge chairs, after playing multiple different games.

Hope had won twister, because she could twist her bones in all sorts of weird ways since she was used to it after transitioning so many times.

There wasn't a winner for uno, the game ended with Lizzie making the cards fly everywhere with magic, because everyone was piling on +2 cards and she was having to pick up 24 cards.

The group didn't dare to even attempt to play monopoly.

"I forgot to ask, where's the hobbit?" Lizzie asked as Monica leant on her shoulder, falling asleep. Ruby and Rafael looked to eachother before they turned back to the siphoner. "I told him that Hope and I are together and he got upset with me... so now he kind of wants a day alone." Ruby explained, feeling a little guilty. "It wasn't just that, Ru." Rafael admitted, catching her attention. "You also told Landon that you guys slept together."

Josie and Lizzie looked at Ruby in surprise, as Hope grew embarrassed. "You two had sex?!" Lizzie asked loudly, which caused Monica to snap awake. Witnessing his sister flinch at the Saltzman's suddenly loud voice made Jordan laugh.

Yeah... What about it?" Ruby asked, not seeing how it was such a big deal. It wasn't anyone elses business. She hadn't planned to tell Landon but it kind of slipped.

"It's just... you guys haven't been together all that long." Josie said, as Rafael nodded. Ruby deadpanned her twin, "Tell me Rafi, how long were you and Cassie together before you two—" She was cut off as the other Waithe spoke up. "Okay, okay. Good point."

"Personally I don't think it matters... nor is it anyone's business on how quickly into the relationship they had done it." Jordan declared. "Thank you!" Hope said, sick of the spotlight being on her and Ruby.

"You know Jordy, we don't know all that much about you." Lizzie spoke up. "Honestly... I don't think I know much about many people in this group." Josie added. "What do you mean? I've told you a lot of things." Ruby blurted out, offended. "Well I know next to nothing about Hope, Monica and Raf." Josie admitted.

"I have an idea." Monica suggested. "Why don't we play a drinking game?" She added as Rafael deadpanned the girl, "It is 2pm." He reminded her, though Monica shrugged. "Oh well, it's beer o'clock somewhere!" The vampire responded.

"What do you suggest, Mon?" Ruby asked, as she seemed pretty eager for this. "We could play never have I ever. I have a few shot glasses and Ric has plenty of alcohol." She added. "I like it." Lizzie replied.

Moments later a bottle of unopened bourbon sat on the table, as well as seven empty shot glasses. Lizzie poured the bourbon into each glass before she asks, "Alright, who would like to start us off?"

"Actually I'd love to start by knowing the rules." Rafael declared as Ruby nodded sheepishly. "The first player starts by saying a simple statement about what they have never done before starting with Never have I ever." Josie began to explain, catching everyones attention. "Anyone who at some point in their life has done the action that the first player says, must drink." Lizzie added. "Then the game continues around the circle, and the next person makes a statement." Josie concluded.

Everyone nodded in understanding. "To make it more fun, can we add explanations? I would love to hear some stories." Ruby grinned as Monica smirked at her best friend, "I like that idea." She agreed. "Yeah that's cool." Josie replied.

"Who would like to begin?"

"Never have I ever.. gotten suspended from school?" Josie began, as Ruby and Rafael shared an amused expression before they both took a shot. Hope smirked at her girlfriend, "Oh god.. what did you guys do?" She asked.

"Someone was bullying Landon pretty badly... so we took this bully's belongings from their locker and made a bonfire with them... on school grounds.." Ruby explained. Hope and Jordan tried to hold back laughs, as Josie and Lizzie looked surprised. Monica was proud, as she held her hand out to Ruby in a balled fist as the pair fist bumped.

"We got in a lot of trouble for that.." Rafael confessed, as Hopes noticed Ruby pull the sweater sleeve down over her arms, seeming like she was hiding something. Hope's face then fell, when she realised the twins weren't talking about getting in trouble by the school but their foster parents, and Ruby must of been hiding some sort of scars.

"Never have I ever... been in love?" Lizzie shrugged, as Rafael, Ruby, Josie and Jordan all took a shot. "Okay... spill, guys." Monica demanded with curiosity. "I fell in love with Cassie." Rafael and Ruby both blurted out, in unison as everyone laughed. "She chose Rafi." Ruby confessed as Monica bit her lip, trying to hold back a laugh. "That's rough buddy." The Montgomery giggled.

Everyone then looked to Josie, whose shoulders slumped. "I was in love with Penelope." She confessed, as Lizzie scrunched up her face in disgust. Ruby gave Josie a sympathetic look.

The eyes then darted to Jordan who sighed. "I was in love with a guy named Tate. We were together for three years.. but more recently he became... jealous... of the time I was spending with my coven members that lived in Phoenix, which was most of them." Jordan explained. "Tate made me choose between him or the coven, and I... didn't choose him."

It was clear that Jordan was still quite hurt by this, as he looked upset. Monica's face fell, feeling guilty for her brother. "I'm sorry.." Ruby blurted, as Jordan looked to her. "I can say the same to you, too." He chuckled, trying to lighten the mood.

"Never have I ever... revealed my true identity to  humans?" Hope decided, before Jordan, Monica, Hope and Rafael took a shot. Everyone looked to Rafael who shrugged. "I used my super strength in public to get money." He admitted as Ruby snorted in amusement, remembering that well... and how tasty the burgers were that they had bought with the money.

Eyes then dashed to Hope, who said "I destroyed a bar with my magic, in front of my Mum's ex boyfriend." She admitted, referring to Declan. "Wow.." Monica laughed in surprise. The attention then turned to her. "I nearly fed from a human without compelling them." Monica declared, as Josie gave her a concerned look. "Why the judgy look, pouty?" The vampire huffed at the ravenette.

"Someone was bullying my boyfriend so I used my magic to make him extra clumsy for the day so he would pretty much beat himself up. My best friend asked me why the bully was hurting them self so much and I nearly outed myself by telling her that it was all my doing." He said. "Pure evil— I like it." Monica grinned at her brother.

"Never have I ever... had a crazy family member try to kill me?" Ruby suggested as herself, Rafael, Hope, Lizzie, Josie and Monica all took a shot. Slamming their shot glasses down, Monica started. "My Dad has tried to kill me on multiple occasions, the worst being sending me to a vampire testing facility and the more recent one was him trying to shoot me until I bled out." She admitted.

Josie and Lizzie looked to eachother before they said in unison, "Our Uncle Kai killed our biological Mum trying to kill us." Ruby's eyes widened in surprise before she looked to Rafael. "Rafi and I have been chased around with knives a few times by foster parents." She said as Rafael nodded, "Yeah they were... not good times."

Everyone then looked to Hope, who shrugged, "How much time do you guys have? Because I have a lot of occasions I can talk about." She explained as everyone either looked concerned or awkwardly laughed. "You know what... I think that we're going to need something a lot stronger.." Lizzie admitted, getting to her feet to leave for Alaric's office, to find more alcohol.

While the group were getting to know eachother by sharing some horror stories from their lives... little did they know, that Landon was in trouble.
