I went to the club only to get my last six hundred paycheck for dealing with these assholes. I can say, I won't miss it. Roy was a good boss but city Jaguars is something I really won't miss.

Dawn cried as she hugged me tightly, "I know I was cold to you in the beginning but I wish you wouldn't leave."

I rubbed her back, "I know, I know but it's for the best. I'll keep in contact" I pulled away and pat her stomach, "Keep this cub safe. You should think about leaving to soon, the city no place if you want them to have a good life."

She nodded, "I know, I am. I stopped my crazed shopping and saving up. Hopefully when I get enough I'll quickly leave this city."

I smiled, "Good. Call me if you ever need a place to go."

She smiled and hugged me again, "I defiantly will. Goodluck wherever you're going."

When I left the back of the bar into the mess of party goers I grabbed my jacket and threw it on. Feeling eyes on me, I turn my head to see Neve looking at me. I looked away as I walked out of the building. I put my bag around my neck and started to make my way home. Rian leaves the hospital tomorrow which I was happy about. He's gonna go to the school office and do some stuff he needs to leaves school. We'll look for a cheap car and leave. We were thinking maybe somewhere in Arizona, a place I haven't been before. I always wanted to see The Grand Canyon. Rian was thinking Colorado but my family been there already and allot of Jaguar resides there because of the outdoors.

I felt someone behind. I smelt Neve strong perfume and I tossed my head back with a groan, "Neve, leave me alone."

"Where's your pretty human boy?" she asked. "I can see why you like him. Those green eyes, handsome face. What's his name, he looks interesting."

"Look, I'm not becoming your sister in law. I'm leaving soon." I turned my head around to look at her. "You can tell Vasco that, so he can stop with his tantrums."

She chuckled as I turned my head back around, "Oh thank the Gods! I couldn't stand you being in our family." she said as got cold. "But this isn't about Vasco. All the Jaguar having some thing for you. You walk around with your head held up as if you're the shit." she said, making me groan with annoyance. Common female Jaguars problems. All of them fighting with each other for the male attention. "I wonder how the others would react if they knew you were fucking with a human."

"It's none of their business." I said.

She grabbed me by my shoulder and pushed me into an alley. I glared at her as I faced her. Almost drunk, her eyes burnt reddish-yellow, "You know how dumb you are? Bringing a human into this world. They're are food. How could you be blessed with such a gift when you hate what you are!"

My eyes turned silver, "I didn't say I hate myself. I just hate bratty Jaguar bitches like yourself. You city Jaguar have no self control!"

She grinned but still looked annoyed, "Rather be who I am then tamed. Everyone only wants to be your friend because of those eyes!" she coldly said. She pushed me back further and I growled. She brought her hand up to herself, "I'm the beautiful Neve, I help my brother run this place. I'm a strong Jaguar, it should have been me who was blessed! I have the same genes in my family!"

"Well thank God you didn't!" I said. "You're one crazy bitch."

She growled at me, attacking me. She slammed me against the wall and I growled at her. We both growled at each other, making threatful noises. Neve is the last person I wanted to fight with. She's just a spoiled brat who thinks she deserves everything on a silver platter.

"Leave me alone." I coldly told her. "I'm leaving Neve, this is pointless. You won't win against me."

"No." she said. "You know what happened to my last guy? I had to break up with his ass and have him beat because be was talking about you with his friends. He said you were hotter than me." she said, looking hurt but it turned to anger. "You would be much more special than me. Only because of you being what you are! I'm tired of you Silver Jaguars!" she yelled. She punched me in the stomach and I cried out. My hands balled in tight fist, trying to control my anger. She grabbed my by my hair and threw me down onto the ground with a grunt, "Maybe if I kill you, that'll please Vasco. He'll give more territory options since he doesn't want you as a wife anymore."

She reached out to grab my neck. I grabbed her wrist as I growled. She breathed out heavily, trying to pull away. I quickly stood up, twisted her arm behind her back, and went behind her. My canine lengthen before my sharp as glass teeth pierced her skin her neck. She cried out in pain as I bite into her neck with no self control. That inner Jaguar in me took over, Neve's threats pushing me over. I growled as I bit further into her neck as her mouth poured into my throat.

She cried in pain and fear, trying to break free. I bit firmly on her neck with a chomp before pulling. It was easier than I expected liking pulling the skin off chicken. I ripped out her neck, blood spurring blood. She stopped crying as I pulled away. She brought her hand up to her throat as she turned to look at me suprise. She stumbled back a few steps and I stepped towards her as I opened my mouth. Her eyes rolled back as she fell down. Feeling any kind of attack from her was gone so my control was back. My eyes widen as I took down at her. Her chest slowly stopped rises and blood rushed from her tore throat. Her hands were limp, no movement happening from her soon.

My hands came up to my mouth as I cried out in fear at what I done. I killed her....

I killed Neve....

I never killed a Jaguar or human before. I have killed animals before and that was hard. I didn't need to kill Jaguars and humans though to survive. I lived in the same worlds as them. I would never resort to eating my own kind.

And Vasco gonna be so pissed. Panicking, I grabbed Neve dead body. I placed her on the side of a dumpster where no one can see. I'm more than sure though someone gonna find her in a couple of hours. Even minutes so I dashed away.

I ran into the hospital and quickly went over to the elevator. I went up to the fifth floor where Rian was. When the doors open, I rushed out.

"Visitors hours are over ma'am!" the nurse behind a counter yelled at me but I ignored her as I went over to Rian room.

I opened his door. He was sleeping on the bed until I barged in. He looked at me suprise as he sat up, "Thalia, it's the middle of the night."

I went over and set my bag down. I pulled some clothes out I brought from his apartment. "We need to go, we need to go now." I said as I gave him his gray long sleeve shirt, jeans, socks, and shoes.

"What--Thalia." he grabbed my arm and I looked up at him. "What's the matter?"

"I did something really terrible. I-I-I didn't mean to. She started it, she threatened me and I lost control. I killed her, Vasco sister. She was gonna kill me so taking that as a final threat, I killed her. Now, we hit that mark of being in deep shit." I told him. I pulled the blanket off him and he sat on the edge as he slipped the hospital gown off, "You need to get dress so we can leave."

He threw the shirt on, "Jeez, how could all this happen in one week?"

I scoffed, "Now I know how my dad felt everytime we got in trouble. Rushed. The night we left for Harmony, my parents were fighting about my brother Kavan. My dad ran out into the woods as a Jaguar and killed a man because of his Jaguar instincts. When he came back, we left that night. You don't know how many times we escaped into the night. Jeez, it's never ending."

Rian pulled on his jeans, "Look, it was accident. How many times have your kind killed each other in fights? You said they happen--"

"This is Vasco sisters though, he'll try to kill me as revenge. Or you." I told him. "By now, he should have found out. We need to go back to my apartment, warn Aunt Hala, and just go." I brought my hands up to his face as he stared down at me, "We need to leave the city. We'll go back to Harmony, I'll handle Peter, and just lay low. Or we'll go somewhere else. Okay?"

He nodded, "Yes?" He kissed me hard on the mouth and I just wanted to stay in the hospital right there forever. A moment of peace it seemed like but it was only wasting time.

I broke the kiss and grabbed my bag, "We need to go." I said as I grabbed my bag. We stepped out into the hallway. The elevator doors open and we looked at them to see two Jaguars walking in with cold looks on their faces.

"Shit." we both breathed out before turning the other way and ran. Rian pressed against the left side of his waist, groaning in pain. I felt them quickly gaining on us.

I turned turned the hallway. I saw a cart with allot of stuff on it. I pressed Rian against the wall and grabbed the metal tray. Going to the side of the wall, when I saw the first Jaguar I smacked him roughly in the face with the face and brought my foot out to make him fall. The other Jaguar threw his fist out but I grabbed his wrist and brought my other fist out to his face. I brought my knees up to his groin and he hunched over in pain. I punched him across the face against, making him fall down.

It took allot of running out of the hospital and jumping into a cab to get away from the two Jaguars. We made it back to Brooklyn and I gave the cab the money when he drove up to my apartment building. We both got out the car and I kept aware of the air inside the apartment building as I walked in. Still smelled like dust. We went inside the elevtor and I sighed, "We'll go to the bus station and hopefully they'll have a bus leaving for Wisconsin soon."

He nodded, "Yeah. I'll call my dad when we get on the bus. It's gonna be alright."

I looked up at him frowning, "Not tired of this bullshit yet?"

He looked at me, "No." he said. The doors open and we quickly rush over to my apartment. The door was brust open as I stood in front of it. My heart raced as I stepped inside. Little Shadow ran out of my room and jumped into my arms shaking.

I held him close to me, "Aunt Hala?" I called out. "Aunt Hala!" I ran over to her room where everything was a mess. I checked the bathroom and even my room but it was all empty. Shaking, I walked into the living room. "They-they got to her."

"You don't know that, Thalia." Rian said.

"Of course I do!" I yelled at him. "For all I know, they got Kavan and on their way to my parents! Screw everything up for what? My family in danger again because of me."

"It's not your fault." he said. "It's this sick world! Jaguars guys thinking they have the rights to own you. Your parents tried to force you into a marriage. It's not your fault you want freedom."

I brought my hand across my nose, "The cost for that freedom dangerous though. Oh God, I wouldn't even know where to begin to look for them. He could have killed Aunt Hala by now! I should have just listened to her before and go to my parents. None of this would have happened." I said as I sat down on the couch staring off at the ground feeling numb. It's all my fault. Little Shadow leaned up to my shoulder and nuzzled his head against mine.

Rian walked over and sat down next to me. He took me in his arms but I couldn't feel comfort right now. Only emptiness.

My cellphone buzzed in my pocket. I jerked out of suprise since I hadn't expected it. Rian pulled away as I reached in my pocket and saw an unfamiliar number. Staring at the phone for a moment, I had a small feeling who it could be.

I set Little Shadow down as I stood up as I answered it, "Hello?"

It was quiet on the other side for a moment, "You killed my sister?" Vasco breathed out.

I huffed out my nose heavily, "She threanted me, it was an accident. She was gonna kill me so I lost control. Where's my aunt?"

He took a deep breath, "Drive to Blackstone Forest."

"Is she alive?" I coldly asked. He didnt answer which made me impatient, "Vasco! Vasco! Answer me god damn it you of a bit--" he hung up on me and I screamed out in frusteration. "Bastard!"
