Rescue Mission
"Test fifty six: electrocution, commencing in three, two, one, now. "
Seàn cringed as bolts of blue electricity arced through the prison and across Mark's body, Dark silently taking the pain from where he was sitting in the middle of his prison.
Mark's body was covered with scars, cuts, bruises, and burns, Seân unsure if Mark was able to feel any of them with Dark controlling him.
"Dark's been controlling Mark for weeks, and we still haven't found anything to get him out." Tyler huffed in frustration as he shut off the electricity, Dark's blood red eyes boring into his.
"I will avenge Anti and do what I have to by myself if it's necessary." Dark stated calmly as he shut his eyes.
"Loud high pitched sound and fire failed, and those are the main weaknesses of symbiotes." Robin murmured thoughtfully as he placed a hand on the wall of Dark's prison, his torso still wrapped in bandages to keep him from breaking more ribs.
"I will admit that Mark is fighting quite hard to escape me. At least he's persistent." Dark admitted.
"Don't you care about humans at least a little bit?" Seàn questioned, Tyler setting up another test.
"Not if they keep me from what I want." Dark countered coldly, his gaze filled with anger.
"And you want to kill all humans." Felix interjected, Dark shooting to his feet and slamming a fist against the wall where Robin's hand was resting.
"I just want to go home with my people! I came here on a Life Foundation rocket to get Anti after he and many others disappeared. Now he's dying alone and I can't do shit!" Dark yelled, letting his hand fall to his side with a sigh as he stormed away from Seàn, Felix, Robin, and Tyler.
"Like we actually believe that." Felix scoffed disdainfully.
"If Anti goes much longer without a host, he will die. Just let me save him and leave." Dark pleaded softly as he fell to his knees on the floor.
"Like you won't try to kill us and take over the world or anything." Seán replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Why don't we make a deal. You help me rescue all other symbiotes trapped in the Life Foundation, then I will return Mark and leave for good." Dark offered.
"And we should trust you why?" Robin spoke up, eying the symbiote warily.
"Do you really have any other choice to get Mark back?" Dark shot back with a sneer.
"We'll keep torturing you for months if we have to, but there's no way in hell that we'll help you." Felix snarled fiercely.
"Then I'll stop taking the brunt of the pain and let him die." Dark countered tauntingly, folding his arms across his chest.
"Then we won't continue the tests and just let you rot in there." Tyler decided.
"I'll find a way to escape. You can't keep me trapped here forever." Dark argued, slamming his fists against the wall.
A spiderweb of cracks appeared around them, his blood red eyes gleaming with triumph as the four exchanged worried looks.
"Okay fine! But as soon as we get all of the symbiotes, we get Mark back." Seán snapped, the symbiote lowering his fists and looking at Seán.
"Then we have a deal." Dark declared, stepping away from the wall as Tyler hesitantly opened the door.
"Now give me Anti." Dark commanded the heroes as he stepped out of his prison, Robin handing him the jar Anti was locked in.
"Hello old friend...I'll fix this, I promise." Dark whispered, opening Anti's prison.
"Wait st-"
Seán broke off with wide eyes as Anti slipped back into his body, instantly taking control of the Irishman.
"Hello Dark, long time no see you asshat." Anti smirked, lightly punching him in the arm.
"That wasn't part of the deal!" Robin snapped angrily.
"I am aware. Pray that I don't alter it any further." Dark growled at the heroes before returning his attention to Anti.
"Ah Anti, you have no idea how good it is to see a friendly face after so long." Dark confessed with a sigh.
"C'mon, lets just go get the rest of your fuck face friends out of the foundation so you get out of here sooner." Felix interrupted angrily as he stormed towards the door.
"Here goes nothing." Tyler muttered as he followed after Felix with Robin at his side, the two symbiotes pausing by the door.
"They've really done a number on you." Anti remarked lightly, delicately tracing his finger across a scar that had been made by the electricity on his chin.
"Once we get home, we'll be safe from any more experiments and be with friends once again." Dark promised, striding off after the others.
"For you maybe." Anti grumbled under his breath as he ran after Dark.
