"What do you want to do now?" You asked Loki as the three of you walked out of the restaurant. It was his day out after all, it only made sense for him to choose.

"Anything that dose not require me to get back on your flying reptile." Loki told you dryly. Eyeing Eclipse warily as he said it.

"I thought you said you wanted to learn about dragons?" You asked Loki, placing a hand over your heart in mocked hurt.

"I did." Loki agreed with you. "However I would prefer to lean about them with both of my feet planted firmly on solid ground. I do not understand how you stay on your creature's back while he dose acrobatics in mid air."

You just laughed at Loki. "It is my one talent I must admit."

Loki just chuckled and rolled his eyes at you. You could be quite a handful when you wanted to be. Or if you just felt like it. Or if you didn't feel like it. Ok, so maybe you were just a handful constantly.

"Seriously Loki, what do you want to do?" You asked him getting back to the issue at hand. You really hoped this wasn't going to turn into 'I don't know what do you want to do? I don't know what do you want to do?' You didn't think you could handle that.

"Your the human here." Loki told you matter of factly. "You should know what is fun to do on this planet."

"You're no help." You grumbled at Loki as he just laughed at you. You thought for a moment trying to think what would be fun for Loki to do. "You like to play pranks on your brother." You informed Loki, though you were mostly just talking to yourself. "But he's off on a mission. You like to read, but you've been doing that all week. You like sweets, but we just ate." You groaned as you thought over your options. "How do you feel about hikes?"

*

Loki did not like hikes. You found that out when he was asking how much further until the three of you reached your destination. To his credit you didn't care much for hikes either, but you loved this place you found when you were here with Eclipse.

"You didn't want to fly there." You pointed out as you led your group further into the forest.

"Yes," Loki agreed with you, "but I also didn't want to hike there." He grumbled as he walked behind you.

About ten minutes latter you reached your destination. It was a beautiful lake with a massive waterfall. You could climb up onto the rocks and jump off into the water. The trees came right up to the water. There was also a swing someone put up so you could swing and jump off into the water. There was one section that was a little clearing of nice soft green grass and flowers. The perfect seating aria.

"I thought we could have some summer time fun before the weather remembered that it is almost fall." You told Loki a little shyly. This was your idea of a fun day and you could only hope he thought it was fun too.

Loki looked over the scenery and you could see him relax. "This is beautiful." Loki told you looking up at the massive waterfall. "Me and Thor used to go to places like this when we were children." Loki told you with a bit of nostalgia as he walked to the edge of the lake. He didn't see you fallow him or bend down and put your hand into the water until it was to late.

You smacked the water and splashed Loki,  darting away from the now wet god. Loki sputtered, not expecting you to do that before he turned on his heal to face you.

"You will regret that little mortal." Loki told you with a snarl in his words. But you could tell from his smile and glint of mischief in his eyes he wasn't really upset with you. You just started a game you had no hope of winning.

Loki rushed you and you darted away running over to Eclipse who had decided to take a nap in the sun. "Help me!" You giggled at your dragon as Loki chased you. He stopped when you got to Eclipse, not sure how the dragon would take to him chasing you.

Eclipse looked up at you, unfazed by your behavior, before closing his eyes again, effectively ignoring you.

"Looks like your dragon has left you to the mercy of a god little one." Loki told you as he rushed you again. He grabbed you by your waist, preventing you from getting away from him.

"No!" You giggled as Loki picked you up in his arms taking you over to the lake. "Wait Loki I have...!" Loki didn't even wait for you to finish before throwing you into the water.

You swam up the the surface to find Loki laughing by the edge of the lake. "Axes." You grumbled at him. "I have axes."

"You have what?!" Loki asked you in surprise. You swam to the edge of the lake pulling yourself up on solid ground. The cloths you were waring, that consisted of jean shorts and a soft t-shirt were completely drenched. You could easily see your undergarments through the wet fabric of your shirt. Your sports bra and some kind of weapon holder thing that went around your torso. You reached to the small of your back pulling out two gnarly looking throwing axes that had been sheathed there under your shirt.

"You had those the whole time!?" Loki asked you surprised.

"We were attacked yesterday." You told him with a smile. "How do you expect me to go around with no protection?"

"I would think the dragon is protection enough." Loki shrugged as he studied your gnarly looking axes. "I also would think of you as more of a sword or dagger type of person. Not axe."

"I'm surprising good with axes." You told Loki as you handed one over for him to look at.

"You will have to show me some time." Loki told you when he was done looking over your axe. He gave it back to you and you stood up with your weapons in hand.

"Let me go put these next Eclipse." You told him before jogging off to do just that. You took off your axe sheath and placed them by Eclipse, who was still happy just lounging in the sun.

You then ran over to Loki and pushed him into the lake when you got close. You laughed at him before he pulled you back into the lake. You came up spluttering but splashed him in the face at the same time.

*

You and Loki had a lot of fun at the lake. Climbing up rocks to jump off of. Swinging on the swing. And having water wars were the two of you just ran around splashing each other. Eclipse on the other hand had a great day of napping. He didn't like the water.

"We should probably be heading back." You told Loki looking up at the ever darkening sky. "The team will be back soon."

Loki sighed, not wanting to go back to the tower full for judgmental team mates, but relented.

The two of you flew back on Eclipse. You shivered from the cold night air as you flew over the city. Your drenched clothes not making the flight back any more enjoyable. Loki on the other hand seemed to not mind the cold in the least. You wondered if he even felt the cold.

Eclipse landed on the balcony the warm glow of the lights from the tower made the tower feel homey and welcoming. You and Loki dismounted Eclipse.

"Th-thanks f-for t-t-the fun d-day Loki." You told him as you shook from the cold wind, your teeth unable to stop chattering.

"It was most enjoyable." Loki agreed warmly, "but you should go inside little one." Loki told you concerned as you continued to shake. "Your kind is not made to handle the cold."

"H-h-how are y-you n-not f-f-freezing?" You asked Loki. Because that was what was important right now.

Loki looked at you shocked that you would asked that question right now. To his credit you really shouldn't have been that concerned over how he was not cold while you were getting hyperthermia.

"My..." Loki paused as if he was thinking of the right word to say. "Biological? Parents were Jotuns. Frost giants from Jotunheim. The cold doesn't bother me like it dose you mortals." Loki told you his voice gentle and... kind? That was new. That's when you realized he had been kind to you all day.

I-I'm n-n-not mor-mortal." You told Loki still sopping wet as you shivered in the cold.

Loki gave you a confused look and opened his mouth to asked you what you meant but changed his mind on the last second. "You can tell me all about that small detail when you are warm again." Loki told you as he herded you inside the warm tower.

You aloud him to herd you, for you were cold. Eclipse fallowed. He seemed to like Loki and trusted that he wouldn't hurt you. That was new for Eclipse.

Eclipse was gentle and kind, but he was also extremely overprotective of you. All day Eclipse had been trusting Loki to keep you safe and more importantly entertained. You had a tendency to get a little reckless when you got bored. Finding fun in danger, Eclipse never liked to leave you alone for very long. But he trusted Loki to look out for you.

"There you are!" Came a loud and relived voice form the living room.

You looked in the direction of the voice to find the whole team there. They all looked worried. Tony was on some computer hologram thing while the team was standing around him looking for something. Cap was the first to come up to you and Loki.

"We were all so worried about you." He told you, and though he tried to scold you you could hear the relief in his voice. "When we came back and found you both gone we assumed the worst had happened."

"Not to mention the device I put on reindeer games went offline yesterday." Tony butted in from where he was sitting. "You wouldn't know how that happened? Would you (y/n)?"

You shrugged. Or at least tried to. It was hard when your whole body continued to shake like a leaf from the coldness of your wet cloths. "W-we w-w-were attacked. L-Loki helped fight th-them off." You told them simply. "I-I don't see w-what all t-the fuss is a-about."

"Why are you all wet?" Cap asked you, finally taking in your shivering appearance. You sighed. All you wanted to do was get warm and the team was making that extremely difficult for you to accomplish.

"Lady (y/n) was kind enough to take me out of the tower today." Loki told the team, his voice regal, his expression emotionless. "We had quite an enjoyable time at a small lake."

"Loki isn't allowed out of the tower." Tony told you with a glare coming to you . "You know that."

"L-Loki d-d-dose not d-deserve to be l-lock away l-like some w-wild a-animal." You told Tony sternly, though your chattering teeth made it difficult to get your point across. You didn't go around picking fights too often. Especially not with one of the members of the team. But you would defend Loki. He didn't deserve the treatment he was getting. He did nothing but be your friend for the last two days. He could be trusted if he was given the chance.

"He's dangerous (y/n)." Tony told you just as sternly, without his teeth chattering. "He can't be trusted."

"T-to b-bad." You told Tony. "I a-already t-trust h-him. A-and I've d-d-decided t-that h-he is m-my f-fiend."

"He's going to have to put the device back on kid." He told you having had enough of your teenager attitude. Unfortunately for Tony you weren't just any teenager. No. You were a dragon rider teenager. Those were the most stubborn type of teenagers.

"I w-won't l-let you." Your told Tony just as firmly.

"Let's talk about this in the morning." Cap intervened, stepping between you and Tony before either one of you started throwing punches. "We are all tired and cold. We can talk more about this when we are all in a better mood. For now Loki is free to walk around the tower without having to have his powers limited." Tony tried to object, but Cap cut him off. "We will talk about this more in the morning." Cap repeated again in his team leader voice, leaving no room for anyone to argue.

The team all grudgingly agreed before splitting up, going up to bed. Thor was the only one who seemed excited about Loki having his full power back. But that was to be expected.

You thanked Cap before you grabbed Loki's arm, leading him to the elevator.

"Thank you." Loki told you, the words sounding hard for him to say. "For standing up for me back there."

"Y-you are m-my f-f-friend." You told Loki as you shook, trying to give him a restring smile. You were pretty sure you failed miserably at looking assuring. "W-What was I s-supposed to d-do?"

Loki gave you a smile. A true smile. And with a warm glow of green magic a warm, heated, green fluffy towel appeared in his hands. He placed the warm towel over your shoulders and you immediately melted with relief. The warm towel felt so good on your cold skin. You wrapped the towel around yourself, finally stopped shaking.

"Thank you." You told Loki with a smile, your cheeks blushing a slight shade of pink. But you were pretty sure your flushed cheeks were just from the warm towel. Nothing more. No way were you getting a crush on the extremely attractive god.

Nope. That was not going to happen.

"Of course." Loki told you raising his head as if it was something anyone would do.

Loki walked you back to your room. Which just so happened to be across from your room. "I will see you in the morning." Loki told you, taking your right hand from underneath your towel, raising it to his lips. He kissed the back of your hand gently before letting go of it with a smirk.

You blushed more furiously than before. Though Thor often did the same thing to you. It was an old fashioned courtesy. A show of respect towards woman. "Night Loki." You bid him before leaving him in the hallway, embarrassed over your flustered emotions. You heard him chuckle as you left. He knew the effect he had on you.

"What are you looking at?" You asked Eclipse who was giving you a knowing look when you entered your room. He had come up to bed before you and was now smirking at you from his dragon bed.

"Stop it." You told Eclipse, sounding put upon. "Loki is just a friend. And he will always be just a fiend."

Eclipse never lost his smug look. Not believing you in the slightest.

"Your the worst." You informed your dragon. You then went off to enjoy a nice scolding hot shower to warm all the way back up.

No way were you going to catch feelings for Loki.
