"It was nice to see uncle Stephen again," you told Eclipse as the two of you flew over the city of New York, back to the Avenger's Tower. "Even though he was a little different from the last time I saw him."

Eclipse purred in response, acknowledging you.

"A good different." You specified. "It was like... I don't know...He actually cared about me. I mean he even remembered my name. That's never happened before!"

Eclipse roared agreement, making you laugh and roll your eyes.

"You've never met him before bud." You laughed, putting a gentle hand on his head. "But I'm glad you like him." You're laughing stoped when the tower got into view. The lights to the living room were off. Along with the lights to everyone's living quarters. That wasn't unusual, especially since it was late into the night. What was unusual was Eclipse's reaction upon approaching the tower. As the two of you neared the tower Eclipse let out a low, threatening, growl. The one that warned you danger was nearby.

"What is it bud?" You asked, concern etched in your voice. "Is there someone in the tower? Someone who's not supposed to be there?"

Eclipse growled louder at your question, confirming your suspicion. Your mind began to race. Who could be in a tower that had Eclipse all riled up? Hydra was still at large. Could it be them? Could spies from Hydra infiltrate the tower? Then you remembered the look on Cap's face when he got back from the mission a few weeks back. He was annoyed. No, he was beyond annoyed, he was upset. He rarely got upset. He was usually only upset when a mission didn't go as planned. When the bad guy got away, or if there was some kind of moral dilemma eating away at him. And since you didn't think he was going through any sort of personal moral crisis at the moment his bad mood had to be connected to Hydra. Could that be who was in the tower? You didn't know. What you did know was Eclipse was on edge, which made you on edge.

"All right," you told Eclipse. "Time to go stealth mode." And with that you and Eclipse ascended into the night sky, melting into the inky blackness as you approached the tower. As you got nearer you took out your Stark phone from your pocket opening an app that controlled some of the tower's security. Tony installed the app on everyone's phone and taught everyone how to use it. Unlike him, Bruce, and Nat, the rest of the team wasn't necessarily good with computers. Especially when it came to hacking them. Tony installed the app as a pro caution, just in case the tower got hacked by someone. The app allowed the team to shut down some of the towers security. Not all of it, in case something happened to a team member's phone, but some.

You went straight to the roof's camera system, making the last 15 minutes play on a loop to ensure no one in the tower would know when you land.

"Alright," you breathed quietly, "everything is set up. No one will know that we're back. You ready?"

Eclipse let out a small roar of conformation, then he dived down to the roof top, making the landing quick and silent. Both of you wanting to stay out of any source of light.

When you landed you made a quick check on your phone, making sure the cameras where working for you properly. "Perfect." You whispered as you carefully, silently, dismounted Eclipse. "Everything is working as it should."

Eclipse watched as you took your hair band that permanently lived on your wrist and tied your hair up into a fast ponytail. "You wait up here till I give the signal. Then when I call you go down to the main deck and come in through the doors. If the doors are locked blast them open. Tony's a billionaire, he shouldn't care too much about a few broken doors. Or, you know... a blown up wall. And if he dose care I have money, I can pay him back. Or at least my dad can if I don't have enough. Then I can just pay him back later." As you rambled on Eclipse continued to watch you intently. Though he was one of the smartest species of dragon in existence he didn't understand fluent English. So he watched as you rambled waiting for a command he did know. Eclipse fallowed you to the door that led to the stair case, watching as you took off your shoes.

"For stealth." You told Eclipse as you placed both your shoes by the door. "I walk quieter on bare feet." You opened the door, turning back to face Eclipse. "Wait here." You told him clearly. "Wait for my signal."

Eclipse gave you a small roar in understanding.

"Good boy." You smiled before going into the tower, leaving Eclipse behind on the roof top.

In the darkness of the hallway your eyes began to glow purple as you called forth some of your dragon's power, giving you heightened senses. Even though you couldn't see perfectly in the dark you could see slightly better. What really enhanced were your hearing and smell.

Night Furies did have echolocation, making it so they could navigate easily in the darkest of places, but you could never figure out how to use it.

You gently padded your way down a few flights of stairs before finding what you where looking for. "Bingo." You mumbled quietly to yourself, climbing up onto the banister to get to the air vent in the ceiling. You fumbled with the vet for a moment or two, before you just decided to use your fire abilities to melt the screws holing it in place. Once that was done you pulled yourself into the vents, and began army crawling, working your way to the living room.

After a few dead ends, and a few frustrated curse words you finally made your way down to the living room. Peering down form your place in the ceiling you tried to see if anyone was there, sneaking round in the darkness. But you couldn't really see anything, so you concentrated on listening. It took a little bit, but pretty soon you could hear at least ten different sets of heart beats coming from below you.

'They did it.' You thought quietly to yourself. 'Hydra as infiltrated the tower.'

There was no time to waist. You had to take out these agents and make them take you to where they took your team.

With your mind made up you began to silently melt the screws keeping the vent door in place, while also keeping a careful ear on these strangers heart beats. After the screws where melted you carefully guided the vent door down as quietly as you could. These agents didn't know you were here yet, and you wanted to keep it that way for as long as you could.

Looking down through the now open vent you cold faintly see a silhouette of a big muscular man crouching behind the kitchen counter right below you, watching the windows that led out to the balcony. Confirming your suspicion that these people where waiting for you to get back.

'You got this.' You told yourself as your heart began to beat louder in your chest. 'Just remember your training.' And with that you pounced.

Landing directly behind the big muscular man you punched him in the side of the face in one fluid motion. He collapse to the ground with a loud thud and a surprised grunt. Making you almost proud of this little sneak attack of your's.

    Almost.

You did not know how fast this man's reflexes were because a second latter you were thrown over the kitchen countertop by the same man you had just decked in the face. You heard shouts and a few screams from the other people hiding out in the living room, along with a lot of other commotion. But you didn't have time to worry about that because the big man was picking you up by your throat, holding  you up off the floor above his head, your feet dangling a few feet above the ground.

"Demon." The man growled at you ferociously as he studied your glowing purple eyes.

You chocked out, struggled against this man's strength. You grabbed onto his wrist, trying to pull yourself up as much as you could to get some oxygen to your lunges. Struggling to breath as this man choked you, making your heart race faster in fear, but then he yelled out in pain, dropping you to the ground like you were hot.

Looking down at your hands you saw that your veins were glowing a faint shade of purple through your skin, your dragon's fire.

Behind you there was a loud crash of glass braking fallowed by the ear splitting furious roar of your dragon.

More screams of people could be heard throughout the room as people scrambled away from Eclipse.

That wasn't right. Why would Hydra agents be running away in fear instead of fighting?

While you where contemplating this something made of metal slammed into the side of your face, sending you crashing into a near by wall with a loud THUD.

You groaned in pain, as you tried to shake  off the attack. The man charged, swinging the weird metal object at you, but you dodged it this time. The man missed, hitting the wall instead of you. You managed to climb up onto the man's back in the brief moment he was pulling his weapon out of the wall, maneuvering yourself onto the man's shoulders before locking your legs around his neck throwing him to the ground using your body weight. Once the two of you hit the ground you scrambled onto the man, straddling his chest as you wrapped your hands wound his throat, still hot from your dragon's fire flowing through your veins seconds ago.

"Stay down." You snarled at him as he let out a painful yell, grabbing onto your arm where your sleeve covered your skin, not wanting to have any more skin to skin contact with you incase it would burn him more.

Someone in the room managed to hit the lights, blinding you momentarily.

When your eyes adjusted to the light you dropped your powers instantly as the blood drained form your face in shock and horror at what you've just done.

There, laying below you with a black eye and a few good burns was Thor, his sky blue eyes raging  with lightning.

You scrambled off the thunder god's chest, at a loss for words.

"Thor," you said your voice shaking with shock and guilt. "I didn't... I..."

But Thor wasn't taking any of it. Blinded by pain and rage he called upon his power, shocking you with lightning, blasting you away from him.

There were more shouts and screams from the people around you as your back slammed into the wall painfully. But you didn't yell out in pain, no. You were too shocked and what you hadjust done.

"Thor!" Someone else yelled from somewhere in the room. "Stand down."

Judging from the lack of any more pain Thor listened to the command.

Everyone else in the room just stood around in utter shock at what just happened. All of it your fault.

"Um... guys." A fearful voice called out. "A little help here?"

You numbly looked up to see Eclipse corner Nate up against the wall.

Your mouth moved, wanting to call off your dragon, but no sound came out.

"(Y/n)?" A concerned, gentle voice asked from somewhere near you. Crouching down in front of you Loki came into view, his emerald green eyes looking into yours, trying to find... something.

"Love?" Loki tried again, placing a gentle, kind hand on top of your's.

You recoiled from his touch, not wanting to burn another person you cared about. But Loki kept a firm grasp on your hand, rubbing the back of it with his thumb, trying to calm you down.

Tears began to burn your eyes as you looked around the room. 'Happy Birthday' banners hung around the room, along with colorful streamers. Balloons of every color floating around aimlessly, many of them having 'happy birthday' messages on them. Then, at the front of the living room there was a chair surrounded by presents with two balloons tied to it making up the number 18.

The team had thrown a surprise party for you... and you crashed it.
