Training and Blondes
Miyu's pov.
I woke up early this morning. Not intentionally, of course. And Sasuke was still asleep.
I peeked in his room when snuck out of the house. With a sigh of relief, I ran down the stairs of the apartment complex, and down the dirt road to the Hokage heads. Its way to early for anyone to be up. I mean, the sun has just barely set to rise.
My favorite time of morning.
My feet never faltered a single step, even with the weight of my bag hitting the backs of my legs each time I took a step. I quickly ran up the stairs and the used chakra to run up the side of the faces, landing at the top.
"Just in time." I whispered as my eyes fixated on the horizon. The sun just began to really rise, creating beautiful rays of color over the village. It made the village shine, the birds sing, and I could tell that some people were getting ready for the day. "Its so peaceful." I smiled.
With a nice sigh of content, I jumped down from the Hokage faces, slowly making my way back through town. So many people were up and opening their shops. I decided to go to Ichiraku's while I passed by.
"Good morning." I called out as I entered, settling myself on one of the stools.
"Ah, good morning. What can I get you?" Teuchi smiled.
"Miso ramen with extra pork, old man!" I blinked as Naruto called out, running and hopping up on the stool next to me.
"Huh? Naruto?" I asked. I forced down a blush when his blue eyes landed on me.
"Oh hey, Miyu." Naruto grinned. "What are you doing here?"
"Baka, its a ramen shop, why else would I be here." I covered my mouth, suppressing my giggles.
"Oh... right."
"Now, Miyu. What can I get you." Teuchi tried again.
"Same as Naruto." I answered, watching Naruto from the corner of my eye as he devoured his bowl of ramen. It was quiet after that, my ramen was placed in front of me and we ate in utter silence.
When we finished, I payed for my ramen and got up to leave.
"Hey where are you going?" I stopped and glanced at Naruto. He had a genuinely curious look on his face, making him look absolutely adorable.
"Oh... I was going to go visit my parents." I said quietly, lowering my eyes to the ground. I was planning on saying something like, 'I'm going to go train,' but I couldn't. Its like he would see right through me.
"Oh, can I come?" My eyes snapped up, and I blinked, before I nodded. "Let's go. Where are they at?"
"Oh. This way." I grabbed Naruto's hand before he started in the wrong direction. After a few moments neither Naruto, nor I, let go. Just having his hand in mine was comforting.
I lead him to the Uchiha compound, just outside the village. Our personal burial site is behind it, but the only way there is to go through. I tightened my hand around Naruto's and ducked under the yellow tape. They still haven't taken it down.
"What... is this place?" Naruto suddenly asked.
"This is the Uchiha compound. Sasuke and I used to live here when we were younger." I answered simply, trying to suppress the memories of our parents, our aunts, uncles, cousins and brother.
Nii-san.
I shook my head of the thoughts, hurrying through the compound. I'll come back later so I can really see.
I haven't been in awhile.
When we reached the other side of the compound, I sank to my knees in front of the grave stones, bending so that my hands were on the ground and my forehead resting on them, in a bow.
"Mother.... Father." I whispered as I sat up. I spoke like they would answer me.
"Miyu." An arm wrapped around my shoulders, and I leaned into the warmth. Naruto, he comforted me. I've always come here by myself. Sasuke refuses to even come close to this place.. since that day.
And whenever I talk about anyone from the clan, he yells at me. Says things like he'll kill Itachi-nii for what he did. He doesn't understand. No one does.
"Come on." I stood, pulling Naruto with me.
"Are you ok?" I nodded, and looped my arm through Naruto's.
"Thank you, Naruto." I whispered as we left the compound.
"For what?" Naruto glanced down at me as we were walking.
"...for being there..." My voice, again, was barely above a whisper. "It hurts, you know? Sasuke won't even go near that place. But I can't seem to stay away."
"Yeah." Naruto removed his arm from my grasp, turning me around and hugging me tight. "If you wanna go again.. I'll go with you." I buried my face in his collar, my arms wrapped around his waist, and my fingers clutching desperately to his orange jacket.
"You will?" I felt Naruto nod. "Thank you, Naruto." I felt my eyes sting, tears threatening to fall.
"Miyu." I 'hm'd' in response. "I'm sorry, about what I said." I pulled back, my eyes roaming Naruto face.
"What you said?" Naruto frowned.
"Yeah. When we spoke to Haku." Realization dawned on me. "I'm sorry."
"Its okay." I smiled a little and wiped at my eyes. Naruto suddenly leaned in and kissed my forehead, his fingers brushing my bangs to the side. My face flushed and I couldn't help it this time. "Wh-What was that for?!" I squeaked out.
"Hm? Oh nothing." Naruto grinned. "I'm gonna go train for awhile. I'll see you later, 'kay?"I nodded and turned beat red when a quick kiss was pressed to my cheek. Naruto laughed and started off toward the training grounds.
"He's so weird." I whispered, smiling.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure its official. I like Naruto.
**************
"Sensei, your actually on time for once." I gasped, covering my mouth as I showed my surprise.
"Really? I'm not always late." I scoffed. "Ok, Ok, so let's go tot training ground 2." Sensei placed a hand on my shoulder and poofed us to a large rocky area.
"Wow. Cool." I said bluntly.
"Alright, so where do you want to start?" Sensei asked, leaning his weight on his right leg.
"I was hoping you could help me learn more Ninjutsu." I glanced up at sensei. He seemed to be thinking for a minute before he pulled out some small papers. "Hey aren't those chakra papers?"
"Mhm. We're going to see what your nature is." He handed me one. "Concentrate your chakra into the paper."
"If it crumbles its earth. Soaks its water, cuts in half its wind, burns its fire, or crumples it lightning, right?" Sensei seemed a bit surprised. "I wasn't allowed to train until I was 7 so I read scrolls."
"Oh. Alright." I closed my eyes and concentrated my chakra into the paper. It crumpled. I opened my eyes. "You have lightning style like me."
"Ok..." I pursed my lips.
"I think were going to start with the Chidori." I stared up at sensei with wide eyes.
"Your going to teach me Chidori?" He nodded.
"Now. I want you to take some chakra into your right hand. Visualize it." Sensei demonstrated, his chakra just sitting there like a small blue flame.
I held out my right hand and concentrated my chakra. But mine turned out to be purple. "Is that normal?" I asked, staring at the purple orb, my head tilted in curiosity.
"Hm." I looked up at Kakashi-sensei."I'm not sure."
"Oh." I pursed my lips, my eyes traveling back down to the purple orb of chakra.
"Alright. I'll ask Lord Hokage later. Now were going to focus on the change in chakra nature, since. you already have the change in form down."
"How do I change the chakra nature? Do I visualize it?" I frowned.
"Sort of. Feel the electricity of the lightning run through you." I closed my eyes. "It might help with the sharingan."
Channeling chakra to my eyes, I activated my sharingan. I visualized lighting surrounding my chakra.
.
.
.
.
Nothing.
"Don't worry if you don't get it right away, it'll take a while to learn." Sensei broke my thoughts.
"I see." I closed my eyes once again, feeling the current. Next thing I knew, there was lightning in my hand, the sound of birds I my ears, and then it was gone and I was thrown on my back. "Ow..." I sat up, rubbing the back of my head.
"Are you alright?" I nodded.
"D-Did I do it?" I asked. Sensei was kneeled beside me, his hand on my back and helping me sit up.
"Yeah. You did. It took me two years to master that jutsu and you did it in an hour. Are you sure your not a prodigy?"
"Sensei, that was my Nii-sans job." I stood. "Again."
"Wait a minute before you try it again. Remember there's a limit to your chakra supply and Chidori takes a lot of chakra." Sensei stopped me, taking hold of my wrist.
"I know that." I sighed.
"And I need to speak to the Hokage. Stay here and rest. I want him to see." I nodded as sensei poofed away.
Is the purple chakra really that strange? I asked myself.
Twenty minutes later I was on the ground sprawled on my back when sensei and the Hokage appeared. "Hi." I greeted. Sensei sweat dropped.
"Hello, Miyu. Kakashi told me. Can I see it?" I nodded and jumped to my feet.
Concentrating chakra into my hand I notice Lord Hokage narrow his eyes. Next I did as before, activating my sharingan and then adding my chakra nature.
I was able to keep my Chidori going for a few minutes before it threw me back and faded.
"You were right to come to me. That is strange, Kakashi." The Hokage frowned. "Nevertheless, unless it becomes a problem or causes damage, she should be fine to keep training. But keep me informed if anything changes."
I groaned as I got to my feet again. "So my purple chakra is weird?"
"Its a bit strange, but I don't see it causing a problem."
A few words later and I was sent home, where a very angry Sasuke waited for me like an angry mother.
Oh come on! The exams are tomorrow and my own brother is going to kill me!
Ayame: So the chuunin exams are starting!! Wooo!
Kitty: This should be interesting with what you have planned.
Ayame: Yeah I know
Kakashi: *reading Icha Icha*
Kitty: Hey Kaka-baka your supposed to do the disclaimer.
Kakashi: Oh. Aya-chan doesn't own Naruto.
Kitty: And as said before there should be some pretty regular updates between both books. When one is updated the other isn't far behind!
Kakashi: I'm not a baka -_-
Ayame & Kitty: Comment Vote and Eat Dango and ramen! Ja ne~
