Miyu's pov.
~Dream~
I took a deep breath, looking around at my surroundings. Then down at my own body, now dressed in a pure white mid-thigh length dress with spaghetti straps, and simple black flats.
"What...?" Looking around again, I realized I was in some sort of meadow. Gorgeous. There was a river in front of me, trees surrounding me, and a bright blue sky. "This place... is beautiful." I whispered.
The scenery around me changed to one of dark, torch lit hallways with rural carvings. Water surrounded my feet, and my dress stayed. I admit I was scared for a split second before curiosity got the best of me. "Hello?" I called out as if someone would actually answer. "Helloo?"
I started moving, the water swishing around my ankles as I took each step. Turning a corner, I came upon a large cell. There was a flash of yellow and I had to squinch my eyes to realize that the yellow, was a pair of eyes staring down at me. There was an emotion I couldn't place.
"Wake up." I frowned, reaching my hand out. "Wake up, Miyu." The deep raspy voice said again. I was about to touch something and then there was a bright light.
~End Dream~
I gasped in a breath, shooting up into a sitting position. My breaths were coming in pants as I tried to get a grip.
The door slammed open and my entire team stormed in, Sasuke immediately at my side, checking me. "Fevers gone." He said, placing his hand on my shoulder and pulling me against him.
"Miyu, how are you feeling?" Sensei asked, sitting down beside my bed. I closed my eyes, my head pounding.
"My head hurts." I whispered. Sasuke's arm tightened around me.
"We should be leaving soon." Sensei sighed. "Can you walk?" Opening my eyes I nodded. Sasuke stood and went to get my shoes. I climbed to my knees and then to my feet. I was unsteady but stabled after a minute. But as soon as I took a step, my legs gave out and I fell straight into warm arms.
"Are you ok?" I nodded meekly, and Naruto scooped me up bridal style, my arms wrapping around his neck. Sasuke slipped my shoes on my feet, and then practically ripped me from Naruto, leaving the blonde to stare at my brothers back with the meanest glare.
"Are you ready?" Sensei asked, The others nodded and we all started toward the bridge, even Tazuna and Inari.
It went fast. The goodbyes, I mean. And well...I sort of just took a little cat nap.. ^-^
Sasuke shifted me, putting me on his back, piggy back style, oh yeah!
:D
By the time we actually started leaving, I started listening. Naruto was having a very emotional moment with Inari. Kakashi, Sakura and my personal ride, Sasuke were already walking away.
"Ne, Onii-san?" I whispered. Sasuke grunted, signaling he was listening. "When we get home can we go train. My legs feel all tingly." I closed my eyes, resting my chin on his shoulder.
I felt Sasuke simply nod in reply. My body feels so weak. Its strange. I've never felt this weak. I guess this is what happens when you try to push out your chakra.
"How are you feeling, Miyu?" Opening my eyes, sensei had a hand on my head.
"Tired." I yawned.
"Sleep then. We'll wake you when we get to the village." Closing my eyes once more, I fell into a dreamless sleep.
*************** 3 days later **********
"If you don't hurry up then were going to be late, you know." I raised an eyebrow at my brother, who was in fact applying gel to his hair.
Yeah that duck butt style don't come naturally. Well at least not now that its longer. When we were little the back of his hair would always stick up because it was shorter than the rest of his hair.
Yup.
"Alright, alright." Sasuke sighed, and washed his hands before taking mine and heading out the door.
"Its about time." I sighed.
Its been three days since we came home from our first C-rank mission. I've finally gotten my full strength back. Sasuke did go through with his promise and trained with me, even though he finally won.
"What do you think sensei is calling us for, hm?" I asked.
"Don't know. But it sound important." Sasuke said bluntly. I pursed my lips, groaning. My twin is such a kill joy.
"Yeah yeah..."
When we got to the bridge, which was evidently the meeting place, Sakura and Naruto were already there. And surprise surprise, Kakashi-sensei was late again.
"Why doesn't he come on time for once." Naruto whined.
I nodded in agreement while Sakura made her own comment.
"Sorry I'm late guys!" I zoned out a bit until a paper was being waved in front of my face.
"Wh-What?" I blinked, taking the paper.
"Your being entered into the chuunin exams. Its your choice though whether you want to or not." Sensei stated. "But, Miyu. I want to talk to you." He glanced at Sasuke. "Alone."
"Alright. I'll be home in a bit, Onii-san!" I waved Sasuke off and followed sensei as he started walking away.
He lead me to the training are where we completed our first exercise. Turning, he stared down at me. "Miyu."
"What is it, sensei?" I asked, tilting my head to the side.
"About the chuunin exams.. are you going to enter?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Yeah. I am."
"I'm afraid... that if you enter, you'll have to do the exams on your own." My eyes lowered to the registration paper.
"Is that so." Sensei nodded. "Fine."
"Are you sure?" I nodded. "You know, Miyu. I understand that you and Sasuke are close, but you don't have to do this if you don't want to." I raised my eyes to look at sensei, bewildered.
I smiled softly, "I understand your concern, sensei. I want to do this." I sighed. "I've always been in the shadow of both my brothers.." My hand clenched around the form.
"Miyu." Sensei's eye softened a bit. "Alright then. If that's what you want."
"Ah! Sensei, c-could you maybe do some one on one training with me?" I lowered my eyes to the ground.
"Huh?" I frowned, turning away and crossing my arms over my chest.
"You don't have to if you don't have the time. But its sort of getting old training with Sasuke. I'm not learning anything new about my jutsu or anything." I sighed.
"The chuunin exams start the day after tomorrow. When you have the time, in between, or even after, I'll train with you." My eyes widened.
"Really?!" Sensei gave a closed eye smile, nodding.
"Actually, tomorrow is a free day. Why don't we start tomorrow?" My eyes were literally sparkling as I jumped at sensei, hugging the life out of him.
"Thank you, sensei!" His hand landed on my head.
"Alright. Tomorrow, at noon."
"Don be late, sensei!" I called back as I started running home.
I can't wait to start my private training or the chuunin exams!
