Chapter 89: Another Who's In Love With Naruto

"Baby! Baby! You did it! You did it!" Nia hugged Naruto as soon as he signaled to her, Bee, and Yamato that he was able to beat the Nine Tails.

"Yeah, and I got an awesome new form!" He grinned, transforming into bijuu mode.

When he did, Yamato's wood began to sprout little trees.

"Wow," Yamato commented. "It's so full of life energy."

"It's amazing..." Nia blushed.

However, as the group were in awe of his newfound powers, Naruto felt a sinister presence.

"You really think... that you can hide from me now? Don't think I don't know that you're here!" He suddenly yelled, confusing everyone.

"Naruto, what're you talking about?" Yamato questioned.

"I sense a evil presence... coming from... Octo-pops' blade, ya know!"

Immediately, a shark like man appeared out of the blade. The group recognized him as Kisame.

"Nia, get back!" Naruto moved his arm out in front of the girl as to protect her.

"Naruto!" Nia was frightened.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you," He reassured her.

The group would exchange some words with Kisame, but soon, he'd make a move to flee. Seeing this, Naruto quickly moved, using teleportation jutsu, and smashed Kisame to the wall.

Bee commented on how the move was like that of the yellow flash and Kisame was surprised at which speed Naruto gained to hit him. However, the man still managed to get free and exit the room.

Naruto attempted to move, but realized his foot was stuck.

"Guah! My leg!" He cried out. "I hit the wall too hard, now I'm stuck here!"

"Baby!" Nia came running to aid him.

"Looks like... he doesn't have full control of his skills yet!" Yamato observed then pointed outside the room and turned to Bee. "Please! Go after the spy, Master Bee! Nia and I are gonna help Naruto!"

"Right!" Bee quickly took off running.

"Nia," Yamato stopped the girl before she climbed the wall. "Please, let me assist Naruto. You shouldn't be climbing up the wall at that elevation while you're pregnant."

"But-"

"Just stay down here," Yamato ordered.

It would then take a few minutes before Yamato was able to free Naruto from the wall. He brought him to the ground and Naruto sat down.

"Damn!" He writhed in pain, dropping out of his form. "My ankle! I twisted it!"

"Oh baby!" Nia took out some medical equipment. "Let me help you!"

"Nia..." The blond gazed at her.

After Nia was done mending his injury, the group headed outside, just as Guy's taijutsu attack had a wide blast range in motion.

"Everyone! It's almost here! Brace yourselves!" Yamato warned.

Suddenly, a powerful wind came upon everyone.

"Kyaaa!" Nia screamed.

"NIA!" Naruto turned around and wrapped his arms around her, protecting her from the wind.

It lasted for about a minute but soon calmed down. Several minutes later, Guy brought back an unconscious Kisame and Yamato bounded the akatsuki member with his wood. Aoba next took the chance to read Kisame's mind, watching earlier events of him betraying the Mist play out and even being close to seeing the reveal of Madara Uchiha, himself.

However, Kisame managed to wake himself up and bite his tongue off. He proceeded to break free from his prison and performed a water prison jutsu. Guy attempted to punch through it but failed. Everyone watched as Kisame summoned sharks in his jutsu and soon, they began to eat away at him.

"KYAAA!" Nia screamed at the sight.

"Nia! Don't look!" Naruto brought her to his chest to keep her from watching Kisame getting devoured.

Soon, the water prison exploded and out came his blood, shaking everyone to their core.

"Oh baby..." Nia kept close to her boyfriend.

"Sweetie... just stay in my arms," Naruto told her.

Yamato fell to his knees.

"He was strong enough to be paired with Itachi in the Akatsuki. I never imagined he'd go out this way."

"Is he dead? Really?" Matoi questioned.

Meanwhile, Bee was comforting Samehada as the blade mourned Kisame's death.

"But still..." Naruto spoke as he lowered his eyes. "He died... instead of giving up intel on his comrades. Even in the akatsuki, there remain some who put their comrades ahead of themselves."

Guy responded saying that he'd remember Kisame for the rest of his life then took out the scroll he got from the man.

"He recorded information on us in that scroll and was planning on smuggling it out of here," Aoba mentioned.

"If that's the case, we should confirm the contents of that scroll. If we find out what they were interested in, then we can counter them," Matoi said.

Guy agreed and opened the scroll. Unfortunately, when he did, a gush of water came out and imprisoned everyone in a water prison jutsu.

"Damn! A water prison jutsu!" Yamato yelled.

"He left a booby trap in for us in that scroll!" Aoba said just as a shark was being released in each of their prisons.

"KYAAAA! NARUTOO!" Nia screamed as she was trapped in the same prison as Naruto since they were glued to eachother when the jutsu happened.

"NIA!" Naruto fought off against the shark as it swam around the two.

One shark bit the scroll and took off.

"Dammit! It's getting away!" Naruto yelled. "What do we do now?!"

Though it took a long while, eventually the group was able to free themselves from the prison. Guy was  the worse in shape as he was still feeling the after effects of his inner gates. Naruto and Nia went to check on him, but when they touched him, he screamed.

Yamato scolded them for doing what they did, yet Naruto ended up dropping Guy on his back, causing him even more pain. Nia quickly apologized for their insensitivity. While she did, everyone else whispered in secret about how the enemy must now know about their location and that they may need to move Bee and Naruto elsewhere.

Matoi reassured them that it be best for them to stay on the island since it was actually mobile — a large turtle. When that was done, Yamato gathered the group and Aoba took out a scroll, reading off what was "ordered" from Tsunade to Naruto as the young man kneeled in front of him.

"The five great nations face a critical situation as they prepare for the Fourth Great Ninja War," Aoba pretended to read. "There's concern that the shinobi samurai units won't be enough, so a third military unit, made up of animals, is to be formed. Therefore, it's been decided that a jinchuuriki who is able to communicate with animals- UH, I mean, one who loves animals, like Naruto Uzumaki, will be given the important tasks of assembling and organizing this animal unit. You'll start by analyzing the animals, and then..."

Aoba continued to make up Naruto's mission.

"You think we can get him to buy all this?" Yamato questioned.

"We have to make it work," Matoi replied.

"I feel so bad," Nia sighed.

But it's to protect my hero...

When Aoba finished what he wanted to say, he rolled the scroll back up and everyone waited with anticipation to how Naruto would respond to everything.

"This..." Naruto spoke before looking up with tears streaming down his face. "This is just the kind of intellectual mission I've been waiting for!"

The genin went onto expressing his excitement for the mission while everyone smiled with relief. Nia, however, couldn't shake the guilt she felt. However, she knew what her duty was and had to stick with it.

When everything was said and done, her and Naruto went to find King, the gorilla who was the leader of the animals. However, the beast yelled at him, his saliva spitting on Naruto.

Suddenly a voice alerted the couple and Naruto pointed at a ninja ostrich that had a bow tie around his neck.

"Hey! I know you! You're Condor! Don't tell me you escaped from the Leaf again!"

"Condor?" Nia raised a brow.

"It's... a really long story, but sweetie, this bird is trouble, trust me."

Condor laughed.

"Actually, I stored away on the ship that brought you here," He explained. "And now I'm completely free forever! FREEEEEDOOOOOM"

Nia sweat dropped.

"Unfortunately," Naruto smirked evily. "The animals on this island is gonna be recruited in a animal unit during the Ninja War. You'll be working with me, ya know!"

"Are you kidding me? I'm not going into war."

"Well listen up... I'll cut you a deal. If you serve as my animal translator, I'll let you off the hook," Naruto made a deal.

"Damn it..." Condor cursed.

As they were talking, King stared at Nia. He then began to make noises.

"Huh?" The couple glanced at the gorilla.

When they did, the animal wrapped Nia in its hand and lifted her up, puckering it's lips.

"GYAH!" Naruto freaked out. "WHAT THE HELL YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING TO MY GIRLFRIEND?! PUT HER DOWN!"

"King already said that he wants to help you out, but that you have to show him proof of your loyalty by letting him kiss your girlfriend," Condor translated.

With that, King gave multiple smooches to Nia's cheek as she squirmed around.

"COME ON! STOP KISSING HER ALREADY! GIVE HER BACK TO ME YOU DAMN GORILLA!" Naruto became upset.

"I wuv you," King told Nia.

Nia sweat dropped once more.

I'm not exactly sure... how to respond to any of this.

"King calls that a proof of his affection," Condor said as King set Nia down.

Naruto wrapped his arms around Nia and used one of sleeves to wipe Nia's cheek off.

"Stupid gorilla..." The blond muttered.

When he made sure Nia was well, he continued to ask who the strongest animals beside King was on the island. Condor went on to translate that it was a penguin, kaola, and a hippo. He also mentioned that if together, they'd break out in a fight and should never be within the same space.

Suddenly, everyone heard some loud noises and went to a different part of the island to check it out. It was just as they feared. The huge hippo, penguin, and kaola was fighting. King went to assert his dominance and it was revealed that the animals were fighting over that of a female and King demanded she'd come out and choose who she'd like to be with.

In that instant, something spun in the distance and it rolled all the way to Naruto, poking its head out. It was a female armadillo! She blushed upon making eye contact with Naruto.

Seeing this, Nia frowned.

"Uhh... what is this?" Naruto questioned, backing away with Nia.

When they looked to their right, they saw as King was getting riled up and out of nowhere, he attacked the other animals.

"What's going on?" Nia asked Condor.

"King says Armadico is his girlfriend!" Condor translated. He then went onto say, "Armadico is begging for the animals to stop fighting over her, that's she's not their property."

Immediately afterward, Armadico rolled to Naruto and gazed at him as Condor started laughing.

"She says... she's in love with you, Naruto."

"WHAAAAAT?!" Naruto screamed.

"I think the hell not!" Nia moved her boyfriend aside and got in front of the armadillo. "Listen up! You can't have my hero! He's the father of my babies and my future husband! You go rolling back from where you came from and butt out of our relationship!"

The armadillo frowned and glared at the girl.

"Oh boy..." Naruto sweat dropped. "This does not look good at all, ya know."

As Nia and the armadillo argued, the male animals took notice of the kunoichi and all of a sudden started fighting eachother again.

"What the hell's going on now?!" Naruto yelped.

"They're... in love with your girlfriend now and want to have her to themselves," Condor answered.

"THEY WHAAAAAA?!"

King started making a lot of noise and all at once, the animals glared at Naruto.

"You better run..." Condor warned. "They wanna beat you up since you not only have Armadico, but Nia as well..."

"Err... about that..." Naruto swept Nia off her feet while she was in the midst of arguing with the armadillo and held her bridal style.  "I think I'm gonna... GUUUUUUAH!"

In a instant, the blond took off running with Nia as all the animals chased after him.

Seeing his opportunity, Condor quickly said his goodbye and hopped off the island, running away and claiming freedom for himself.

At last... he had escaped.
