Chapter 84: Naruto's Clones Take Over

"KYAAA! NARUTO!" Nia screamed as she was losing her balance standing on the group's swaying ship.

It was storming harshly as rain poured out of the grey sky. The wind blew dramatically and everyone was doing what they could to get the boat under control.

"SWEETHEART!" Naruto yelled as he was pulling on a rope to help steer the ship right.

Immediately he looked to his clones.

"QUICK! GO HELP HER!" He demanded.

In seconds, a clone ran up to the girl and pulled her to its chest, protecting her from the weather.

"I got you, beautiful. Don't worry," It reassured her.

"Baby, I'm scared," Nia yelped.

"I'll protect you! I promise!"

Meanwhile, the other clones worked hard at trying to fulfill the original Naruto's demands. He worked them to the maximum and they were exhausted.

"Come on! What're you guys doing?! Go do the tasks I gave you!" The original demanded.

"Give us... a second to breathe..." The clones panted.

"Damn it! I didn't summon you clones so you can slack off, ya know!"

"We're... doing our best!"

"Oh yeah?! Then show me you are!"

As the storm raged on, the clones worked without rest. By the time the storm passed by, they collapsed to the ground, breathing hard.

"Man, you guys sure are lazy," The original Naruto commented.

"Says the one who did the least amount of work," A clone talked back.

"Yeah, whatever," Naruto rolled his eyes.

He then pointed at the clone holding Nia.

"You! Give me my girl!"

"Oh Naruto!" Nia broke out of the clones arms and ran into the original's embrace instead.

She was in tears.

"N-Naruto... I... I was so scared, baby," She croaked.

"Oh sweetie... there's no need for you to cry. Your hero was right there to save you," Naruto rubbed down the back of her head.

"Actually... I was the one to protect her," The clone that was with her through the storm said.

Naruto ignored him and gave a kiss to Nia's lips before hugging her even closer to himself.

This irked his clones.

"I'm sick of you making us do all the hard work, then you taking the credit," One snarled.

"Well, you're supposed to listen to me. I'm the original."

"And we're tired of you hogging our beautiful Nia all to yourself," The clones barked back.

Naruto rolled his eyes.

"You're all just jealous."

Meanwhile, a piece of the ship was starting to come loose and once it did, it came racing toward Naruto and Nia. A clone, who had been sleeping, immediately sprung into action and jumped in front of the loose item. It poofed away, but the events that would follow next was strange to Naruto.

Suddenly, his clones had taken on new personalities.

"Damn it," One of them had their arms folded. "Just who the hell do you think you are? Listen up! You owe everything to us clones. You even learned wind style thanks to us."

"Huh?" Naruto pointed a thumb at himself. "Are you kidding?! My power is all my own, buddy!"

"What?! Get real!"

The original then cupped his chin and observed the rest of the clones. One was grinning, the second looked gloomy, and the third appeared feminine.

"You clones..." He said. "You look different than just a second ago."

The leader of the clones, whom appeared arrogant, said, "Ha! That just goes to show you that you don't really have an up close and personal relationship with us."

"He means that we may be your clones, but you're still real prejudice against us," The happy Naruto explained.

"No, that isn't true at all," The original disagreed. "Maybe it's just a little difficult for me to believe that some of you guys are really part of me."

"Oh my, my... attacking yourself," The feminine Naruto spoke.

Naruto glared at his clones.

"There's just no way in hell that a softie like you, or a gloomy one like this guy is actually a part of me!"

"Or are you just not able to accept the truth of who you really are," Feminine Naruto replied.

"If that personality wasn't a part of you, then you couldn't do the sexy jutsu," Gloomy Naruto backed his fellow clone up. Tears then streamed down his face. "And if you wanna know the truth... that jutsu is just embarrassing. I did it cause I wanted attention."

"Hey, please don't cry..." Nia sympathized with the clone.

Meanwhile, happy Naruto wrapped his arm around his opposite.

"Hey!" He chirped. "Don't cry. All that stuffs in the past. Now the entire village makes a big fuss over us, so be happy!"

"Stop it!" Naruto yelled, gently moved away from Nia, and crossed his fingers. "You guys are pissing me off! Fine! If you want me to release the stupid jutsu, I will!"

"Ah, just give it a rest!" Arrogant Naruto commented. "You'll probably just keep working us to the bone. Like it or not, we're staying."

"Baby, I think we just need to be sensitive to your clones feeli-"

"Don't start now, beautiful," Naruto interrupted Nia.

He then faced his clones.

"I think you all need to go cool down. Release!"

"Baaang!" Happy Naruto fell to his back. "Now we're all faaadiiing."

"What is- Why aren't you guys all gone already?" Naruto was confused, but decided to try again. "Release!"

The clones only kept existing.

"Release! Release! RELEASE! RELEASE! RELEASE! RELEASE! RELEEEEASE!" Naruto yelled.

When the clones kept doing what they were doing, Naruto stared at them baffled.

"It's not working," He said.

All the clones stood up with him.

"Didn't you know?" The leader of the clones responded. "It's up to us when the jutsu is released. So if we don't have faith in you anymore, we're done listening."

"But-"

"Get him!" The leader demanded the group to tackle the original.

"What the?! Get off of me! Stooop it!" Naruto cried out.

"Naruto!" Nia screamed.

"Nia! Nia, help!"

"I don't think so!" The arrogant Naruto appeared to Nia's side and pulled her to his chest.

"No! What're you doing?! Let go! Let go of me!" The girl struggled to get herself free.

"Sorry beautiful, but you're mine now!" The arrogant clone replied.

"Dammit! Let go of my sweetheart right now!" The original Naruto was infuriated.

"No way!" The leader replied. "Us clones are gonna tie you up and make sure you can't beat us down so that we disappear."

"Gyah! C'mon! What're you talking about?!" Naruto throttled around. "Let us go!"

Soon enough, the clones tied Naruto to a wooden post. The original watched as the leader of the clones kept Nia close to himself.

"Just what're you planning to do with us?!" Nia still attempted to escape the arrogant Naruto's grasp.

"We want nothing to do with that fake over there," He answered before pressing Nia closer to himself and grasping her hand between their chests. He gazed deeply into her eyes. "But we want everything that has to do with you, gorgeous."

Hearing this and seeing that even her boyfriend's clones so much desired her, Nia blushed.

"You're the absolute most stunning, most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on. I love you so much, sweetheart," The clone sweet talked the girl.

Of course, Nia fell for it.

"Oh Naruto..." She allowed herself to be embraced as hearts floated out of her head.

"WHAT THE?! NIA! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING SNUGGLING UP TO THAT FAKE?!" The original whined. "I'M THE REAL NARUTO, YA KNOW!"

"Shut up!" The clone responded. "You don't care for her as much as I do."

"You little..." Naruto gritted his teeth. "JUST WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I LOVE HER WITH ALL MY HEART!"

Arrogant Naruto ignored the original and cupped Nia's chin in his fingers. Again, he gazed ever so lovingly in her eyes.

Nia could feel the extent of his love through his orbs alone. It made her feel incredibly fluffy and warm.

"U-Uzumaki..." She shyly averted her eyes.

"Don't look away, gorgeous."

"But baby, the way you're staring at me..."

Arrogant Naruto was blushing.

"Your beauty takes my breath away," He whispered. "You truly are just everything I adore."

"Oh Naruto..." Nia's heart throbbed in her chest.

"NIA!" The original yelled. "COME ON! YOU KNOW THAT'S NOT THE REAL ONE! STOP GIVING INTO HIS CHARMS, DAMN IT!"

"Oh, be quiet..." Happy Naruto approached the original. "Can't you tell she's happier with us?"

"Like for real..." Feminine Naruto coated his eyelashes with mascara while looking into a mirror. "She's an absolutely gorgeous girl. What do you expect? Of course we wanna keep her to ourselves."

"Through the hardest storms I face, she's always there for me," Gloomy Naruto added.

"But you guys AREN'T ME! She's MY GIRLFRIEND, YA KNOW!" Naruto yelled.

"Shut it already," Arrogant Naruto glared at the original before focusing back on his love. "Say Nia, you love being called beautiful, don't you?"

"Yes, I love hearing it cause it makes feel worthy and loved and attractive," The girl answered.

"Damn, just look at you... beautiful eyes, pretty hair, luscious lips, gorgeous nose... everything about you is the definition of truly beautiful."

"Oh Naruto..." Nia couldn't stop blushing.

"You are absolutely mesmerizing... a work of art."

"Oh baby..." The girl stayed in his arms.

"Hellooooo! Earth to Niaaaa! Don't you get that that guy is just sweet talking you?!" Naruto frowned.

"In the beginning, you've always felt like I couldn't possibly like you, right?" Arrogant Naruto brought up to Nia.

"Yes," Nia nodded. "I felt like I was too ugly and fat for you and that you could never love me because of your feelings for Sakura."

"I was so stupid..." The real Naruto sighed. "I was so focused on getting Sakura to love me when I already had the love you have for me..."

"Naruto... I just wanted you to love me. I just wanted to be with you. I just wanted to be in your arms forever. I wanted you to protect me and cherish me."

"Oh sweet Nia..." Naruto's heart thudded. "I love you... I love you so much. Your feelings has always stunned me. I'll love you forever and ever. My love for you won't fade, ya know?"

"Naruto..."

"I'm serious, beautiful. Your love is the reason I do my best each day. You make me so happy and you fill me up with a feeling I've never felt before. I need you to be in my life forever. I need you to be with me. I need you to just... to just stick and love me all the days of our lives. I can't be without you, my love."

"Oh baby... this is all I've ever wanted. To love and be loved in return."

"I know, sweetie. I want the same thing. Any love... any love at all."

"Oh Naruto..." Nia wrapped her arms around Arrogant Naruto's neck.

The real Naruto gasped.

"Nia, what the heck. I'm the one who was saying that stuff to you, so why are you hugging that fake?!"

"Didn't you see?" Happy Naruto replied. "He was mimicking every word you said to her, so it made her think he said it instead."

Naruto gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes.

"Damn you... you took advantage of what I said."

Arrogant Naruto kept Nia's head to his chest and looked at the original.

"She's mine to have, ya know..." He claimed.

"As if..." Naruto spat. "I'm the one who banged her and got her pregnant."

"Naruta and Nisaki are my baby girls..." Arrogant Naruto responded.

"What you say?!"

"When they're born, I'm gonna dress them up all cute and have them be the prettiest babies around," Feminine Naruto said.

"I don't want any of you guys around my baby girls!" Naruto yelled.

"Just what on earth is going on around here?" Yamato finally showed up with Guy and Aoba.

"Good! Captain Yamato, my clones tied me up and are trying to take my identity. They even got my sweet Nia to warm up to them! They're trying to steal her away from me, ya know!"

"Sounds like you're in quite a pickle, my friend," Guy replied.

"Yeah, no kidding," Aoba sweat dropped.

"Well then, I'll settle the matter here," Guy approached Arrogant Naruto and pointed at him. "You there! Give our Naruto his girlfriend back."

"I don't think so," The clone replied and scooped Nia into his arms. "My beautiful Nia belongs to me."

"Well, I guess I'll have to take her from you by force," Guy got into a stance.

Instantly, the rest of Naruto's clones stood protectively in front of their leader.

"You'll have to get through us first!" Happy Naruto grinned.

"Ya, we won't let you have our queen," Feminine Naruto declared.

"She's the only reason I feel I have hope in this world," Gloomy Naruto admitted.

"Well then, let's dance," Guy next sprung forward.

For the next several minutes, he fought Naruto's clones. The clones did their best to keep from getting hit and eventually kicked Guy into the ocean. What they weren't expecting was to see Guy swimming back toward them, this time in nothing but swim briefs.

"Gah! Who wants to see all that?!" Arrogant Naruto appeared disgusted.

"Not even I want to see Bushier Brow sensei wearing that," Real Naruto shuddered.

"Baby, try luring him on the boat then swaying it. Take advantage of the fact that he gets sea sick," Nia brought up.

"GYAH! WHAT THE-" Original Naruto hollered. "SWEETHEART, WHY ARE YOU GIVING THESE CLONES IDEAS?! AREN'T YOU ON MY SIDE?!"

"That's a GREAT idea!" Arrogant Naruto grinned then motioned to his fellow clones. "You guys! Listen to Nia!"

So that's what they did. When Guy made it safely to the boat, they swayed it back and forth and in doing so, triggered his stomach to be upset. Immediately, Guy hung onto a post at the front of the boat, trying to stop the boat from rocking but nothing worked. The three other clones pulled at his briefs, trying to get him to let go and once they did, they tied him with rope, similar to how they did with Naruto and kicked him over to the genin.

"That worked perfectly," Arrogant Naruto still held Nia up in his arms. "Good work, you guys."

"Now all that's left is Captain Yamato and Aoba," Happy Naruto gushed.

"Baby, aren't you proud of me, too?" Nia gave shimmery eyes to Arrogant Naruto. "I'm the one who came up with the idea to sway the boat."

"Yes, beautiful," Arrogant Naruto laid a kiss on Nia's lips. "I'm so proud of you. Thanks for your help."

"Oh Naruto..."

"GUAH! THATS IT! I'M GONNA KILL YOUUUU!" Fire erupted around Naruto, burning the ropes he was bounded by and freeing himself. "HOW DARE YOU LAY YOUR LIPS ON MY SWEETHEART!"

Arrogant Naruto backed away with Nia still in his grasp.

"Baby, I'm scared!" Nia cried.

"Don't worry! I won't let him take you from me!"

"YOU GIVE ME BACK MY GIRL RIGHT NOW, DAMMIT!" Naruto stomped forward with his fists curled and fire in his eyes.

However, before he could do anything, Yamato enclosed him in a wooden sphere.

Arrogant Naruto breathed a sigh of relief.

"Just what the hell you think you're doing, Captain Yamato?!" The original Naruto glared.

"You can't fight him like that. You'll end up hurting Nia," The brown haired man reasoned.

"My sweet Nia belongs to me and me only, ya know!"

"I understand that, but Naruto, just breathe."

"I don't get why you're so angry," Gloomy Naruto cried. "All we want is for you to appreciate and reward us for what we do."

"And why should I? You're just clones!" Naruto argued. "You're supposed to listen to me! Shouldn't a child listen to their father?!"

"Baby..." Nia suddenly spoke, acknowledging his presence finally.

"Sweet Nia, come here," Naruto demanded.

"No," Nia kept close to his clone. "Your clones are right baby! They do everything for you! Even the most petty things like turn the light off cause you're too lazy to do it yourself. I think it's is true that you should show them some more appreciation for what they do. I mean, they constantly protect not only me, but you also from the enemy!"

Immediately, Naruto saw an opening in Yamato's wooden sphere and climbed out of it.

"Sweet Nia! Why are you on their side?! I'm the real Naruto!" He said.

"Hmph!" Nia whipped her head dismissively. "The real Naruto I know is a lot kinder and sensitive than that!"

Suddenly, Arrogant Naruto set Nia down and all four clones suddenly gathered dangerous weapons in their hands. Everything became red as they approached the original.

"Wait a minute! What are you guys doing?!" Naruto fell to his bottom.

"We're gonna get rid of you," Happy Naruto declared.

"We're the real Naruto!" Feminine Naruto claimed.

"You can no longer exist amongst us," Gloomy Naruto said.

"And Nia is our woman forever!" Arrogant Naruto then aimed his weapon at Naruto's head.

"AHHHH!" Naruto screamed as they swung their weapons at him.

However, he felt nothing as he suddenly sat up, met by three clones and Nia who appeared to be worried for him.

"Baby, are you okay?" The girl questioned.

When Naruto got a full intake of his girlfriend in front of him, he immediately embraced her.

"NIA! OH, MY SWEET, BEAUTIFUL NIA! I WON'T LET THEM TAKE YOU FROM ME!" He screamed.

"Let who take me?" Nia tilted her head.

Naruto immediately pointed at his clones.

"THEM!"

The three clones exchanged bewildered looks.

"What're you talking about?" They said.

"You stole my beautiful Nia from me and tied me up, trying to steal my identity!" Naruto clarified.

"We... didn't do anything."

"Hold on," Naruto noticed something off. "Wasn't there four of you guys?"

"Baby, a piece of metal came flying down at us and one of your clones, who was sleeping, rescued us and disappeared," Nia explained.

"What?!" Naruto's eyes widened. "Then that means-"

He thought of that clone who he knew was dreaming.

I get it now... he was dreaming and when he had protected Nia and I and disappeared, it all got processed by me.

"Look all we want is to be done with everything," The clones complained.

"Yeah, I'll release you guys," Naruto replied.

"Really?! You will?!"

"Yeah. Good work," He crossed his fingers and released the jutsu.

As the smoke hit him, he remembered the four clones who had tied him up.

A smiling, happy version of him; A soft, feminine version of him; A pouting, gloomy version of him; and a sweet talking, arrogant version of him.

"Baby?" Nia looked at him. "You're not hurt at all, are you?"

"No, sweetie..." Naruto kissed her and held her close to him.

'Thank goodness,' He smiled. 'That whole thing was just a dream...'
