Chapter 82: A Night Together?

"C'mon Nia, I wanna hold you," Naruto whined as he touched up on his girlfriend.

"I said no, baby," Nia replied.

"Why not?"

"Because I'm not having sex anymore for the time being."

"But why not? What did I do wrong?!"

"Naruto, it's time our relationship grows into something that's more powerful than sex itself," Nia removed Naruto's hand off her breast.

Naruto frowned.

"Sweetie, what're you talking about?"

"I wanna wait till after we're married to have sex."

"WHAT?!" The blond freaked out.

"You heard me, Uzumaki."

"But sweetie, why do we have to wait till after we're married to have sex?"

"Naruto, don't you see what happened? I'm pregnant... I'm pregnant with twins that neither of us are ready to take care of."

"We're more than ready to be parents for our baby girls, ya know?" Naruto argued.

"No... we're not, honeybun," Nia shook her head.

"And why you say that, beautiful?"

"Because we don't even know the first thing that goes into taking care of a baby."

"Isn't it obvious? We change their diaper, we feed them, we burp them-"

"Naruto, there's a lot of stuff that goes into taking care of a baby, let alone, two babies."

"Sweetheart, I'm sure we can manage," Naruto kissed Nia.

"No, honeybun," Nia gently pushed him away.

"Nia, don't reject your hero," Naruto attempted to get more affectionate.

"I said no, Uzumaki."

"Nia."

"Baby, no."

"I said stop rejecting me, Nia."

"I'm not rejecting you," Nia said.

"Yes you are, beautiful. You won't have sex with me."

"It's because I wanna see if you believe our love is way more important than sex."

"It is, sweetie."

"Then stop sleeping with me until we get married."

Naruto shook his head.

"I can't do that, ya know?"

"Why not?"

"Because you're very beautiful, sweetheart. I can't get my hands off you."

"Then marry me."

"I will... eventually," Naruto answered.

"Marry me now so we can have sex," Nia responded.

Naruto replied, "Sweetie, why rush? We should have our baby girls first before anything else."

"Then I guess that means months without sex."

"Months without- YOU'RE KIDDING, RIGHT?!" Naruto gasped.

"I'm being dead serious," Nia folded her arms.

"Sweetie, quit with the crazy talk. Come here, beautiful," Naruto squeezed her breast.

Nia moved his hand away.

"Sweetheart, you can't be serious about this," Naruto pouted.

"I'm very serious about it, baby. I already told you."

"Sweetie, please!"

"No, honeybun."

Hearing this, tears sprung into Naruto's eyes. Immediately, Nia felt a stab of guilt hit her.

"Oh baby," She hugged him.

"Sweetie, w-why won't you sleep with me?" Naruto whimpered.

"Because baby... after thinking about it, I can't trust you with my body."

"What do you mean?"

"Naruto, the reason I'm pregnant is cause you changed my birth control pills and you purposely shoot yourself inside me countless times."

"I know I did, but sweetheart-"

"No, honeybun.., that was completely unacceptable, especially when I had told you all those times I wasn't ready for babies."

"I did it to protect you, ya know," Naruto reminded the girl.

Nia sighed.

"I just wish... you weren't so quick to make important decisions by yourself."

"Are you saying you regret our baby girls?"

"No, of course not. I love our babies, but I wish we had them when we're both ready."

"Oh sweetie..." Naruto stroked her cheek.

He then leaned forward.

"Baby, I already said no," Nia placed her hands on his chest.

"You're so beautiful, Nia. I can't take my eyes off you..."

"Naruto, I know what you're doing."

"Sweet, little Nia, please let your hero hold you. You're so gorgeous and very pretty. He loves you."

"Baby," The girl frowned. "Quit trying to sweet talk me."

"Gorgeous," The blond gripped her hand between their chests. "Why're you resisting your hero?"

"I already told you."

"Nia, don't reject me like that," Naruto whined some more.

"Oh baby..."

"At least let me hold you one last time."

Nia thought about it.

"I don't know, baby."

"Sweetheart, c'mon."

Nia observed the sadness in her boyfriend's eyes and she thought of something.

"Naruto... can I ask you something?"

"Of course, beautiful."

"W-Would you leave me if I was to... never give you sex again?"

"Sweetheart... what kinda question is that?" The blond gazed into Nia's eyes.

Nia only lowered her's to the ground.

"I just... worry... that sex is what you crave for most. What you crave... over genuine, true love."

"And why would you think that, sweet Nia?" Naruto questioned.

"I don't know... I'm just scared that if I was for some reason say I didn't wanna have sex anymore or that I couldn't have sex anymore for any reason... you'd leave me... or look for it elsewhere."

"What?" Naruto cupped Nia's face in his hands.

Nia kept her eyes off him.

"Nia, look at me," Naruto told her.

Nia slowly brought her eyes onto his, except... they were filled with tears.

"Sweet Nia... listen to me and listen to me carefully. I would never and I mean NEVER leave you nor sleep with someone else if we were to stop having sex for some reason. You're too important to me for me to let you go cause of something like sex. I love you and I wanna be with you more than you'll ever know. You're my world, ya know?" Naruto reassured her.

"Oh Naruto..." Nia sniffled as a tear rolled down her face.

"If you really want to stop having sex for the time being... then okay. I won't force you to sleep with me."

"Oh baby... I'm so sorry."

"Don't apologize. For some reason, I haven't shown that I literally choose our love over sex, but I'm here to prove it to you that I love you dearly and plan on spending the rest of my life with you and provide for and protect and cherish you and our babies."

"Oh honeybun..." Tears flowed out of Nia's eyes.

"Come be in your hero's arms," Naruto brought the girl to his chest and wrapped his arms around her.

"Oh Naruto, I love you," Nia said.

The blond kissed her head.

"Yes, I love you, too, beautiful Nia. Your hero adores you so much."

"My hero's really gonna marry me one day?"

"Yes, gorgeous. He absolutely will."

"He promises?"

"Yes, beautiful."

"Oh Naruto, I can't wait till you're my husband."

"And I can't wait till we officially become a family. When our baby girls are born."

Hearing this, Nia smiled.

"My love will always be strong for you, Uzumaki..."

"Sweetheart..."

"I wanna be with you for the rest of my life... till the day I die and even my days after that."

"Sweetie, I wanna be together for eternity, too..." Naruto replied. "Forever and ever. For the rest of my days here and beyond, ya know?"

"Naruto, please don't stop holding me," Nia begged.

"I'll never let you go, beautiful."

"I just want you to always think I'm beautiful... that I'm pretty."

"And I do, my beautiful, sweet, pretty Nia."

"Oh Naruto..."

Naruto smiled.

"Naruto, I don't ever want us to be separated," Nia expressed.

"And we won't. We'll be together forever. Nothing could tear us apart for good."

"My hero is so amazing and kind."

"And my sweet Nia is so beautiful and sweet."

"Does my hero really mean that?" Nia looked up at her boyfriend.

"Yes, gorgeous," Naruto answered.

"Oh baby..."

"Give your hero a kiss," The blond puckered his lips slightly.

"Yes, honeybun," Nia pressed her lips against his.

They kissed for a few moments before pulling away.

"You'll always be precious to your hero," Naruto breathed, resting Nia's head on his chest again.

"I can't believe my hero still loves me."

"Of course he does."

"I want my hero to only be with me and no other girl."

"Oh sweetheart, he'll never be with another girl. You're his future... his everything."

"Oh Naruto..."

"Nia..."

For a few minutes, the two stayed in the other's arms. Peeking through the door, the three men accompanying them: Yamato, Guy, and Aoba, watched and listened to the last part of their conversation.

"I gotta admit, even though they're overly affectionate with one another, they are really sweet toward the other," Yamato commented.

"I still think they should focus at the matter at hand," Aoba replied.

"Nonsense!" Guy said. "Let those kids enjoy their time together. After all, they're gonna have beautiful baby girls, remember?"

"Yeah... only cause Naruto switched Nia's pills," Aoba sweat dropped.

Yamato sighed.

"Even though that was very wrong for him to do, Naruto was only concerned for her well being."

"What's done is done," Guy responded. "It's not like we can go back in time and stop him from doing what he did. All we can do now is look forward to the future and wish them the best of luck."

Nia stirred in Naruto's arms.

"What's wrong, beautiful?" Naruto questioned.

"I don't know... I feel like... we're being watched, baby," Nia answered.

Quickly, the three men quietly closed the door just seconds before the couple looked at it.

"Sweetheart... there's no one there," Naruto pointed out, looking over his shoulder.

"But baby, it really felt like someone was watching us."

"Why's it matter, beautiful?"

"Because don't you want privacy with me?"

"Yes, but sweetheart, you have nothing to worry about, ya know?" The genin kissed the top of the girl's head.

"Maybe it was just the guys out there," Nia concluded.

"Yeah... they're the only ones with us on this boat."

Naruto placed his hand on Nia's belly.

"Never mind all that, though. Let me talk to our beautiful baby girls," He said.

"Okay," Nia stood and risen her shirt enough for her belly to be shown.

"Naruta... Nisaki... Daddy just wanted to say hi to you both today. He hopes your developing inside mommy really well and that you babies are healthy. Daddy doesn't want anything bad happening to you. He'll do anything to protect you," Naruto spoke to the twins. "Daddy can't wait till you two are born. He's so excited to meet and take care of you. Daddy's gonna do his best to make sure you both grow up peacefully."

"Oh honeybun..." Nia blushed.

"Daddy loves you," Naruto then kissed each side of Nia's belly, before gently pulling her shirt back down.

He next stood up also and embraced the girl.

"Our baby girls are gonna be so beautiful... all thanks to their mother."

"No, our children are gonna be beautiful thanks to my hero," Nia replied.

"Nia, don't say that. The babies are precious and pretty cause of you," Naruto argued.

"Oh Naruto..."

"Now sweetie..." Naruto trailed off.

"What?"

"The boat swaying isn't making you seasick, is it?" The blond asked.

"No, baby," Nia said.

"Good. I don't know what I would've done if you were seasick while pregnant with our little girls."

"I'm sure the babies would be fine, Uzumaki."

"No, the babies would've been in danger," Naruto held Nia tighter.

"Oh honeybun..."

"I must protect you and the babies from getting sick."

"Baby, I'm sure we'll be just fine."

"No, we need to be extra sure you and the girls are safe."

"And how are we gonna do that?"

"We're gonna stop this boat and have you get checked out, ya know!" Naruto came to a decision.

"Baby, that's unnecessary. I'm doing just fine," Nia said.

"No, sweetie!"

"Naruto, you're just being overprotective again, honey..."

"I have to be... otherwise, you'll end up hurt or sick."

Nia placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Baby, it's okay. Stop stressing yourself," She attempted to reassure him.

"Sweetie, we're gonna have you checked out and that's final," Naruto demanded.

"Naruto we need to get to that island. Stopping for a checkup is just gonna be a big waste of time since I'm just fine."

"The island can wait, ya know!"

"No, baby, it can't."

"Sweetheart, don't argue with your hero again."

"Oh Naruto... but I keep telling you I'm okay."

"We have to make triple sure you are."

"Uzumaki..." Nia pouted.

"Captain Yamato!" Naruto then raced out of the room. "Stop this boat right now! My sweetheart needs to have her and the babies health checked."

Nia sighed as she watched her boyfriend leave.

It's cute that he cares and is worried for the babies and I, but seriously... we're all doing just fine...
