Chapter 29: The Choice—Pregnanancy or Death?

The soft sound of snoozing filled the ears of Naruto as he was left awake in the tiny squared room with moonlight barely glimpsing through the window as he still was under restraints.

His eyelids were heavy, but he refused to allow them to shut him down. For hours, he fought the urge to sleep. It didn't matter to him that the whites of his eyes were red or that his body was begging to refresh itself

Nia could be found any moment. What would happen if he were to fall asleep now when he was most needed and failed to rescue her because he would be so out of it? Although, the same could be said for the action he was taking right now; He was exhausted.

It seemed like a lost cause for that of himself, but if he'd be in such a deep sleep that if someone were to wake him up, it would be next to impossible.

All he could do was wiggle or try to be as annoying as possible in the hopes that someone would get tired of him and let him loose. Kakashi slept through it all with earbuds to block out the noise while everyone else slept peacefully in an entirely other room. With no new tricks, Naruto stared at the wall.

~FLASHBACK~

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry," Nia was rubbing ointment on the genin's back as he winced at her touch. "It must hurt pretty badly, huh?"

"S-Sorta, but don't worry about it. They're just scratches, they'll heal."

"What about the hickeys though? I was too rough with you... I didn't mean to leave marks on you, honey..."

"Don't feel so bad about it, Nia. You were just trying to deal with that jealousy you were feeling earlier, right?"

"Yeah... my anxiety was acting up and I let out my stress by incidentally holding onto your back too tightly with my nails scraping against it and sucking too hard on your neck. You know I prefer being more gentle with your skin... I feel really bad for letting my emotions get out of hand when we did it. Next time, maybe we should allow myself to calm down first before doing it cause I don't wanna accidentally hurt you again due to being stressed."

"And what about those kiss marks? Why'd you leave them all over me? The whole village was laughing at me and the guys even saw it on my dick and stuff. Damn..."

Nia's face went red.

"Kyaaaa! I didn't know you'd leave for the bathhouse after our cuddle. I literally went into the bathroom to start us a shower, but when I came back, you were gone and I had no idea where you went. I'm so sorry that you got laughed at. I didn't expect you to leave the apartment Naruto, otherwise I woulda reminded you to wash yourself here first."

"But why'd you leave kiss marks on my body in the first place? One of the guys said they think it's cause you don't trust me to tell other girls to back off."

"Huh? No, that's not it at all. Naruto, haven't you noticed I've been wearing lipstick when we do it lately and how every time we finish, I kiss you everywhere? I leave kiss marks on you cause it's sort of a newfound kink of mine, I guess. I like seeing it on your skin," The girl was embarrassed to say. "I just learned recently that it looks hot to me, but like I said before, I never intended to have you walk outside with that on you."

"So it was just a kink and not cause you want other girls to see it and back off?" The blonde wanted to make sure.

"Yes, it's a kink. And I'm sorry if that's like gross or something. I just think it makes me feel better to see it on you."

Naruto let out a sigh of relief and a couple hours later, the two would try going on another date after their previous one had been rudely interrupted. This time, they just preferred a stroll around nature outside of the village gates.

What the-" Naruto covered his eye when a flash blinded his vision for a bit as he was eating a rice ball with his right hand while interlocking his fingers with Nia's with his other hand.

When he looked to his left, he watched as Nia was smiling and blushing down at the photo in a camera.

"Nia, why do you keep taking pictures of me at random times?" He sweatdropped.

"Because I can't help it, Naruto. You're such a dream," She told him, still blushing over the photo she managed to take of him. "Like I just... I'm so mesmerized. I wanna take pictures of you."

"Let me see this thing," He gently took the camera out of her hands and went through the film. "Gah! Did you really gotta take a pic of me brushing my teeth and when I'm sleeping?!"

"You're my hero," Nia responded before showing him another photo. "And this is you when you were training. You look so amazing and tough here...."

"Geez... you're so helpless..." The blonde continued looking through the pictures. "And weird."

"Do... you think that it's creepy that I was taking pictures randomly?"

"N-No, it's not that, it's just..." He reddened slightly. "I hate to admit it, BUT THIS IS WEIRDLY CUTE TO ME! NIA, YOU'RE ADORABLE, YA KNOW!"

"Kya!" Nia squealed upon being hugged tightly and having Naruto's cheek nuzzle up with her's. "So then I can take pictures of my hero whenever I want?"

"As long as I've got my boxers on." The genin once more went through the photos. "Besides, look at my jawline. Damn, I'm fine. I can see why you like me, Nia. This handsome face needs to be the face of the village. You know how sexy my face statue is gonna look on the Hokage monument? Too sexy for anyone to handle, ya know."

"Ahahaha," The girl giggled. "Can I take more pictures of you right now then? My hero is hot and amazing! I love him!"

"Pfft, of course you can!" Naruto hopped atop a boulder and started posing for the camera. "Make sure you get my good side though, kay?"

"I think you're handsome at every angle," Nia started snapping pictures.

"You're right, I forgot. Your future hokage is smoking hot no matter what," Naruto did pose after pose after pose. "I might as well get used to this cause cameras are gonna be flashing in my face sooner or later."

A few minutes later, Nia would wrap it up.

"Okay, I got my pics," She told him as he hopped off the boulder and landed next to her, peering over her shoulder.

"Man, I cannot get enough of this face," The blonde rubbed his chin while looking at his photos. "I could just hang these on my wall and kiss it!"

"Yeah, me too," Nia threw in, earning a chuckle from the genin.

"Now you have something to stare at while I'm away on missions," He then kissed her on the cheek before resting a hand on her stomach to feel if there was an unfamiliar bump there yet. "And hopefully we can take pictures of our baby soon too."

"Baby?" Nia snapped her head at him. "We're not having a baby anytime soon."

"Oh!" Naruto played this off and faked a laugh. "I was totally just kidding! Just kidding, ya know! Ahaha."

"Oh, well I was just making sure cause you know... You've been going through some things..."

"No, I'm fine. We're super young anyway. Who the hell wants a baby so young?"

"Right," The girl nodded. "You gotta focus on your goals first too!"

With that, she marched forward, leaving the blonde to stare at her as she did.

... Continuously leaving outside of the village while I'm not there is only gonna get you killed. Even if it's wrong, I'll put a baby in you so you have no chance of leaving for a long time. I tried EVERYTHING to get you to stay and I'm out of options. I don't know what else to do or to turn to. I'm scared.

~FLASHBACK ENDS~

Naruto frowned.

It's true though... I was left with no choice but to stoop that low. I'd rather her be pregnant young than to die young. Now all this seems to backfire at me. If she's pregnant she won't be able to protect herself properly, but even if she wasn't, the Akatsuki aren't a joke. They'll kill her instantaneously.

What am I going to do?
