A/N- Omg I'm way past schedule 😅 y'all gonna have to forgive me, I got way too caught up with other things to update. Like seriously. At one point, I forgot this story existed but I have finally got this update ready for you all and I'd really appreciate it if you could comment your thoughts on it as I had went out of my way to give you guys basically two chapters for you all to enjoy this week. This chapter has like TEN THOUSAND WORDS lol.

Like I said last chapter, this chapter is somewhat of a lemon... I guess? But not really. You'll get what I mean when you read. If you don't like it, don't get mad at me, just skip the parts you don't like. I still gotta write the lemons for the people who want to read them — which is way more people than the people who are sick of it. Chapter 12: A Misunderstanding

"Come on!" Dark Naruto pulled Nia's arm. "Get moving or else."

"H-Hold on now... let's just... sit and chat through all this, kay?" Nia chuckled nervously as she slowly walked forward.

Ignoring her, the genin brought her to his apartment and locked the door behind him without facing directly at it. Immediately after, he began closing in on Nia who was backing away, his slow yet intimidating steps made her slightly fearful and anxious.

This continued until Nia bumped against his bed and was forced to watch as the guy made his way over to her, stopping just mere inches opposite of her.

"Pfft, you know... sex has always been overrated," She attempted to get herself out of the mess she was in. "But you know what isn't overrated? Ramen. Speaking of which, there's a whole ton of them in your drawer over there. Why don't I make us some and we can-"

"We're having sex and that's final, ya know," The blonde narrowed his eyes, sending shivers down the kunoichi's back.

"You know what? You might wanna take a step back cause look at this," She resorted to throwing random jabs in the air. "These hands are lethal! Bah, bop, bah! You don't want any of-Kya!"

Having swept behind the girl's feet with that of his own foot, Dark Naruto had caused the girl to trip and land flat on he back on his bed in the middle of her performing her right hooks and uppercuts. Quickly, he slammed his left hand down next to her head then used his right index finger to slowly move his claw down her face before cupping her cheek in his hand.

"L-Listen, we don't have to do this," Nia trembled. "B-Besides, this is what... I was talking about. I don't like this. I don't like feeling dirty and disgusting. I'll only agree if you promise to be gentle."

"Argh, did I tell you to yap your mouth?!" Dark Naruto hopped off the kunoichi and headed towards his closet, seemingly searching for something before pulling out an erotic outfit and throwing it at Nia right as she stood off the bed. "Change out of your clothes and put this on since you like being dominated so much."

"NO!" She suddenly snapped and slammed the outfit on the floor. "You know what? I am so sick and tired of this crap! All the time I listen to everything you want to do in bed, yet you never listen to anything I want! I told you I don't wanna be wild anymore, or at least, not as often. Naruto, I know it's my fault that intimacy floods your mind more than it ever did before and while no one is meant to stay innocent forever, I still feel that this could've all been avoided if I just would've said no to sex with you more often... but I never did."

"Didn't you hear me back there? I said I'd kill you and the villagers if you didn't comply with me..."

"Everything I do is to just please you..." The girl ignored him. "The dirty talking, the loud moaning, the skimpy outfits, the crazy positions... I did them all to make YOU happy. Because YOU'RE so eager and energetic. I'm not a freak in the sheets naturally... I just become one when you need me to be because I'm willing to do whatever and anything that makes YOU satisfied, what makes YOU happy. I NEVER think about what I want. I NEVER put myself above you. EVER! You even made me have sex with you outside. OUTSIDE, NARUTO! Even the first time we did it was wild! I wanted it to be more romantic like how it's supposed to be, but no, you wanted to go crazy so I let you go crazy! I let you do whatever you want all the time even if it makes me feel nasty, disgusting, dirty, filthy, trashy, kinky... I do all this because I really freaking like you and I just wanna be the perfect girlfriend..."

"I knew it... you never liked sleeping with me." This actually managed to bother the jinchuuriki.

"That's... not what I meant," Nia denied this. "I do like sleeping with you, but come on, Naruto, let's admit... the sex is way too wild most of the time. I've been patient for months now. I want it to be more romantic and slow. I need to be held more, kissed more, have my hands held more, and just... ugh, sometimes when you just keep getting me to do things so roughly... it just... makes me question... if you actually do love me or not."

"Well, I don't care what you want," The genin narrowed his eyes. "Because you just wasted your chance to live. You pretended like you cared when you just ended up betraying me. I should've never gave you a chance."

"I didn't care about you? Need I remind you, the only reason you're breathing right now is cause I saved your ass! That's right! ME! I gave MY LIFE for YOU! Not only that, but I literally do everything I can for you! I'm always there for you and I always have your back! I'm the one that made the most ridiculous sacrifices and put in the most effort in this relationship! I try to be the best girlfriend I can be, and I constantly... just..."

Nia ran her fingers through her hair as to try and keep herself from getting to stressed out.

"I just try so hard... so damn hard to be an amazing girlfriend. I try so hard to be this perfect person all day everyday despite having everybody in the entire world call me ugly and never good enough! No one really fucking likes me at all and I'm always being insulted behind my damn back yet I still grind my ass off trying to making you feel all good about yourself despite my own setbacks, when in all honesty, I'm damn fed up with you not fully doing your part! I strive so hard for you yet you never do the same for me. I do everything that I can... EVERYTHING AND NO ONE GIVES A DAMN!"

Dark Naruto took a few steps forward until he was a mere inch or two away from the girl as she stood her ground.

"I'm not scared of you," She declared. "Remember the morning after I made my confession? You came up to me apologizing for your mistake of incidentally groping me and for making inappropriate advancements on me and I forgave you. The thing was, after that, I told you something very memorable. I said: "If my hero were to ever fall for me and only me, I'd let him sleep with me whenever he wants." Yep, I said that and I know you remember that from when we were sixteen like TWO YEARS AGO!"

"What about it? You wanted me to do you. Simple as that."

"The point of that is that I've been keeping my promise for two years straight. I've kept my word! I've slept with you every time you asked! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! I meant what I said, but I never thought you'd end up getting so high on it to a point where you would ask multiple times a day! You took complete advantage of it at the expense of my health. Normally, I think most people have it like two times a week or maybe even once a day. I'm exhausted and sore from it. We can work on that aspect of our relationship. You just need to control your excitement, learn to be more gentle and affection and improve how you thrust. That's it."

"You talk as if I care how you feel," The young man replied. "This is about what I want! You deserve that stuff anyway. Especially after you cheat-"

"I DIDN'T CHEAT FOR THE LAST TIME!" This just was making the kunoichi more furious. "You are just really pissing me off right now! Why don't you believe what I'm saying? Why would I ever cheat on you? That's insane! When you're with me I feel like I can take on the world despite everyone thinking awful of me! You're a huge reason why I can endure through an unbearable amount of pain, loneliness, and rejection on a daily basis! I don't give a damn if I seem crazy right now, but it's true! I would've gave up on my life if it weren't for you! You're my hero! I LOVE-"

"SHUT UP!" The blonde hollered before using a chakra tail to ram against Nia and make her collide with the wall before sliding down to the floor and grabbing her injured arm from earlier as it had smashed against it as well. "Let me just remind you who you're messing with."

Grabbing a fistful of her hair, the young man got down on one knee and bent her head back so she was forced to look him in the eye. "Stop thinking I won't hurt you cause I'm in love with you. Nine-Tails is still above you and everyone else. Though I'd prefer to mark you and keep you for my own personal amusement, he doesn't want you alive. However, I was granted a moment with you before I take you down, so don't fight me. You know you can't win."

"Why... aren't you losing control?" The girl pondered as she watched his current one tail flail around. "Don't you lose control when your tails start to appear? And how are you standing upright and as if you're in control?"

"Please, my other half had no affiliation with Nine-Tails like I do. He and I share a bond and a similar view of things so he allows me to use his power when I please and with self-control," Dark Naruto then used one hand to squeeze the kunoichi's right hand and his other to cup her left cheek as it made her warm in the face. He next slowly leaned toward her lips. "Now just start being a good girl and come here..."

"Mmph-" Nia tried not to get excited when the two began lightly kissing before making out. For a while, their tongues danced around the other as Dark Naruto quickly dominated throughout the entire thing before he pulled away and instead pecked the girl on her cheek then down her neck.

Afterward, he traced his claw down her cheek, leaving a small cut on her as he did so. Nia flinched when the blonde lightly grabbed her throat then licked the blood sliding down her cheek. When he tried to get another kiss from her, she turned her head — rejecting him.

The young man only chuckled. "Ah... that's right. I'm being too gentle with you... you want to be dominated, right? Getting rough with you will turn you on, huh?"

"No," She denied.

"Teh, what a lie. You're blushing."

"Okay and? I always blush when my hero gives me affection. I can't help it. I love you."

"Sure you do," Dark Naruto scoffed.

"It's true!"

"Bet you weren't thinking or feeling that when you were getting pummeled by another guy."

"Oh my goodness," The kunoichi rolled her eyes. "You need to snap out of it! You mean to tell me this side of you came out because you think I cheated on you?! That's ridiculous! Me cheating on you is like Kakashi showing what his face looks like to you! It never had or never will happen!"

"I saw you guys kissing... that's more than enough evidence. You betrayed me when this whole time I thought you weren't the type to ever do such a thing. I wasn't lying to you when I said I liked you. I wasn't lying when I told you I think you're pretty or cute or beautiful."

Nia lowered her eyes as she listened.

"And before you start spewing out some nonsense — no, I don't care what any negative thing someone has to say about you. I don't care if everyone thinks you're ugly or not. It's not about what they think, it's about what I think and in my eyes I think you're pretty, Nia! This is like with Sasuke, not everyone agrees he's a good person deep down or that I should continue trying to bring him back, but no matter what anyone says, I'm doing just that and bringing him back where he belongs whether everyone agrees that I should or not, ya know! I'm not easily swayed by other's opinions! I do, think, and pursue what I want!"

Hearing this, the kunoichi slightly smiled.

"You're stubborn as hell... but... I'm extremely grateful you are. Not letting other's opinions easily sway you from what you want, how you see things, or how you feel about a certain thing or person — that takes an amazingly strong person to be able to pull something like that off. I... really admire you for that. My hero is amazing... I love you."

"LIES!" Dark Naruto hissed. "Everything you say are nothing but damn lies! You didn't... you never cared! All you needed me was for validation! Or maybe even-"

"If that were true, I would've for sure went with Akihiko! He gave me attention way before you ever did!"

Taking out a kunai, the blonde held it right at Nia's throat and yanked her head back.

"Just admit it and maybe I'll let you live."

"You know, sex suddenly sounds very appealing to me right now," Nia tried to divert from the subject completely now.

"QUIT WITH THE JOKES!" She only got the sharp object pressed more against her. "I'm not playing games. You tell me right now or I swear I'll kill you right now!"

"I DIDN'T DO IT, NARUTO! IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME THEN JUST KILL ME THEN CAUSE IM NOT LYING TO YOU!"

"Argggh," Dark Naruto gritted his teeth in irritation.

Closing her eyes as she felt it was all over for her, Nia was bewildered when she only got pushed to the ground on her side. She then felt her hair being yanked again and was brought to her feet before having her back crash against the wall. A hand was next wrapped around her throat as she quickly grabbed onto her attacker's arm in a struggle.

"Naruto... l-let go of me!" She struggled to breathe.

"And why should I?" He refused. "To me... you're in the same category as the villagers are now. And to add to that... you're nothing but a filthy, cheating, whore. You threw away EVERYTHING! You... betrayed me, Nia! I cared about you when no one else would! I gave you a shoulder to cry on! I gave you my time and day! I gave you a chance and this is what you decided to do with it?! You're a hypocrite! Saying all that crap about how cheaters are this and that then you turn around and be one yourself. You're disgusting! You deserve the cold treatment from everyone."

With that, he pushed her to her knees.

"If you're not going to kill me, then... What're you gonna do with me?" She asked as the blonde unbottoned his pants and lowered it down a bit.

"I will kill you... but first... deliver up on your promise and make me feel good," Dark Naruto held the kunai above Nia's head. "You were practically sold off to me in exchange for the villagers lives... either you do as I say or... you can die right now along with everyone else. I don't care what you choose. Either choice is pleasant for me."

'That's right, I forgot...' Nia lowered her eyes. 'I'm supposed to be distracting him right now at whatever cost... even if I have to do this sort of thing. But... why does it have to be through this way? I know if he goes out there looking this way, he'll most likely lose the respect and acceptance he's gained from the villagers so far, but still... why do I always end up having to receive a really hard pounding from him?! Why can't we actually have gentle sex for once?! I can't believe this crap! But at the same time... it's not like I can fight him. He's way stronger than me. He can kill me if he really wanted to and besides... even if I were stronger, I could never find it in me to really hurt him. That's still Naruto... What am I gonna do?'

"You made up your mind yet?" The blonde rushed her. "I'm not gonna wait all day for you. Be grateful I'm going to be giving you some love before you die. If you're worried about Nine-Tails, don't worry... he's not watching any of this so don't be shy and open your mouth wide for me, got it?"

"If... I let you do this... will you at least... hold me close to you?" Nia blushed.

Dark Naruto yanked her am and made her stand back up.

"Does that mean you're gonna spread your legs for me?" He cupped her chin.

Trembling, she only replied, "Y-Yes... if you hold me close to you at the very least then... yes, you can do w-whatever you want to do with me, s-sir."

"Good girl..." The genin made a sadistic smile and stroked her cheek. "I'll use you to release all my anger... so be sure not to disobey me or else... now go put on that maid outfit. It's only fitting you wear that — it fits your personality perfectly."

"EXCUSE ME?!"

"Don't make me say it again," He gave a stern warning. "Do you want me to kill you right now? You should feel grateful I got Nine-Tails to let you live a little while longer, ya know."

"F-Fine." Nia groaned, took the outfit, and headed to the bathroom.

"In front of me," She then looked over her shoulder to see the young man pointing at the ground. "Change... in front of me."

"Wha? B-But I can't... that's... incredibly embarrassing and humiliating for me. I don't feel-"

"DAMN IT, JUST DO IT!"

"KYA! Alright, alright!" Nia began stripping herself from her clothing while doing her best to still cover herself as she was too frightened by if the blonde would find her repulsing to look at.

Never once did she make eye contact with him as she stood in her lingerie.

'Ugh... I feel like I'm gonna throw up,' She panicked. 'What if this Naruto doesn't think I'm beautiful. What if he sees me like how everyone else does: Hideous? I'm so scared, I can't even look at him. I can't even stop shaking!'

"What're you waiting for?" The blonde became impatient. "Take your bra and panties off."

"Huh? N-Naruto, no disrespect or anything, but come on... this isn't the time to be having sex. Seriously, get it together and snap out of it! Your friends are out there fighting the enemy. Aren't you worried abou-"

Nia began stripping her lingerie off immediately when Dark Naruto seemed to have been approaching her with a very frustrated and angered expression then just as quickly threw on the outfit he wanted her to wear.

"T-There!" She backed away slowly. "I have it on now. No need to be so angry anymore, okay?"

Satisfied, the genin sat on the edge of his bed, watching as Nia gained the courage to approach him.

"Erm so... do you... like it?" She stood awkwardly in front of him in the erotic maid outfit. She pulled at the skirt that barely covered her private area and with embarrassment tried to cover her breasts that threatened to spill from out the blouse that also happened to be too tight around her chest.

She watched as Dark Naruto scanned her up and down then nervously looked down in fear that he would find her to be extremely unattractive.

"Come here," He ordered her as Nia timidly walked over to the edge of his bed where he was sitting. "Sit down on the open space of my lap with your legs spread to each of my sides."

Obeying, the girl did just that as she trembled and had a hard time making eye contact with the young man.

"Does... this Naruto... find me beautiful, too?" She asked, only to get flipped over to her back and have her wrists pinned over her head.

"Just quit talking and start making me feel good," Dark Naruto was about to pull her blouse down when Nia suddenly broke free from his hold, wrapped her legs around his waist then crossed her arms behind his neck, hugging him.

"What're you doing? Let go," This irritated the genin.

"You let me be alone for the last five days," She talked. "You didn't even stay with me in the hospital while I was sick. I was... lonely and really, really sad about what happened between us."

"And so what if you were? You chea-"

"I didn't cheat on you, honey! I already told you we got set up and fooled! Akihiko isn't even alive! He really was killed! Fuyuka had a clone disguise as him! It's no wonder why I felt it was so strange he knew every wrong thing going on in our relationship! She was reading my mind and then, after you beat that guy nearly to death, he was nowhere to be found after that."

"Kuh!" Dark Naruto's head suddenly throbbed as he lowered it onto the bed next to Nia's head.

"Naruto," She cupped his face when he started to groan as if he were in pain. "What's wrong? Are you okay? Do you need some help?"

The genin slapped her hands away from him and composed himself, lightly choking her as he did so.

"Damn you... you're doing it again!" He grunted. "Get the hell off me!"

Nia held back onto him tightly.

"No! I don't wanna let go!"

"Stop! You have no idea what you're doing! You're gonna send me back! I'm the real one! No way am I gonna go back after finally gaining control! Dammit!"

Struggling, the blonde clawed at Nia's arms in an attempt to get her off him. She winced as he dragged his claws down her skin.

The girl's hand burned as she lifted it up and saw the kanji engraved on it, glowing.

'It's doing it again...' She thought as the light traveled up her arm and healed her wound while steam ascended from out the gash as her skin renewed itself. Once over and done with, the pink light swarmed over her hand only.

"Naruto," The girl then rested that hand on his chest and next shrieked and jumped when the light unexpectedly shrouded him in it.

Moments later, as the glow began to dissipate, the genin slowly made eye contact with the girl once more as she observed that his orbs had been brought back to their original blue color, his fangs became fixed, his claws returned to nails, his whiskers settled to their original, and his hair was back to normal as well.

She gasped when she realized what had happened.

"Naruto! You're back to normal!"

"Hm?" He blinked a few times then looked around. "Erm... wha? What the heck happened? Why is my head throbbing?"

He next glanced down to see the girl underneath him.

"GUAH!" He backed away. "What the hell?! Nia, what're you doing in here?! AND WHAT'S WITH THAT OUTFIT YOU'RE WEARING, YA KNOW?!"

With a shriek, Nia sat up and covered what she could.

"D-Don't stare at me like that!" She was extremely red. "Give me something... to cover myself with, Naruto!"

"I don't get it!" He then looked down to see his pants were at his knees. "OH MAN! DID WE JUST HAVE SEX OR SOMETHING?! WHY IS MY JUNK HANGING OUT?!"

"Erm..." Nia didn't know what to say and looked away shyly.

Naruto jumped up and down while still looking down at his member.

"I don't get it, my balls aren't numb... I always go at it until I can't feel them anymore. Did I not finish or something?"

"Naruto, stop bouncing your dick around like that and pull your pants up already!" Nia felt embarrassed for him and covered her face in her hands. "We didn't have sex!"

"What? We didn't?! Then why are you wearing that skimpy outfit?! Don't even try to tell me this time it's sleepwear cause I won't believe that for a second! I still don't believe you were wearing that other outfit for sleepwear either! You definitely wanted it!" He pointed at her.

"Listen, it's a long story, so- KYA! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING, NARUTO?!" The kunoichi turned into stone when she turned her head to look at the blonde.

"What? We're about to do it, right?" He was jerking off. "Besides, that outfit looks amazing, Nia..."

"R-Really?" This momentarily made the girl feel flattered and timid. "You really... like it, Naruto?"

"It's sexy."

For a second, she smiled to herself before realizing what was happening.

"H-Hold on! Don't try to sway me into having sex! Quit beating your meat and pull your pants up, Naruto."

"Okay, fine..." He did as told. "But look, it's just pushing against it..."

Nia sweat-dropped as she noticed that.

"You're hard already..."

"Yeah..."

Everything became rather awkward before Naruto was starting to regain his memory of things. When it did, all the emotions he was feeling had once more resurfaced.

"Wait, hold on... why are you here?" He became perturbed. "Last time I remember, you cheated on me."

"Please don't start with this again," The kunoichi hopped off the bed. "Just... lemme explain."

"Explain? Are you kidding me?! I saw what I saw, Nia."

"Naruto-"

"No, get out," He demanded. "I see what happened... you came in here dressed like that so you can win me back. It's not going to work! I'm not taking you back."

"Naruto, for crying out loud, you were set up!" Nia told him.

"Set up? What the hell are you talking about?"

"Listen, we're all in danger right now. Remember Fuyuka? Yeah, she disguised herself using a clone as Akihiko and forced herself on me while pretending to be him in order to give you the impression I was cheating on you and to create darkness within your heart. It's no wonder why I was overpowered. It wasn't him to begin with. Being as she could read minds, she knew damn well you were approaching the room I was in and did her messed up plan."

"What?! No, you can't be serious. I still saw you two kissing, ya know!"

"Akihiko is dead, Naruto! He never even made it! It was all a freaking lie! Besides, I was pushing him... or her off me and when you came around, the angle you were facing must've made it seem like I was returning the kiss when it was the complete opposite!"

"Nia!" He grabbed the girl's arms. "I swear if you're lying-"

"I'm not lying..." She told him.

Naruto gritted his teeth.

"Nia, be serious with me! Did you or did you not cheat on me?!"

"I didn't cheat, Naruto!" She kept saying over and over. "Have some more faith in me! I understand your reasoning for being upset about what you saw, but c'mon, have I really ever gave you a reason to not trust what I'm telling you? I didn't do it."

Distressed, the ninja turned away, lowered his head, crossed his left arm around his body and used it to support his right elbow as he squeezed the bridge of his nose. Seconds later, Nia watched as tears fell to the ground and heard as the blonde began to sob though it seemed he was trying his best to stifle  the sound.

"I don't... even know w-what to believe,"  She listened to what Naruto had to say. "I saw one thing and y-you're telling me another thing."

"I honestly... don't blame you for feeling the way you do. I would act the same exact way if the tables were to be turned. It's hard to believe what someone is telling you when you believe you saw what went down. If... you don't believe me, Naruto... then you have every right to stick to your opinion. The thing is though... no matter what you think or believe, the truth of the matter is that... I didn't cheat on you. You can either choose to believe me... or not." Nia was beginning to cry as well though silently with a hint of pain in her tone.

Naruto didn't reply.

Nia just added, "You always say you have faith in what your friends tell you, but I guess... that doesn't apply to me. I'm honestly just... disappointed and extremely hurt that you feel I can't be trusted. I thought... we had a bond that was much stronger than that."

"You're right..." The blonde clenched his fist. "I do believe in the words of those close to me... I just..."

The girl waited for him to continue.

"I've just been... terrible to you," Naruto next spoke. "I've been selfish... and damn right insensitive to you and your needs. I'm so... sorry for believing you betrayed me. It felt like a huge slap in the face for me — I realized everything I've done wrong in this relationship in that instant I saw another guy trying to steal you away from me. I realized... that I had took you and everything you've done for me for granted. It crushed me to have felt that you grew so tired or frustrated at me to a point of cheating. I felt like I had carelessly dropped a very rare and beautiful diamond into a pile of mud and manure. It was one of the worst feelings I ever felt in my life, ya know?"

Without wasting anymore time, Nia turned him around and wrapped her arms around his neck then used one hand to lightly push against the back of his head to her shoulder as to comfort him while she rested her head against that of his own.

"I... I'm sorry," She then heard the ninja whimper. "I'm sorry, Nia."

Nia only responded by rubbing his back and staying close to him.

"The last few days felt like hell to me, ya know? I lost the motivation to do much of anything. It literally felt like my whole world just came crashing down. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I couldn't train, I didn't wanna leave my room... I felt miserable. The others tried talking to me, but... to me, it was like their voices were just being drained out. I didn't know what the hell to do."

Nia kissed him on the cheek then resumed hugging him.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all that. I was trying to talk with you, but... you didn't wanna do so with me. And... I felt really horrible too. I'd be lying if I said I didn't ball my eyes out each day. I wasn't crying for myself a lot of the time though... I was extremely emotional because I was thinking of how you must've felt seeing all that and thinking what you did. My heart was breaking for you."

"You must... really hate me or something right now, huh?" Naruto sniffled.

"It's true that I am frustrated and even upset, but... everyone makes mistakes. I try to be the most damn perfect girlfriend, but... I do make occasional mistakes also. Like I said, I don't... blame you for raging over seeing another guy kiss me... I would've done the same thing if it were the other way around. "Of course. I'm just glad we managed to sort this whole thing out. I'm so relieved," The kunoichi wiped a tear from her eye then sniffled.

"Listen, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but... we should save the rest of this talk for later. It sounds like there's fighting going on outside. What's happening out there?" Naruto used his sleeve to wipe his tear-stained face then used his thumbs to wipe Nia's away too.

Nia took a moment to get herself together then replied. "Like I said earlier, Fuyuka was here in the hopes of tainting your light so it'd be easier for her to draw out your tailed beast. She's also here to kill off all those who has a certain tie with you."

"But isn't she part of the Akatsuki now though? Why would she be trying to kill me when they need to capture me alive first?"

"I don't really think she's a member. I feel like she's just associating with them in order to get what she wants easier. Last encounter, she told me she just wants the nine-tails power for her own use."

"Teh, same old same old, huh?" The genin was annoyed as he then slammed his fist into an open palm. "Fine then, I'll just beat her down like I did last time, ya know?"

"Yeah," Nia nodded and headed toward the open window.

Naruto pulled her arm.

"No," He told her. "You're staying here."

"What?" The girl looked over her shoulder. "No, I'm going with you."

"No you're not."

"Yes I am."

"No."

"Yes."

"Nia," Naruto gripped her arms. "Cut it out. I made my decision. I need to focus and having you there with me is just gonna distract me. The only way you can beat that chick is by fighting without thinking, right? Just think about it, if you're there, my mind will only be thinking about protecting you and if Fuyuka catches wind of that, what do you think she'll do to turn the tables around."

"Really?" The girl looked up at him timidly.

"Of course," He pushed her head back against his chest. "But Nia, let me go now. The village is in danger."

"..." She didn't budge.

"Nia."

"..."

Nothing.

Naruto sighed. "Nia, let go please."

"I don't wanna..." She wouldn't comply.

"Listen, this is gonna have to wait. The village is in trouble. I don't wanna get upset with you, so please-"

"I'm scared!" She suddenly admitted.

"Hm? Scared of what?" The young man replied.

"Of what... could happen if you go out to face her. She managed to taint your light two or three times now and each time, all you wanna do is hurt someone or hurt me even. It's hard to get you back in your right mind. I can't bear to see you in the state you were in. I'm always scared for you."

"You're worried about that?"

"Of course," Nia held tighter onto him. "Please just stay here with me and just let the other guys handle it or let me go with you... I'm not gonna let go of you unless it's either or."

"And you call me stubborn," The ninja breathed heavily then said. "Alright, alright, I can't let you get hurt, so I'll leave it to everyone else. You happy now?"

"Mhm." The girl nodded.

Naruto cupped her face in his hands.

"Here, give me a kiss," He ordered as Nia did as told and the two locked lips.

However, as they did, Naruto raised his palms over her ears then quickly made a sign as a clone appeared out of thin air and since Nia's hearing was being covered, she didn't hear as that happened and as that clone slipped out of the room using the window in order to head to the battlefield. When all was over, the genin pulled away and allowed her to continue being in his arms.

"I missed being held like this..." Nia submerged herself in the warmth and comfort while Naruto made sure she wouldn't turn around to see the clone heading off.

'Hopefully, I gave it enough of my strength to keep its ground,' He thought. 'There's no way I can just stay here when there's a threat, but at the same time, I can't just let Nia go with me. She'll obviously be targeted and possibly get hurt! Besides, she's gonna follow me anyway! Sending the clone was my only option!'

"Naruto?" The blonde was snapped out of his thoughts as he made eye contact with Nia.

"What is it?"

"Does this whole thing mean... that... I can still... be your... girlfriend?"

"Eh? No way. I don't want you to be my girlfriend. You can't be my girlfriend, Nia."

Immediately, Nia's hopeful expression fell as she then started sobbing and covered her face in her hands.

Flinching as she made her way over to him, Naruto squeezed his eyes shut and placed his arm over his head as he was expecting to get the wind knocked out of him. Instead, he was caught off guard when he felt her wrap her arms around his neck again and kiss his cheek.

"I-I-I'm s-so g-g-glad," She started crying hysterically. "My h-he-hero s-sti- WAAAAAAAAAH! AHHHH HA HAAAH! Waaaaaaah!"

I really do apologize."

"Naruto, I'm being serious. You can tell me if anything is bothering you about me. Don't be afraid."

"Naruto... thank you," She kissed his cheek and grinned. "That really makes me feel so happy. I really am trying my best with all this."

"Yeah, I know. Trust me." The genin stroke her cheek. "So uh... you said your main problem with me was the sex... right?"

Nia nodded, though ashamedly so.

"Y-Yes," She admitted. "We've talked about this before... I'd really like for you to be more gentle and try to fight your urges when you can. It's not very good to be having sex so much in one day or even in a week. Let's maybe start doing something like once in the morning when we wake up and another time before we go to sleep and see how that goes, alright honey?"
