Okay, so I've been keeping something to myself for a fairly long time. I mean like since maybe near the end chapters of my first Naruto book, and I just wanna share something with you guys that I personally am feeling very iffy about in regards to a certain amount of you all who read my story.

Before I get right on into it, I just wanna make one thing clear: By no means do I wanna come across as a bitch or whiny or just anything negative with what I have to say, but I just feel this needs to be addressed NOW. I care for and appreciate all my readers, but just like how a few of you can get upset with me sometimes, I can feel a bit disappointed with some of you at times as well.

So... here are the type of readers I wanna address this too: SILENT READERS

Okay, so I already feel like I'm getting a few eye rolls by some of you, but let me explain. So normally I tend to always ignore this issue and just appreciate the fact that you guys are even reading this story and that a few of you are kind enough to spare some time out of your day to comment and vote.

However, just recently, as I was editing on the next chapter, I clicked off to go onto the website version of this and check on my stats and stuff for this book and my first Naruto book. I haven't checked it in a hot minute so I was curious as to who was reading and what chapters were being well received and all that other jazz.

So... the thing that... not even gonna lie, hurt me, was when I saw the amount of silent readers I have. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF YOU! Now, the number can change depending on whether or not people continue reading the story, so it fluctuates a lot I guess, but still... the fact that like maybe less than 10-20 take the time out of your day to tell me your thoughts on certain chapters when there is well over at least 100... or even hundreds of you who doesn't want to show your appreciation, support, or love for anything I write in any way, shape, or form is honestly depressing as hell.

Like, I was looking like this when I realized how many of you neglect to give any sort of feedback or whatever thought or reaction you may have toward my chapters or legit don't even give a thought as to at least giving it a star.

Like dang, I feel like Stewie from family guy when he worked hard to make that picture for Peter and Lois only to have them insult and spit on it LOL 🤣🤣🤣😭

That's how silent readers are making me feel cause I work hard as hell on these chapters for you all when I could be doing something else but y'all never wanna show me any type of reaction toward it sadly. I soldier through the intense cringe I have for this fanfic and still write it so it can be completed and make you guys smile or laugh. And hopefully I'm not being mean when I say this, but this also goes for the people who literally only just say "good chapter" or "please update" like what did you like about the chapter? Add something more to that.

It's like if you worked really hard on a handmade gift for someone or you decorated a room for someone and they just tell you "It's good." Then left it at that. Like hoooooold up, tell me what you think about the paint I used for the walls? How do you like the rugs or the sheets on your bed? Did you notice the type of tv I gave you? Like c'mon lol please add some substance to what you comment. One word or a lazy one sentence comment is very frustrating cause it doesn't help me to improve what I write at all.

If you have any reaction at all to what a character says or does, just comment your reaction.

Like example: if Sai made you laugh when he be flaming Naruto, highlight that part and at the very least just put: "Lmao, lol" or even just "😂😂😂"

That makes me smile. If a character is pissing you off... comment about it lol just make sure to censor any swear words you may have so I can reply to you and so your comment doesn't get blocked or deleted by Wattpad. If something made you feel sad, say something about it. If a moment is extremely cute to you, tell your thoughts please.

Please try to be a bit more thoughtful before you skim through the whole chapter and be like, "Welp, let me click out of here without voting at the very least even though the button is right there and not tell author-chan that this part made me laugh or I didn't like how so and so did this or that. There are other people who can share their thoughts so I'm just gonna stay here in the shadows and cross my fingers that she'll still want to write for all of us who couldn't care less about giving our opinion or critic on anything."

*sigh* I sound like a bitch rn even though I'm not trying to, but dang I feel like some of y'all do me dirty when I try to make something enjoyable for you all to read whether you're in school, on break during work, at home, or just wherever but y'all just straight up ignore everything. Now, of course no one's forcing me to write. I do enjoy writing this even though it's just Fanfiction and I'll continue to write this whether or not people wanna read.

I don't wanna make this into a big deal bc I know none of you guys are obligated to do any of this, but dang, show your girl some love lol not every chapter I write is easy. Some chapters spans out for days while others take less than a couple hours. I put way more thought into these things and now I've brought back pics and gifs to make the story seem more real or whatever and just searching and editing those is a handful in on itself. Either way, I just feel so disrespected when you silent readers don't wanna introduce yourself or expect me to not get frustrated when you don't wanna say anything or do anything to show your support or appreciation. Like nothing?!

Now I'm not one of those people who freaking hold their story hostage until readers give them a certain amount of reads, comments, or vote, but dang... I feel mad disrespected and salty even. Like geesh... out of the hundreds of you who read my story... only less than 30 of you wanna show your love? That cuts deep no lie. That's like a singer having millions of fans, but only a hundred of them buys their albums and supports them. That's petty lol

And that's not the only thing. Only a FEW of you actually answer the three questions at the end of each chapter. Maybe I'm just super annoying with them lol, but I don't ask those questions just to ask them. I ask them so I can improve this story and try to understand you guys' point of view of things. The very least a lot of you can do, if you don't wanna comment on the scenes itself, is state what you're favorite part of the chapter was or the line that was said you liked best. Give your honest answer, please give some thought into it and not say "everything" (this one irks me cause it's lazy) and please don't make it look like you just copied someone else's favorite part cause you don't want to think about it.

Now some of you just forget and that's understandable, but what's the point of me asking for some feedback when close to none of you actually wanna give your two cents in? Don't you want your voice to be heard?

Like, there are some comments that be swaying me from the original plan.

EXAMPLE: Remember that time Nia confessed on that chapter when she was all like, "Naruto, please sleep with me! The spiders scare me!" Then Naruto got the wrong idea 😂😂 But they ended up kissing by the end of the chapter for the first time?

Yeah... THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN! The original plan was to have him reject her and keep her in the friendzone for god knows how long. Nia would probably have stopped liking him and she'd just be friendzone so much to a point where she would prolly get sick of him and keep contact with him every now and then but would leave to be with Akihiko eventually.

THAT WAS THE PLAN! Akihiko x Nia! Naruto x Hinata! Don't believe me? Spoiler alert for my Gohan story readers: the oc in that story doesn't end up with him. She eventually falls for someone else and Gohan still ends up with Videl.

BUTTTTT due to you guys' strong feelings to NaruNia and when you gave me your insight on why they should be together or how Naruto could return Nia's feelings so passionately and so full of actual sense... I was like, "Dang, maybe they are right? Maybe he could end up liking her? Maybe Nia could grow on him over time?" And BAM! I found a way to get those two together in a reasonable fashion.

YOUR COMMENTS AND FEEDBACK DID THAT! You changed the whole dang story from what I originally intended it for it to be. That's why I said y'all got lucky on the chapter they kissed lol

So... now that you know I give thought to my readers' opinions of things: why not bother to share your thoughts? Your comment can eventually be the reason why I make the final decision to have Naruto and Nia stay together, why they break up, why Naruto ends up with Hinata or Sakura, or why Nia ends up with someone else or be alone.

Even though I make the final decision, I see this as a partnership. We in this whole thing together till this fanfic ends. I wanna talk to you guys, but how am I gonna do that if I don't even know you exist? Say hi. The people in the comment sections are relatively very friendly and funny too.

As long as you're not being rude, everything is fine. I'm not gonna get annoyed if you comment every line, I'm not gonna get mad if you share your critic about something as long as you're being respectful about it, I'm not gonna lash out on you if you're not understanding something and will do my best to answer questions that won't lead to a spoiler. I'm not gonna get all offended if you got a problem with Nia or NaruNia - just state why you're not feeling her or them in a polite manner.

In my SIX PLUS years of being on here, I never thought it would bother me like how it is now, but golly, that many people choosing to just be a silent reader for no good reason is just a low blow. I have to address this to you all cause I'm not gonna lie, at times, it makes me stall or procrastinate on a chapter and even makes me question "why the heck am I putting so much time into this chapter when only a few people are gonna give feedback and when I can be doing something more important right now with my time?" And thus, a few times, I neglect on finishing a chapter till like way after it should've been out.

Now, I am definitely not entitled to anything and you guys like I said before aren't obligated to share your thoughts or whatever, but I must admit that I find it VERY VERY VERRRRYYYY motivating when I see you guys putting in the effort to let me know just how into the story you are or just giving your feedback in general whether it may be good or negative (and if it is negative, please be respectful in your critique of things as I've already mentioned. I don't get offended at all unless you're being a douche about it.)

Again, I'm not typing all this cause I'm pissed at you guys, I honestly just feel disappointed or disrespected a little bc of this whole thing. Part of this is that I'm trying to understand what it is that makes you silent readers not wanna engage in the comment section or just with me in general.

Do I come across as mean? Are you shy? Do you feel you opinion on something doesn't matter or won't be helpful? Was a particular chapter just trash? Do you feel I'll ignore your comments? I've had people say they actually feel intimated by me bc of the reads I have or the amount of followers I gained over the years, so could it be that? Some of you just don't have an account and that's fine, but Idk, but let me just say something.

Even though I do get a lot of notifications in a day, even if you blow it up with comments and votes, I'm not gonna be annoyed with it lol it's actually the complete opposite. Imma be like "yaaay" ☺️ and Ik some of you may not wanna comment cause you feel there's already some comments in a chapter you feel are a lot, but even if you think that, I'd still love to hear from you. I may not always be able to reply immediately, but I do try my best to reply when I can and thank you guys for your responses.

Another thing is that, if any of you decide to stop reading for whatever reason, it'd be very awesome if you could just message me privately and state your reason as to why you're not interested in continuing in a respectful manner. Some people may not want to read cause they don't like that NaruSaku hasn't happened, some may stop cause they want more adventure or action, some may think the lemons are too extra and wild lol or they may just not like the concept of the story in general. Just whatever it is, I'd like to hear from you.

In all honesty, if I had to choose between receiving a lot of comments or a lot of votes: I'd choose comments every single time.

While I do absolutely appreciate those of you who always vote on each chapter (it's better than nothing) My goal isn't to have it be the best fanfic of all time, it's to have readers who generally like what I write, to just express themselves in the comment sections.

So for me personally: Comments > Votes (though both would be great)

Now with the demographics for this story...

So, I'm not surprised that most people who read this story are girls. That was to be expected. I mean, c'mon, lol that needs no explanation. HOWEVER, there is a decent percentage of you readers who are MALE, but I've only ever heard from less than FIVE of you throughout the entirety of me writing my two books! It would be AMAZING to know your view of things cause its 9x out of 10 different from how us females see everything.

Most girls who reads this empathize with Nia's side of things cause she's a girl, but you guys who reads this tend to give your opinion in defense of Naruto's side of things cause he's a dude lol Like I NEED more of you guys to share your thoughts for this very reason. If you're not comfortable commenting, just PM me and give your personal input of things so I can get a better perspective of what you're noticing. I'm a girl, so not all the time am I gonna catch up on some things that you dudes tend to notice is a problem.

Anyway, I think I've gotten everything off my chest. I'm sorry if I came across as an ass, but I needed to get this chip off my shoulder cause I just have been carrying it since the first book and my patience have ran out unfortunately. Again, I'm not expressing anger toward you all, just expressing disappointment in the silent readers or the people who rarely want to show any meaningful support or appreciation, cause I'd be lying if I said your lack of support means nothing to me and that I feel like updating fast af and putting all the extra effort into these chapters more than necessary for those who don't seem to care about making the extra effort to regularly share their thoughts and at least tell me they appreciate something yet just keep reading this book for their own benefit almost selfishly.

Again, you're not obliged to doing any of this, but some of y'all make me feel like you petty and do me dirty tbh 😂😭

Welp, I love the crap out of writing so that's what I'm gonna keep doing cause I'm a lowkey addict over it, but please don't blame me for feeling a bit salty over silent readers cause I really do exhaust myself bringing you all quality 5,000-10,000 word chapters pretty often only to have most of you take everything I do for y'all for granted.

I'm sorry if I made some of you think negative of me after this and I apologize if I've offended anybody, but this really did needed to be addressed. Love you all still and I thank you all for even reading the story whether you are a silent reader or not cause at the end of the day, without you all, my fanfics would be nothing ❤️ goodnight
