(Few days later)

Vasil was sleeping until an aroma woke him up. He saw in the kitchen, the Genius of the Sky cooking some food. Io turned around to see Vasil getting up.

Io: good morning, Vasil-kun

Vasil: morning, the smell woke me up; it smells good there

Io: oh you're gonna love what I'm cooking, so you just relax there

Vasil: alright

The Vulture was checking Io out as her back was turned. He was looking at her toned legs before going up to her THICC bottom.

Vasil's mind: wow

Io slightly turned to see where Vasil was staring, she smirked and blushed. To tease him, Io did a little shake which cause Vasil to stumble back.

Vasil: I wasn't looking!

Io giggled and she turned off the stove as she finished cooking. The Genius of the Sky went to the living room and sat down next to him.

Io: Vasil-kun, where are you taking me for our date?

Vasil: I don't know, it's a toss up between the beach or a picnic at the park

Io: I leave it up to you

Vasil: coin toss!

He took out a coin from his pocket and tossed in the air before catching it.

Vasil: heads for the beach and tails for the park

Vasil removed his hand and the coin landed on heads.

Vasil: heads! Beach date!

Io: oh wonderful, because I have a swimsuit and I really want to wear it

Io leaned closer and whispered in his ear.

Io: you will sweat from the heat, and it won't be from the sun

Io giggled as Vasil went wide eyed.

Vasil: okay, let's go eat?

Io: yes, I hope you like the hash brown and omelette

The two went to eat their breakfast while they talked about their wrestling careers. After breakfast, they prepared for their date at the beach. Knowing they'll be there for a good couple of hours, Vasil cooked a lot of food for the two of them. Meanwhile, in her bedroom, Io looked through her baggage for her swimsuit, which turned out to be a two piece. Io held the top and looked at it with a blushing grin.

Io: Vasil-kun, you're gonna melt, and it won't be from the sunlight

She giggled and put it in her beach bag. Io changed into a beach dress while she was wearing her sunglasses and hat. She saw Vasil wearing a tank top and beach shorts; she was at awe of his muscular arms. However, she snapped out of her fantasy as Vasil turned around.

Vasil: someone is ready to go

Io: you like my dress?

Vasil: you look cute in it

She blushed and smiled.

Vasil: well I cooked our lunch, and it's safe in this basket, so ready to go?

Io: let's go!

She dragged him by the arm as they left the hotel room to go into their rental car. Vasil steadily drove off from the parking lot to the main road. As the Vulture focused his attention on the road, Io was looking at him as she thought to herself.

Io's mind: I want to tell him how I feel, but I'm scared he's gonna reject me

While Vasil's eyes were on the road, he thought to himself.

Vasil's mind: Io is very very cute, but how will I tell her my true feelings?

After 10 to 15 minutes of driving, Vasil parked along a white sandy beach. There were some people, but not that much so the two can have some private time to themselves. As Vasil set up, Io took out her phone to take some selfies. The Vulture looked to see the Genius of the Sky taking pictures and he smiled while he was at awe of her beauty.

Io: Vasil-kun, come take some pictures with me!

Vasil: sure, let's make the fans go crazy

Vasil got behind Io and she took multiple shots. The last shot was the cherry on top as it was Io placing a kiss on Vasil's cheek. As Io put her phone away, Vasil was still shocked and surprised by her sudden kiss.

Vasil: what was that?

Io: hmm?

Vasil: you kissed me

Io felt her cheeks getting hot and she instantly covered them with her hands, so that Vasil won't see the blushing red color.

Io: uh, I'm gonna change into my swimsuit!

She rushed off to a changing tent; Vasil had a confused look, but at the same time he smirked.

In the changing tent, Io put on her swimsuit as she neatly folded her dress and put it in her bag.

Io: Vasil-kun, prepare yourself...

She giggled and exited the changing tent as she went back to her and Vasil's spot. She saw Vasil putting the umbrella on the ground and set the basket as a weight to prevent the towel from flying.

Io: Vasil-kun

Vasil: Io-san, I just finished setting-

As he turned around, he was shocked and nearly had a nosebleed as right in front of him was Io Shirai in a two piece swimsuit. 

His reaction was exactly like Kakashi from Naruto.

Io: do you like it?

Vasil: u-uh...

He cleared his throat.

Vasil: i-it looks good on you

Io: aww, thank you, so you wanna swim?

Vasil: yeah, just let me take my tank top out first

As the Vulture took out his shirt, Io couldn't help but admire his tones six pack abs; she put her hands on her cheeks as she blushed. She shook her head as Vasil turned around.

Vasil: let's go?

Io: okay!

The Genius of the Sky dashed off to the water.

Vasil: hey, wait for me!

The Vulture chased after her.

The two had fun in the cooling water along with the usual who holds their breath underwater for a long time contest.

Then there was a sight that made Vasil reacted with awe. He watched Io coming up from the water and flipped her hair as she reflected against the sun.

Vasil's mind: she looks like an angel

Io saw Vasil looking at her, and she giggled.

Io: Vasil-kun, are you okay?

She waved her hand in front of his face, but no response. She then splashed water in his face, and it was enough for Vasil to snap out of his trance.

Vasil: huh what?

She giggled and pinched his cheek.

Io: you're so cute when you're lost

Vasil smirked.

Io: I'm hungry, let's eat

Vasil: you read my mind

They went back to their spot and ate their lunch. As Vasil ate and admired the scenery, Io saw his free hand near her.

Io's mind: it's now or never

Io gathered up her courage and put her hand on top of Vasil's hand. The Vulture felt her touch and turned to see Io all blushing and smiling.

Io: Vasil-kun, I want to confess something to you

Vasil: yes?

Io: ever since you came to NXT, I started to have a crush on you

Vasil's eyes widened in surprise.

Io: every time I see you walking around the arena, I couldn't help but blush

Vasil smiled and chuckled. Then Io confessed.

Io: Vasil-kun, I-I like you

His jaw dropped and Io scooted closer and laid her head on his shoulder. Vasil smiled and embraced her.

Vasil: Io-san, I... I feel the same way, you're beautiful, cute and badass

Io smiled.

Vasil: I like you too, Io

With their feelings now mutual, Io went on to plant another kiss on his cheek.

They spent another good 3 hours at the beach before they went back to their hotel room.

(At the hotel room)

Io: I had fun today

Vasil: glad you enjoyed it; uh Io-san?

Io: yes?

Vasil: c-can we do this another time?

Io smirked.

Io: are you asking me out on another date?

Vasil nodded.

Io: aww, I will love another date with you; you know, I enjoyed being with you

Io said as she pinched his cheek.

Io: I'm gonna go sleep now, good night Vasil-kun

She kissed him once more on the cheek before she went to her bedroom and closed the door. Vasil raised his arms as he laid down as he looked forward for NXT and another date with Io Shirai.
