Mumbai is a city of dreams, they say. People come here to make their careers, and to live the dreams that they have woven with open eyes. This beautiful city is home to such souls - - Viren and Bulbul Raichand. They have been individual and lonely souls all through their life, but they have found best friends in each other. Now, after a long span of twenty years, they have turned to soul mates, and have formed a small family of their own. They are not only friends or husband and wife to one another, but now, they are parents to a fifteen years old boy, whom they have named Yash Raichand. He's a bundle of joy to his parents.

Viren Raichand is a self made businessman. All that, he has achieved, is all because of his hard work and passion to become an ace Businessman, someday. In all his ups and downs, Bulbul has been by his side, like his caste shadow. All that they have now, is a proof of their hard-work, passion and togetherness, obviously.

Bulbul is a Fashion Designer, who owns a boutique. But, along with the boutique, she helps Viren in his work too. They may have chosen different paths, but they walk on the path of life together. It's been 16 years since their wedding, and they have never looked back. They are happy in their life, with their son.

It's a fine day in Raichand Mansion, Bulbul is in the kitchen, making breakfast for her husband and son. Though, she has full time house help, yet she prepares food herself. She lets the housemaid help her in raw materials, but she cooks it herself. She is preparing  Poha and coffee for herself and Viren, while there's chocolate milkshake for her son. She sets the dining table and calls for Viren and Yash, her son. The trio sit for breakfast, when Bulbul breaks the silence.

"Viren! Aaj tum ghar  jaldi aa jana. Mujhe derr ho jayegi." she says.

"Han Bulbul, I'll check it. Aaj ek project ka closure hain, toh maybe, main jaldi free ho jaunga." Viren says while sipping his coffee.

"Han please! I have rehearsals to deal with, aur main nahi chahti, Yash zyada derr tak akele rahe ghar mein." Bulbul says.

"Oh! Mom! I'm big enough. Aap itni chinta mat karo. Main manage kar lunga. Savita Kaki hongi na!" Yash speaks up.

"Han! Mujhe pata hai tum bade ho gaye ho! Par mujhe toh chinta hogi na!!" Bulbul looks at her son.

"Relax Bulbul! Is baar kuch nahi hoga!" Viren assures her of something.

"Haan Maa! Kuch nahi hoga! We'll fight it, right Dad?" yash says glancing at his father.

"Yes Son!! See, he knows it. Now you don't worry!" Viren says looking at his wife.

Bulbul smiles lightly, no moment is dull with both the father and son around her. Yeah, she is scared about some incident that took place some time back. All of it was done by Viren's rivals. Since, Viren didn't agree to their way of working, they tried to look through their house, also attacked Viren and Yash. It makes Bulbul more scared, and she doesn't want anything to happen to either her husband or son. Viren assures her and Viren and Bulbul leave for their workspaces. She instructs Yash to be home, as he has holidays from school, and will only go for his classes with a well known institute.

She smiles and after her husband assures her, she is relaxed. Her trance is broken by a touch on her hand. She looks up only to find her son holding her hand.

"Relax Mom! I'll be fine. Aur aap hi kehti ho na, ki jab tak hum koi cheez karenge nahi, seekhenge kaise !!" Yash says, acting mature than his age.

Bulbul glances at Viren who smiles at her. She knows all of this is taught by Viren to their son. She again looks at her son.

" And mistake hamari nahi un logon ki hai. So don't worry! You know na, all we do is for good!" yash says.

Bulbul nods her head affirmatively. She knows Yash is trying to comfort her as she is worried for them. After all, she's a wife and mother and her heart longs to see  both the father and son fine. She pulls Yash in a hug and sniffs his forehead. Soon after, they have their breakfast and Bulbul and Viren leave for their respective offices. Yash stays back as he has a friend coming over.

The day passes in a blur. Viren comes back home and finds Yash in the living area. He sits beside him.

"How was your day, Son?" Viren asks.

"Was good, Papa. How was your day?" Yash asks his father while he fetches water for him.

"I am done with my project. Aur Haan jo tumhe details chahiye, wo bhi ready hai." Viren says while looking at her son, who hugs him.

Yash is glad, his father is ready to give him his project details for his school project. There are things he needs to understand. And for it, he needs his father by his side.

" Tomorrow is Sunday. We will discuss tomorrow. Okay dad?" Yash asks.

"Yes beta! We will. Acha, did your mom call?" Viren asks.

"Mom called at 6. She said that she will be late. I'll make coffee for you." Yash says looking at Viren.

"Coffee maine bana di hai. Viren beta, tum haath muh dho lo." savita kaki says.

Viren nods and moves to his room to freshen up. Yash also moves to freshen up and both father and son come back after some time. They begin to relish their coffee and begin talking. Viren checks the time, it's almost 8 PM. He picks his phone to call Bulbul and there is a call from Bulbul herself.

Bulbul is on her way home, but her car breaks down. She is stuck at the moment. She calls Viren who is set to pick her, but she asks him to wait at home and ask the mechanic to pick her car. It's near a park, which comes on her way to hospital. Viren agrees and calls his known mechanic. Bulbul walks to hire a taxi. As she is walking, she hears baby cries. She looks around but there is no one. She moves forward, when baby cries get louder. She tries to listen to the source of the voice, and finds it coming from the park. She enters the park, and finds a baby girl crying on a bench. She looks around but doesn't find anyone around. She picks the baby girl of a  few months in her arms trying to pacify her. The girl calms down, getting the warmth.

Bulbul looks at her, the little one is sleeping peacefully in her arms. But there is no one around. She looks around, but there is no one, so did someone leave the little girl here? How can a parent be so cruel?? Bulbul decides to take a little girl home. She moves out of the Park, purchases some baby things like diapers, baby food and clothes too. After that, she hires a taxi for home.

She enters the house only to find her husband and son waiting for her.

"Maa, You're late."yash rushes to hug her,but stops when he finds a little baby in her arms.

" Ye bachi? Kaun hai ye, mom? " yash asks, though his eyes are on the little girl.

" Haan Bulbul, kaun hai ye?? "Viren asks.

" Ye bachi mujhe Park mein mili , jahan meri car kharab hui. Koi nahi tha aas paas, toh main isey yahan le aayi! " Bulbul tells the two men.

" Haan par, iske parents? " Viren asks.

" Pata nahi. Koi parents apne bachi ko aise kyun chodenge Viren? Maine dekha koi nahi tha wahan! " Bulbul says as she sits on the couch.

" We'll try to contact police, wo zaroor iske parents ko dhundh lenge." Viren says.

" But she's so cute! Kitni chotu si hai! " yash exclaims.

" chote babies aise hi hote hain, tum bhi toh they! " Bulbul says with a smile.

"Oh yes! But mujhe isey goad mein lena hain! Please!"  Yash asks his mom.

"Abhi nahi, jab yeh uthegi tab. Until then hum dinner karte hain." Bulbul says.

Yash makes a face but agrees. Bulbul makes her way in the room and places the little girl in the middle of the bed. She covers her with a duvet and places the cushions around her. Then she moves to freshen up and change. Twenty minutes later, she comes out, the girl is sleeping. She moves out to have dinner. They talk about their days and after winding up her work, she moves into her room.

She finds both Viren and Yash on the bed. Viren is checking his mobile, while Yash is stroking the girl's head gently. Bulbul sits on the bed, and Yash rolls on his back, keeping his head on his mom's lap. Bulbul is astonished.

"Ye kya hua?" Bulbul rolls her eyes.

"Mujhe bhi yahin sona hain, is chotu si gudiya ke paas." Yash chuckles.

"Par hum  sab yahan nahi so sakte na!" Bulbul reasons.

"But mujhe yahin sona hain. Papa can sleep on the couch." Yash says at which Bulbul giggles, but Viren eyes his son.

"Tum so jao couch pe!" Viren says non-chalantly.

"You will go there!" yash says teasingly.

"No! You're here, son. So, make your own place." Viren says, irked by his son's words.

"Viren utho!!" Bulbul says.

"What! Tum bhi! Main kahin nahi ja raha!!" Viren declares.

"Arey! Tum dono baap bete ek jaise ho! Puri baat toh suna karo." Bulbul says, slapping her own forehead.

Yash and Viren glance at her,as she asks Viren to get her shopping bag from the living room and asks them to wait outside. The little girl is awake and has started to cry now. Maybe she needs a change and she is hungry too. Both the father and son make a face but do as directed.

Bulbul gives a sponge bath to the baby girl, changes her dress and feeds her some food. The little girls begin to chuckle after getting the food. Bulbul calls Yash and Viren inside. Yash begins to make faces at which the girl giggles. Viren and Bulbul admire them, that's when Viren turns to his wife.

"Bulbul, we have to do something. Aaj toh tum isey yahan le aayi but iske parents ko toh hame dhundhna hoga." Viren says.

"Haan par is bachchi ko police station le jaana bhi sahi nahi hoga." Bulbul says looking at the girl, who's now chuckling.

"Don't worry! Main inspector Rajeev ko call kar leta hun aur iska photo bhej deta hun." Viren says, sensing his wife's feelings.

Bulbul agrees,meanwhile, the girl gets cranky and Bulbul begins to make her sleep. Yash lies down on the bed, while Viren has no option other than to sleep on the couch. He makes a face while Yash gives him a winning grin. Viren makes a face,but smiles as he looks at the two babies sleeping along. He sighs he's determined to find the baby's parents, it's gonna be a long night.

Two days pass by.  Viren informs his inspector friend, but they don't find any clue of the girl's parents. It's Evening, the three people are home, the little girl is mingled with everyone. Yash is holding her in his arms. He calls for his mom, when the little girl tries to repeat the words.

Bulbul looks at her and repeats the word at which the little one chuckled. The girl chuckles again. Bulbul takes her in his arms and kisses her head.

"Hum isey Ana bulayenge." Bulbul says.

"So cute! But it sounds incomplete.." Yash says.

"Her name will be Anamika. Until she is with us." Viren says and Bulbul smiles lightly.

Maybe, they understand each other's emotions. The little girl chuckles, Viren strokes her head. They're having a family moment when there is a ring on the door. Yash moves to open the door. It's his dad's friend, he invites him inside and tells his father about the same.

Viren and Bulbul greet him with a smile, and Bulbul moves into the kitchen after handling Anamika in Yash's arms. Yash sits beside his father, continuing to play with little Ana. Rajeev eyes the two kids and then turns to his friend.

"Viren, is bachchi ke parents ka kahin kuch pata nahi chala." He says.

"Jis area mein Bulbul ko ye bachi mili thi tumne vahan pata karvaya??" Viren asks.

"Haan Viren. Jo kuch main kar sakta tha, maine kiya. Par kisi ne is bachi ko na pehchana." rajeev says dejectedly.

"Par koi itna bura kaise ho sakta hai, uncle? I mean, dekho na, she's so cute." Yash says looking at the little girl cradled in his arms.

"Duniya mein kisi ka bharosa nahi hota, beta. Thank god, tumhari mumma ko ye bachi mil gayi varna shayad iske sath bhi kuch bura ho jata." rajeev says.

"Par main iska dhyan rakhunga na." Yash says innocently.

Rajeev and Viren smile at his innocent words. Meanwhile, Bulbul comes with three cups of coffee. She serves two mugs to her husband and his friend and sits holding with one. She asks about the little girl but gets sad with the news. Little Anamika chuckles as she finds Bulbul sad.

"Dekho Ma! She doesn't want you to be sad." Yash chuckles.

She smiles, after a while Rajeev takes a leave. Bulbul is sitting with Anamika in her arms and Yash is beside her. Viren plops down near to his son who keeps his head on his shoulder. Bulbul glances at her husband.

" Kyun na hum isey adopt kar lein?" Bulbul asks.

"Bulbul - - ye tum kya bol rahi ho?" Viren asks, he didn't expect this from her.

Bulbul glances at Anamika who's asleep in her arms. She asks Yash to take Anamika to his room. The boy obeys his mom's command. Bulbul moves closer to Viren.

"Viren! Uski family nai hai. We should adopt her. Isse us bachi ko maa baap ka pyar milega aur hume ek beti." Bulbul says hopefully.

"Han Bulbul, lekin aise - -" he is unsure of the decision, moreover, they don't know anything about her.

"Police ko kuch nahi mila, Viren. Ab mujhe umeed bhi nai. Aur dekho Ana bhi khush hai. Yash kitna khush hai.. Hum bhi toh ek beti chahte they." Bulbul says.

"Aur fir Viren! Isey bhagwan ka ishara samjho. Usne ek nanhi pari ko phir bheja hamare pas. Hum usey apna sakte hai." Bulbul says hopefully.

Viren glances at his wife. She is looking at him hopefully. Bulbul has made a soul connect with the baby girl. She feels like pouring all her love on the little one. They have always wanted a daughter, but the second time, Bulbul as pregnant, due to some complications, they had to abort the child. Both Viren and Bulbul feel an emptiness since then, though they have their own son with them. Now, the happiness is knocking their doors again. Viren doesn't reply, and Bulbul holds his hands.

"Please viren! Isey kisi orphanage mein bhejne se achcha hai, hum isey adopt kare. Is bachi ki zindagi sanwar jayegi. Aur hume ek beti mil jayegi. Jo dard hai wo khatm ho jayega." Bulbul says.

"Haan Papa! Please maan lijiye. Main hamesha Ana ka dhyan rakhunga. Mujhe bhi choti behen chahiye. " Yash says, he has mingled well with the little girl and she also enjoys with her.

"Samjho Viren. Ye best option hai." Bulbul says.

Viren looks at his wife and son. He is alright with the suggestion, but he feels that they can find her real parents. But it's all in vain. Police has been trying, but they didn't get any clue. Now, they have no other option other than to adopt the little one.

The crying sound of the little soul breaks their trance. Bulbul rushes inside the room and holds the girl in her arms. Yash, too, strokes her head softly. Getting the motherly warmth, Anamika smiles lightly and chuckles. Yash begins to play along with the little one. Bulbul places the girl on the bed and Yash slides on the bed beside her. Viren, who's watching the three souls,enters in. He looks at Anamika, who chuckles to see him and stretches her hands towards him.

"Lo, tumhe bhi pehchanti hai wo! Ab kya kehna hai?" Bulbul says.

"Ab kuch nahi kehna. Aaj se ye hamari family ka hissa hogi - - Anamika Raichand." Viren says.

Bulbul and Yash smile at his decision and Yash hugs him. Viren smiles as he continues to play with his daughter, while Bulbul admires the three. A new family has formed at the moment.

A couple of days later, Viren and Bulbul have legally finished the formalities and now Anamika is a part of their family. It's a fine day - Viren and Bulbul's anniversary. They are getting ready when Yash enters the room with Anamika cradled in his arms. He wishes them for their anniversary. Viren and Bulbul thank the boy, while Viren calls him close. He looks at Bulbul.

"Tumhe toh khush hona chahiye, you've got a beautiful present. I mean two presents." Viren says signalling the boy and the girl.

"This is surely the best gift - My babies." Bulbul hugs both yash and Anamika while Viren clicks a family selfie, as they begin to leave to celebrate the day with lunch and a day out. They are surely happy.
