Neil dismissing the meeting went to his cabin followed by his pa. Neil unbuttoning his blazer buttons took his blazer off and kept it around his chair. He then opens first two buttons of his shirt rolled his selves up till his elbow.

He looking at his pa took his seat.

Neil : get this deal contract file on my desk. Is that clear to you?

Pa : yes sir.. I'll get it done!

Neil : you may leave now.

Pa left from there whereas Neil opens his laptop and leans back to the chair.

Neil then took glass of water and drank it before engrossing himself into work.

Neil opens the file document on the laptop and starts working when his phone rang. He glanced at the phone which was kept beside him on the desk.

Neil smiles brightly seeing the caller id. He picks his phone up and leaned back to the chair resting his head on the head of the chair.

Neil swiped the green button answered the call.

Neil : hello baby. How come you called during working hours?

Neil got alerted and straightened himself soon as he heard Avni's sniffing. Neil got worriedly hearing her sniff.

Neil compose himself.

Neil : baby what happened? Why are you crying? Did someone tell said something? Did anything happen baby? Why are you crying?

Avni : N... eil...

Neil : baby first of all stop crying and wipes tears off. I don't like your tears. Come on wipe it off.

Neil waited few minutes before speaking once again.

Neil : drink water then tell me what happened there?

Avni other side picking the glass drank the water and still holding the glass in her fist told Neil whatever happened in the office.

Neil : baby this is reason why you cried? Baby don't stress, I'm going to handle this matter from here. You just complete the presentation. Okay.. I promise you from next time your boss won't scold you. Okay. Now cheer up.

Avni : Neil.. I wanna see you today? Are you too busy?

Neil : no baby! I'm not busy. I have better idea. Let's meet up near your office during lunch break. I'll come there. Okay!

Avni: thank you so much Neil.

Neil : keep smiling.. I love your smile not tears of yours. Okay!

Avni : okay.. and sorry making you worried.

Neil : baby I have warned you before too. You don't need to be sorry. I'm always there for you either be in happiness or sadness. Now ending the call concentrate on the presentation. I'll talk to you later.

Avni: okay Neil.. meet you soon. Bye!

Neil : bye baby!

Neil ended the call and kept his phone back on the desk. He then thought about something. He picks his intercom phone and dialled receptionist number.

Neil :Hello Sarah! I'm sending your email. In next 10 minutes I want the detail what I have asked for?

Sarah : okay Neil sir! Anything else?

Neil : no! Just do what I have asked you.

Neil ended the call and got back to work.

12 o'clock Neil closing his laptop got up and taking his blazer wore it. He buttoned his balder and collected his phone.

He then starts walking about of his cabin. He knocks Prakash cabin. He heard Prakash
professional voice   'come in'

Neil walks inside the cabin and saw Prakash working. Neil clears his throat gaining Prakash attention.

Prakash: Neil beta why are you standing there? Come inside.

Neil : hey dad! I have come here to inform you that I'm going out for lunch. Shall I order something for you too?

Prakash: no Neil.. I'll have something in canteen. By the way where you going alone out?

Neil : no dad! Avni will be joining me.

Prakash: that's nice. Could you do one favour of mine?

Neil : sure dad!

Prakash: could you give this to avni.. actually I brought this ages ago but didn't got chance to give her..

Prakash gave him the bag which was kept in his drawer. Neil took it and looks at the bag.

Neil : dad what is this?

Prakash: a small gift for avni.. please give this to avni.

Neil nodded his head took leave from there.

Meanwhile Avni completing her presentation moves to her boss cabin. She knocked before getting inside the cabin once she got the response from the boss.

Avni : sir.. I have completed the presentation.

The boss looks at avni then gave nod.

Boss : you may leave now.

Avni nodding her head left the cabin. Avni coming out of cabin walks to hers. She took her handbag and starts moving out of office when someone called her. She turns around and saw unwanted person. She gave fake smile to the person.

Person : hey avni.. going out for lunch?

Avni : yeah..bye..

Person : wait Avni.. can I join you? I mean my friend didn't come office today so can I join you to have some company?

Avni: woh.. actually I'm going to meet my mom. So there is no reason if you coming with me.

The person sadly nodding head leaves from there. Avni sighing escaped out of office before anyone stops her again.

As she came out she took her phone and dialled Neil's number.

Avni: Neil where are you?

Neil : walk few minutes away from your office. I'm waiting for you there only.

Avni : okay.. stay there I'm coming.

Avni staying on call walks few minutes away from office. She noticing Neil's car ended the call.

Avni walks to the car and opening the door sat inside. She passed Neil smile.

Neil soon as avni settled he starts driving the car. Avni kept her head on his elbow turning the music on.

Neil : why are you so quiet baby?

Avni : Neil.. he again troubled me.. I don't like it when he calls my work careless.. I have always completed my work that too on time. I don't why know why he find mistakes to scold me. You know Neil.. when you went to your business trip then he humiliated me front of whole staffs.. Why doesn't he see that I have given by best? He always tries to fine mistakes in my work.

Neil silently heard everything clutching the steering wheel controlling his anger.

Avni : and top that everyone thinks or believes I am the one who loves getting into trouble. Neil why I want to land in trouble.. whole staffs gossip about me during their free times.. and you know there is one annoying guy who keeps coming close to me.. I don't get what is his problem. I hate this office Neil..

Neil took deep breath taking left.

Neil : baby I have no right to interfere as it's your job.. I have promised you before that I won't come between your work. You choose the place to work despite I have you offer to work in my office.. but I'm telling again.. I'm going to handle your boss in my way.. this time you won't stop me.. and about that guy then stay away from him much as you can.. okay.. I don't want you to land in some trouble because of him... now relax your mind and come out. We have arrived..

Avni looks outside of window and saw the restaurant. They both comes out of the car and starts moving in..

Neil usually comes to this restaurant with avni therefore the manager knows him. Neil books one private table for themselves.

They both sat done and Neil greeted the manager.

Manger : hello Neil! How are you? After long time you have come here.

Neil : hello.. I was out of Mumbai.

The manger nodded his head and passing smile to avni left from there. Neil then ordered their food.

Neil : was it hectic in the morning?

Avni : nope expect him scolding me.

Neil : he has authority to scold you but not for too long.

Avni smiles hearing him knowing what will happen next. Soon their food arrived. They both starts eating while talking with each other.

Neil after paying bills moves out of the restaurant with avni...

They settled in the car. Neil drove back to Avni's office..

Neil : dad brought something for you.

Avni : for me? Why?

Neil : I don't know but yeah the bag is kept on backseat. You check it out.

Avni nodding her head took the bag from the backseat and opens it to see expensive watch.. avni looks at Neil then at the watch..

Avni: Neil I can't take this gift.. return it back..

Neil : baby I haven't brought this.. dad brought this for you.. you should keep remember their love for you is precious than money.. they have considered you as their daughter..

A tear rolled down her cheeks but she wiped it off before Neil could notice it.

Avni tried protesting not taking the gift but Neil made sure she takes it.

Neil dropping avni to her office drove back to his office. When he was driving his phone beeped with message.  He couldn't take his phone out as he was driving so he thought to check it once he reach office.
