Hands in hands AvNeil walks on the beach. The sunset was down giving peaceful view.. they both walked around the beach holding each other hand.

Avni was side hugging Neil and talking to him about something but still the they haven't the topic of the past of Neil's side..

At one moment Neil stops walking and looks at avni.

Neil : can we sit down now.. I am tried of walking and also I need to tell you something..

Avni bobbing her head sat near the sea with dipping her legs in the water. Neil sat behind her making her sit between his legs and wrapping his arms around her shoulder.

Neil pulls avni close to his chest and pecks her hair from the back. Neil took deep sigh which avni heard it and understood where the conversation was heading to.

Neil : avni before going to past of my side, I apologise to you.. I really didn't mean to hurt you or anything but eventually it did hurt you.. whatever decision I took that day was to protect you from them especially from Juhi. I am very sorry whatever you went through in those four years.. you didn't deserve the betrayal or pain that I gave you unwillingly. Everything I need was to protect you.. I am very sorry for hurting you.. possibly forgive me avni..

Avni: forgive you Neil.. not because you choose to leave to protect me... I forgive you because I still love you and I want you in my life.. call it being selfish but I need you... can I ask those questions?

Neil nodded his head.

Avni : Juhi said that you rejected her? Why did you reject her?

Neil : see avni. It was years back... I was senior than her... I never knew her expect the thing she was one year younger than me... I was not really into dating or relationship during college times.. maybe I was waiting for the right person which happen to be you.. it was out sudden when Juhi proposed me front of whole college.. I had no idea how that happened... I knew it every girls in college had some kind it feelings towards but I never cared not because I showed attitude or I was the bad boy.. I never wanted to get in relationship... my main goal during college was to study and become business man like dad.. when Juhi proposed me in college I immediately rejected her... not only her but many girls .. even rejecting many  girls they didn't stop.. the girls kept proposing me and I kept rejecting them.. they  knew what I knew I was not into relationship but they never stopped.. after I rejected Juhi.. I never saw her back in college after that day... I thought she left or felt sad.. I didn't care about her anymore so didn't bother speaking to any of her friends.. I never gave heed about her proposal... Then years later I fallen love with you.. I proposed you to be my girlfriend... that time I only knew few things about you.. like your mother passed you... you have step- sister and mother but never knew Metha family was your step- family... I only got to know about the when I meet Juhi after you left  India few days later after our engagement broke.....

Avni listened to him carefully..

Avni : you rejected her and she left.. then why did she come back Neil? How did you meet her? How was she able to manipulate you? How did she threat you? How did she knew we were dating?

Neil : I was wrong thinking she was like other girls who I have rejected.. I never knew rejecting her would nightmare to in the future.... I never met her during our relationship.. the first time I met her after rejecting her in college was after few weeks after you disappeared.. I didn't knew where you was.... I tried looking for you but didn't find any clue about you... it was the day where I was having bad day in office when she called me and wanted to meet me up... that was the official day where we met... she was all prepared that day... she had the contract paper with her of my office... she told me that how much she is obsessed with me... she even made the deal that day of how would be handing my office in her terms... and I being jerk immediately agree to the deal... that would be biggest mistake of life.. as I signed that deal.. in those fours she brought many deals up and forcing me up made them sign all of the deal..... she was very good manipulating me by using your name... she knew your past which was still hidden by me..... the past I came to know was few days back before you return back to India.. though she only told me half truth.. I don't know how she knew about us dating... maybe she kept eyes on you or me..

Avni : she did... remember the day you found in my room unconscious... before you came.. she sent her father to my apartment.. seeing him in front of my door step made me remember all the torture I went through... he also gave me warning to stay away from you but I didn't listen to him... he came there to support how lovely and deserving his daughter was... he didn't care about me but her.. and something I have came to know is Juhi was jealous of me... she hated me because in her world I stole everything of hers.. I stole you from her... that's the reason she tried killing me many times...

Neil: why didn't you tell about mr Metha coming to your apartment?

Avni : how could I Neil? I never told you about my past... I was scared..  I didn't wanted to make you worry...

Neil : it's fine... is there something else you want to know? I mean...

Avni : no... I kind of got it everything... I have figured out why you left you that day.. I got it..

Neil a minute later looks at avni who was observing the wave..

Neil : avni... can I ask you something?

Avni tilts her head and looks at Neil before nodding her head at him..

Neil : why did you decided to leave India? I mean did you really hate me this much that you had to leave the country?

Avni turns herself around and kept her arms around his neck.. she tilts his head up.

Avni : Neil whatever I did that day was nothing coming straight from my head... I was broken and felt betrayal by you.. whatever came in my head first I thought it was best... leaving you wasn't the plan but I heard from you made me take that decision...

Neil frowns hearing the last sentence..

Neil : I forced you to leave? How?

Avni : remember our engagement day... you got the phone call and you can to your room... even your family followed you...

Neil nodded his head but was still confused how was this linked with avni leaving India to another country...

Avni closing her eyes and letting a tear drop went to the flashback of their engagement day..

Flashback.

Neil ending the call rushed to his room.. he pushing the door of his room pulls a suitcase out and starts stuffing his clothes in the bag...

He heard the footsteps but didn't turn his head around.

Prakash: Neil what was that downstairs? Where do you think you are going? How can you just leave your engagement?

Prakash moves to Neil and held Neil's arm...

Neil : dad.. what is wrong with you? Can't you see I am packing?

Prakash: packing for what Neil? Where do you think you are going leaving the girl downstairs who you claimed to love? Where are those promises you made to her? What has got into your head Neil? Why are you doing this? Why are you punishing the poor girl? Neil answer me..

Neil: dad...

Prakash: no Neil! No.. don't you dare giving excuse to me... I don't need you to lie.. didn't you love the girl? In next minute you are leaving on the day where you both supposed to start new beginning of your life? This is not Neil khanna we have brought up? Why are you breaking all the promises you made to her? Neil I won't let you do that... she might be love of your life but for us she is our daughter.. I won't let you break our daughter heart... you can't leave her Neil.. are you getting me Neil..

Neil : dad... enough is enough.... What are you saying? I haven't broken any promises... I am going to leave right now... I don't care about her... I don't care... I don't love her... I don't.. I don't want to get engage with her.. I can't get married to her.... I just can't... and get one thing dad... the girl who you claimed is your daughter.. In reality she isn't daughter but an orphan child... I don't love her dad...everything whatever we had was nothing... it was nothing dad... I don't love and I don't care what happens to her dad...

A thwack was heard in the room.. Neil palming his cheek looks at Prakash who slapped Neil..

Prakash: leave... don't you show your face to ye anymore... leave Neil..

Neil quietly packing his stuff left the mansion... as Neil left Prakash looks at Bebe and swetha who were crying watching the door where Neil just left... they were in their own land didn't realise their conversation was heard by avni who came right behind them but stopped at the door and heard everything what Neil said...

Her heart broke every second as Neil spoke.... She fisted her dress and pressing her lips together cried when she heard Neil calling her orphan.. she got the reality check who she was.. an orphan child...

Avni without wasting time ran out of the mansion and mindless walks on the road remembering her own reality...

She reached to her apartment and whatever came into her head... she packed her things and left the apartment for forever...

Flashback ends.

Neil was shocked and surprised... Neil cups avni's face..

Neil : I am so sorry avni... I didn't mean to say all of them... I had to do this make you hate and my parents me... I never knew it would hurt you that much... I'm sorry..

Avni : you don't need to be sorry Neil.. you said the truth.. I don't have a family... I am orphan.. this is reality of my life.. it's not your fault.. don't feel guilty..

Neil : I am sorry avni... don't say you don't have a family.. you do have family... we have me and reyan...

An hour later they both were decided to leave beach.. they both walks to the car and sat down..

Neil : I have one more question? How did you landed in Australia?

Avni : leaving my apartment I didn't knew where I was going... I was walking when a car came in front of me... the person came out of the car and yelled at me being stupid... I didn't care about anything... the person looking at my state took me to the car... the person was none then reyansh... I found out that he was leaving to Australia by tonight... so I told him whatever... he luckily took me to Australia...

Neil nodded his head..

Neil: I'm sorry for everything..

Avni : it's just a past Neil now.

Neil agrees to her but still he guilty letting avni suffer all alone.
