Neil unbuttoning his top two buttons of the shirt sat on the bed.. he bends down and took his shoes out.. he pulls the socks out and kept his shoes side.. he then starts unbuttoning rest of his button of the shirt...

He was going to remove his shirt of his body when he heard giggle behind him.. Neil turns his head around and his son leaning to the door and giggling...

Neil chuckles and removes shirt making reyan closed his eyes cutely. Neil giggles and throwing the shirt on bed moves to reyan.. Neil behind little down picks reyan up making him sequel...

Reyan: pa.pap...

Neil smiles and kissed his cheek..

Neil : yes papa.. why are you being so cute and shy at the same time reyan.

Reyan hid his face in Neil's neck making Neil chuckle at his antics. Neil made reyan sit in bed and Neil himself moves to his closet to get change..

Reyan taps his cheek cutely and stares Neil with his eyes widen.

Neil after changing into shorts and t-shirt went washroom to fresh up.. he comes back and saw reyan rolling on the bed..

Neil picks reyan up and moves downstairs.

Neil : where is your mamma shy boy?

Reyan peeps out from Neil's neck and points towards kitchen.. Neil nods his head and his way to kitchen..

It's has been 2 months since Neil found about reyan...AvNeil have given each other chance but they are still hesitating around each other especially Neil.. Neil's health is better now.. he has starts avoided drinking and taking pills of depression and sleeping. Reyansh and his family stayed back in India...

Avni is still unaware of the truth of Neil's life whereas Neil tries to avoid the conversation between them when avni brings the topic of the past...

Neil walks to kitchen and saw avni kneading the dough... her hair falls on her face.. her saree was untucked... Neil smiles and calls Avni's name out.

Neil : avni..

Avni turns around and glanced him.

Neil : what are you making?

Neil said moving to her and pecks her forehead....

Avni : I was making panner wrap with noddles.

Neil : need any help?

Avni : just look after this naughty boy..

She said eying reyan who was trying to reach piece of panner from the pan.. Neil pulls her reyan back and nodding his head moves back to kitchen..

Neil puts reyan down and grabbing the remote turns the tv on.. he flips the channel and stops on an cartoon channel... he kept the remote and saw reyan smiling as reyan watched the cartoon..

Neil ( mind) everything happens good.. if I didn't take wise decisions then I would lost myself.. my one mistake brought a lot of problems for us.. I have learnt from past to embrace whatever comes in your way either can be good or bad.. my son.. my avni best things ever happened to me.. though things between me and avni is not going well but I can where this heading...

His thoughts were disturbed by a phone ring.. he took his phone out and saw the caller id..

Neil picks it up.

Neil : hello reyansh..

Reyansh and Neil relation has also improved over the two months.

Reyansh: hello Neil... I need to speak to you urgently. Can you come over my place?

Neil: what's so urgent? I really can't leaving them alone reyansh.

Reyansh: it's really serious.. I can't really say it over the call... I need go speak to you.. can you over?

Neil : reyansh is it really serious then I can over tomorrow but not today... I can't leave avni alone with reyan..

Reyansh: I know Neil.. but this really urgent..

Neil : I really can't come reyansh..

Reyansh: can you tell me one thing? Did you ever sign documents without reading them?

Neil : what do you mean? I have always read them before signing them..

Reyansh: Neil I'll call you later..

Neil felt weird but biding bye to him ended the call. He look at reyan who was putting something is mouth..

Neil took out and shook his head before pulling him into his lap.

Neil : very bad Reyan..

Reyan leans to his chest and watched the tv. At the same time Avni's walks out of kitchen and saw them.

Avni : Neil dinner is ready.. come..

Neil nodded his head and picking up the remote turns the tv off. He picking reyan up walks to dining table..

Neil puts reyan on the chair next to him... Neil then sat down on his hair.. avni after serving them sat other side of Neil..

The dinner went pretty well.. avni cleaning the kitchen too reyan to their room so she can put them to sleep..

Neil walks to the room and saw avni putting reyan to sleep.. he took his clothes and moves to washroom...

Avni covering reyan and kissing his forehead gets up and moves to balcony. She sat in the balcony and thought how quick two months away.. though they have been acting like an stranger in private but there is lots of things going happening in their lives..

Avni's body stiffed when she felt his arms around her shoulder. A second later she felt the couch dipping down beside her.. she looks at him.

Avni : how long will be like this Neil? I can't take this anymore... we are hurting each other only.. I don't want act like an stranger.. I really want us back Neil.. I know it is not easy for both us but can't we try..

Neil : I know avni.. I'm trying but there is something I had to do before we start our relationship once again with fresh... there is some people who I need to give them answer... if trust me enough then can I ask you something?

Avni : I trust you Neil.. you can ask me anything..

Neil : when Ashish Metha came to office other day? Why did you go numb seeing him? Do you know him beforehand?

Avni's eyes widen hearing him but she knew she had to speak up the truth before he comes to know from someone else...

Avni : yes I know... Neil I have lied to you during our relationship... do you remember once I told you about my father... how he felt after my mother death..

Neil nodded his head as she shared about her mother death when they were dating..

Avni : the man who come with his new wife and daughter after few months of my mother death is none than Ashish Metha... Juhi is my step sister.. she envy me since childhood... she hates what I do..

Neil was shocked knowing this... he never knew Juhi was Avni's step sister.. he never knew.. it took a minute to understand everything... he rethink and linked everything that happened in his life...

Avni : that's was not only Neil... my father watched me getting beaten by them... they never treated me like their family... Juhi and her mother always hated me.. I really had horrible childhood with them... I was never allowed to leave home...... I left that the house few months before I met you...

Avni didn't tell him the torture she went through living with them but Neil knew it was more to this... he didn't force any further but side hugs her..

Neil : shhss... it's fine... I'm so sorry.. I shouldn't have asked you that.. I'm sorry baby...

He pecks her hair making her close her eyes for a moment... Neil caressed her hair...

Avni wiping her tears off went inside as she heard reyan crying... Neil also follows her back in the room...
