On a Sunday morning everyone was woke up around 9am as they had plan to have family day out.

Everyone were sitting in hall and discussing what to do for the entire day when Neil's phone rang. He excused himself and went to his way.

Avni watched him go then looks at Bebe who called her out.

Avni: yes Bebe, you said something?

Bebe : what do you think? What should we do today?

Avni : how about we play some activity? Like cooking competition, playing cricket. Let's make it fun.

All of them looks at avni.

Swetha : it is perfect idea but how will we do that when we don't many people.

Avni : Anutie we can divide into three or two group. We are 5 of us so it won't be difficult to play in three or twos.

Bebe : avni is right swetha! Where did Neil go?

Neil : Bebe I'm right here!

Neil spoke coming from behind and taking seat next avni. He wraps his arms around her shoulder and looks at Prakash.

Neil : dad London client just called saying they need one of us in London by next week.

Prakash: I don't much work left in office so I might drop there. You relax and handle all the office work here. And Neil I was thinking something from last few days.

Neil : what is it dad?

Prakash: we all you wanted to settle down before starting new business, also you have proposed avni for the marriage. I was thinking why not to get both engage then wedding after few months. What do you think?

Neil : dad it's good idea far as I know I would be busy with new upcoming projects and I can't delay it anyone. Avni what do you think?

He said looking at avni who slightly looked lost. Neil calls her name out making her come back to the reality.

Avni : did you say something Neil?

Neil : yes, what do you think about us getting engage?

Avni : Neil! I'm okay with us getting engage. I mean some days we have to get marriage then what's the point in delaying it. Uncle I'm ready.

Swetha : I'm so happy! Avni you will officially become member of khanna family. Prakash ji you have super idea. I can't hold my excitement to see the day when Neil brings avni as our family daughter-in- law.

Avni blush hearing swetha and hid her face into Neil's chest making him chuckle lightly.

Bebe : we will ask pandit ji for the best day and fix their wedding day too.

Prakash : yes, but for now let's do what we supposed to do today?

Neil : oh yes, what's the plan for today?

Bebe : avni suggested us play cricket then have a cooking competition. Wanna add something into to this?

Neil : let's do these first then whatever comes in our head then we will go for it.

All agreed to Neil.

Swetha : hence we haven't had breakfast yet so I thinking we will make breakfast then after that will start the family day. Dinner can be the competition. We will play cricket after lunch.

Prakash : sounds good but in between we have to plan something else too.

Neil :I have an idea. We can have make some craft work. Like painting or drawing.

Bebe : good idea Neil! Let's make the breakfast meanwhile sunny and Neil gather all the crafts resources.

Neil and Prakash nodded  their head whereas the ladies moves to kitchen to prepare breakfast.

After breakfast everyone sat back in the hall with piece of paper each and paint, colours in the middle of the table.

Everyone starts painting or making something. They were giggling and in conversation with each other. It was one of the best think they have ever done.

Swetha : i will paint best picture. I'll get the prize.

Bebe : you dream madam. No one can paint better than me. I will win it.

Swetha and Bebe got into fought who will win.

Meanwhile others ignored their fight and was full focus drawing or painting what they were doing.

The first one who finished was Neil followed by Prakash then avni whereas swetha and Bebe were still arguing making others shaking their head at them.

Neil : mom Bebe stop fighting whose painting is best. You guys haven't even completed the painting yet?

As the realisation strikes to them they both slapped their head and got focused completing their arts meanwhile avni getting up brought some snacks for everyone.

Prakash and Neil keeping their painting side starts having some snacks.

In the afternoon everyone went in the garden and arranged cricket set up.

There was two. First team was Neil's with Bebe and Prakash. And the second was avni with swetha.

Neil tossed the coin and it landed on the head and the team chose head was Neil's team. Neil's team chose to bat first.

Neil and Bebe was going to open whereas avni was going to bowl.

Neil played very well till fourth over but in next bowl he was bowled out by swetha.. as Neil got out avni and swetha danced with each to celebrate Neil being out.

Neil's team made 45 of 1 wicket so far. Prakash took the Neil's position and on the first bowl he was out making both girls happy to beyond.

Neil : you guys haven't won yet. Don't keep so high hope girls. We will still defeat you both.

Avni : we will see Neil khanna! Anutie we will beat them.

Swetha : obviously avni we will! Our pair will rock it.

Avni took the first strike. Neil was blowing first.

The way girls were batting astonished Neil's team. They knew it that girls were going to win the match.

Avni jumped around as they won the match.

Avni : we won it Neil! We did it! You lost.

Neil : it was just a game baby.

Avni :  admit you lost Neil.

Neil didn't say a word but kissed her cheek making her gasp. Avni looks there and there to see if anyone noticed them. She slapping Neil's shoulder moves away from him.

The day went with Khanna family having fun, pulling legs, giggling and sharing most blissful moments with each other.
