Avni tossed on the bed from left to right side. She tried to sleep but couldn't. She gave up and sat on the bed. Avni picks her phone up to see the time. She sighed as she realised it is only 1am in the morning and she couldn't sleep even much she tries to sleep.

Avni kept the phone back on  side table and got down the bed slipping her foot into the slippers and grabbing a shawl walks out of the room.

Avni starts walking when she stopped as she saw Neil's room lights still on. She frowned thinking why hasn't he slept yet. Avni thought of something and starts making her way to kitchen.

Avni starts making two cup of coffee. Once she was done she picked it up and climbed the stairs.

She knocked Neil's room door and pushing the door get inside as she heard his voice saying come in.

Avni watched Neil how he rubbed back of his head still typing something on the laptop. Neil sat on the couch with laptop in his lap. Files around him.

Avni cleared her throat gaining his attention. He snaps his head and looks at avni.

Neil : why are you still awake?

Avni : I couldn't sleep. Why are you still working?

She said walking up to him and moving files side sat next him. She picks a cup of coffee and gave him one. She took one for herself.

Neil : thank you for the coffee. I had to finish this presentation for tomorrow morning. Why couldn't you sleep? Isn't the bed comfortable?

Avni: I don't know..I couldn't sleep so I walked out of the room then I saw your room lights on.

Neil nodded his head still typing but had full concentration what avni was saying.

Neil : avni are you mad at me the way I proposed you?

Avni didn't say a word but sipped her coffee. Neil glanced at avni when he didn't get answer.
Neil closed his laptop for moment and took Avni's free hand in his.

Neil : I shouldn't have been done that baby! I know! The situation made me do that. I promise you that you will be a proposal the way you have dreamed about.

Avni looks at Neil.

Avni : why do you want to marry me Neil? I am a orphan?

Neil : you're not orphan baby. I don't know why you have those silly thoughts running in your head but remember you're not orphan. You have a family that includes me bebe dad mom. You're not alone.

Avni's eyes shined up with fresh tears. Neil wipes those tears and kissed her forehead.

Neil : baby remember I love you and will do always. It never bothered me what status you're. It never did. I love you the way you're. Okay! I want you to stop thinking all the nonsense and be ready to give me a answer.

Avni blinks her eyes at Neil and wipes her tears off.

Neil : I'm going to finish my work. Why don't you go and sleep?

Avni : I can't go to sleep.

Neil : that's a big problem. Lay down.

Avni realising what he said she kept her head on his lap and closed her eyes. Feeling his warmth avni slept whereas Neil completing his work within few hours admired avni.

He shut his laptop and kissing Avni's forehead carefully leans back to couch and  closed his eyes.

Next morning Neil working rubbing his neck lightly and roams his eyes around only to find it empty. He assumed avni to be in her room. Neil got up and hissed escaped from his mouth because of the back pain.

Neil took his clothes and went to washroom to do his morning routine.

An half an hour later Neil was ready in formal clothes and was combing his hair when something clicked his head. He grinned and wore watch on his left wrist.

He picks his office bag and starts walking down the stairs. As he walked down he could hear laughter coming from dinning table.

He went to dinning table and saw Prakash and avni giggling on something. He wished them good morning and pulling the chair sat down. He starts serving himself when he heard footsteps.

He saw Bebe and swetha coming out of kitchen. The breakfast was silent till Neil looks at avni.

Neil : avni are you planning to go work any sooner?

Avni looks at everyone then at Neil.

Avni : yes! I'll be joining back from tomorrow.

Neil : okay! And yes tomorrow is going to be your last day there?

Avni nodded her head as she remember how they had conversation avni resigning her pervious job and finding a different job which would be better than her pervious job.

Prakash: avni have you planned where you want to work again?

Avni : no uncle I haven't thought where I found work again. I may find some job.

Prakash : why don't you join khanna industrial? You can work there whenever you want.

Neil : dad is right! Why didn't I thought that before?

Avni : no uncle. I want to find a job with my own skills not because you guys know me. I can't take the offer. I'm sorry.

Prakash: it's okay avni. The job in our industrial is always available for you.

Avni nodded her head and passed a smile to Prakash.

Neil and Prakash after breakfast went to office whereas ladies stayed in hall and thought to do something.

Avni :  aunty what are we going to do now?

Swetha : something interesting.. how about we bake something?

Bebe : sounds good but do we have the ingredients?

Swetha : I don't think so! First let's get groceries then we will bake.

Avni : I am up for this. I'll get change and come.

Bebe and swetha nodded their head. They all went to change and came in hall after 10 minutes.

Swetha drove to market near them. They starts getting groceries out whereas avni was looking around and was not able to notice someone's eyes on her each action.

An hour later the ladies drove back to khanna mansion and thought to bake in the afternoon so they can take lunch and dessert for both men's to office.

Avni excusing herself went to her room and starts searching some jobs available online. She looked though a lot of websites but didn't find any good job. She sighed and kept her phone on charging.

She then thought to rest till afternoon. She laid down and slept.
