Nathan came into my life in 3rd grade, about 4 1/2 years ago. The teacher announced a new kid coming to class, and I didn't really care because I was shy. The she placed him next to me I got to know him. We were both awkward, loved Star Wars, and were just ourselves around each other. 

In 4th grade we didn't really talk.

In 5th grade I told my friend Avery that I had a crush on him. Next thing I know he's drawing me pictures and we would do that back and forth every day. We both really liked each other. 

In 6th grade we were super close, and spent time with each other A LOT. We went to a Halloween dance as Dwight and Angela from the office. 

At the end of 6th grade he moved, and that's when things got harder.

We would zoom but he just seemed different.

We sent messages back and forth saying I miss you more. One day I sent it to him and he said, "Stop, I don't want to do this bf and gf thing anymore."

I was confused so I asked why and he said, "We are too young."

We didn't talk for a while, and eventually I confessed my feelings for him and he rejected me. It really hurt me. I cried in secret and wasn't happy a lot. Eventually I talked to him again and he told me he lied and didn't know how to tell me he got a girlfriend.

Ever since he hasn't answered. I put everything from him in a box on the top shelf of my closet, but I still cry.
