Virushka and Rahul reached the local market.

Virat: Guys.. it's our first outing together. To car me ek picture to banti hai.. Hai na?

Anu: Of course..

Virat took his phone and clicked a selfie of all three.

Rahul: Ab apka aur bhabhi ka bhi photo lo

Virat did the same..

Anu: Chalo Rah.. ab hum dono ki photo lete hai

Rahul first looked at Virat as if asking for the permission who blinked in assurance and then nodded in yes. Anu saw this and was feeling more proud on Rahul. Anu then clicked their photo.

Anu: Ab tum dono hi bache ho. Chalo main leti hoon photo.. She then clicked HulRat's photo.

Virat spoke once their photo session was done.

Virat: Rah.. bachcha yeh mask pahen lo.. isse koi pehchanega bhi nahi aur tumhe germs bhi kam lagenge. Yeh lo..

He forwarded a mask to Rahul who took it and wore it. Then Virat and Anushka too wore the mask and their hoodies and then they all came out of the car..

Virat: Rah.. wallet sambhal ke rakhna okay..

Rahul: Ji bhaiya..

Anu: Now let's enjoy the shopping

Rahul's eyes twinkled on the name of shopping. His eyes were showing excitement. They reached into the market. Rahul saw even though they were early as per the time but they were quite a lot people. He froze at his place and hold Virat's arm. Virushka both started rubbing his back.

Virat: Rah.. bhaiya bhabhi hai na sath me.. kuchh nahi hoga. Aur hum na aise hath pakad ke chalenge okay?

Rahul nodded in yes but he snuggled more towards Virat. Virat held him protectively. Anu made him have some water.

Virat: Let's go now..

They were looking at the things in the shops from outside only. Suddenly Anu squealed.

Anu: Hey.. waha pe sale hai.. Buy 1 Get 1 free...Jaldi chalo warna sab leke chale jayenge.. chalo chalo chalo...

She almost dragged Rahul who in turn dragged Virat as they have hold hands.

Virat: Rah.. mujhe nahi pata tha tumhari bhabhi ko sales itne pasand hai..

Rahul: It's one of female trait bhaiya.. if this market is having sales like this, we have to be ready to be dragged

Virat kept looking at him for a while as he was literally gossiping with him.. But then Virat chuckled. Rahul realised what he said and he bit his tongue. Though he has wore the mask but Virat could still got what he did. Virat ruffled his hair chuckling to which he gave him a small smile.

Anu called them..

Virat: She must have found something. Let's go

They went to her and saw she has literally found really good T-shirts. But they are all of half sleeves.

Rahul: Bhabhi yeh sab..

Anu: Ek minute..

She kept a T-shirt on Rahul and checked and it was suiting him.

Anu: Rah yeh T-shirts check kar lo. Changing room hai waha jao

Rahul: Iske uper hi pahen leta hoon na

He wore and finally selected 4 half sleeves T-shirts and as it was Buy 1 Get 1 free, he got 8 Half sleeve T-shirts.

Virat: Great ab Jeans dekhte hai

Rahul: Full sleeve T-shirts lene hai bhaiya

Virat: Lekin Rah half sleeves me kya problem hai? Kitne mast lag rahe hai tum pe

Rahul: Woh.. woh.. mujhe full sleeve T-shirts pasand hai

He said it while looking here and there. Virat though was not convinced but didn't press him much.

They selected 4 Full sleeve T-shirts which because of the offer were 8 now.

Virat: Ab Jeans..

Rahul: Bhaiya yeh wala T-shirt dekho.. aap pe mast lagega.. Bhabhi.. kaisa hai yeh?

Anu: Waah Rah.. Mast hai yeh.. Vi try karo na..

Rahul: Bhaiya.. apko pasand ho to hi try karna.. Warna aap mall se le lena..

Virat: Are itna achchha meterial mall me nahi milta.. Aur yeh to mere bhai ne select Kiya hain na to main kyu nahi try karunga.. Abhi karke aaya

Virat went to changing room meanwhile Anu made Rahul have some water to keep him hydrated. Virat came and he was looking really handsome.

Anu: Vi.. Siti maar lag rahe ho

Virat: Nushkie... yaar mere liye bhi aise T-shirts le lete hai.. kitna comfortable hai isme

Anu: Let's do it..

They ended up buying in total 16 T-shirts for Rahul in 2000 rs and Virat got himself 10 T-shirts in total.

Virat: Rah.. Jeans lene honge na

Rahul: Lekin Jeans..

Virat: Rah bahar jaoge kisi event me to chahiye na bachcha

Rahul: Okay.. (in mind) budget 8000 karna padega. Jeans to aise saste me milenge nahi

Virat: Rah see.. achchhe hai na yaha..

Rahul nodded in yes as the jeans were really nice.

Virat: Bhaiya.. Blue and Black jeans dikhaiye.. Plain rakhna and it should be either high raise or mid raise.. Correct Rah?

Rahul nodded in yes.

Virat: Rah go and check whether this size is proper or not..

Rahul hold Virat's arm. Virat went with him towards the changing room area.

Virat: Ab jao okay.. I am here only

Rahul nodded in yes and went to change. He came out wearing the Jeans and it was perfect for him.

Virat: Dusara wala bhi change karke check kar lo Rah

Rahul checked the second one and it too perfectly fit him. They bought two jeans.

Rahul: Kitna hua?

Shopkeeper: 1800

Virat: Are yeh kya 1800 bhaiya..

Shopkeeper: Sir yahi daam hai

Virat: Bilkul nahi.. yeh bahut zyada hai

Suddenly Anu jumped into conversation

Anu: Are yaha baju wali dukan me to inse bhi achchha material hai phir bhi 600 me mil raha hai. Lagta hai inke yaha aye wahi galati ki

Shopkeeper: Are nahi madam ji

Anu: Main abhi dalti hoon social media pe.. loot macha rakhi hai loot aur JFYI - Mere na kafi sare followers hai

Virat: Are mere to millions me hai.. yeh to hum logo ko local markets pasand hai to yaha aa gaye.. Chalo chalo chalte hai..

Virat almost dragged Rahul but Shopkeeper stopped them and gave them the Jeans in 1200. Rahul was looking at Virushka with wide eyes and opened mouth though his opened mouth was hidden behind the mask but Virushka could guess it.

They then went at a considerable distance and finally Rahul spoke..

Rahul: Yeh kya tha?

Virushka: Bargaining

Rahul: Aap dono to expert ho.. Sidhe 300 rs kam karwa diye

Virushka chuckled

Anu: Are local market hai and without sale hai to thoda bargain to karna padega na

Rahul nodded in yes.

Rahul: Thank you..

Anu ruffled his hair.

Virat: Hey woh dekho.. waha pe shorts and tracks hai.. let's go..

They went to that shop. It was having normal tracks but there was a huge collection for shorts.

Anu: Vi.. yeh wale shorts kaise hai?

Virat: Mast hai Nushkie.. lelo

Anu: Bhaiya.. yeh wale kitne me diye?

Shopkeeper: Kul mila ke 1500 ke hue

Anu: Are kya 1500.. Iske main 1000 se ek penny zyada na doon lekin phir apka nuksan nahi karwana mujhe.. Iss liye na apka aur na mera.. 1200 me done. Yeh lo.

Shopkeeper have her shorts.

Rahul was checking tracks when Virat came there...

Virat: Rah.. kya dekh rahe ho?

Rahul: Tracks bhaiya

Virat: Are tracks kyu dekhne hai? Shorts achchhe hai yaha.. come

He dragged Rahul to shorts section and they selected some shorts.

Rahul: Yeh sare aap pe achchhe lagenge bhaiya

Anu: Are yeh tum lo na

Rahul looked at shorts.. he caressed the clothes but then took a deep breath

Rahul: Bhabhi woh... Tracks lene hai

Anu: Haan to woh bhi le lena na

Rahul (fumbling): Woh.. woh.. woh.. mujhe..haan.. woh mujhe thand lagti hai na shorts me to tracks hi sahi hai

Anu nodded in yes though she was not convinced. She went towards Rahul.

Virat: Bhaiya.. I want these shorts. Kitne hue?

Shopkeeper: 3000

Virat paid him and went to Rahul.

Rahul: Bhaiya.. bhabhi.. yeh tracks kaise hai?

Anu: Perfect..

Rahul: Bhaiya yeh pack kar do

Anu: Kitna hua Bhaiya?

Shopkeeper: Madam ji waise to 3000 hue lekin aap itne me to manoge nahi.. Aap hi bata do

HulRat controlled their chuckle.

Anu: Bhaiya iske na aise to main 1800 doon lekin yeh lo aap 2300 me dedo

Shopkeeper was not having energy to bargain with Anu so he agreed.

Anu: Main aapki shop ka free me promotion karungi social media pe.

They went from there.

Virat: Ab kuchh khana hai?

Rahul: Aap bahar ka khaoge?

Virat: Aaj cheat day

Anu: Let's have some momos.. See waha pe hai

They went there..

Rahul: Hum log jab Kolkata Gaye the na tab maine yeh taste kiye the.. hotelwalo ne menu me rakha tha.. ab to uska taste bhi yaad nahi

Anu: Haan to let's try yaha ka ki kaisa hai

They had Momos and they were really nice.

Virat: Ab?

Anu (happily squealing): Panipuriiiiii

They went towards a Pani puri stall and stood in a shadow so that many people do not notice them.

There was a Soft toys' shop in front of the stall. Rahul was just looking at the Soft toys and then the kids coming out from it with wide smile on their faces as their parents bought them the soft toy.

Virat: Rah.. yeh lo..

No response..

Virat looked at Rahul and found him looking at the Soft toys' shop. His heart went out to the boy.. He was craving for such small happiness in his life. He caressed Rahul's hair which broke his trance and he looked at Virat.

Rahul: Haan kuchh kaha apne?

Virat forwarded him the panipuri plate. Rahul smiled at him and took it. He was having Panipuri while his gaze was falling at the Soft toys' shop every now and then.. He was not able to control himself. Tears fell from his eyes but he continued eating panipuri and finished them real quick.

Rahul was about to drink the spicy water but Virat stopped him. He gently wiped his tears.

Virat: Never hide your tears from me. Your Bhaiya has all ears for you.

Rahul hugged him tightly hiding his face in the hug. Virat rubbed his back.

Anu: Aye.. you two forgot me

She too joined the hug and Virat held his two cuties protectively.

Virat: Ab kaha Jana hai?

Rahul: Ab bhabhi ke liye kuchh lo na.. Unhone kaha theek se kuchh liya

They went towards a shop where jewellery was being sold. Rahul stopped looking at a stall and went there and purchased two things. He then came back to jewellery shop.

Rahul: Bhaiya.. bhabhi...

Virushka: Haan..

Rahul forwarded them a bag.

Rahul: Yeh aap dono ke liye..

Virat: Rah yeh.. kyu lekin?

Rahul: Are housewarming party me aise hi thodi na aate hai

Anu: But tumne to hamare sath rehne ke liye haan bolke hume aise hi gift de diya bachcha phir yeh kyu?

Rahul: Are to main gift thodi na hoon..

Virat (in mind): You are Rah..

Rahul: Are lo na..

Virat took it and ruffled his hair.

Virat: Thank you bachcha..

Rahul: Bhabhi apne kya liya?

Anu show him the earrings she was buying..

Rahul: Offo Bhabhi.. aap yeh nahi yeh Wale lo.. Iss wale me kan me dard hone lagega

Anu: Are lekin mujhe adat hai.. Ab shooting me to aise dete hi hai na

Rahul: Exactly Bhabhi.. shooting me aap already pain handle karte ho na.. to normal life me kyu?

Virat: Point.. Nushkie jo Rah bol raha hai woh wale lo

Anu: Well I didn't know you have this much knowledge about girls' things as well..

Rahul: Common sense hai bhabhi..

Virat (teasing in low voice): Waise koi hai kya?

Rahul (confused): Kya?

Virat (teasing): Girl.. jo friend ho.. jiski wajah se itna kuchh pata hai tumhe Haan...

Rahul stiffened but gulped down.

Rahul (fumbling): Bhaiya.. kya.. kya aap bhi.. maine.. maine bola na co.. common sense hai

Virat: Ohk..

He chuckled. Virushka bought some jewellery for Anu and then they went to a shop where all items for Men were being sold. Virat bought few things for himself. Virat has noticed Rahul has interest in many things but he has controlled himself a lot in shopping even though he loves shopping. Now he was just waiting for Rahul to play the match as after that he knew the world will know how great Rahul the batter is..

They went back home. Virushka were hell tired and they literally slept in their room as soon as they reached home. Rahul shook his head at their antics. He went to his room and changed into his clothes. He then put Virat's clothes for laundry bucket. He was not allowed to wash them else he would have done that. He then came to kitchen and did some needed preparations for dinner. Now he needed to cut the vegetables. He took the vegetables and placed them on kitchen counter. Rahul then turned towards knife stand. He stared at it for a while but then gulped down and took a knife with shivering hand. He took a deep breath and then started cutting vegetables thinking about Virushka.

Rahul: Ab vegetables bhi cut ho gaye.. aur yeh rice bhi bheeg chuke hai.. kitne baje..

He went to hall and checked the time. It was already 7 in the evening. He put the cooker on stove and prepared pulav and then kept it to get cooked.

Virushka came in the hall..

Rahul (sarcastically): Bahut jaldi uth gaye dono..

Virushka made a pout. Rahul chuckled. Virushka smiled at him.

Anu: Aise hi haste raha karo. Pyaare lagte ho samje..

Rahul gave her a smile.

Virat: Kaka.. coffee bana do na

Rahul: Kaka ko aaj chhutti di thi apne.. Aur coffee nahi milegi.. Abhi pulav ban jayega we will have that in dinner. Subah bhi bahar ka khana khaya tha.. Abhi halka fulka ghar ka khana..

Anu: Tumne banaya?

Rahul nodded in yes

Anu: Akele?

Rahul again nodded in yes

Anu: Kya baat hai Rah.. well done kiddo..

Rahul smiled.

Virat: Nushkie... Let's see Rah ne kya gift Diya..

Anu: Are Haan.. let's open it..

Rahul: Are mere samne hi mera gift khol rahe ho

Anu: Haan to.. isme kya..

Rahul: Mujhe ajeeb lag raha

Virat: Okay.. to..??

He asked while opening the gift alongwith Anu and Rahul facepalmed himself and literally thought whether they are his bhaiya bhabhi or Rahul himself is an elder one here..

Anu: Ganu Bappa.. Wow.. kitne pyaare hai

Rahul smiled

Virat: Clock.. Rah.. yeh itni chhoti si clock kaha se dhundhi?

Rahul: Waha market me stall me thi

Virat: Nushkie see...

Anu: This one is soo cute.. Isko na main yaha hall me rakhungi..

Rahul: Umm.. main kuchh kahu?

Anu: Haan

Virat: Are bolo na..

Rahul: Bhabhi.. apko yeh clock either kitchen or apke medical room me rakhni chahiye. Kitchen me waha shelf pe ya side ke window me aa jayegi. Kitchen se agar time dekhna ho to bahar hall me aana padta hai. To kitchen me better rahega

Virat: He has more brain than us Nushkie..

Anu: Apni baat karo. Mere paas to hai dimag. But Rah.. you are a saviour.. thank you kiddo..

Rahul smiled and Virat sulked at Anu.. She chuckled and kissed on his cheek..

Rahul gasped and closed his eyes turning other side..

Rahul: Maine kuchh nahi dekha..

Virushka chuckled and went to Rahul.

Virat: Chalo ab dinner karna hai..

Rahul: Haan to aap karlo baad me batana.. Main room me hoon..

Rahul said while going here and there still with his hands over his eyes closing them..

Virat: What aap kar lo.. dinner to sath me hi karenge na..

Rahul snapped his head towards Virat..

Rahul: Aap kya bol rahe ho??

Virat: Yahi ki hum sath me din.. wait.. tum kya SOCH rahe ho??

Virat stood with crossed arms and raised eyebrows. Rahul's face flushed instantly.

Rahul (fumbling): Ab.. woh.. main.. Bhabhi.. bhabhi... Bhukh lagi hai.. jaldi do dinner..

Rahul went towards dining table.

Virat: Did he just talk like a boys' sh*t talk with me?? OMG.. he did.. My Rahuliya is getting so comfortable with me..

Virat did happy dance and then went to dining area and found Rahul and Anu both were giggling over something while serving the pulav.

They started eating.

Rahul: Isme mirchi zyada ho gayi.. sorry...

Anu: Rah.. yeh perfect hai hamare liye. Hum itna teekha khate hai

Virat: But isko na curd de sakte na buttermilk

Anu: Koi baat nahi Rah.. abhi buttermilk lelo lekin Rat ko meds leke Sona okay.. Sardi and fever ki..

Rahul nodded in yes but Anu still put the buttermilk on stove and slightly warm it so that the temperature can come to a normal one from very much cold

Anu: Ab Khao..

They had dinner and Rahul took his meds. He was in his room when Virat came there..

Rahul: Bhaiya aap..

Virat: Haan woh tumhare liye kuchh laya tha

Rahul looked on..

Virat show him a quite large Teddy Bear. Rahul was surprised.

Rahul: Bhaiya yeh..

Virat: Yeh market se nahi liya..

Rahul: I know.. liya hota to chhupa bhi nahi paate isko

Virat: Yeh mera hai.. Papa..

Virat cleared his throat..

Virat: Papa ne leke diya tha.. I was down with fever and unko out of station Jana pada tha to aate waqt leke aaye the mere liye.. You know compansation types..

Tears collected in Virat's eyes but he composed himself and smiled. Rahul gave him a small smile

Virat: Maine kabhi iska as such use nahi kiya. Kabhi zarurat hi nahi padi.. koi na koi mera human Teddy ban ke raha mere sath.. And now I have Nushkie.. My Permanent Human Teddy Bear

They both chuckled

Virat: So.. you take this

Rahul: Main.. main kaise..

Virat: Are tum kaise nahi? You are my brother na..

Rahul: Apke Papa ne diya hai Bhaiya.. Unka pyaar aur Ashirwad hai isme

Virat: Exactly Rah.. Papa ka pyaar aur Ashirwad hai isme.. Aur kya pata iske paas hone ki wajah se tumhare nightmare kam ho jaye thode..

Rahul looked at Teddy and then at Virat. Virat kept the Teddy beside Rahul's pillow.

Virat: Yaha rakh ke ja raha hoon. Man kare to you can cuddle it okay. Good night bachcha..

Rahul: Good night bhaiya..

Virat went from there.. Rahul too layed down on the bed. He was thinking about Virat's words. He looked at the Teddy.. A small smile came on his lips. He reluctantly hold Teddy's hand and then snuggled more towards the Teddy sleeping well cuddling to it.

Virushka have come after sometime to check on him and saw Rahul sleeping with a small smile on his face.

Virat: At least he has started accepting us properly.. He has started taking Small Steps

Anu: Yeah.. But kal se hume dhyan rakhna hoga Vi.. Aaj nahi nahi karke bhi uske budget ke bahar shopping karwa Li humne

Virat: I know.. bas ab jaldi se series start ho so that he could get some money to spend on himself and to fulfill his small wishes for which he was craving since only God knows how long...

Anu rubbed his arm.

Anu: He will do that too Vi.. Just have faith okay

Virat nodded in yes and then Virushka too went from there feeling somewhat content that they were able to make Rahul comfortable and smile while being around him..
