The two ODIs were done now and India has won both of them. The trio of Jassi, Rahul and Harry was something has become the eye of the team. They were cherishing this new bond.

Virushka were happy that their kiddo has finally found friends and that too of his own age. They both will always be there with him but sometimes one needs friends more than elders to talk.. to vent out. And their kiddo has so much burried inside him that they were still deep down afraid as they didn't know anything which triggers him. So they were still taking a lot of care of him like he is their little kid.

Virushka were in their room and Rahul was just about to get inside the room mentally praying to god that those two were not romancing when he heard them talking.

Anu was squealing happily.

Anu: Viiii...

She hugged him tightly.

Virat: Kya baat hai aaj bahut pyaar aa raha hai iss nachiz par

Rahul facepalmed himself hearing this and thanked god that he got saved from seeing them romancing. And he was about to go back when he heard Anu

Anu: Are Karwa Chauth aa raha hai.. Chhutti hai.. And most importantly it's our first Karwa Chauth after marriage. So I so so so happy

Virat: Well even I am excited. And I am gonna fast for you too

Anu: No na Vi

Virat: Haan na Nushkie..

Rahul: Karwa Chauth..

He said to himself and went from there to his room where Jassi was shouting on Harry about something weird he has done. Rahul was still lost in his thoughts just came inside and sat on the bed

Jassi: Rah.. scold this idiot. He is ordering oily food and is gonna mix them with salad and gonna make Paneer Masala Salad.

Jassi made a face

Harry: I am just making the bland salad into something eatable

Jassi: Isko diet bigadna bolte hai Harry

Harry: Isko diet ko handle karna bolte hai Jas..

Jassi: Rah tum hi samjao isko..

Rahul didn't say anything.

Harry: Rah.. you tell him yaar

Rahul once again didn't say anything. This time Jassi and Harry both looked at him. They both were surprised seeing Rahul lost in his thoughts. They both got serious and sat at either side of him. Harry gently put his hand on Rahul's shoulder. Rahul almost flinched.

Rahul: Haan kya?

Jassi: Rah.. kya hua? Kya soch rahe ho? Hum log kab se tumse baat kar rahe the

Rahul: Sorry Mera dhyan nahi tha.

Harry: But where were you lost?

Rahul: Woh main Bhaiya aur Bhabhi se milne gaya tha Bhaiya ke room me

Harry: Haan to.. wait.. you again caught them romancing...

Jassi: Rah yaar tum na chillate hue Jaya Karo

Rahul rolled his eyes

Rahul: Are mujhe bolne to do

Harry: Okay okay speak..

Rahul: Karwa Chauth aa raha hai aur chhuttiyaa bhi hai kuchh dino ki series ke beech me

Jassi: Haan to..

Rahul: Bhaiya aur Bhabhi ka pehla Karwa Chauth hai shaadi ke baad. Unn dono ko thodi to privacy milni chahiye na. Main hota hoon to dono Mera dhyan rakhne me itne busy rehte hai ki ek dusare ke sath kam time spend kar pate hai and frankly series ki wajah se jitna time milta tha woh bhi kam ho gaya hai. I want them to spend sometime together.

Jassi: Rah.. but it's not you jiski wajah se unko time nahi milta ya kuchh. They love you

Rahul: Jas I know they love me and I respect it. But I want ki unke iss special festival pe unka focus unpe hi ho. And yeh to waise bhi couples ka festival hai na. All I want is ki woh dono thoda quality time sath me spend kare.

Harry: Okay but what's the problem?

Rahul: Ab ghar jana hoga to bhaiya mujhe bhi bolenge aane ke liye aur agar koi bahana bhi bana diya to mujhe B-Ro ke ghar bhej denge lekin unko bhi to chahiye na time Bhabhi aur Sammy ke sath

Jassi: Well.. he has asked us to join him. But now that if we think like you, we should give them some alone time too

Rahul: Exactly.. We know they are with us always. But unka focus hum logo pe zyada jata kyuki abhi hum chhote hai. They feel responsible towards us. Lekin aise me woh sab apni apni life ko halka sa neglect kar rahe hai and I really don't want that

Harry: Haan to it's ok. Hum unko bol denge ki hum log nahi aa rahe

Rahul (sarcastically): Haan aur woh man jaayenge. Wow Harry kya mast idea hai👏🏻👏🏻

Jassi: Exactly.. we have to come up with something jispe woh yakin kare

Harry: Okay let's think..

The trio started thinking about the idea. Finally Harry spoke.

Harry: Idea...

Rahul & Jassi: What??

Harry: We will tell them that hum log Gujarat ja rahe hai. Waise bhi waha yeh festival nahi hota

Rahul: Aur hum teeno ko kon akele Jane dega??

Jassi: We can say hum log sath me rahenge

Rahul: We can say that aur haan sath me yeh bol denge ki hum log padhai karenge sath me. Exams waise bhi 2 months me hai hi

Harry: Padhai.. No chance..

Jassi: Great.. Hum khud padh lenge aur Harry ko bhi padha denge..

Rahul: Done

Jassi: Done.. let's tell them

Rahul: Haan chalo..

Harry: Are mujhe nahi padhana par

Rahul and Jassi didn't listen to him.

Harry (with pout): No one loves me

Rahul and Jassi were already outside RohiRat's room by now and Harry saw them from their room's door

Harry: Are wait for me. I am coming.. I am coming

Harry came there.

Rahul & Jassi: Don't mess it up

Harry made an innocent face. Rahul knocked the door

Harry (mumbling): Main thodi na kuchh bhi mess up karta hoon. Woh to aise hi ho jata hai. Main to kuchh karta bhi nahi hoon. Sab apne aap ho jata hai phir bhi sab mujhe hi bolte rehte hai. Unfair log huh

Harry looked up and found none was there . Jassi and Rahul were already inside the room. Harry ran inside.

Harry: Hey why didn't you wait for me ?

Rohit: Is it true Harry?

Harry: What??

Virat (with raised eyebrows): Yahi ki tum log padhne ke liye rukna chahte ho yaha NCA me

Rahul: Hum padhne ke liye rukna chahte hai

Jassi: Hum dono.. isko to padhana padega

Harry: See na B-Ro.. yeh log mujhe padhne ke liye majboor kar rahe hai

He made a cry baby face . Jassi and Rahul both glared at him to which Harry made a sober face.

Harry: But we have exams after 2 months. To padhna padega na. Waise bhi cricket ki wajah se time kam milega na.

Virat: Baat to sahi hai waise. Abhi break hai to they can cover up. ENG ke baad we have BGT. Yeh log exams BGT ke turant baad ayegi. Abhi padh lenge to tab phir revise hi karna hoga.

Rohit: NCA hai so we know you guys can stay here and it's safe too. But make sure you take care of Rah okay.

Harry: Are yeh apna hukum chalata hai humpe uska kya? Make sure you take care of Rah huh..

Harry pouted.

Rahul: B-Ro I can take care of myself

Rahul pouted.

Jassi: I'll take care of these two idiots. Don't worry

Virat: We can trust you Jassi but make sure you stay sane when we come back

Rahul (whining): Bhaiyaaaa

Harry (whining): Vi Bhai...

RohiRat chuckled but ruffled their respective kiddo's hair too. Though they were quite tensed about Rahul but Jassi gave them an assuring blink and eventually they both allowed them to stay back while rest all went back to their respective houses for the festival. Jaddu was going back not because of the festival but he has some personal work God knows what.

Now it were Jassi, Rahul and Harry in the NCA and rest all team members have gone to their respective houses. The break was long enough for them to have a 2-4 days break from the team and cricket and get freshen up and come back on the field with freshe mind.

Rahul and Jassi were studying and Harry was dozing off while looking into his books which he has kept in his lap because of his two besties who have made him start studying compulsorily

Jassi: Harry mujhe English ki book dena ek minute

Jassi wanted to check some portion of a chapter so he asked but got no response. He asked again

Jassi: Harry English book please

Again no response

Jassi: Har..

He looked at Harry and found him already dozed off. He nudged Rahul who looked at him from his book and Jassi signed him to look at Harry. Rahul saw him dozed off and shook his head at his antics.

Jassi & Rahul: Harry...

Harry woke up with a jolt jumping at his place.

Harry: Yeah yeah I am reading. I am all awake. No one is sleeping

Harry looked at Jassi and Rahul who were glaring at him. Harry made a puppy face but the duo was still glaring at him.

Harry: Are sorry yaar. Kya karu? Padhna wadhna nahi hota mujse. Neend aane lagti hai zapak karke

Rahul: Then why did you opt for B.Com? That too in the prestigious college of National level. Kisi aur ko padhne dete apni seat pe

Jassi: Harry value your seat

Harry looked here and there and then looked at the duo

Harry: I am valuing my seat. See.. I am sitting at one place since soooo long..

Harry joked and Jassi ended up chuckling while shaking his head but Rahul glared at him

Rahul: It's not a joke Harry. Not everyone can afford the fees and can study in the college or university which is reputed at the national level

Jassi and Harry both looked at him getting the seriousness in his words.

Harry: Jokes a part, I value my seat Rah sach. But I hate this subject. Mujhe neend aati hai isme. How can someone make subject like Economics?

Jassi: But Harry you at least need to have passing marks na

Harry: Are lekin iski book kholte hi neend aane lagti hai

Rahul: Then shoo away your sleep As simple as that

Harry: Are kaise karu but

Rahul: By getting motivated to read

Jassi: Aur woh kaise karenge isko? Impossible kam hai. Na khud padhega na hume padhne dega yeh.

Harry made a face at him.

Rahul: Okay what about making a deal?

Harry: What deal?

Rahul: We will tell you the subject and amount of portion you need to complete. Sham ko we will take a test of yours and if you performed satisfactory to hum log sham ko dinner ke time tumhari favourite movie ya series dekhenge

Jassi: By the way it's a great deal

Harry: Are Done Deal bro. You are soo damn intelligent Rah.

Harry hugged him and kissed on his cheek. Rahul flinched a bit but shoo Harry away wiping his cheek

Rahul: Ewww..

Jassi chuckled and Harry too joined him. But then suddenly a naughty idea came in Harry's mind and he started tickling Jassi who laughed out loud..

Jassi (between his laughs): Haahaahaa.. stop.. haha .. Rah help.. hahaha..

Rahul chuckled and he too joined Harry in tickling session. Jassi was laughing out so loud but was happy too. Rahul and Harry both stopped when they saw Jassi was almost breathless. They were chuckling though Harry was more towards laughing than chuckling. Jassi took the opportunity and started tickling him.. Rahul didn't need any invitation this time. He joined instantly and Jassi and Rahul both were tickling Harry and this time it was Harry who was laughing out loud. Even they stopped when Harry was almost breathless.

Rahul: You both are impossible guys..

Jassi and Harry looked at each other and signed each other. They both instantly started tickling Rahul who was laughing so hard they have never seen him like that. Though they were careful enough to allow him to have some small breaks to breathe before continuing their tickling session.

Rahul was laughing hard and Harry and Jassi were almost laughing seeing him laughing when suddenly Rahul winced in pain making Harry and Jassi instantly stopped.

Jassi: Rah kya hua?

Rahul: Nothing Jas..

Harry: No you winced. Kahi laga hai kya?

Rahul: Are nahi. Woh..

Jassi: Woh kya woh Haan? I saw you winced when I accidentally touched your shoulder

Rahul: Jas.. Harry relax.. chill.. woh aaj cupboard ka handle lag gaya tha subah. Mera dhyan nahi tha and my hand hit it to..

Harry: Dhyan rakha kar na apna. Now show kitna laga ?

Rahul: Are baba it's nothing. It doesn't even need icing. Jaise hum kabhi kabhi bed se ya chair se nahi takrate waise takra gaya yaar. Chill

Jassi: Okay but please take care Rah

Rahul: Haan baba. And now let's study guys and Harry you have to complete 5 chapters of Economics.

Harry made a face but took the Economics book and started reading. Rahul and Jassi too got busy in studying.

It was evening when Jassi and Rahul asked some questions to Harry and they were surprised that he was doing considerably well.

Jassi: Ek series and movie ki lalach me to isko padhne pe majboor kar diya yaar

Rahul: At least he is studying and let us studying

Jassi and Rahul gave each other a hi-five

Harry (with pout): I am good boy

Jassi & Rahul (rolling eyes): Yeah yeah we know

Harry: Anyways tell me Am I passed?

Jassi and Rahul looked at each other

Harry: Are bolo na

Jassi: Pass..

Harry (happily shouting): Yeeeeee.. Ab meri pasand ki movie dekhi jayegi.. yeeeeeee

Jassi and Rahul both chuckled at his antics.

Rahul: Achchha batao kon si movie dekhni hai?

Harry: Harry Potter series ki sari movies

Jassi: Not again Harry..

Rahul: Are Jas.. lekin yeh to achchhi movies hai. At least kuchh dhang ka to dekhna hai isko

Jassi chuckled but agreed

Harry: Okay so Harry Potter done?

Rahul: Done.. but hum log Roz ek part dekhenge. Not more than that

Harry made a pout but agreed.

With that the trio started watching Harry Potter movie part in evening and they used to study during the entire day.

It was 4 AM in the morning when Harry woke up with a loud noise of alarm clock and he turned it off with a pout.

Harry: What the..

Rahul & Jassi: Harry..

Harry: Kya hai yaar.. neend to puri karne do

Jassi: Rat ko jaldi so Jana. Now wake up and get ready. We both are already ready

Harry who was sitting with closed eyes till now opened his eyes and saw Jassi and Rahul both were ready. He got up while huffing and mumbling something but went to washroom to get ready.

When Harry came out of the washroom, the trio called Rohit and Ritz and then Virat and Anu and wished them Happy Karwa Chauth and talked to them for a while. They even shared their schedule and condition which has started making even Harry study. RohIka and Virushka both praised Rahul and Jassi for the idea but also praised Harry and also let him know the good impact the idea was making on him.

Harry though was pissed off that his besties were appreciated but he too agreed as they were able to manage him study without dozing off so he was eventually on their side only

4 days have been passed and During these days, the bond between the trio was getting stronger. Their same  age was also helping them to make each other understand things with different perspectives.

It was the fifth day and they studied hard.. covering as much of the syllabus aa they could. Harry too was studying. And today too he was passed and they were gonna watch Harry Potter and The Order of Pheonix.

The movie started and Harry and Rahul were instantly engrossed in it. Jassi rolled his eyes

Jassi (in mind): I just can't understand how come Harry and Rah both are similar and yet different.

But at the same time he was happy for them and greatful that they have got a good friend like Rahul.

The movie was going on and it was the scene before Cho went for the Christmas break. Rahul was about to get up but Harry has clinged to him.

Rahul: Harry.. I need to use washroom. Let me go na.

Harry paused the movie.

Rahul: Are why are you pausing it baba? You continue watching it I am coming.

Harry: But...

Rahul: No but.. you continue okay

Harry nodded in yes and Rahul went to washroom. Harry was looking at the washroom door being lost in his thoughts. Jassi saw him nudged him.

Jassi: Kidhar khoya hua tha?

Harry: I was just.. actually Nothing..

Jassi: Harry.. you sure?

Harry: I am not sure on my theory Jas. So.. let's leave it as of now??

Jassi nodded in yes and Harry played the movie.

Rahul came out of the washroom and sat at his place on the bed. He closed his eyes telling the other two that he is feeling sleepy now and even the other two also agreed. They slept while Harry paused the movie and decided to resume it tomorrow.

On the next day during breakfast, Harry resumed the movie. Cho and Harry's kissing scene was going on when Rahul started coughing as the water he was drinking went into the wrong pipe. Jassi was rubbing his back and so as Harry who has paused the movie at the kissing scene.

Rahul: Abe usko age badha.. (cough) agar koi aa gaya na (cough) hum logo ki shamat aa jayegi

Harry quickly played the movie and they continued with the breakfast. Once the breakfast was over, the trio started studying. But today, Rahul's mind was not in his studies. He was not able to concentrate. He took Accounts today as he knew he would not be able to memorize any answers of any theoretical subjects.

Jassi: Kya yaar Rah? Why did you take accounts today? Tumhe uski practice ki kya zaroorat?

Rahul: Woh speed thodi Kam ho gayi hai to..

Harry: Are you are pro in accounts. Speed Kam hoti to ab tak ke yeh 5 chapters complete nahi kiye hote

Jassi: Exactly. But it's his choice. Let him be

They continued studying till lunch.

Rahul was in washroom after lunch. He was looking at himself in the mirror. He gently took off his half sleeve T-shirt and then his full sleeve T-shirt. He could see the things there on his hands.. the marks.. his gaze then fell on the sharp blade kept there for shaving as Harry and Jassi both needed to shave.

Rahul: No Rah..

Rahul took a deep breath but his hand was instinctively going towards that sharp blade.

Rahul: Rah no.. but only once.. a small one.. just a tiny one.. no.. I.. I can't.. No..

Rahul took some deep breaths. He closed his eyes tightly and he closed his ears with his hands tightly. He was getting the flashes. He has to stop them and he was trying to but was unable to do so.

Rahul took the blade with shaky hands and slightly scratched on his arm.. a very small scratch and the red liquid started coming out making his mind diverted from his inner pain to the one of the physical pain he was feeling right now. He cleaned the blade and then his wound and wore his T-shirts.

Rahul was quite silent which unusual for both Harry and Jassi but they didn't press him much. They studied and even today Harry passed exam of Jassi and Rahul and they were once again watching Harry Potter. Jassi was observing Rahul but he was behaving quite normally right now. Jassi tried to shrug off the thoughts that there is some issue with Rahul but was unable to

It was night and all were in quite deep sleep specially Rahul and Harry. Jassi's sleep was not that deep. He was waking up every now and then. Rahul was sleeping on his back till now which was quite unusual as he has a habit to sleep cuddling to either Jassi or Harry. He needs something or someone to cling.

Jassi frowned. He caressed Rahul's hair to which Rahul turned to him in sleep making him smile but as soon as he turned and his body weight shifted on his hand, he winced in pain and turned to other side and slept. Jassi got worried and he instantly sat on the bed. He was about to wake Rahul when he saw his T-shirt was having a small spot. He took his mobile phone and turned on the flashlight. He focused it over the spot and he was shocked to see the blood spot there on Rahul's T-shirt.

Jassi gently but a shaky hand put on the blood spot to find him quite wet. His heart skipped a beat. Rahul was with him the entire day, if he would have got injured, he would know but then how come Rahul has an injury and none knows.

Jassi (in mind): Yeh to sara din sath me hi tha. Phir yeh chaut kaise... Washroom.. Haan wahi laga hoga uske alawa kahi nahi lag sakta

Jassi went inside the washroom which was suddenly looking like a haunted place to him. He took a deep breath and was looking here and there to find anything if he could get. But there was nothing which can generate any doubt. He then came out and slipped into disturbed sleep as he was getting worried for Rahul now.

On the next day, when Jassi woke up Rahul was still sleeping. The blood spot on his T-shirt has already dried and mixed with his T-shirt's design. The T-shirt was having multi colour prints which Harry has gifted Rahul and right now Jassi was hating Harry for the same.

Jassi (in mind): I have to keep an eye on Rah..

Thinking that he went inside the washroom and brushed his teeth. He took the razor and was surprised to see blade inside it as he has kept blade on the washbasin slab. He took out the blade and observed it keenly. He was about to keep the blade back when his gaze fell on the floor. The floor was having dried blood drops marks. Jassi was shocked. He knew Harry didn't shave yesterday and Rahul is not that much fond of shaving. Moreover he knew none had injured their cheeks while shaving.

His heart skipped a beat as the possibilities started flooding his mind.

Jassi (in mind): Kahi Rah ko issi blade ki wajah se hi to nahi...

Jassi was shocked would be an understatement. He took the blade with shaky hand. He took a deep breath and took the blade near his arm around the spot where Rahul was injured. Jassi looked at the dried blood drops.. they were exactly in the same line of his arm and the realisation struck.

Jassi (shocked): Iska.. iska matlab Rah.. Rah ne khud ko hi...
