A car was going on on the highway in rain.

Anu: We are already late Vi..

Virat: Are baba koi late nahi hai. We are on time only.. It's just that baarish ki wajah se slow drive kar raha hoon

Anu: It's our house warming party and we are out of the house leaving our guests at home.. Wow what an amazing hosts we are!!

Virat: Are ab tumhari gaadi kharab ho gayi aur main tumhe lene aaya isme meri kya galati. Ab kisi aur ko bhejta to bhi tum yahi bolti ki guest ko bheja. And anyways ghar sirf nam ka hamara hai baaki to puri ICT ka hai Dr Anushka

He winked and she couldn't control but smile at it. The ICT is indeed a big family. The family where people only gets included and are always welcomed warmly. And today there are two big things happening.

One - Virushka has bought a new home and it was their house warming party though they did Pooja in the morning

Two - A new member is joining the team today.

Anu: Waise Vi.. Woh jo Naya ladka join kar raha na team ko woh na Harry aur Jassi ki age ka hi hai

Virat: Waah.. Team ke captain ko nahi pata lekin team ki doctor ko pata hai.. Kya baat hai..

Anu: Kyuki team ki doctor team ke captain ki personal doctor bhi hai. Jo uske pending kam kar deti hai. Samje mister Patidev..

Virushka both chuckled.

Virat: Maine dekhi thi uski file. Waise achchha hai Harry and Jassi ko unki age ka koi mil jayega

Anu: Haan na.. Bichare kabhi kabhi out of place feel karte hai

Virat: True..

Anu: Waise tumhe kya lagta hai uski kiske sath banegi sabse zyada?

Virat: Umm.. I.. I don't know

Virat sait it with quite lost tone.. Anu noticed it.

Anu: Kya baat hai Vi?

Virat sighed.

Virat: Nothing Nushkie.. let's just pick this guy and take him.. HOME..

Anu: Pata hai tumne jo bola na sunke aisa laga jaise usko hum sach me USKE GHAR leke ja rahe hai

Virat and Anushka both looked at each other and chuckled.

Virat: Like seriously...

Anu: Aur nahi to kya..

Virat: Oh my god.. hum log bhi na.. kya kya soch lete hai

Anu: Haan na..

They both again chuckled.

Suddenly, they heard the sound of lightening.

Anu: Aaj achanak se kya toofan aaya hai na? Bemausam ka andhi toofan..

Virat: Haan.. It feels like yeh aandhi toofan hamari life me aa gaya hai bina invite kiye..

Anu: Vi.. stop saying such things. Aisa bolo na ki hamari life me koi khushiyan Dene wala aa gaya hai

Virat: Well can't agree more. I have seen the game of that new player. It looks promising

Anu: Great.. to woh hi hamari life me khushiyaan laane wala

Virat (chuckling): Done bas..

Anu: Haan..

They continued and reached to the location they should have. It was still raining.

Virat: Iss ladke ko yaha kaha milna hoga?

Anu: Vi.. it's a public transport stand. Baarish ki wajah se koi dikh nahi raha. Woh ladka yahi kahi hoga. Let's see

They both came out with their respective umbrellas and were searching for the new team member.

Suddenly once again a lightening sound heard which followed by a scream.

"Aaaahhhh"

Virat and Anushka both looked at each other and then went in the direction of the voice. And there he was.. The new team member.. The young boy of 18 years of age was there sitting there shivering hugging his knees under the tree.. Besides him there was his cricket kit.

Once again the lightening sound heard making the boy flinched and he once again screamed out of fear.

"Aaaahhhh"

His scream flinched Anushka. Virat rubbed her arm.

Virat: Let's take him from here.

Anu nodded in yes. They both went to him and stood in front of him.

Virat: Hi Rahul.. Virat Kohli here..

Rahul snapped his head towards him with widened eyes. He was looking shocked.

Rahul: Aa.. Aap..

Virat: We were coming only na to pick you up

Rahul gulped down and nodded in yes

Anu: Hi Rahul.. Anushka here..

Rahul gave a gentle nod. Virushka looked at each other. The boy was weird they thought.

Once again the lightening sound heard and this time Virushka has braced themselves to hear another scream but to their utter surprise, the boy didn't scream. He has visibly flinched but nothing came out from his mouth. They both were confused but shrugged off the thoughts.

Anu: Achchha utho ab. GHAR chale?

Rahul snapped his head at her with the somewhat Are you seriously saying this expression

Rahul: Gh.. Ghar??

Virat: Haan.. ab yaha se to waise bhi pehle Ghar hi Jana hai na.. Phir baki sab baad me dekh lenge. Let's go HOME

Saying so He picked his luggage. Rahul quickly got up though stumbling.

Rahul: Sir.. sir.. why.. why are you picking it up? I.. I'll manage.

Anu: Hey..

Anu kept her hand on his shoulder and he flinched and took two steps backwards. Anu noticed it but didn't say anything.

Anu: Relax Rahul.. Yaha se gaadi tak hi to Jana hai. Vi utha lega.

Virat: Exactly and tum yeh apni cricket kit pakad lo

Rahul hold it but it seemed heavier to him. Anu was about to help him but stopped and she asked

Anu: Main help karu? Dono mil ke utha lete hai.

Rahul: Aap.. aap kyu? Main.. main utha lunga

Rahul anyhow managed to hold the kit but him shivering and the lightening were working against him. Virat saw him struggling with his kit, he took the kit from his hand and went to car to place it in the storage compartment. He has seen him flinching when he went near him and he felt strange but then shrugged off the thoughts. He came back to him.

Virat: Chalo gaadi me betho

Rahul nodded in yes and was about to go but Virat stopped him.

Virat: Ruko.. come under umbrella

Rahul reluctantly came under umbrella though he was half drenching him in the rain. Virat and Anushka shared a look which speak this boy is weird. But there was a worry lingering in their look. 

Anu: Chale?

Rahul nodded in yes and they went to car. Rahul sat at the back seat and Virushka at the front. Rahul was sitting with poker face. There was no emotion in his eyes.

Virushka looked at each other and then Virat started the car. He saw Rahul was looking at something as he was driving off but then he turned back and looked down.. his fingers fidgeting. Virat sighed but continued driving.

They reached at their building. Virat parked the car in the parking lot which was darker due to dim lights.

Rahul (in mind): Itna.. itna andhera hai yaha..

He gulped down hard. He was shivering but he came out as by now Virat has even took out his luggage.

Virat: Chale? Hume 15th floor pe jana hai

Rahul: Fif.. fifteenth.. Itna.. itna uper..

Anu: Chill lift hai na..

Rahul nodded in yes though he has hold his track pant in his fist which went unnoticed by Virushka.

Rahul took a deep breath and took his luggage from Virat though it was only a medium sized bag and then he hold his cricket kit though he was stumbling in holding everything, he still held them and started going towards lift. Virushka looked at each other.

Anu: Kuchh to gadbad hai

Virat: Mujhe to bahut badi gadbad lag rahi hai.. Anyways let's go

They reached to lift and got inside. They reached 15th floor and came out in the bright lobby. Rahul sighed in quite relief.

Virat: Rahul.. this way..

Virat and Anushka lead the way and Rahul followed them still struggling with his luggage and kit. Virat tried to help him but he politely denied.

Virat: Rahul it's okay to take help yaar

Rahul: It's.. it's fine Sir..

He said while shivering.. his teeth clicking.

Anu: Hum bas pahunch hi gaye

As soon as they reached, they were welcomed by the familiar scene once again.

Harry was pissing off Jassi with his constant blabbering.. Jaddu was pestering Bhuvi and Shami with his Jamnagar tale. Rohit was as usual sleeping on the sofa but he was sleeping while holding the little Sammy protectively. In one side Mahi Bhai and Ash were discussing something with full concentration. And in the other corner, the ladies Sakshi bhabhi, Ritz, Priti, Nupur and Riva were talking and giggling.

An instant smile crept on Virushka's face as they saw their chosen family happy in front of them.

Rahul too saw them and felt out of place. Was he really belonged to them? He kept looking at everyone with blurry vision.

Virat: Hey Guys.. we are back..

Team members smiled at him except Rohit who was sleeping.

Anu: And please welcome our new team member..

Virat: Mr Rahul...

All looked at Rahul. They almost said in unison

All: Welcome Rahul...

It woke Rohit up too. He looked here and there and found Virushka at home. He too got up holding Sammy to greet the new team member.

They started coming towards Rahul who got scared seeing them all approaching him together through his blurry vision. He took few steps back.

Virat: Are everyone is greeting you. Tum kya door bhag rahe ho..

Rahul: Sor.. sorry sir..

All felt weird.

Anu: Achchha ab andar chalo..

They all went inside. Rahul was following Virushka looking down. As he passed by Harry and Jassi, he heard them

Harry (whispering): Isn't he weird??

Jassi (whispering): Very much...

Rahul internally flinched at he got that his first impression was not good.

They reached to his room.

Virat: So this is your room..

Rahul gave a slight nod.

Virat looked at Anushka with I am pissed of with his formal behaviour look. She blinked at him.

Anu: Achchha tum fresh ho jao.. rest kar lo.. hum chalte hai

They both went and Rahul closed  the door. He left the breath he didn't know he was holding. His breathing became uneven to quite heavier. He then quickly put his luggage and kit at a side and slide the curtains. He then went to bed and covered himself entirely within blanket. He was shivering under the blanket. He started taking deep breaths to calm himself which he eventually was able to.. but by that time he was exhausted enough.. Moreover the storm outside was not helping and he was getting scared. He closed his eyes tightly and covered himself more with blanket while the sleep took over him being exhausted.

So here is the prologue of the new story.. It will be an emotional story for sure with a sensitive topic. I'll try to do as much justice as I could with emotions.
