i slowly walked out of the bathroom. today i have a doctors appointment and i can't wait to see how the progress is looking.

grabbing a clean shirt, i slowly put it on and sat down on the bed. i slowly bent down and tried to grabbed my slides but my back was not having it.

"mama ?" i asked.

"yes baby?" she said coming out of the closet.

"will you hand me my slides please i tried to get them" i said and she smiled nodding at me.

she grabbed them from the corner of the room and put them down by my feet.

"thank you" i smiled.

"ofc love" she said.

she helped me up and she grabbed her phone and keys and we headed to her car.

"we're headed to my doctor appointments" i said to aja and jack.

"okay boo good luck" jackie said.

"and text us" aja said and i nodded.

"thank you and i will" i said smiling. we got into her car and headed to the doctor. once we got there i signed in & we waited.

i could see and feel my leg bouncing 250mph and honestly i am really nervous.

"baby stop.. your fine it's gonna be okay i promise" gabby said touching my thighs.

a few minutes later the doctor came out and called me name.

"copper" she said.

we got up and walked hand in hand and she led us too a room and i sat on the little bed thingy.

"how are you ?" she asked.

"i'm okay, just trying to make it" i said laughing.

"aren't we all" she said.

"so how are we feeling ??"

"my back hurts and the pain pills aren't helping. they also gave me sleeping medicine and it doesn't help" i said.

"okay we're gonna take an x-ray and see how your back looks and then we go from there on which medicine to will help" she said and i nodded.

"can she walk much ?" she asked gabby.

"not much.. she can only stand for so long and walking on makes it hurt more but she refuses to get a wheelchair her doctor recommended it" gabby said.

"and what's her mood most of the time ?" the doctor asked.

"really irritated.. like sometimes she'll get mad at me and yell and throw things but it's mostly the side effects of her medicine" she told the nurse.

"okay let's go get a x-ray and see what it's looking like hopefully we see some progress" she said.

gabby stood up and held her hands out for me and i took them and she helped me down.

"thank you ma" i said.

"ofc.. you gone be good baby" she said.

she helped me too the other room & the nurse grabbed a wheelchair for when we was done.

i laid down on my stomach and she turned the lights off & the machine started moving and making noises.

5 minutes later we were done and she helped me up and i sat down in the wheelchair and she wheeled me back into the other room.

she let us know that it would take up too 10-15 minutes. so gabby and i were talking about random things to run down time and i was on shein.

"ouu this is so fire you think i should get it ?" i asked showing her my phone.

"get it, once you style it you gone look good" she said making me blush.

10 minutes later she came in & let me know how my back is doing.. ofc there is progress but it's still fractured so they reminded me to stay in bed as much as possible.

she prescribed me new medication and prescribed me a back massager which i am really excited about using lol.

"what you wanna eat mama ?" gabby asked as she helped me into the car.

"idm im not really craving anything specific" i said and she nodded.

i texted the gc and let them know because they both worry 24/7 lol. it's cute tho.

i hearted they messages and set my phone down on my lap. im sleepy and ready to take a nap.

"sleep baby ?" gabby asked.

"mhm" i said as we held hands. she used her left hand to drive.

gabby💋.

"she's been sleeping for 6 hours" i smiled at them. as high fived each other as we smiled.

"im so happy to hear that!! hopefully she can get more sleep now" aja said.

"exactly, i think that back massager is really helping" jackie said and i nodded.

a few minutes later i walked into her room to wake her up because she might not be able to sleep tonight.

i carefully leaned over her and kissed her repeatedly.

"wake up baby" i said. she stirred from her sleep and opened her eyes. leah smiled at me.

"hey" she said through her groggy voice.

"hii baby how you feel ?" i asked.

"better, it really helps" she said.

"im glad baby" i said kissing her lightly.

"can you cuddle with me ??" she asked and ofc i couldn't say no to her.

"how could i say no to you ??" i asked giggling.

"you can't" she said smiling.

i got into bed beside her and she wrapped her arms around my waist. i massaged her back and she turned on netflix.

"i can't wait to get better" she said.

"i can't wait for you to get better either mama" i said.

"not only that so i can eat yah p-

"BABY" i yelled stopping her.

"ohh sorry" she mumbled making me giggle.

"your so unhinged lol. but it's okay cus im tryna get ate too so i don't mind" i said and she smirked at me making me lai go and shake my head. im glad she's getting better.
