we rolled our suitcases to our hotel room. we just landed in NY for the game to support aja and jackie and in the semifinals.

"ugh" kahleah said plopping down on the bed. i giggled and walked to the bathroom. after coming out i saw kahleah still in the same spot.

"baby what you wanna eat ?" i asked. she didn't say anything so i walked over to her. i watched as she slept peacefully making me smile and shake my head. i took some pics of her and laughed.

i put the cover over her before kissing her forehead. she couldn't sleep on the plane so i can imagine how tired she is.

i got into bed beside her and she wrapped her arms around my waist making me smile. she's so clingy but she's so cute so i don't mind.

jackie: hey gabby did you guys make it ? kahleah never texted me back.

gabby: we did just landed 10 minutes ago.. she's sleeping lol. as soon as she touched this bed she out.

aja: our poor baby tired huh ??

gabby: yes 😫, she couldn't sleep on the plane.

i hearted their messages and got on tiktok. lately leah's been sleep deprived so im hoping she will sleep as much as possible before the game.

3 hours later🫶🏾.

"baby let's go you gotta get ready" i said lightly shaking her.

"no i don't wannaaa" she whined. i laughed and walked over to her straddling her waists.

"mama let's go. we're gonna be late come on" i said. i leaned down and kissed all over her face hoping it would wake her up.

i felt her hands roam my waist and then down to my butt gripping it.

"fine im up" her sleepy voice said as she looked up at me.

"good let's go" i said getting off of her. i pulled her up and she went to the bathroom to get dressed.

i was wearing jackie's jersey and kahleah is wearing aja's jersey because we both picked up the first one we saw.

15 minutes later she finished getting dressed and we headed to the arena hand in hand. we sat behind the aces bench.

"look up" kahleah said to me making me look up. we were both on the jumbotron. we looked up and waved.

we saw that the game was starting and we cheered loudly as jack and aja walked onto the court.

"hey boo" jackie mouthed to me.

"hey good luck" i mouthed back. she thanked me and smiled and then i wished aja good luck as well.

"hey im gonna go to the bathroom" kahleah said.

"okay you okay ?" i asked. i noticed that she has been really quiet and she also been irritably nervous.

"yeah it's just bad anxiety" she said.

"well do you want me to come with you baby ?" i asked holding her hand.

"no it's okay one of us gotta make sure we dont miss a jack or aja shot" she said making me nod.

she walked to the bathroom and i turned my attention back to the game and the aces are up. all of em is cooking. kelsey, aja, jack, and chelsea.

and then we got ac and tip cooking off the bench. i feel like they really gone get this 3peat! im so proud of them even if they don't win.

the aces ended up winning which make this day 10x special.

"congratulations guys" i said hugging my best friends.

"thank you bestie and thank you for coming. it means so much to us" jack said.

"okay im sure gabby is wondering where we at so let's go" aja said.

we walked onto the court and gabby came over to us & she hugged aja and jack. and she went to talk to tiffany cuz there good friends!

"okay let's do it!" chelsea said and i nodded.

kelsey handed me the mic and i turned it on.

"may i have everyone's attention ? i asked as everyone got quiet. i saw gabby look at me.

"as you guys might know my name is kahleah and i play for the phx mercury. jack and aja are my two best friends but i wanted to make this extra special for a special girl."

"my girlfriend gabby" i said. i held my hand out for her and she grabbed it as her cheeks were red.

"i just wanted to show & tell you how much i appreciate you. we've been through so much together and i want you to know your the only girl i will ever want." i said. i could tell she was about to cry cus she's so sensitive and her eyes started to water.

(we gone pretend i skipped and they been together for a year and a half now i was too lazy to skip so bear with me 😭).

"so with that being said" i said.. i pulled the ring out of my pocket and got down on one knee.

gabby stared at me with her hand over her mouth in disbelief. it's really been a year and ik i wanna marry her and her only.

"gabby will you marry me ?" i asked.

"omgg baby.." she whispered.

"yess ofc i would love too" she said making me smile.

"she said yes guys" i said as everyone cheered.

i stood up and slid the ring on her finger spinning her around.

"i love you so much" she said.

"AH CONGRATS MY BABIES" jackie yelled hugging us.

"hey keep it cute now" i said as we all laughed.

"ofc.. she texted us and told us she wanted to propose to you and we suggested she do it here since it's where yall both are most happy" aja said.

we decided to go eat pizza and then head to the club to celebrate aja nem win and our engagement. never thought i would be getting married but im glad gabby came into my life.
