"YUHHH" i yelled as jewell and i bumped chests.

"good work today ladies.. the energy was there and i love it. we gotta be playoff ready to let's continue to work hard & give it 100% everyday" noelle said.

"STORM" we yelled. we headed to the locker room.

"okay gabby finish the lyrics..riding with my twinnem" ezi said putting her camera in my face.

i started to think cus ik i heard that song before but my mind so bad.

"and we all look good asf, she say she my opp but ionk her i had to look her up" i rapped as everyone hyped me up.

"PERIOD" nneka said.

"okay nika finish the lyrics.. baby i don't like"

"LIVING UNDER YOUR SPOTLIGHT" nika yelled making us laugh.

"yuhh. vibes are there! y'all understood the assignment" ezi said.

i picked up my phone and saw that kahleah texted me. she texted me when i was in practice so i hope she don't think im ignoring me.

papi😫: morning mama.. i hope you have a good practice 🖤.

mamas🥰: i'm sorry love i was on the court and didn't have my phone. practice was good and vice versa baby🩷.

i finished getting dressed and said bye to the team before heading home. i hate being away from kahleah but we both doing what we love so it's all worth it.

i grabbed some clean clothes and started my water. while i waited for it to warm up i scrolled  on tiktok. a few seconds later i hopped in the shower.

after my shower i grabbed my phone to check the time because usually kahleah is out of practice by now and she didn't tell me if it was gonna run late or not.

i texted her again.

mamas🥰: baby you okay ?? you usually be out of practice by now.. call me asap 🫶🏾🫶🏾.

i got into bed and turned on netflix to distract myself from the fact that she's not texting me back. no insecure stuff just worried tbh.

15 minutes later i felt my phone buzz making me pick it up & i saw her name come across the screen making me release a held breath.

"hey ma" she said.

"hey you okay ?" i asked.

"yes my bad.. practice did run late and coach didn't even realize" she said and i nodded.

"but how was yours ??" she added.

"it was good! i love it & i love the team so much and they made me feel so welcomed" i said smiling.

"that's good. im happy for you baby. you should've came to phoenix tho" she said making me laugh.

"ikk im tired of being away from you" i sighed.

"me too. i'm clingy as h*ll and i wanna be in yo skin all the time" leah said.

"so i have a question" i said.

"ask me".

"so yk how we're like an official couple ?" i said.

"yeahh why ?"

"well i just wanna know what you see in your future".

"us. i see us getting married and maybe having a few babies. i see us both still being on the court and breaking records" she said making me smile and blush.

"and you ?"

"same. i see us getting married and having kids as well. it's what i want." i said.

"well good cus you stuck with me. welcome to death row baby" she said making me smile.

"yk im yours forever baby." i told her.

"aye but you carry the babies tho" leah said.

"that's fine i would love too.. but why can't you do it as well ?"

"because im scared" she said.

"and what you think i am ?" i said laughing.

i grabbed my phone and walked downstairs. im craving a fruit bowl so we're gonna make one. simply and easy.

"maybe you should go check on her" i said.

"yeah i was thinking about pulling up" jackie said.

"i miss you tho twin.. it's weird not having my best friends by my side" i admitted.

"aww i miss you more twin. ik it's hard especially since aja and i have each other and you feel like you don't but yk im always one call away" she said making me smile.

"and yk its vice versa" i said smiling.

after talking to jackie aja finally texted back in the gc. like it take her 3-5 business days to stop being mad lol.
