Epilogue
Twenties years had passed since that fateful day. Cassandra held Draco's hand laughing as she watched her children run around the guild. "You know, Mari," her husband cooed, "To bad you didn't inherit your father's magic. I was thinking about how useful his healing property would have been." Cassandra laughed as she stared into his eyes. Her father's purification magic, healed everyone around them. She had thought she lost Draco only to find him smiling at her once the bright light cleared.
Since that day, Draco had insisted on calling her Marionette. Although she hated the name at first, it has grown on her, now she was more than happy to tell everyone her real name. She couldn't have been more happy when she found that Razor and herself had become separated being once more allowing them both to have their separate lives. Razor and Sonya had gone back to their mervillage where they are happily married.
Hovering towards the window, she stared into the blue sky. Captain Eliza disappeared after the whole ordeal and hasn't been heard of since. Perhaps she made a new crew, or perhaps she's in hiding forever. So many lives were lost in the shortest amount of time. The biggest loss for her, her parents. Her mother's soul was troubled and her father's way of easing that pain was to release her from her body. However, the spell he used was deadly to its user.
She lowered her gaze into the garden that the window overlooked. Her eyes widened and tears began falling down her cheeks. She watched as her parents walked hand in hand down the stony path towards the fountain. They stopped and held one another's hands, gazing deeply into one another's eyes. Although she had caused many problems in the end, there was no doubt they still loved each other. Her father pulled Astrid in for a hug before turning towards the window and waving. Cassandra waved back and watched as they disappeared into nothing. That will be one adventure she won't forget anytime soon.
