It was yet another day of Min Si waiting for Bitna infront of the closed school rooftop door. She tapped her continuously out of boredom.

"I have so much time to waste" she exclaimed with an internal scoff.

Her phone buzzed with a message which turned out to be Yeonjun's.

Don't be late for food atleast.

She smiled unintentionally while reading the message. Her subconscious sometimes asked her what if he doesn't want to be her friend, but his actions made her believe him.

She typed 'I am waiting for my friend', but erased it because she agreed with him.

I can go to cafeteria now and Bitna can join me when she's done.

She decided to inform Bitna that she'll be going without her. She messaged her, ‘I am going to the cafeteria. Come to the cafeteria when you're done.’

She fast walked to the cafeteria gate but then slowed down to not show her excitement. She saw Yeonjun waving his hand in her direction. She pointed at the food counter while mouthing, "I'll get my food"

After taking her food, she came and sat on the chair beside Yeonjun. His food wasn't even touched by him yet as he was waiting for a 'company'.

"I saved you from starving." He spoke while taking a bite from his food.

She saw his food which looked untouched, and asked him out of curiosity, "You didn't even start eating?"

He struggled to come up with an excuse which she somehow noticed.

"Why were you up so late yesterday?" He asked trying to change the topic.

"I was studying, but got distracted by the phone for some time."

"Top students really are amazing."

"How do you know I'm a top student? Were you stalking me?" She used his comeback on him which made him flustered.

"Mom told me. And those words are mine."

The fact that Yeonjun and his mom talked about her made her a little nervous. She suddenly felt a person take a seat on her other side. When she looked at her side it was Bitna.

Bitna looked annoyed by something. "Why did you come here without me?"  Bitna asked exasperated while Min Si looked at her confused.

"Why did leave me there?" She asked again.

"You were with Chang Min and I wanted to come here." Min Si replied with the obvious.

Bitna scoffed and spoke, "But I told you to wait for me. Is your new friend more important to you?" Yeonjun almost choked on his food at him being mentioned.

Min Si was trying to control her annoyance from several days but it was going out of hand. She didn't want to create a ruckus infront of Yeonjun, so she turned to Yeonjun and said, "I'll be back in a few minutes."

Both Min Si and Bitna left the cafeteria fuming, while Chang Min, who Min Si didn't even notice was here took a seat infront of Yeonjun timidly and both the guys exchanged an awkward smile.

The girls entered the empty music room. Min Si was first one to start, "First of all, don't drag Yeonjun in this. Second of all, what do you take me for? You want me to wait for you ALONE while you have fun with your boyfriend?"

"You're my best friend, can't you do this much for me?" Bitna replied with her fists clenched.

"You're my bestfriend too. Do you like it when I waste so much of my time waiting for you alone?"

"So you had problem with everything?"

Min Si stared at her in disbelief, how she was victim blaming. "Chae Rin was right all along. You blamed her for everything. Our friendship was ruined too because of you."

Bitna yelled, "Shut up!" With clenched jaw, she continued, "Both you and Chae Rin are so desperate for boys. I can't believe it, I was friends with such bitches."

"What about you? You want me and Chae Rin to follow you around like minions and treat you like a fucking princess. We won't be your underling." Min Si spat everything she had in her heart and left the room, slamming the door behind her.

When Min Si reached infront of cafeteria she stopped for a second and took a deep breath. After getting back to normal, she entered the cafeteria and went back to where she was sitting. Chang Min had already left the seat before before going for a seat far away from their's.

"Sorry, you had to see that." She was embarrassed that Yeonjun had to witness the drama, so she apologized.

"Are you okay?" He asked with genuine concern. She didn't expect him to ask this. Actually, she didn't expect him to say anything and just give a subtle nod but once again he proved that he thought of her as a real friend. To answer him, she nodded with a small smile.

The rest of the meal was quiet, she didn't talk much, which made Yeonjun a little unhappy. The break ended soon and both of them went back to their classes without much talking.

After all the classes ended Min Si was walking in the hallway with her bag hung on her back when Yeonjun saw her and ran towards her. He adjusted his pace according to her, when he reached her.

"Are you still sad?" He asked looking at her with his hands in his pockets.

"No" she replied awkwardly without even looking at him.

He wanted her to feel better but he didn't know how to do it. "Do you want to see the school's terrace?" He asked hoping this would cheer her up.

She was thinking of declining but then she thought that going there wouldn't be bad idea, since she had never seen it before.

"Let's go!" She started walking and he followed her. She knew how to reach there without the security cameras knowing but she had never entered the terrace before.

They reached the terrace and the soft breeze caressed their hair. The school was on the outskirts of the city, so the air was better than the surrounding of their homes.

"This feels amazing!" He exclaimed with joy.

"I always waited on the staircase and never came here. Thank you Yeonjun!"

He stared at her adoringly while she was standing beside him and was looking ahead.
