Valentina's POV

I opened my eyes and remembered last night's event. I scanned the dark room but there was no one. Was it all a dream?

I sat up in my bed with an energy I hadn't felt in a long time. I felt better now that I had at least someone in this organization who was willing to help me.

I almost bumped into Deidara and Hidan on my way outside the room. 

"Sorry," Deidara said. "We just wanted to know if you were feeling alright. Yesterday when Konan took you to see leader we stayed worried."

"No I'm fine," I assured him too embarrassed to admit to them what the leader had told me.

"We all worried for you....except for Itachi," Deidara said as Itachi passed by. "You know he did kill his whole clan-"

"Do you have a problem with me?" Itachi asked Deidara. His eyes activated the sharigan.

"Yes I have a problem with you, Uchiha!!!"

They stopped as we all felt Konan's stare.

"Still causing trouble?" she asked me.

"What? No! I had nothing to do with it," I assured her but she took me to go see Leader again.

"I've decided not to kill you," Leader said to me. "But I've taken the decision to release the demon from your body and sealed it inside someone else."

A rush of happiness overcame me.
I could finally fit in now that I didn't have a destructive demon in me who's chakra I couldn't control.
And maybe now I can go back home to Konoha-

"But you will remain here," He interrupted my thoughts. "There's other people still looking for you due to your demon."

"Wait but what if they find out I don't have the demon anymore?" I asked him.

"They won't find out," He interrupted me. "But if they do. They will kill you because, without the demon, you are useless to them."
And the rush of happiness left me as fast as it came.

I trained for hours in the woods trying to improve my aim.

I turned by instinct and was faced with the mystery masked man who Deidara called Tobi.
I looked around expecting Deidara to be around as well, but he wasn't.

"I didn't think you would sensed my chakra," He said in a childish voice.

"Oh I didn't think so either," I said straight up amazed.

"How so Valentina?" he asked in a deep voice.

I jumped back shock at his new deep tone of voice.

"Everything okay?" he asked.

"Yes..... just didn't expect you to know my name," I lied. "My name is Valentina. I don't think I've properly introduced myself to you," I said extending my hand.

We shook hands and I found it difficult to look away from his crimson eye.
Why did his mask only have one eye visible? Was he also an Uchiha-?

I quickly took my hand away and continued trying to aim the target. I couldn't be wasting time thinking when I'm supposed to be training to get stronger.

"No, you're rushing in," his deep voice sent shivers down my spine.

He grabbed my arm from behind and position my body. "Don't lean too forward," he said. "Don't rush either."

I tried it again and aimed perfectly. I excitedly turned behind to thank him but he wasn't there anymore.
