Obito's POV

As we arrived back to the lair, I saw a figure waiting for us.

Team Taka noticed and stopped in their tracks.
They all looked at me waiting for me to tell them what to do.

I finally took a look at the man once he was standing a few feet from us.

He had white hair, snake eyes, and snake-like texture skin. There seemed to be a snake attached to his body, but I was not sure due to the cloak he was wearing.

"Kabuto???!!!!", Suigetsu exclaimed walking towards him. "What's with the snake??"

"Is Orochimaru here??", Karin asked as she looked around nervously.

"Orochimaru is dead", Kabuto assured her with a reassuring smile. I noticed he had fangs as teeth.

After he said that, Lily's posture changed. She looked as if she had been in battle for a long time and would collapse and die any second.

"You should attach a snake like yours to Lily's body", Sasuke said. "Lily has been very lonely mourning Orochimaru back in Konoha".

"Sasuke stop being so mean!", Karin scolded him. "Besides Lily already has a man to keep her company".

Kabuto looked confused and Lily turned bright red. "It's not what you think!!", she assured him.

"Oh that's right. Didn't you know that Lily and Madara are together?", Sasuke asked Kabuto in an almost mocking way. Of course, Sasuke knew that Kabuto didn't know. It was almost like an inside joke. Hard to believe. The worst lie told in human history.

Kabuto turned to look at me. Confusion written all over his face.

"Lily-chan, you should kiss your man to prove your everlasting love", Sasuke emphasized the Chan after her name. I was beginning to notice that they didn't get along.

I woke up from my thoughts as he pushed her towards me. I reacted quickly and caught her before she could fall to the floor.

She quickly let go of my grip.

"I don't have anything to prove to you, Sasuke-Kun", a look of disgust appeared on her face after saying his name.

"That's enough kids. Go play while I discuss something with Madara ", Kabuto told them and they quickly obeyed.

Once alone, Kabuto smiled at me revealing his fangs.
"Your friend Zetsu said you call yourself Madara now? And I can see you're using Lily to keep her demon by your side and win Team Taka's trust. I would be careful though. Lily was trained to be a killer machine, not as a friend or lover, and Team Taka will only follow you until you are no longer useful to them. They're only loyal to themselves", he said.

"You were one of Sasori's spies. You are consider an enemy to the Akatsuki and me", I began, but before I could attack him coffins emerged from the ground.

"Reanimation jutsu?", I said in disbelief as I saw the coffins contained the now deceased Akatsuki members who I used to work with years ago.

"This jutsu is dedicated to you. I want to show you my power so we can join forces", he told me.

"In exchange for what?", I asked him.

"Sasuke Uchiha. As you may now, he betrayed Lord Orochimaru and me. I have some unfinished business with him", he told me.

"And if I refuse?", I asked him.

He smirked, did a hand gesture that I was unfamiliar with, and another coffin emerged from the ground.

The coffin revealed the reanimation of Madara Uchiha.

My eyes widened as I saw the body.

"Where did you get that?!", I asked him.

"Don't worry. I haven't told anyone that you aren't Madara Uchiha. However, I will if you don't accept my offer", Kabuto threatened with a smile.

"Deal. But I will only hand you over Sasuke after we win the war", I told him.

He nodded. It was a deal.

I looked around making sure Team Taka wasn't around, as the coffin of Madara Uchiha was swallowed again by the ground.

Valentina's POV
"You think Sasuke is on the other side of the bathhouse?", Karin asked looking at the direction where the boys.

"Maybe", I said looking at my fingers that had become all wrinkly due to being under water for more than two hours.

"I think it's time that I go back to the lair and make baby Lily take a nap", I said getting up and walking towards Itachi's daughter who was splashing in the water.

"It's nice having your daughter here. Ever since you brought her with us, Sasuke hasn't been so depressed. He seems happier", Karin said.

Well duh. It's his niece. If only he knew.

"He really likes kids. He told me that after the Fourth Great Ninja War, he will revive his clan with me!", Karin exclaimed happily.

"That's nice", I forced a smile but my eyes stayed concentrated on wrapping baby Lily on a towel and changing her to a clean pair of clothes. I couldn't help but envy Karin. Her relationship with Sasuke was going great. She managed to heal him from the tragedy. And they were happy together. Meanwhile, I was never able to have something like that with Itachi. And I never will because he is dead.
I hope I die during the war so I don't have to live and witness everyone, except for me, living happy after we destroyed that shit village Konoha.

"You should help revive the Uchiha Clan by having more children with your boyfriend Madara Uchiha!", she said seductively.

"More children with Madara Uchiha?!", saying that name gave me shivers down my spine!

"Well yes. It's obvious the baby is his. Baby Lily has Uchiha written all over her face. The skin color and dark eyes and hair. She even has a resemblance to Sasuke, but I assume all Uchiha share to similarities", she said looking at baby Lilly's face.

Yes, baby Lily looks so much like her father Itachi. If she had looked like her mother.... I probably would of killed her with her mother.

"I assume so. But I've never really seen Madara's face", before I realized I had already spoken.

Karin looked at me shock but then started laughing.

"Not in a dirty way!", I said feeling my face red.

"Do you remember that 3 years ago we used to meet in the head of Hashirama's statue so you could report the secrets to me, and I reported them to Orochimaru?", she asked me.

"Yeah", I said remembering those nights full of paranoia due to the fear of being followed and executed by my anbu teammates.

"Well the man in the statue in front of the first hokage, that's Madara Uchiha", Karin said.

"I'll see you later", I told her once I finished changing into a clean pair of clothes.

"Oh Lily wait up! Don't forget to look at Madara's eyes before you kiss him! Love comes through the eyes", Karin said and I quickly carried baby Lily and ran out of the bathhouse.
Hearing more of that romantic nonsense would depress me more.
