Healer Killer started out as Feather, a purely fantasy novel with a totally different concept. I brought back the idea of powers and the MC that controls shadows. In Feather, Sage was supposed to be a side character who reads and controls emotions. But Sage became the MC here. A lot has changed, and I shifted it over to a Pokémon fanfic.

Okay... This has been a really wild ride, especially the climax/conclusion which has been strayed too far from the original plan as I wrote it. I was just as surprised as you readers. I wasn't expecting this much of a tragedy when I first added the #tragedy tag. I let my characters do what they wanted and this was their choice. I... I never knew finishing a story would be so painful even though I've written a number.

I've written and rewritten and rewritten Healer Killer and it has been three years (ah how ominous) and also the third draft aaaaa there's this hollow feeling here because I've grown somewhat attached to my characters. It hurts because some parts are just relatable and painful and a part of me keeps delaying writing it because it can be... depressing.

Which is why I want to thank the few of you (recently it's a consistent 7-ish) for following me and Sage and co. on this journey. Based on the only person who continues to read this and because you're the only one who votes so... (I lowkey wish there are comments so I know how my readers really feel about Healer Killer)
but anyway blaziken01trainer thanks for sticking with me through this entire story. I end up writing till the end so I can hopefully focus on my studies and revision because I feel bad for making you wait for idk 4 months? for the conclusion

To be honest I didn't expect Healer Killer to get through 1K reads either so thanks everyone!

I guess next up I'll be writing a shorter story Dragon's Gate which will be my first attempt at comedy haha
And a short story Gazes Raze (if I don't drop it in the end. I've been meaning to write it since all the BLM stuff but idk I don't want to offend people or anything)
