A few minutes later, police arrived with their confused expression at the crime scene. Some of the men were already conscious at the center of the warehouse while the hostage was already freed, but Karina still standing in one place, too stunned to say anything about everything that happened to her.

"Are you alright?", one of the police asked Karina who was still dumbfounded.

"Ah... yeah... as you can see...", Karina answered shortly.

"May I know who's the one who saved you?", ask the police again. Since Karina was well-known for how stubborn she is, she told 'em about that mysterious girl just now, even tho Winter ask her not to tell the police.

"There was... this girl...", Karina answered.

"That must be her then", the police answered confidently with a nod, leaving Karina confused by her words.

"Her?", Karina asked.

"Ah. Healer. She used to call herself Healer. She did this countless times in disguise and in silence. She was a good person tho, but still, the police couldn't figure out who is she. Sometimes it's just depressing, you know? Knowing there's someone risking their own life trying to help us out. It's a crime, but we know we should let it slide", the young police explained.

"Healer? So she did this often? But... why did she save me?", Karina asked herself.

"By the way, aren't you Karina Yu? The daughter of that arrogant Yu Corp CEO?", asks the policewoman.

"Yes, I am", Karina answered.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for the late introduction. I'm Inspector Bae Juhyun from Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Just call me Inspector Irene, and I've handled a few cases from your company before. Also....", the policewoman paused her words as she turns her head away from Karina.

"Also?"

"Why is this girl together with you? I don't think she'd also be a target with those people's crime", Irene asked, pointing her finger at the unconscious Ryujin who's currently being handled by the paramedic team.

"I think, maybe because she was together with me when I was kidnapped", answered Karina.

"Gosh... that healer never knows how to stop doing her mission~", Irene said, impressed at how every time the healer helped to calm down some situations.

Karina who heard that just smirking in silence, somehow wondering who is that mysterious healer actually. Remembering that that person hurt her arm just now somehow concerned Karina.

"Now there are two people who are stuck in my mind..."

"One is Winter..."

"and now... this... Healer....?"

Karina came to her campus as usual, but she's become more silent than ever. After what happened two days ago, Karina was somehow afraid to go anywhere alone, in case someone might harm her again. Also, the innocent people around her.

"Rina, are you alright? You look... different", ask Yeji who realizes the change in Karina's silent behavior.

"I'm fine, Yeji. Don't mind me...", Karina answered while cautiously looking around her. She is afraid someone might waiting for their chance to hurt her again.

"You don't look fine at all", Yeji answered somehow a bit worried about Karina. Karina never be so quiet like this. Something happened to her friend, Yeji thought but Karina didn't want to tell her, nor did Aeri.

"Where is Aeri?", Karina asks Yeji, trying to change the topic.

"I don't know. She said her car was broken just now so she cannot come early", Yeji said.

"Ah... I see..."

While they were walking towards their lecture room, suddenly Karina saw Winter, alone not far away from where they are. Somehow Karina feel excited to see Winter today, strangely. Usually, Karina would feel annoyed when she saw Winter.

"Yeji, I'm sorry, but can you go to the class first? I need to go to the restroom", Karina said to Yeji with her tiny smile.

"Okay then. See you later", the other girl answered.

Karina then bid goodbye to Yeji before she walked towards where Winter was standing, busy with her phone right now. Karina tried to startle Winter so she tried to tiptoe as silently as she can behind Winter.

"Karina Yu, isn't it?", suddenly the younger girl said while Karina was still behind her. Karina was totally startled by that.

"How come did you---"

"Don't you know that phone screen also can act as a mirror? So yeah, I saw you", Winter answered calmly and then turn her body around facing Karina.

The time felt like a slow motion Winter's hair was swaying through the air even tho her hair is tied up in a ponytail. Without knowing, Karina was awed by Winter's charm, even tho it was just for mere seconds.

"So, what's up? It's weird for you to be here and standing right in front of me. Don't tell me you wanted to stay for another night at my apartment", Winter ask coldly.

"No, I'm not! Why should I?", Karina slightly shouted, somehow bringing some people's attention toward them.

"Wow...", Winter said again, with her cold expression.

"You annoying living things!"

SLAP!

Karina slapped Winter's left arm out of anger, but then she received a horrific and in pain expression from Winter. Winter groaned in pain once, clutching her arm tightly for dear life.

"Huh. What a great acting you have right there", Karina snickered while holding her arms together.

"It's really... hurt! You just don't know!", Winter tried to hold in the pain as hard as she could, trying not to show the extreme pain she received from Karina's soft slap. But of course, she couldn't lie to herself. Karina just hit where the gunshot wound was.

"Liar", Karina still determined with her thinking that she was acting just now.

"Straight to the point. So what's the purpose for you to see me right now?", Winter tried to change the topic, even tho she could guess that Karina might ask her about that incident from two days ago.

"Fine. I'm going to be serious right now", Karina said.

"Actually, I was kidnapped two days ago", Karina said in her low voice as she was trying to gain Winter's sympathy.

"Oh. Okay"

SLAP!

"I'M SERIOUS RIGHT NOW YET YOU JUST ANSWERED ME WITH AN 'Oh, okay'? Wow... You are totally a heartless human being, Kim"

"Gosh... my arm might bleed again later...", Winter could feel the stitches on her left arm were damaged.

"Well, isn't it normal that someone as rich as you has that many enemies around you?", Winter said.

"I know! But, this is the most horrific thing that ever happens to me. Usually, I received hate comments and letters from them... but... I've never been kidnapped!"

"Didn't your father pay any bodyguard for you?", Winter ask while still holding tight on her left arm.

"Why should he? He never cares if I'm alive or dead...", Karina answered.

"Well... at least you have your grandma... also me to protect you... for now..." - Winter

"Then... I'm glad that you were alive, standing right in front of me healthily, nagging like a middle age woman"

"WINTER!"

Winter couldn't endure it much longer. She knew she need to treat her wound fast before it bleeds right in front of the person she want to hide about it the most.

"Then if you don't have anything to say, I need to go...", Winter rushed to the nearest restroom as fast as she could, again leaving Karina alone right there.

"Geez that girl... I'm not done talking! I want to tell her about that so-called Healer..."

"Gosh... I forget to ask for her phone number again. Silly me", Karina scoffed to herself before shaking her head aggressively.

"BUT WINTER KIM YOU ARE MORE SILLY!!"

Winter locked the door inside the restroom, slowly took off her leather jacket, and place it on top of the bathroom seat. Then she sigh to herself to find out that her wound was totally bleeding.

"Huff... glad that I made it on time..."

She changed the bandage as fast as she can and dumped the bleedy bandage inside the trash can. She does know that she needs to go to the hospital for a new stitch.

"Karina, you're just--- the death of me!"

Winter exited the restroom while still holding onto her left arm, but without realizing that actually, Karina was hiding somewhere until Winter completely get out from there.

"Unbelievable. She's still holding her left arm? Is it that hurt? Such a baby...", Karina said then entering the same restroom.

Since the restroom only has two doors, Karina does know that the doors that were unoccupied just now belong to Winter. She enter the restroom without thinking much, cuz she did go to the restroom to pee anyway.

After done with her business, Karina pulled some tissue for her personal use. Then when she want to dump it into the trash, she saw it.

"Oh, my god...", Karina gasped from the view she saw.

"Who's bloody bandage is this? Seems like that person hurt---", she paused her own words, suddenly remembering what just happen.

"Winter"

Karina rushed walking out of the restroom, trying to find Winter as fast as she can outside. If she's right, Winter's horrifying expression just now explains everything. She wanted to hear it from Winter herself. Is the younger girl in hurt? Why is she's it hurt?

"Where is she? I need an explanation"
