On our way back home, Maya couldn't stop talking about how handsome Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook are.

I mean yes they are really handsome but stop swooning over them like all the other girls. It's annoying.
And jungkook is only handsome on the outside, his heart is worse than a rotten drain.

Anyway, after returning home, I finished my daily work, had dinner and came to my room.
While scrolling through social media, I came across our college fresher's party banner.

Seeing this reminded me of today's college incident.

Taehyung: Yes Y/n You have to participate or else who will I go with?

He said this with the most innocent yet expressionless face.

I was looking at him in shock. But except for Jungkook and Suga, everyone let out a whooping noise.

Y/n: W-what does i-it mean? what are y-you saying Taehyung? (Nervous laugh)

Why are you stuttering, girl?

Taehyung: What? What did I say wrong? Everyone in our group has chosen their partners now it's just you and me. And I don't have that kind of circle with the rest of the girls in our class so it's better to go with someone I know so I thought I'd go with you since you and I are friends. What is so surprising about it?

Is this the real reason?

And you all, why are you all so excited that I asked Y/n to join me?

Jennie: Actually, Taehyung we thought the girl you were talking about that you like is Y/n, that's why!!

What? No no please don't let it be me.

I looked at Taehyung curiously and he looked at me and then smirked.

bish, stop smirking and answer clearly and properly.

Taehyung: Wha-(face palm) nothing like that. But I consider Y/n as my good friend so I thought she should go with some friend instead of going with some other unknown boy.

Namjoon: See for yourself how much you care about Y/n than others. And that is exactly our reason to consider Y/n as the girl you like.

Taehyung: I said what I said. Think what you think but I won't say anything now until the day of the party.

And Y/n, I think I have made it clear why I asked you to come with me, now you see what you will do.

I smiled too. But I felt someone's burning gaze on me. Looking around I met the most unexpected eyes, jungkook glaring at me.

Boy, why are you looking at me like this?

But in his burning gaze I see hope, not anger or hatred.

Why? Does he want to say something? But what?

I shrug it off because he's not that important to me. So I don't care what he's doing or what he's thinking.

And thus our conversation ended and we all left for our respective homes
