Harry walked down to the Grat Hall after a restless sleep in the Gryffindor Common room. Only to see Ginny, his beloved Ginny, crying in the hallway. He walked to her, ignoring his friends calls, and sat down beside her.
"Hey."
"Hey."
Those were the only words they extanged, as they sat in silence, wrapped in eachothers emberaces. Ron, being tactless as ussal, walked up and said,
"Why are you two hugging?"
Harry, already agravatted said,
"Because, Ron, I love your sister, and she was crying, so I comforted her."
Rons face went from pale, to red, then he stormed off, probaly to tell Hermione.
"Did you mean it?" Ginny asked.
Harry had a look of shock on his face, before answering,
"Of course I meant it, I left you because I had to protect you. Although, based on the marks on your face, I'm guessing I did a horrible jod of it."
Ginny looked at him, and he looked back, striaght into the doe like choco late eyes. Their lips connected, Suddenly, a gold light surrounded them. When the light died down, most of their wounds were healed. Only the physicial wounds. It was going to be a long time before those healed.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
The couple walked hand in hand to the great hall, only to see that most of everyone was in their. Harry and Ginny walked to the Gryffindor table only to see Ron and Hermione snogging, and Dean glaring at Harry.
"Hey guys."
"Hey Harry, hey Ginny."
Dean said nothing, and went to Ginny.
"So, thats why you ended it, you left me for Harry Potter." Dean said.
A flash of anger shot throught Ginnys face and the whole room darkened to a mid afternoon setting that sent chills up Harrys back.
"No, I broke up with you because you are a git, and a control freak." Ginny said.
Dean went to touch Ginnys' sholder and Dean went flying back into the table.
"Don't. Touch. Me." Ginny said, using the same Mrs. Weasley like tone she used with her brothers, only, it was darker, and held so much more venom.
Dean, already scarred, ran away.
Harry only had one thing to ask, "W...why???"
