Chapter4- Engaged!

The episode starts with sanskar entering inside the restaurant, his eyes searched for his wife and sister. He walks towards them as he spotted them sitting on a table near counter ," what the hell....", he literally shouts grabbing everyone's attention to him making himself all embarrassed. Ragini and Uttara giggles as he silently sits beisdes uttara with all red face.

"What was that bhai?", uttara asked as she munched the last bite of pizza.

"You both already finished eating without waiting for me", sanskar glared them.

"Then why did you take soo much time for parking?", uttara asked.

"Because I wasn't finding suitable place", sanskar says as he was about to pick up the last piece of pizza but before he could ragini took it and eats it making him grits his teeth.

"You can order for yourself", ragini utters as she eats while his nose scrunched in anger.

"And yes when you give your order, pay our bill too", ragini says as she atlast finished the pizza and drinks the coke.

She look at sanskar and give him a sly smile while his nose flared seeing her.

"Next time think before taking this much time", ragini murmured and uttara giggles while sanskar shut his eyes,"let's leave", he murmured as he paid the bill and trio leave.

Ragini who walks towards the car felt someone presence around, she turns and found none," Will you move faster or I shall leave you here only to eat more", sanskar utters frowning while ragini looks at him and rolls her eyes at him sitting inside the car.

Ragini keeps looking outside as he droves off.

Scene shift

Laksh is shown standing infront of mirror wearing golden brown color sherwani looking all handsome but something was missing in him, it was his smile. Sujata and Annupurna was standing behind him looking at him in all Awe.

"Hayee maray choray ko kisi ki nazar na lagay jiji", sujata says as she put black dot behind laksh earlobe as he turns his face to them while annapurna nodded teary eyed.

"I never thought this day will come this soon", annupurna says as she hugs laksh who smile weakly at his mother and chachi. He wanted to smile but he couldn't even for one moment.

"Maa i am not going away, stop crying", laksh says to divert his mother and chachi mind.

"I know but still", annupurna sniffs while sujata nods wiping her tears. A faint smile appears on his lips seeing their affectionate love for him.

"Lucky", his head turned towards his brother's who was looking at him in glee. Sanskar and Adarsh were standing wearing blue color kurtas looking all handsome. Adarsh had teasing smile on his face while sanskar had a small smile. Laksh faked smile at his brother as they approach him.

"All ready dulhay sahab?" Adarsh asked in a teasy tone while laksh nods and sanskar pats his shoulder," did you take your medicine's?", he asked and laksh again nodded.

"Sure?", sanskar asked and he again nodded. Adarsh giggles turning everyone's head on him," he is practicing how to kept mum infront of his wife from now only", annupurna and sujata couldn't help but chuckles along with adarsh while sanskar smile shaking his head.

"Maaaaaaaaaaa they are here" uttara barged in all ready in blue lehenga. Laksh heartbeat paced hearing her. Its his engagement. Today. In a while. He inhaled a deep breath while sanskar looks on.

"Sanskar go and come with ragini", sujata says to sanskar who shakes his head," she is getting ready maa, she will come on her own. Come,lets greet guest", saying this he was about to move when sujata holds his collar.

"Do what i told. Don't forget you are newly married too", she glares sanskar, who nodded while pouting," biwi ai nahi ki bete ki value hi khatam", he muttered as he walks towards his room.

"Now queen Elizabeth will be taking time to get ready for the royal function", he muttered under his breath as he stands infront of his room door. "Mam, could you please come out ? Your servant is yearning to go downstairs with you.", sanskar says knocking the door. He sighs annoyingly as he didnt get any answer.

"Ragini, i am not your servant who'll wait......", his words are left unsaid as the door opens and there stands an exotic beauty infront of him slaying her look. He blinks his eyes twice and look at her from top to bottom. She was wearing royal blue color lehenga with silver color work on it. Her makeup was light but on point with her wing-it eyeliner. The silver studs adorned her ears and the silver necklace adorned her swan like neck, her straight hairs flew over her face as she put them behind her earlobe. Reality strucks his mind and he straighten his posture. The person infront of him is his enemy. Remember.

"What takes you so much time?", he asked rolling his eyes as he moves back giving her a space to step forward.

"I was getting ready, cant you see?", she replied in bored tone as she adjusted her stole not sure about her look.

"Look i am not your servant who'll wait for your arrival", sanskar replied in annoyance.

"Then who told you too?", she asked looking up at him.

"Maa told me to come with you as we are newly weds", he said as he rolls his eyes.

"So? I didn't say na. You should've gone", she says and before he could say another word she starts walking," i have no time to waste in arguing with you. Let's go", ragini says while sanskar glares her. She stops and turns ," mind holding it pati danav jii", she blinks at sanskar as she hands him her purse and starts walking again before he could protest. His eyes widen in surprised," look at her guts. This not so Queen Elizabeth ", he muttered gritting his teeth and walks faster to match her steps.

"Youuuu", he holds her shoulder and makes her turn abruptly. Ragini narrows her eyesbrow and before he could say they were interrupted by the sounds of claps. "Ragini! Sanskar! Come", he realized they are standing on the stairs and let go off her shoulder and both faked smile and look at their family and some close relatives. Sanskar keeps his hand on her waist and brings her closer while ragini does the same as the decends the stairs all smiling.

"Congratulations!!!!!" , they heard everyone greetings and smiled at them.

"Hayee mara chora chori ko nazar na lagay ksii ki", sujata says as she puts kala teeka behind their earlobes and they both take their blessings. Her face lits up as she meet her family, it feels like she is seeing them after a long time. She feels emotional at the moment but controlled herself. She took their blessings and so as sanskar.

"Where is shona maa?", she asked as she didn't find her.

"She is coming with uttara", sharmistha replies and ragini nods. Just then, laksh decends the stairs along with adarsh and, behind him stands swara with uttara. A wide smile appears on her lips seeing them but it didnt last long when she found their eyes flashing pain and a fake smile streching on their lips. Uttara decends and makes swara stands besides laksh and both uttara and adarsh decends the stairs and let the spotlight falls on the couple. SwaLak heartbear rose and fell at their chest in high pace. Annupurna nudges RagSan and asked them to go and take them. RagSan nodded and ascends the stairs standing beside their respective siblings. Ragini holds swara hands and give her assuring smile and so as sanskar. 

The couples decends the stairs as rose petals fall on them giving them the all limelight, laksh face was clearly tensed and he was trying his best to act normal with a smile. Swara,on the other hand was holding ragini hand tightly for a support.

"You look beautiful", ragini whsipers in her ear with a smile, swara look at her and smiles faintly. Swara was wearing pink color lehenga with golden brown embroidery. Her hair was curled up and her makeup was light yet attractive. Indian- jewelry adorned her gives her the wholesome look, complete and beautiful.

"You too look beautiful", swara whispers and ragini smiles nodding.

RagSan make them sits while the elders blessed them and do the rituals.

Laksh glance at her, he could feel the tension between them. He knows she avoids looking at him and she didnt spare him even one glance. He don't want to think all of this and act like a broken piece of glass but it hurts damn it. What could be more worst then being with your love and still away from it? Why was destiny testing his patience. He wants to break this tension and wants to scream I Love You infront of everyone. But, deep down in his heart he fears, he fears that his actions might not justify him. He fears she might not believe his words without proofs. Sarcastic, Aren't we? Now he needs proofs to justify his life. What more worst he could face? But, one thing is for sure that he is going to try and face his fears. He will talk to her after all this happen and that's final. He release a deep breath as he finally took a chance to adore her beauty, its their engagement and she is looking no less than a princess. He wished for this day where he could tease her,express himself and much more but it all turned out to be a dust. Sadly.

Swara plays with her dupatta as she could feel his gaze on her which is making her situation worse. It took whole of 3 hourse to mentally prepare herself to put up on an act but now, by each passing second she is feeling her state vulnerable. She don't want to show her emotions and let him think that he could break her instead she wants to portray that nothing matters to her which in reality do more. She didn't look at him for once because she knows she will loose herself in him which she cant afford at this moment. She is doing this for Family. For Family. She plastered a fake smile as Ap make them eat sweet.

"Now, they shall exchange rings", priest announced and everyone smiled.

Uttara goes and makes them stands against each other. Ragini closed her eyes and prays for them. SwaLak Heartbeats faster as they finally stood face to face where laksh was looking at her and she was looking down.

"You have your rest of life to stare her, now atleast spare her", adarsh teased while everyone chuckles.

"Shona", ragini holds swara and nods. Swara looks at her and then at her hand which held ring. She blinks and swara fakes smile as she finally look at his face and slides the ring. Her heart wrenched seeing the pain behind his eyes. She gulps down her tears which threaten to follow and moves back looking down as the hall erupted with claps. Laksh also looks away controlling himself and slides the ring making her his. The rose petals shower on them as everyone genuinely smiled and blessed the newly engaged couple as the light goes off and falls on uttara who holds mike. Ragini who was well aware of the situation felt helpless at the moment, her eyes fall on sanskar who was smiling at them. She felt like punching that idiot face for the mess he created. She sighs releasing a breath hugs swara and laksh respectively murmuring," everything is going to be fine".

"Ladies and Gentleman's, as you all may know its my bhai and bhabhi engagement and without any dance every function remains empty. So here, may i present you our newly weds bhabhi and bhai's  dance. Clap for them", uttara announced and the spotlight on RagSan. RagSan eyes widen as they look at each other and then at uttara and then nodded NO.

"Come on bhaiii, Bhabhiiiiiii", uttara cheers. Pari and Adarsh pushes RagSan on the stage and the light goes off.

Soft tunes plays as the dim lights spread arounds.

( Sanskar keeps his hand on her waist and She keeps her hand on his shoulder staring into each other eyes and moves with the tune)

Faisley jo kiye
Faasley hi mile
Raahein judaa kyun ho gayi
Na tu ghalat, na main sahi

( He twirls and her back faces his front while she could feel her heartbeat faster, his breath fanned her neck as he twirls her again and moves softly)

Le ja mujhe saath tere
Mujhko na rehna saath mere
Le ja mujhe...

( Sanskar twirls her in a circle and dances sharing en eyelock)

Thodi si dooriyan hain
Thodi majbooriyan hain
Lekin hai jaanta mera dil
Ho..

( Sanskar turns his back on her when she back hugs him and he holds her hand they dances)

Ik din toh aayega
Jab tu laut aayega
Tab phir muskuraayega mera dil

(They both dances lost in themselves while everyone look at them adoringly, adarsh and pari sends SwaLak on stage while everyone whistles. RagSan breaks their eyelock and look at swalak and smiled, they were about to leave the stage when adarsh nodded No and they continued)

Sochta hoon yahin
Baithe baithe yunhi
Raahein judaa kyun ho gayi
Na tu ghalat, na main sahi

( SwaLak hesitantly holds each other hands when he places her hand on his shoulder and his on her waist, swara finally look up as they shares a painful eyelock and dances slowly)

Le ja mujhe saath tere
Mujhko na rehna saath mere
Le ja mujhe...

(RagSan & SwaLak dances slowly slowly and twirls the girls)

Yaadon se lad raha hoon
Khud se jhaghad raha hoon
Aankhon mein neend hi nahi hai
Ho..

(Swara turns to go when laksh holds her hand and twirls her making her back touch his front and dances)

tujhse juda hue toh
Lagta aisa hai mujhko
Duniya meri bikhar gayi hai
Dono ka tha safar
Manzilon pe aakar

(Swara turns as her eyes become glassy and she moves around him twirling)

Raahein judaa kyun ho gayi
Na tu ghalat, na main sahi
Le ja mujhe saath tere
Mujhko na rehna saath mere
Le ja mujhe...

(Ragini tries to leave when sanskar holds her and lock her in his arms and slightly pick up her with her back touching his front, Ragini closes her eyes feeling him)

Sunn mere Khuda bas itni si meri duaa
Lauta de humsafar mera

( Swalak dances and So as RagSan along with the tune sharing an eyelock)

Jaayega kuch nahi tera
Tere hi dar pe hoon khada
Jaaun toh main jaaun main kahan
Taqdeer ko badal meri
Mujhpe hoga karam tera...

( Both couple dances as they keeps twirling their respective partners and end up in a fairytale pose)

The song ends and the hall erupted with clapping and whistling. SwaRag moves backward as all of them come out of their dreamland with loads of emotions running through their body.

Ragini felt different but she controlled her thumping heartbeat. Both of the sister's cheeks turned red due to the closeness while the brothers avoid eye contact.

"Woow , the stage is on fire", pari teased as she stands besides swarag.

"Yess but one more fire is left, your and bhai dance is still left bhabhiii", uttara teased while everyone laughs as she blushes.

"No, i have sprain on my ankle will do on sangeet", saying this pari hide behind adarsh who shakes his head while everyone smiles.  Soon the drum starts playing and everyone joins the stage including elders. Laksh who took this opportunity holds swara hands and take her upstairs with him. Ragini who look at them decided to follow but was soon caught by pari who drag her to stage and pushed her to sanskar who caught her at a nick of time.

"Thank you", she muttered as she tried to straighten herself but her right earing was caught in his shirt. She look up at him and he looks down protectively holding her from shoulder. Flassh!! "Aww, soo cuteee!", uttara uttered as she took their picture. Ragini removes her entangled earring and rubs her ears while he looks on. His phone buzzed,  he take out his phone and his face expression changes which ragini failed to see as her mind was occupied with SwaLak. Sanskar sneaks out from there while ragini, who dances with uttara also took a Chance and leave the place.

Scene shift

"Leave me Laksh", swara jerked his hand as they finally reached his room.

"Shona", he take a step forward and tries to hold her when she steps back jerking his hand," dont touch me", she shouts. His eyes become moisty as he stares at her helplessly," listen to me for once shona, please", he pleads while she looks away as tears fall from her eyes.

"You lost that right long back laksh when you decided to cheat on me", she utters painfully. His hands turned into a fist and his eyes red,"Nooooo", he shouts as he holds her," i didn't cheat on you, do you understand? I did not", he shouts while she closes her eyes painfully pushing him." You did and that's the truth. Listen to me clearly Laksh Maheshwari , i am marrying you for the sake of my family and nothing else. I will never forgive you. Never ever.", she shouts as she wipes her tears and points her finger at him. The ring on her finger shone which indicates their newly formed relation.

"Shona", he helplessly uttered her name as tears flows from his eyes. Why is he getting punished for the deed he did not commit? "Never do that again Laksh. Never", she muttered as she leaves the room banging the door leaving him all shattered behind.

Roke na roke naina plays

He collapsed on the floor covering his face when a hand touched his shoulder, "laksh", ragini whispers his name as she knelt infront of him.

Laksh broke down infront of ragini," i did not cheat on her ragu trust me please", ragini hugs him," shhh i know laksh i trust you and shona will realize this soon, you know her na she believes what she sees and later only she thinks on the matter. I am sure when she'll get stable with her feelings, she will understand its not you but someone else behind this", ragini uttered crying herself as she pats her best friends back telling him that she is here with him and will support him until the end. Laksh breaks the hug and wipes his tears," but, what if she dont?", he asked as he look at her as if she is his ray of hope.

"She will.. I trust you. I trust her. I trust your love. Everything will be fine soon, trust me", she blinks her eyes assuringly and smiles at him. Laksh inhaled a deep breath and nodded back smiling a little. "I trust you", he uttered as ragini makes him stand and makes him drink water.

"So, shall i adress you as jeeja ji now?", she asked to lighten the situation. Laksh smiled hearing her," i will not mind making you my adhi ghar wali", he uttered while ragini giggles and so as laksh. Atleast, she found a small glance of laksh she knows. "Thank you ragoo", laksh uttered genuinely holding her hand. Ragini glares him making a cute pout while laksh couldn't help and smile again seeing her," you are the best best best friend, everyone would ever have", laksh uttered side hugging ragini,"bhai is lucky to have you", her face expression changes as soon as he mentions him..she  plasters a fake smile and nods," we all are lucky to have each other, now get fresh and come soon otherwise everyone will come here only", she says while laksh nods. Ragini pats his head and smiles leaving the room.

"I know how it feels when your love doesn't trust you laksh but i promise I'll make everything fine between you and shona. I'll not let you both go through the pain i am in. I'll not.", she utters determinedly as a tear leaked her eyes betraying her.

Screen freezes on Ragini face.

Yahooooo......i am back..... i was supposed to complete this story before 2020 but as usual i couldn't 🙄😭😭😭😭honestly i thought watty deleted my account because of the panga i did with it😂😂😂😂😂 but Alhamdulillah it didn't .....i also forget my password and email of this account but finally recover it...... sooo i hope the chapter is now showingg and sorry for the trouble i did ....heart felt sorry to all of you..... is this my first update of 2020 technically? Yes, i think...... okay now coming to the chapter i hope it was okayish....... i just added two or more scene from  last and updated it.....i didn't check nor read so sorry for any typos....

I was going to.update bad boys epilogue but i messed it up... hopefully i complete it and update it as well.....btw, any guesses what's going to happen next???
