Chapter 14- Picnic!!

"She is alive. Sanjana is alive, Sanskar", Ragini utters making him freeze. His eyes widen and his body becomes stiff. He turns and looks on shocked hearing her. Ragini looks at him and her eyes turned misty, "I saw her. She is alive", She mumbles and his heart sank in his chest. He turns and looks at her, "Please, trust me this time", she utters as she looks at him hopefully. He looks at her and than at her hand, he removed her hand from his wrist and walks out of the room banging the door. A tear leaked her eyes as she stood rooted at her place. He didn't Believed her. This time also. Her heart pained at the thought and she bites her lips lowering her head.

"Sans-", Laksh was about to call sanskar who walks past him in a hurry, he looks on as he look at his retreating figure. He turns and looks at his room door. He sighs and walks towards it and open the room door only to find ragini shedding tears silently. He quickly turned as he found swara approaching. He straighten himself and walks towards her, "What were you doing?", Swara asked looking at him. "I was looking for sanskar but, he wasn't inside", Laksh utters rubbing his nape while, swara nodded and walks towards their room. Laksh sighs as he turned back to the room door and took out his phone and walks away.

He sat inside his car clucthing the steering wheel tight in his hands, his eyes were red as he stared at his front. He shut his eyes as a tear leaked his eye and he inhaled a sharp breath keeping his head over the steering when, his phone beeped gaining his attention. He looked at his phone and a frown comes in his face, "What are you upto lucky?", He murmured as he accelerated his car and drove off.

Ragini clutches the bedsheet as she stared at particular place controlling her emotions. She feels her mask fading away as her emotions bubbles up. She once again felt betrayed and untrusted infront of the person she loves the most. What was her fault? Why is she being punished? Till, how long this will go? When will she be happy? When will she get what she deserves? These questions hits her making hot tears stream down her eyes. She felt burning sensation on her throat making difficult for her to suppress her sounds. She pressed her lips hard and tightened her fist, "No! I won't cry for him. I won't ", She thinks in her head shaking her head as tears rolled down. A sobs released her mouth and she wipes her face gulping down the tears.

"I hate you! I hate you Sanskar!", She murmured when, she heard footsteps sound, "Laado", her eyes widen hearing swara voice and she instantly rushed inside the washroom closing the door behind and hurriedly opens the tap. Swara, who entered heard the water running sound, "She wakes up already", swara muttered, "Laadooo, come down after you come out. Adarsh Bhaiya is calling us", Swara says knocking the door and goes outside.

She tightly clutches the basin as tears streams down her eyes swiftly, she bites her lips looking at the running water and then looks up at the mirror meeting her own gaze. "Why are you crying? And, for whom?", She mutters as she sniffs and starts throwing the cold water on her face. " It doesn't hurt anymore. You are not hurt, Ragini. You are strong", She mutters with her shivering lips as her face turned red. She kept her palms over her head shutting her eyes and taking a deep breath, "I can do it", she mumbles and opens her eyes looking at her reflection and nodding. She turned off the tap and cleans her face. Her eyes were puffed out a little and her nose too. She put on some makeup and plaster a fake smile across her face hiding her emotions well.

Scene shift

"You should talk with your papa, I am not" , Annupurna says cutting the vegetables as Adarsh stood infront of him. "Jey choray tu baap banne Wala aye tu bacha thori na hai k thare ko pic-nic p jana hai", Sujata, who was also helping annupurna utters. Adarsh sighs as he turns and find uttara, swara and Parineeta standing with a stern face. He sighs shaking his head, "Please na Maa, Chachi jee we'll have lots of fun there. We'll relive our old memories", Adarsh utters as both the lady stopped and turned to look at him. He smiled resuming, "I mean just think that our family and gadodias family just like the old times. You ladies will chill and irritate your husband's together. We'll play games like before. Basically, a day to live freely away from household chores and everything. Just think maa and Chachi , just think", Adarsh utters making them lost in their heads. He turned and smiled raising his eyebrows at the three ladies and turned again towards the duo.

"So, what do you say?", He asked excitedly looking at the two mother's. Annupurna and Sujata shared a glance and then looks towards Adarsh, "No!!", Both said at a same time and the ladies shook their head at his failed attempts. "Maa, Chachi ji just say yes. Rest, I'll talk with dost and Kaka sa", Swara says coming forward and everyone looks at her. "Yes! Now, please say yes. After all, you both are the head department", Adarsh utters. Sujata and Annupurna smiles uttering,"Yes!!". "Yessshhhh!!!", Adarsh shouts excitedly and winks at parineeta who blushed.

"Picnic?", Durga Prasad and Ram Prasad shared a glance as they stared at SwaRagini. Both the sister's nodded, "Bring my phone, I'll call shehku myself", Durga Prasad utters making smile crawled in everyone's faces. "Laaado!!! Picnic!!", Swara excitedly utters side hugging Ragini who nodded her head trying her best to make her smile reached her eyes. Laksh and Sanskar wasn't seen anywhere. Everyone's become excited for picnic and Durga Prasad already informed Gadodias about it.

"Where is sanskar and Laksh?", Adarsh asked as he looked at his watch. Both the sister's glanced at each other and then at him, "Lasksh has some work", Swara utters. "Sanskar too", Ragini utters nervously smiling. Adarsh nodded taking out his phone and walking away. "Come Laado, let's pack all sorts of games for playing", Swara utters holding Ragini hand and dragging her with her. The whole day passed in chaos planning and preparing for the picnic which was not less than any blessing for each and everyone. A Family Time, After a long.

After sometime, Laksh walks inside the mansion , his forehead ceased with creases and he was rubbing his fingers against each other lost in some thoughts. "Why is there so many things crisscrossing each other. Somewhere, something is not right", He muttered into himself when, his head bumped into something. "Ouch!!", Swara growls as she rubbed her forehead and looks up at Laksh, "I....I.... I am sorry shona. I didn't see you and- and-", he was muttering when Adarsh jumps in, "Lucky!!", He smacked his forehead making his head turned towards him. "Why did you cutted the call after hearing me? Weren't you supposed to reply?", Adrash utters making his pupil dilated in confusion as he remembers his earlier words. "Wo... My battery was low that's why", he quickly make up an excuse.

"Swara! Keep an eye on your husband. I am doubting his intentions", Adrash utters in a serious tone while, swara and Laksh shared a glanced. "I have text you a number. Just talk and book the bus for morning" , Adrash says walking away. "Shall I bring your dinner?", Swara asked nervously looking at Laksh, who looks at her and nodded no walking away. Swara, finds him tensed and looks on. "Bhabhii", she heard uttara's voice and walks away.

Ragini, was looking outside window staring at the starry sky. Her heart was feeling uneasy for an unknown reason and her eyes were landing again and again on clock hanging on the wall. "Why am I even worrying for a person who doesn't care about my existence? Don't I have some self-respect? Why am I being toyed? ", She shut her eyes tightly inhaling a sharp breath. She looks down as she found a car entering inside the gate. She doesn't need to know who is back. She goes and keep her stuff back in cupboard and walks out of the room not wanting to face him.

Sanskar walks inside the mansion, when he was stopped by Sujata mid-way ," Choray! Where were you all the time? ", Sujata asked. "I had some work Mom", Sanskar replied. "Adarsh, Ragini everyone was calling you but, you weren't picking anyone's call", Sujata complained, "Anyways, they were calling to inform you we are going on picnic on morning. So, take a day off from your all works", Sujata says. "Picnic? Who wants to go picnic?", Sanskar asked shrinking his eyes. "Everyone including you too. Shehkar bhaisaab and sharmishta bhabhi is coming too", Sujata says. "I don't want to go anywhere", Sanskar utters as he walks away without listening. "Bawla hogya jey chora", Sujata muttered shaking her head.

Sanskar entered inside his room and stopped in his tracks as he looks around, he throws his coat on bed and walks towards cupboard taking out his clothes. He walks towards washroom and knocked on door. He opened the door when, he didn't get any reply. He shook his head as he entered inside and closed the door with thud. He comes out changing into his casuals. He walked towards bed and lay down. He tossed and turned and looks at the clock on wall. He sits as he looks at the empty jug beside the table. "I need water", he mumbled to himself and gets off the bed walking out of the room.

He looks around as he descends the stairs moving towards kitchen. He stopped in his track as he entered inside kitchen and found her sitting beside refrigerator. "What are you doing here?", His voice reached her eardrum but, she didn't turned her face to look at him and choose to ignore. "I am asking you something?", He repeated his words after a minute. He stood there unmoved waiting for a reply, his nostrils flared as he strolls outside after getting the ignorance treatment. "Whatever!!", He mumbled being annoyed when he bumped into uttara.

"Bhai? Can't you see while walking", uttara utters as she rubbed her forehead. Ragini, who heard her voice instantly stands, "He can't even use his mouth properly to speak and she is asking about his eyes", Ragini mumbled to herself. "Why are you running in a marathon?", Sanskar asked instead slapping her head.

She twitched her lips, "I was here to ask Ragini bhabhi about her clothes", Uttara utters, "And, you also please wear something nice in picnic. Don't wear your formals clothes as if you are going on a meeting and not a picnic", Uttara utters.

"Picnic??? Who's going on picnic?", Sanskar asked confused. "You don't know?", Uttara utters shockingly while, he shook his head. "We and Shehkar Uncle , All are going on a picnic tommorow. Adarsh bhaiya planned it", Uttara excitedly utters as she tells him everything.

"Hmmm", he hummed after listening to her, "Good, you all should go. I have some important work tommorow" , he utters making her face fell. "No Bhai-", Ragini who heard walks towards them and holds Uttara shoulders, " It's okay Uttara. It's not necessary for everyone to come. We'll go and enjoy", She said to Uttara turning her back over him and took her from there without sparing him a glance. "What the-", he mutters and storms away.

"Let me help you in selecting clothes", Ragini utters as she helps Uttara. "Laado!!", Swara also walks inside the room with a smile on her face which automatically makes Ragini smile. "Everything done?", She asked. "You didn't sleep?", Ragini asked while, she shook her head. "I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight", swara utters while, Ragini shook her head smiling, "Same Bhabhi Same", Uttara says and claps. Ragini, looks at them and then thinks something, "How about we three watch a movie?", She utters clapping her fingers. "Now?", Uttara asked and Ragini nodded. "Awesome!! Let's watch", they excitedly tells and the three immediately become ready for the movie. "It's better to not see his face for a time being and hurt myself more", She thinks in her head and nodded to herself and immersed herself in movie. 

Scene shift

Meanwhile, at a dark place a person was shown with his back facing the big screen. He took out a mobile from his pocket and dials a number, "She is stepping outside her house tommorow. I want her at any cost", A voice spoke over the phone and ends it right away.

Scene shift

Sanskar was sitting joining his fist staring at a particular place, when he felt a knock on his door. He instantly looks up and found Laksh standing. "We need to talk", He utters while, Sanskar looks on. They walks towards balcony and stands looking at each other "Bhai, there is something I need to ask", Laksh utters with seriousness in his voice. Sanskar looks at him and then sighs nodding tilting his head towards the garden. "Where is sanjana?", His body halted in the place and he felt his muscles turning rigid. His eyes caught something and he instantly turned to look at Laksh, "I don't know", He utters and was about to walk away when, Laksh holds his hand and stared into his eyes, "She is dead and I know it", Laksh utters coldly staring into his eyes. Sanskar clenched his fist as he removed his hand from his hold staring at him angrily. "Bh-", before Laksh could utters he walked away with cold expressions, Laksh hits the railing and growls frustrated moving his hand through his hairs.

A hooded person is shown hiding behind a tree staring at Laksh.

The chaos was created in Maheshwari Mansion, and it was hard to differentiate between the youngest and eldest that who was more excited for a family picnic. "Shehkuu", Durga Prasad beemed with happiness spotting shehkar and sharmishta walking inside all dressed in casuals ready for the day. Uttara and Adarsh was bickering over something while, Sujata and Annupurna was making parineeta eat before the travel. "Where is Laado and shona?", Sharmishta asked as she looks around for her daughter.

"Maa", swara screeched as she hurriedly descends the stairs and hugged her parents dolled up in blue anarkali while, Laksh followed behind her greeting cladded in white tee with blue jeans with shades on. "Where is Laado?", Shehkar asked looking out. "She is coming", Swara replied happily which makes Laksh automatically smiled staring at her.

Ragini looks at herself on the mirror cladding in red anarkali leaving her hair open, she looks towards the washroom door and then at the empty bed. She shook her head, "it's good that he is not coming", she mutters to herself as she put her belongings in the handbag and moves out. Her eyes automatically beemed seeing the happy atmosphere around her. She immediately goes and hugged her parents, "Missed you sooooo much", She utters as they blessed them. "All Ready? Shall we leave?", Ram who was taking care of other things asked. Everyone looks at him , "Adarsh, Laksh put everything in bus", Durga Prasad says. "And, wait where is Sanskar?", Durga Prasad and everyone head turned towards Ragini, who blinks.

"Umm, He is -", "I am here", Everyone looks up and found sanskar descending the stairs wearing blue jeans with red polo tee with black shades. Ragini, looks at him and then turned her head. "Come , let's go", Uttara says and everyone starts leaving with things one by one. 

Everyone starts seating on the bus one by one, Swara goes and sits on an empty place. Ragini, comes holding ice box in her hand when, swara waves her hand, "Come ,Laado. Sit here", she pats the seat besides her smilingly. Laksh was behind Ragini. Her gaze moves towards the other seat where, sanskar was already seated towards window seat and their gaze meet for nano second when, she looks away. Ragini smiled as she walks forward, 'I am sitting right behind you", She pats swara head lightly sitting besides Uttara completely ignoring sanskar. "You'll accompany me", Uttara asked and Ragini nodded smiling. "Laksh! Come sit", Ragini says pointing towards the seat beside swara. Swara and Laksh looks at each other while, Laksh faintly smiles and nodded looking at sanskar who by now look outside window. 

"I can use this opportunity to make everything right between shona and Laksh. Just, everything goes well", Ragini prayed in her heart as Laksh sits besides swara and everyone gets seated with their partner except for RagSan who, sits Seperately. Shehkar and Durga Prasad starts playing songs of their era to make everyone's mood. Everyone starts lip syncing the song except the two couples, who seemed to be in their own thoughts.

Laksh glanced over sanskar, who puts on airpords on his ears glancing outside. He took out his phone and typed something sending it to someone. Sanskar phone beeped as he opened his phone and glanced over Laksh, who blinks looking at him. He sighs putting off the airpords and his glance fell over Ragini, who was by now jamming with Uttara happily over the new song. She turned her face and caught him looking at her who, straighten himself clapping along others. Laksh slightly smiled looking at him and, joins everyone with the song and glance over swara who, was also singing happily with others.

"Stop!!! Stop!! ", Shehkar stands stopping the music and everyone looks at him. "You are forgetting something duggu!", Shehkar exclaimed looking at DP who, looks on confused hearing him. "Ram?", Shehkar looks at RP who was as puzzled as DP. "What?", Ram asked as he looks at him. Shehkar shook his head disappointed as he opened the bag he brought with him and it took out a rose 🌹 from it. DP and RP instantly smiled getting it while, Annupurna and Sharmishta blushed except Sujata, who was puzzled. "Rose?", Everyone looks on confused except the elders.

"Yes! Rose!", Shehkar utters as he forwarded one and gives it to sharmishta, "Let's make memories", He utters making her blushed. He bring out 6 Rose's from his bag and gives it to DP, RP, Adarsh, Laksh and Sanskar. "And, last one for our little doll with love from shehkar uncle", He forwarded one to Uttara who smiled taking it. "I still didn't get it", Adarsh utters. "Yes! After all you are Durga Prasad's son", He utters making everyone smiles. "It's Our friends thing that whenever we used to go to picnic's we used to give our spouses something and tell them what's in our heart. Last time , when we go you all were small kids but, this time you are also going with your spouse's. So, you should continue it being our children's. Got it?", Shehkar explained while, Adarsh instantly smiled. "It's so cool!", He utters smilingly while, Laksh and Sanskar looks on hearing him.

"Well, I have done my part. Now, it's all your turn", Shehkar utters as he goes sits besides sharmishta and looks on. "Come on, Papa", Adarsh cheered as DP forwarded the rose towards AP whose cheeks were resembling the color of rose by now, "I Love you Annu", He utters making her blushed as she hits his shoulder slightly making everyone's clapped except the two couples who, by now was feeling mixed emotion and was stealing glances. "Dad!", Uttara teasingly utters while, Sujata puts on shades instantly feeling shy " Thank you for-" , Rp stopped for a moment. "Say na jii", Sujata utters after a minute. "Food. Thank you for making delicious food", Rp utters nervously giving her a rose while, everyone's laugh and claps while, Adrash whistles. "Only this?", Sujata pouts and throws shades on him turning other side. "Bhaisaab", RP looks at DP who shrugs.

"Adarsh!!", Shehkar utters. Parineeta shyly looks down hearing him while, Adarsh smiled. "Bhai, No No", Sanskar mutters to himself feeling all nervous. "Drop it Bhai", Laksh also mumbles in his heart nervous as he glanced at swara. "Can I pretend to sleep?", Ragini think in her head gulping. "Why I am feeling so nervous?", Swara thinks in her head as she bites her lips. "Thank you for making me the happiest man alive", Adarsh utters giving her rose making everyone smile and claps except the four who claps nervously.

"Gone", Sanskar utters as now everyone's head turned towards him, "Champ?", Shehkar titled his head from his seat and looks at sanskar , who looks on. "Where's Ragini?", Parineeta asked. "Here", Uttara raises her head and Ragini, looks down. "You can go and sit besides now Bhabhi", Uttara utters while, Ragini gulps. "Let's Lucky do it first", Sanskar instantly utters making SwaLak eyes go wide. "But-", before SwaLak could say Ragini jumps in "Yes , Let laksh and shona do it first. Go Laksh", Ragini pats his back from behind and shared a glance with Sanskar.

"Uhm- Okay!", Laksh utters as he now turned his face towards Swara, who looks at him. He forwarded the rose and looks into her eyes, "I want to live my every moment with you till my last breath", He utters making her heart skip a beat as sincerity was clearly shown in his eyes. She took the flower from his hand locking her eyes with him which, get break by the sounds of claps. "Aww!! He is more good at lines than duggu. Good Job Champ!", Shehkar compliments while, Laksh smiled. "Atleast this useless learned some good thing from me", DP utters." It's seems like a competition going of these touchy lines", Uttara utters giggling. "Yes! And, Sanskar is still left", Adarsh utters. Now, everyone including SwaLak looks at him.

"Laado! Go and Sit besides him", Swara says signing Uttara who , nodded. "It's okay, I can give it from here", Sanskar utters forwarding the rose. Ragini, was about to take it when laksh stands and push his hand towards him. "No! Not like this bhai", he slightly smirked as he makes Ragini, sits besides him. "In this thing, he is gone on his father only", Dp utters while, sanskar shook his head. "I mean it's-", he was about to retorts when, shehkar utters, "It's OKay, Champ. These all are moments which comes only once. Let's make it special for each other", Shehkar utters winking at Sanskar And looks at Ragini who, was fidgeting with her stole. Laksh, sits besides swara again with a smile looking at the two.

He coughs as he holds her hand instantly making her eyes wide. He sighs licking his lips as he finally stared at her making her heart skip it's beat, "I Love You!", He utters as he stared into her eyes and instantly draws his back after giving her a rose and instantly sits straight. "That was intense", Adarsh commented clapping with everyone. "Now, we can start music", RP says and they started the music again singing along.. it feels so damn real....She clutches the rose in her hands and a throne prick her hand, "Ouch!", She winced gaining his attention whose hands instantly grabbed her hand analyzing. "Can't you be-", She instantly draws her hand back staring at his face. "No one is seeing here. So, don't act", She coldly utters as she successfully dodged the overpowering feelings she just felt a moment ago and turned her face swiftly towards other side ignoring him.She inhaled a deep breath blinking back the moist in her eyes while,  He grits his teeth turning his face to other side.  Two parallel sides waiting for an end to meet.

After sometime, they all reached the resort which contained all kinds of entertainment for a happy family time. Few families were present at the picnic spot. They successfully unloaded their stuff and had their brunch beneath the shade in a cool garden. "Let's play some game", Parineeta suggested. "What should we play?", Uttara asked. "Basketball?", Laksh utters. "As if, everyone knows how to play", Adarsh smacked his head making Uttara giggles. "Cricket?", Sharmishta utters. "Yes! Let's play cricket. Girls'vs Boy's", Uttara utters. " Good idea!", Adarsh utters. Sanskar, looks at them with a smile and gets up taking his phone. "I'll be back", he utters and leaves. Ragini shook her head as all of they decided about the game."let's make a bet too?", Swara utters. "Yes! The one who looses will cook each person favourite dishes. Since, we'll won it's a punishment for boys", Ragini utters and SwaRag hified. "We'll see that child", Shehkar utters and everyone agreed. Parineeta becomes an empire while, everyone else enlisted to play. Laksh looks at sanskar from far and shook his head, "I'll call Sanskar and Come", He pats Adarsh who, nodded.

Sanskar was fidgeting with his phone staring at the sky, "Bhaiiiii", He turned and find Laksh approaching. "Come let's play", He utters. "You all should play", He utters. "I messaged you something didn't you read? Can't you just forget everything else and be like our old times just for today?", Laksh asked as he looks at him. "Please, bhai. For them", He points towards their family who, was happily preparing for the game. Sanskar nodded while, Laksh smiled snacking his hand around him as they walks towards where everyone is. Ragini, looks on as she found sanskar approaching. Everyone stands with their teams opposite each other, DP and Ap stands opposite hand shaking, "All the best", Shehkar and Sharmishta does the same. "Hit the ball not anyone's head with head", Rp said instead making everyone laugh while, Sujata twitched her lips. The handshake followed by Adarsh and Uttara. "Best of luck", Swara and Laksh smiled at each other slightly shaking hand. While, RagSan just shake their hands without glancing at each other.

A binocular was shown pointing on them from far, the person clicked on the bluetooth, "I can see them", He utters over the bluetooth. "Just wait for the right time. I need that girl by today", He nodded hearing a voice and the calls goes beeping. He looks at his side and stared at the chlorophyll bottle on the seat and returned looking at them through his binoculars.

The game begins with girls teaming batting and boys teaming balling. Annupurna and Sharmishta was on pitch while, Shehkar was on balling. "Champs!!!! Look how to take wickets", He said as he runs and gives a fast ball to AP, who got scared by the sudden speed and turned to other side giving a clean wicket to them. The boys (elderly too) over joyed with happiness while, Ladies slaps their forehead. Followed by Sharmishta, everyone starts playing one by one. Next, one was Sujata who throws the bat instead of hitting due to which it directly hits the wicket. Sharmishta and Uttara started playing and they played well. "I think you are destined to get bowled by me GF", Sanskar utters as Shehkar boost him. "If you can't then I will surely bhai", Laksh utters. "You are saying this from past 3 overs and you are continuously giving her runs so, shut up Lucky", Adarsh utters. "He is useless", Dp utters. "Like my father", Laksh utters making everyone laugh while, Dp nostrils flared.

"Go Maa! You can do it", SwaRagini boost their mother with cheering. Sanskar glanced at them swinging the ball in his hand. Ragini glared at him and turns her attention towards Sharmishta. Sanskar took the chance and aims the ball which Sharmishta luckily hitted and took run with Uttara, who unfortunately got out by Laksh who aims the ball at wicket. "Yessss!!", Both SanLak shouts overjoyed and hugged each other. "Well-done", Adarsh pats their backs. "Laado, now it's your turn", Swara utters. "Go win Bhabhi!", Uttara utters. Ragini, nodded as she tied her stole around her shoulder and adjusted her hat. She took the bat and comes on ground. "She is our last wicket, Lucky! Be Ready!", Sanskar utters swinging the ball on his hand. "Shooonaaa!! Don't worry. I won't loose this easily", Ragini, shouts as she pinched her nose and stands infront of the wicket. "Ready to loose", Sanskar mumbles throwing the ball which, she lips read, " Never", She shouts as she hits the ball with full force resulting in SIX. Girls cheered hooting for Ragini, who smirks looking at sanskar expression. "Lucky! Let's get it", Sanskar shouts as they begin playing and Ragini starts dodging his balls imagining him instead of balls. In the last, ball Sharmishta got out and Swara comes. "You handle it", Sanskar throws the ball towards Laksh who, smiled nodding.

"If I am not wrong and you play just like as our childhood then be ready to go back at the first ball only ", Laksh shouts pointing at swara, who tightened the stole around her shoulder and looks at him. ,"Let's see", She utters when, laksh smiled throwing the first ball which she successfully hitted. "Don't forget, I am grown up now", Swara shouts as she hitted while, Ragini jumps happily, "Go Shona!". "We are gone now , bro", Adarsh utters patting Laksh back. "Don't underestimate us bro, they wont make it to 20 overs", Sanskar utters enough for Ragini to hear who, was standing there. She turned and gives a look to sanskar, "All the best , Bhaiyaa. Be ready to loose and cook for us ladies today", Ragini utters slightly smirking and gets back to game. SwaRagini, played well till end making scores with each balls. Everyone had a good time forgetting each and everything disturbing and corrupting their minds living like an old days. They seems more comfortable and at an ease then before. Now, after successfully making a score they gives target to boys who, seems confident over their win.

The game started with Adarsh and DP , who plays well but, Annupurna winks at DP who looses his focus and got out. Followed by Rp and Shehkar who also got fooled by their respective wife's tricks in which Sujata aims to hit Rp who moved aside to save himself giving them a wicket and Shehkar who was playing well gets tricked by Sharmishta slow paced bowl who, becomes faster at the end gaining a wicket." It's good pari can't play otherwise these ladies, hufff!!", ADRASH utters. "What did you say?", Parineeta says over a mic and Adarsh shook his head. "Nothing! Nothing", he utters making everyone laughs. "Come Sanskar!", Adarsh says. Sanskar nodded as he put on his cap and holds his bat , "Bro! Don't get out please", Laksh utters patting his back. "Don't worry, I'll win", he utters assuring. "I'll do balling", Uttara utters as she balls against sanskar who, starts hitting sixers from the starting, "That's why I named you champs", shehkar shouts hooting and clapping. Adarsh got out by Sujata by chance soon after they changes the sides and Laksh comes as a last batsman.

"Let's show SanLak power bro!", Both fist pumped with each other as swara took the charge of balling. She throws the ball at him, he flys the bat in air making the ball fly high. "Laado! Catch!!", Sharmishta shouted as the ball was landing towards Ragini who, panicked  and jumps trying to catch the ball but, fell down twisting her leg. "Ouch!", She winced as the ball dropped touching her hands. The boys sighs while, the girls group disappointedly shouts. Sanskar, walks towards her and forwarded her hand, "Don't act like you are good in everything", He taunted as he stared at her down. She looks up holding her feet and glared at him, "Isn't it better to not to be good in everything instead of being heartless and demon? Right, Pati Danav Ji?", She mocked as she stands on her own ignoring his hand. "Laado! Are you okay?", Swara shouts. "Yessss! I am more than I can ever be", Ragini replied. Sanskar sighs shutting his eyes and tilted his head clutching his hand in a fist, "Sanskaaar!!", He gets back to his position after their calls.

"You sure okay, beta?", Sharmishta asked. "Just a little twist, I am okay", Ragini blinks at her mother and switches position with Sujata. She felt a contrasting pain in her feet but, choose to ignore and concentrate on game. Laksh and Sanskar plays well with every ball. It was Laksj turned and Sharmishta bowling, Ragini was standing at the back covering the area behind Sharmishta. She sits on ground as she felt immense pain holding her feet, Sanskar, who was standing on his place turned and saw this. He shook his head as he looks at everyone, "she wants to create a scene", he mutters as he called adarash and gives him a bat. "Just play in my place, I'll be back", he utters as he removed his gloves and walks towards her. Ragini, who felt a shadow over her looks up and found sanskar and then at the ground, " You-", She was about to say something when he knelt on ground holding her feet. "Don't forget that we are happily married infront of others. So, your pain should effect me", He utters as as he moves her feet and pressed it hardly making her fist hitting his back, "Ouch", he hissed while, she hitted him again, "Ouw! Ah! My pain doesn't effect you it only makes you happy", She utters as she hold her feet. He glared at her standing , "Stand up and then talk nonsense", He utters as his nose flared and he get back to game. Ragini, moved her feet and found all her pain vanished. She stands and looks at her feet and than at sanskar, who by now is playing. "Laado? Are you okay?", Swara asked coming towards her. "Yes! Shona. See", Ragini jumps showing her and then towards sanskar. Swara, smiled Lightly and nodded and they also begin playing.

"Didi!", A child pulls her stole. Ragini, turned and looks at him. "Can you help me?", He asked innocently. "My ball is stucked there", He points at a place. "OfCourse! Come", Ragini utters smiling. She turned and looks at her happy family and smiled. "I want their happiness always", she thought in her head and smiled. Sanskar, who was playing saw her leaving somewhere. He was unable to see the child. Ragini, followed the child towards the restricted area in the forest at the other side of resort. "Beta! Where it is?", She asked and a child points at particular direction. "You stay here and don't move. I'll just come", she smiled patting his forehead and moved inside. A hand forwarded the chocolate towards the kid who, smiled happily taking it, "Thank You Uncle!", He says and runs away.

"Ball! Ball! Where are you?", She looks around when, she slipped and fell down on mud. "Ouch!", She hissed as she stands and found her clothes dirty. She shook her head as she dusted her hands over her clothes. "I will give him another ball and should go", She utters and was about to go when, she felt a sudden weight over her back and her eyes widen as a hand tries to cover her mouth with a cloth. She tries to run with her full force but, the cloth covered her nose instantly and she felt a pull backwards. She tried to shriek in her top voice but, it all comes as a muffled voice. Her eyelids become heavy as the scent hits her nostrils. She digged her nails inside his hand when, the drowsiness took over her. He moved back making her fell on ground resulting in her mangalsutra fell on mud. "It's done", He voiced it over bluetooth when, after sometime two more people come with sack and push Ragini inside it. They throw her over their shoulder's and sneakily moved out throwing her in the car and drooving off.

"Yess!!! We won!!", Swara happily jumps as she took Laksh wickets just before four runs. The ladies cheered while, the gentleman's face fell. "He is utterly useless", Dp taunted as all of them gathered. "Where's Laado?", Swara asked as she looks around. "I think she is resting inside her room. I saw her going", Sanskar utters and everyone's nodded. "Yes! Let her rest. She didn't sleep whole night", Swara says and everyone's nodded. "Let's rest for a while", Dp says and everyone's nodded getting back to their rooms for a rest instead of sanskar, who chooses to strolls outside besides the pool feeling uneasy for an unknown reason.

After Three Hours!!

Laksh comes out after taking a shower after a short nap and looks at swara, who was pacing through the room tensed for an unknown reason, "Swara?", Laksh asked. Swara looks at him, "I think I should go and check on Laado", she utters as she hurriedly moves out. She knocks on the room door twice but, no one answered.  Laksh, also comes behind her. "What happened? Will you tell me?", He asked. "I don't know- Sanskaaar!", She spotted sanskar who, was coming towards their room. "Do you have keys?", She asked and Sanskar nodded looking at her and Laksh. "Open it! Let me see , Laado!", She utters in distressed tone. Sanskar asked Laksh through his eyes who, shrugs his shoulder in return. He opened the room and swara instantly entered inside the room only to found it empty and untouched.

"Where's Laado?", She asked as she looks at him. "I don't know", he looks at on as he looks on the unpacked belongings. "Something is not right. I am not feeling good", Swara mumbles and Sanskar looks on sensing the same . "Shona!", Laksh holds his shoulder. "I'll go and check", Sanskar utters as he moves outside followed by the two. They strolls around each place on the resort. Swara, panicking was making the brother's panick too for an unknown reason. The moves around calling her name and asking about her but, got no response. "Do you find her?", Swara asked as SanLak also comes there. The sky was turning into mix shaded of orange , yellow and red hue as the sun was settling down. "Maybe , she is with shehkar uncle and-", Laksh was cut off by swara, "No, I already visited everyone before", She replies as her eyes become misty. "Bhai- you", Laksh stopped as he found sanskar approaching two kids who were playing and they also followed him.

Sanskar knelt as he forwarded his hand and took out the chain covered in mud with a aeroplane. "Sanskar?", He felt a lump in his throat as he stands and moves towards the water tap. The water brushed over the dirt cleaning the mud. His eyes widened as it finally comes in view. "Isn't this Laado's mangalsutra?", She asked as she stared at the mangalsutra in his hands. He looks up and met the eyes of the two standing infront him. He gulps as the chain dangles infront of his eyes and just then his phone beeps.

Ragini is shown unconscious tied with ropes on a chair in an abundant building.

First Update of 2021 😅 I guess. TBH, I wasn't sure about this chapter truly. I just wrote it because you all wanted me to update. So, I tried my best to keep it up with it. I know, I am super late but, I am truly sorry because I had my reasons. I am trying to come back to writing lately and this is what I wrote. I am utterly unsatisfied. It was just a family picnic totally boring with no couple scenes. I have lots of bak bak which, I'll do on next chapter. Any idea, what's gonna happen next? Please drop down your guesses
