Shivaay-"But I know it's not necessary. Annika's blood group will match with Gauri's."

     Shivaay whispered once he sat beside Om. He then turned to look at Om whose eyes were fixed on the operation theater door. Shivaay slowly placed his hand on Om's shoulder.

S-"Om....."

     Om turned to Shivaay and hugged him tightly.

Om-"Shivaay.....Gauri....."

     He managed to say only these two words as he was crying very badly.

S-"Don't worry Om. She is fine."

     Shivaay said patting on his back. But Om didn't stop he was crying and was murmuring these words,

O-"It's my mistake...it's my mistake..."

     And Shivaay was confused about those words. Once Om's tears stopped Shivaay broke the hug and wiped his tears.

S-"Om, you don't worry. Doctors are trying and I am sure our Gauri is fine."

      Om nodded in no and rested his head on the wall behind.

O-"I am responsible for this Shivaay..... It happened because of me only."

      Om said and Shivaay was confused still.

S-"What do you mean Om?"

      He asked Om but before Om give answer the nurse who went with Annika came out of the room. All turned to her.

S-"What happened sister?"

Nurse-"Blood group is same and all other things are also good. She is in good condition to donate blood."

     Shivaay looked at Om and gave a small smile before turning back to that nurse. That nurse continued,

Nurse-"So now we are proceeding further."

S-"Okay."

     Shivaay said and that nurse again disappeared into the room. Shivaay called Bhavya.

S-"Bhavya you go and stay with Annika. I am with Om."

Bhavya-"Ji Bhaiya."

     Bhavya also went behind that nurse and Shivaay turned to Om.

S-"What do you mean by that Om? Why you said you are responsible for all this?"

      Shivaay asked Om again. Om wiped his tears and started talking,

O-"Shivaay, she was not ready to come with me. But I forced her to come with me to say bye to one guest and we came out of the hall and then....."

      He stopped as again his eyes filled with tears. Wiping them he continued,

O-"Naahi mein usko aane ko bolta naahi yeh sab hota. Why I forced her to come? She wants to be with daadi and mom but I forced her saying I want her beside me all the time in exhibition."

      Om was regretting now. Shivaay made Om look at him.

S-"Om, that's not completely your mistake na? Tumhe thodi pata tha on that time only that truck will come and....."

     Shivaay stopped as Om held his hand.

O-"Shivaay....."

      He was looking shocked.

S-"What happened Om?"

O-"Shivaay I think...I think that's not accident."

      Om said looking at Shivaay.

S-"Not accident? Means?"

O-"Shivaay, I think whatever happened was pre-planned."

     Om said and Shivaay was surprised and others were shocked by Om's this statement.

S-"You also?"

     Shivaay asked but Om didn't give attention. He continued talking,

O-"Shivaay you know na that exhibition hall is not on the main road. It's in one rarely crowded road. And in that lane no heavy vehicles are allowed. So how that truck came there??"

      Om said and Shivaay was more sure now.

O-"So it's it's pre-planned only."

     Om said after some seconds. But Shivaay didn't hear that. He was already lost in thoughts. Now he was sure Pooja did this. But still one question was in his mind, why Gauri? Why she tried to harm Gauri? Another thought came in his mind and he asked Om,

S-"Annika was present there when that accident happened?"

      Shivaay asked and Rudra answered this question.

Rudra-"No Bhaiya, me and bhabhi reached there after truck went away. I told you this na?"

      Shivaay looked at Rudra.

S-"Ohh okay....."

     Shivaay managed to say only that as many questions were in his mind and he knew only one person can give him correct answers, and that person was Pooja herself. Shivaay came out of his thoughts when Om said,

O-"I think I know who is behind all this."

     Shivaay looked at Om surprised.

S-"You know? You also think she....."

     Shivaay stopped as whole family was present there. But Om continued,

O-"Yes I am sure he did this."

      Shivaay was confused again.

S-"He??"

O-"Yes he...Shivaay you know Mr. Manish Shekhawat right? He is one businessman and I think you worked with him in past."

     Om said and Shivaay nodded in yes.

S-"Yes I did my first project with him. But why you are talking about him? What's the connection?"

O-"Shivaay you know his son, Samar?"

S-"Samar....hmm he is also...."

O-"He is also an artist like me."

S-"Yeah"

O-"You know he was is London. But recently he came back to India. Now he wants to work in India only. So last week he came to meet me."

S-"For what?"

O-"He wanted to arrange his first art exhibition... I mean first in India...and coincidentally our dates were crashing. So he came and ordered me to postpone my exhibition. But I denied saying it's not any competition na...people can go where they want only. And our paintings and designs are so different so it doesn't matter if exhibition comes on same dates.....But he didn't listen and threatened me if I will not listen he will destroy me n something like that."

      Om explained whole thing and everyone was shocked as no one had any idea about all this.

S-"Om, itna kuch ho gaya. Why you didn't tell me about this before?"

O-"Shivaay you were already worried for bhabhi, choti maa and Sahil. And I seriously didn't have any idea what he will do. I thought he will listen when I explained him. And after that day he didn't come to meet me and he didn't call me so I thought he was convinced by my explanation."

S-"Om, everyone is not like you, who solve their problems by just explaining things to other person nicely. Mujhe hi dekh le...okay leave that...if not me why you didn't tell about that Samar to Rudy or others?"

O-"Shivaay, I never knew he will do something like this. But now...I will not leave him Shivaay. Mujhse problem thi na use why he harmed Gauri?"

      Om was so angry now but Shivaay was still confused. So he asked,

S-"Om are you sure? It's done by him?"

O-"Yess Shivaay I am sure. Who else would do that? Kon ho sakta hai jo meri ya Gauri ke peeche ho?"

S-"Om I think....."

     Before Shivaay continue, that nurse who was with Annika went to operation theater with blood bag. Everyone started praying for Gauri. Shivaay looked at Om who was lost in thoughts.

S-"Om, now stop thinking about all those things for a while. Our first priority is Gauri. So for now think about her only."

      Om nodded looking at operation theater. Shivaay asked Jhanvi to sit with Om. And he himself went to the room where Annika was present.

        Shivaay entered into the room and saw Annika was lying on the bed and her eyes were closed. Bhavya who was sitting near Annika turned back when she heard sound and found Shivaay there. Shivaay walked towards the bed.

B-"Bhabhi is fine Bhaiya. But that nurse said stay like this for sometime. And I think she is tired so she slept."

     Shivaay looked at Annika's face.

S-"Yeah today was her first day at office na so."

      Shivaay said still looking at her face.

S-"Bhaiya I will just come in two minutes. I want to drink water."

     Bhavya said and left from there to give them some time alone. Shivaay sat beside Annika. He recalled that phone call and also recalled what he assumed by that phone call. He thought it's Annika who met with an accident and all. Tears formed in his eyes but he didn't allowed them to come out. He caressed her hairs and planted one soft kiss on her forehead.

S-"Thank god you are fine. And you don't worry, I am sure your chutki is also fine. Yess Annika your chutki..... Hamari Gauri hi tumhari chutki hai Annika. You know when I first got to know this thing I was so shocked, surprised but very very happy. You both living together from many days and still didn't found out. Me and Om found out about this. We wanted to tell you both...but you know na you both suffered so much from childhood. So we are planning to make it very special for you both...but now this..."

     Tears rolled down from his eyes. He wiped them.

S-"You don't worry Gauri is fine. And thik toh hona hi hai na use. You both want to do many things together right? Abhi toh mile bhi nhi ho tum dono...toh aise kaise kuch ho sakta hai use, hai na?"

     Shivaay said caressing her hairs. He wiped his tears again when he saw Bhavya came back. Shivaay looked at Annika once and then turned to Bhavya.

S-"Now you sit with her. I am with Om and others.

B-"Ji Bhaiya."

     Shivaay nodded and then left from there. Shivaay came out of the room and went to the window nearby. Many questions running in his mind and he wants answers for all of them.

S-"If whatever Om is saying is truth, if that Samar did all this..then why that Pooja called and said all those things? Why she said she will do something if I don't listen to her??"

      He asked himself.

S-"Because she thought I will do what she wants if she blackmailed me?? Hmm may be... But still I don't know if that accident was planned by Samar or Pooja? I don't know anything about Samar so I can't blame him without knowing the truth. And at the same time I have full doubt on Pooja. She can do anything. But still it's first time na...before this she was just blackmailing me..but no any strict action taken by her...So I am not sure if she can do something big like this."

     Shivaay was unable to decide what is the truth.

S-"I have to search the truth from both sides. Don't know who did this. Before I get any proof I can't do anything."

     Shivaay was still in thoughts when his phone rings. He checked the number and realized it's from Pooja. He decided to ignore it.

S-"No shivaay. You have to take it. confirm bhi hoga na who did this."

     He changed his mind and received the phone call.

S-"Hello, now what?"

      He heard laughing voice from other side.

Pooja-"So finally my dear husband recognized my voice."

S-"Listen....."

P-"I know what you will say...but don't worry now only few days...after few days you will call me your wife and that to by your own, you will accept me wholeheartedly."

S-"Why you called now?"

      Shivaay asked her again as he don't want to listen her nonsense talks now & he don't want to argue with her right now.

P-"Ohh haa. I am seeing you...you are looking so confused and stressed about something."

     Shivaay looked around after she said that.

P-"Haha...don't search for me. I will come to meet you soon. Right now I just called you so that I can clear your confusion."

S-"What confusion?"

      Shivaay asked to confirm is she really know about this accident or not.

P-"Okay fine, I will tell you. But first tell me how is Gauri now?"

S-"She is...."

      Shivaay stopped when he realized what she asked.

S-"You.....You know about her?"

P-"Of course, what kind of question is this dear husband. Mujhe nhi toh aur kise pata hoga. But I am sad. You know as per my plan Gauri has to be with her beloved Shankarji right now. But to my badluck she is still in hospital."

      Pooja said and Shivaay clenched his fist.

S-"So I was right. You did this."

P-"Woww you know me very well, hai na? Well yeah you are right, I did that."

S-"Why? Why you are behind our family now."

P-"Why means?"

S-"You have problem with me and Annika right? Then why you are troubling our family for that?"

P-"Small correction husband, it's Annika only...I have problem with her only not you."

S-"First answer me. Why you harmed Gauri? Or you planned that for Om? But why Om?"

      Shivaay asked as he want to know the truth as soon as possible.

P-"No no my target was Gauri only."

S-"Why??"

P-"Why means? What's the need of her? I think you all don't need Gauri now."

S-"Excuse me?? What are you saying? You first tell me why you did that with Gauri?"

P-"See I am here so you all and mostly that Annika don't need Gauri now. You know right, Annika has only one sister but here two-two chutkis.. what's the need man? So I did that. Now Annika has only one sister and that's me."

      Pooja said and laughed.

P-"See I am smart na?"

S-"You are not Annika's sister. You are not her chutki."

P-"Accha?? But only you and Om knew it, right? What about others?"

      Shivaay was shocked now. She knew everything.

S-"You don't have to worry about it. We will tell them."

P-"Haha...when? When that Gauri will go to her Shankarji?"

S-"Listen you.....first you tell me why you are trying to prove that Annika is your sister? You did this in past also when you were in Oberoi Mansion. Why?"

      Shivaay asked as he remembered some incidents in the past.

P-"Offo sometimes you behave like stupid Shivaay. Why will I say that lady is my sister without any reason."

S-"What's that reason?

P-"Hahaha... it's very simple. See I tried many ways to win you. I blackmailed you, threatened you but still tumhe koi farak nhi pad raha. You are not doing anything as per my wish. So I changed my plan now."

S-"Tum chahe jo kuch bhi krlo mujhe koi farak nhi padega."

P-"Haha...I know that Shivaay. But Annika Didi ko toh padega na. Now think like this, if Annika Didi get to know that I am her chutki, I am her sister...what she will do? If you don't know let me tell you, she loves her sister so much. So she can do anything for her chutki na. That means if I am her sister, her chutki..then she will do anything for me... anything. What if I tell her that I want you. What do you think, what she will do?"

       Shivaay listened all this and his eyes widened in shock.

S-"Whatttt?? No no you are not doing anything like this."

P-"I will Shivaay. Waise kaisa laga mera plan tumhe? It's superb right...umm...in Annika Didi's language it's khidkitod right? See I am trying to learn her language too. It will help me na to win her heart."

S-"What rubbish are you talking? See Gauri is Annika's only sister and that's the truth."

P-"Ohh truth? But for that you need proofs right? And as per my knowledge you and Om don't have any solid proof to prove that. But look at me, I have lots of proofs. Everything is set. Only one obstacle is there..Gauri...but don't worry, soon she will be out of Annika Didi's life."

S-"Shut up. Just shut up. You are not doing anything like this. I will not allow you to do so."

P-"Awww, I will listen whatever you ask me to do. But not now. That will happen only after you accept me as your wife."

S-"That will never happen."

P-"That will Shivaay. You don't have any proof and I have lots of proofs."

S-"I don't need any proof."

P-"Accha let's see. For now I am going. I have lots of things to do. Bye bye."

      Shivaay looked at his phone after she ended the call.

S-"This.....no no she can't do this....I ....I have to do some. But what??"

      He was not able to decide but he recalled what she said,

S-"She said, 'soon Gauri will be out of our lives'....yess that means she will try to harm Gauri again.... No no..... I have to do something."

      Shivaay was scared now. But he composed himself and dialled one number.

S-"Hello commissioner Patil, Shivaay Singh Oberoi speaking.... I want one help from your team."

      Shivaay came back to the corridor where others were sitting. Before he says something one doctor came out of operation theater. And all ran to her.

O-"How is she doctor?"

    Om was first who asked this to doctor and others asked the same after that.

Doctor-"We tried our best. And she responded too. But we can't say anything till she wakes up. Injuries are so deep and she had lost much blood."

      Doctor answered.

O-"Can we meet her doctor?"

Doctor-"Not yet. We are taking care of some small injuries now. Then we will shift her to ICU. You can meet her there. Give us few minutes."

      Everyone nodded.

Doctor-"Now Excuse me please."

      That lady doctor said and turned to go. Shivaay was still thinking about Pooja's words and something came to his mind. He looked up and ran to that doctor and stopped her.

Doctor-"Yess?"

    That doctor said looking at Shivaay.

S-"Doctor, I want your help for something. Will you help me?"

Doctor-"Mr. Oberoi right now I am treating her."

S-"Not now doctor. After that. And it's related to patient only."

Doctor-"Patient??"

S-"Yeah patient and my wife Annika...who gave blood to Gauri."

Doctor-"Ohh...but what you want me to do?"

S-"You first go and treat Gauri. Then I will give you instructions. And don't worry it's nothing wrong.. I just want some reports."

      That doctor was confused but she nodded in yes and went back to operation theater. Shivaay turned to others.

Tej-"Shivaay what you were saying?"

S-"It's nothing bade papa. Just asking about Gauri's reports."

     Shivaay said with a small smile and came to Om.

S-"Om..."

O-"Hmm"

S-"Now don't worry, she is fine."

      Om looked at Shivaay.

O-"But you are not looking fine? What happened?"

S-"Nothing. I will tell you soon. First you tell me, police came here? As it's accident case na?"

O-"Yeah they came. But they tried to ask questions to us so dad sent them away. He talked with officers and they agreed to come later for investigation."

S-"Ohh okay. But now I called them here."

O-"Now?? Why?? You are hiding something Shivaay?"

S-"Noo... I just called them for protection. If whatever you are saying is true then that person will try to harm Gauri again."

O-"Again? No he can't do this now? I will not leave him Shivaay. Why he did that with Gauri? Mujhse badla leta na?"

S-"Om..Om relax. I want to tell you something. I think this accident is not that Samar's plan."

O-"No Shivaay he is the only one. Other than him I don't have any enemy."

S-"First listen to me Om."

O-"Hmm what?"

S-"I think she did that."

O-"She??"

S-"Pooja."

      Shivaay whispered so that others can't hear it. Om looked at Shivaay.

O-"Pooja???? But Shivaay....."

S-"Remember you saw her some days back? And you tried to convince me after that?"

      Shivaay said and Om recalled he saw that Pooja and he was shocked that time as he saw her in the orphanage where Annika stayed before Sahil's parents adopted her. And Shivaay told him that Pooja thinks she is Annika's sister. So after that Om was disturbed and he tried to convince Shivaay. But Shivaay didn't listen saying everything will go as per their plan only and he don't have to worry.

      Om looked at Shivaay.

O-"So you are sure she did this? I don't think she can do this Shivaay. It's Samar only."

S-"No Om, she said....."

      Shivaay stopped when he saw daadi coming to them. She asked Shivaay why he is looking disturbed but Shivaay said he is fine. Then daadi forced Om to come with her as she want Om to eat something now. Om was not ready but Shivaay sent him with daadi saying they can talk once he come back. And then he himself went to meet Annika.

     He entered into the room and said to Bhavya,

S-"Bhavya...Gauri is fine now. I mean they operated her. We will get to know in details once she wake up. You go now and sit with others. I am here with Annika."

     Bhavya nodded and left from there. Shivaay walked towards Annika and sat beside her on the bed. He took her hand in his and dropped one kiss on the back of her palm.

S-"Annika....."

    He then called her softly placing his hand on her cheek. She didn't move. He called her two-three times and she opened her eyes slowly. She looked around first and then her eyes met his. Shivaay smiled when she looked at him. Annika again looked around and got up hurriedly.

S-"Annika easy easy..."

     He helped her to sit.

S-"Are you okay?"

A-"Gauri...Gauri kaisi hai Shivaay?"

     Annika asked holding his hand.

S-"They gave their best Annika. Now we have to wait till she wake up."

A-"Woh thik toh ho jaayegi na Shivaay?"

     Annika asked and her hold gets tighten.

S-"Of course Annika. You know na she is dabang girl. She will be fine very soon."

    Shivaay said caressing her hairs and asked,

S-"Tum thik ho?"

     She nodded in yes.

S-"Good."

S-"You want to eat something?"

A-"Noo... Shivaay mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai"

S-"Kyuu?"

      Annika hugged him.

A-"I don't know Shivaay. But I am feeling like I am losing someone. The one I was waiting from long. But who Shivaay? Gauri?? But why I am feeling like this Shivaay.... I... I am not able to explain Shivaay...."

       Annika was crying now.

S-"Shshhh Annika.... everything is good. Don't worry."

A-"Shivaay, you know when you were in hospital after that gun shot... And I was so scared. I am having same fear now. But why Shivaay? But you are fine na? Then? It's for Gauri??Hmm... I know it's for Gauri but why like this Shivaay?? I don't know what I am saying but something is wrong Shivaay."

      She said and hugged him more tightly.

S-"Don't worry Annika. Like all other times everything will be alright this time too."

     Shivaay tried to convince her but he can hear her heart was beating so fast. He hugged her tightly and sat there caressing her hairs and dropping some kisses on her head trying to calm her down.
