Rudra-"O, bhabhi is not picking up my calls. What to do?"

      Rudra said to Om who was walking to n fro in the hall and all ladies of the hall sitting there with tensed face. Rudra was crying as everyone scolded him.

Om-"Shut up Rudy. Already you created a big blunder now stop this crying. I am already worried."

R-"But O....."

O-"Shut up Rudra.... Annika bhabhi don't want this, you know na? She wants him to understand what she wants. But now what if she will eat or drink something....n then blabber everything to Shivaay."

Daadi-"Om, go to Billu's office and inform Annika."

Bhavya-"Daadi, then Bhaiya ko pata chalega na about we helping bhabhi and not him."

      Bhavya said and all nodded.

Gauri-"Don't worry. We all sent her messages na, she will see. N baaki Shankarji dekh lenge."

      Gauri said praying to her Shankarji and everyone prayed too.

Shivaay's office,

      Everyone was busy in their respective work as their boss scolded them in the morning. No one was roaming around or talking with others. The whole office was in pin drop silence. The silence broke by one voice,
it was of a one delivery boy who came with lots of boxes. He went to the receptionist and said that these are mithai boxes for all employees. Ramona who was passing by corridor looked at him and went towards him.

Ramona-"What's this?"

Delivery boy-"This is for all staff members."

R-"Who sent this?"

       "Ms. Ramona" came a voice and Ramona turned and saw Shivaay there. He came to them.

Shivaay-"Ohh you came. Good now go n distribute them."

R-"But sir what's this? Our match is tonight so why gifts before match."

S-"Arre our one sponsors sent them. They said tomorrow everyone will send gifts na so they sent it today."

R-"But before match?"

S-"Why? You think we will lose?"

R-"No no. I didn't mean that. I....."

      Ramona stopped in middle as that delivery boy came to Shivaay and Ramona.

Delivery boy-"How can I distribute it? There are names written on all boxes."

      Ramona looked at him and then at those boxes. She was confused.

R-"Why they are having names too? It's just a mithai box na, you can give anyone any box no issue."

S-"No no no..... I mean.... Wait a minute"

     He called one peon and ask him to help that delivery boy. That delivery boy smiled and went with the peon. Shivaay sighed in relief and looked at Ramona who was looking at him suspiciously.

S-"What??"

R-"Why there are our names?"

S-"I... I... How can I know about it? They sent it na? Ok leave all this. Go back to your work and enjoy mithai too."

      Shivaay said and left from there not before looking at his Annika with a smirk.

      On the other side, Annika, who challenged her boss urf stubborn husband that she will complete those 5 files today; now so much engrossed in her work that she didn't get time to look up. She was so lost in her work that she didn't realize when Shivaay came there and what he said to Ramona. When that delivery boy kept one mithai box of her name on her desk, then only she looked up. She looked at that box and then at that delivery boy in confusion. He just smiled and went away. She then looked at the box and there was written her name and their sponsors name. She smiled and then keeping her pen down, she opened that box. And her brown eyes shined with happiness and her mouth watered as she saw many types of barfis in it.

Annika-"Barfiiii....."

      She jumped like a kid in excitement. Shivaay who was looking at her every action from his cabin window, smiled widely.

Shivaay-"Yaaayyyy.... Now eat them fast Annika."

      He said looking at her. Annika was about to take one piece, but stopped in middle.

A-"Sorry barfi ji. I can't eat you now. First I have to complete the work given by my stupid boss. But I will eat you once I finish this. We will celebrate our win."

      She said looking lovingly at that mithai and then closed that box. Here, Shivaay opened his mouth in shock. He can't believe that his Annika controlled herself from eating sweets.

S-"Koi nhi. She will eat it after her work. But I have to make sure that she will eat that mithai."

      He said looking at her again who was again lost in her file and was calculating something by her fingers.

S-"Pagal ladki. Who told her to do that work. But nhi, jiddi Annika ko toh har baat krni hi hai."

      He stood there for sometime looking at her every action with a small smile playing on his lips.

S-"I am sorry Annika. But I have to find out the truth. N you are not saying it. So I have to do this. For you, for us. Once I get the truth, I will make everything fine Annika. I promise, I will make everything fine."

      Shivaay said and looked at her for once before going to do his work.

Evening,

      Annika kept her pen down and looked up. It was evening now. And many employees were leaving now. She massaged her neck with her hand and then stretched her hands as she was feeling pain in them due to continuous work. She then wiped her face and eyes by hands and drank some water. And then looked at her watch.

A-"7PM. Finally it's done."

      She said looking at the files in front of her.

      On other side, Shivaay was looking at her from his cabin. He was too frustrated now. He tried many ways to make her eat that mithai through others but she didn't eat. She was too busy in work and didn't even talked with anyone. Shivaay was keeping check on her after every few minutes. Now also, he came there and saw she was not working, but still that mithai box kept as it is. She didn't even open that in last 6 hours. Shivaay was angry on himself for giving her that work. But he thought she will not do, but she... She loves challenges na, n he forgot about it that time. But now, as she was done with her work Shivaay was praying to god that make her eat it at least now. He again looked at her.

      Annika closed those files and smiled widely.

A-"Finally it's done. Now I can go home in peace."

      She said and then her eyes fell on that mithai box.

A-"I forgot about it."

      She said and pulled that box close to her. Shivaay saw this and smiled.

A-"Sorry because of that stupid bagadbilla I didn't get time to eat you."

      She said and was about to open that box when her phone which was on vibrate mode, strated ringing. Annika felt vibration.

A-"My phone....."

      She looked here and there and got it under those files. She took that in her hands and Shivaay frowned as she again pushed that mithai box at distance.

A-"Saahil ka call..... Hello Sahil.... What? Haa I kept it in bedroom only.... Arre see on that third shelf..... Got it?... Hmm pagal ladka... What's need to call many times, you can search it by yourself right?..... Ok fine ... No not now.... I will be late, may be... No no don't worry your sSO will drop me...arre what's there to laugh,he will come to drop dekh tu....ok bye...take care..."

      She said and cut the call and looked at her phone.

A-"173 calls n 225 messages?? Yeh Sahil bhi na? What's need to call so many times just for the book."

      She said and was about to place her phone down when she saw Rudra's name on screen.

A-"And this Rudra.... he n his stupid jokes na... Shaadi ho gayi phir bhi baccha hai. I will read them after going to home."

      She said and kept her mobile in her hand bag with her other things. And then looked around and then at Shivaay's cabin. He hide behind curtain when she looked at his cabin.

A-"Almost everyone is left. But not he....Ohho Saahil told you, how he will go without his Annika.."

      She said hitting her own forehead with a slight blush.

A-"Chalo. Now time for some fun. I just can't wait to see his face when he will see I completed all files in just one day."

      She said and got up from her seat. She placed her hairs on place and was about to go to his cabin when she saw some other employee went inside his cabin.

A-"I will wait"

      She said again sitting on her chair. She looked at Ramona's cabin, she was already left and Natasha too. Annika sat there for two minutes and then she was bored and that man was also not coming back.

      She looked here and there.

A-"I am very very hungry. I didn't eat lunch too."

      She said sadly and then remembered something and pulled that mithai box out of her bag.

A-"Sorry Sahil, I thought to eat this with you. But I am too hungry so I am eating just one...ok ok 2-3 pieces. Waise bhi you don't like sweets that much."

     She said and opened that mithai box and smiled looking at that mithai.

      Here, Shivaay was so happy as he saw her taking one piece in her hand. He then sent that employee outside. Annika was too busy in her mithai world that she didn't see it.

      She took one kaju katli in her hand and ate that. She closed her eyes enjoying the taste.

A-"Ummm... Too good."

      She then ate one other mithai.

A-"Why today these mithai's taste is too good? Bas khate hi jaane ka mann kr raha hai."

      She said taking another piece in her hand and ate that too. Shivaay who was looking at her, jumped in happiness.

S-"Kaam ho gaya... Finally she will say the truth now."

      Here Annika ate 2-3 more pieces. Then she stopped as she was feeling full.

A-"Sahil you have to eat this. It's too delicious."

     She said drinking water.

A-"Shivaay ko bhi khilau kyaa? No no he don't like sweets. Kadwe aadmi ko meetha waise bhi pasand nhi hota. Stupid Kadwa Singh Oberoi. Now he will start his nautanki once again. Tell me the truth Ms. Trivedi, right now.... No no he will not say Ms. Trivedi not again after that kiss."

      She said and both Annika and Shivaay blushed. Annika kept that box again in her bag and took those files in her hand.

A-"Till now he must have left."

      She said and turned to go to Shivaay's cabin but felt drowsy and stumbled on her feet.

A-"Today I did so much work. N I am too tired now. I just want to go n sleep."

      She said moving towards his cabin and he chuckled. And went to his chair.

      She came there as usual without knocking door and went towards him. She placed those files in front of him on his table.

A-"Shivaay SIR , look I completed these files. Sorry SIR I took 1 hour extra, but still completed them in just 6 hours SIR when they need 15-16 hours to complete. Have a look SIR."

      She said in one go and held her head as she was having headache and she was confused about that. Shivaay at first nodded his head in disbelief as she still was in that 'SIR' fever but then he smiled looking at her condition.

S-"Good Annika. I am proud of you. All files looks perfect."

      He said looking at the files and she pinched on her own hand.

A-"Ouch....."

      She cried in pain. He looked at her.

S-"Kya hua Annika are you ok?"

A-"Definitely not. You are smiling at me n calling me Annika.... It's not ok na?"

      She said and he got up from his seat and came to her and stood in front of her. She just looked at him confused and again felt some pain in her head.

S-"Toh Annika nhi toh aur kya bulau tumhe?"

      He said coming close to her and she moved back looking at him in confusion.

A-"What happened to you?"

S-"Nothing"

      He said coming close to her and held her hand lovingly and started playing with her fingers. She was too shocked by all this.

A-"You... You are ok na? You ate something weird?"

      She asked and he started laughing loudly.

A-"What??"

S-"Nothing"

      He said again coming close to her and kept his hand on her left cheek caressing it with his thumb. Her breath hitched by this.

S-"Tired??"

      He asked her with so much care and she just nodded and he came close to her and slowly kissed her forehead. He moved back after few seconds and chuckled looking at her wide open eyes and mouth.

S-"What happened?"

A-"What...what you did? N...n why?"

S-"Kyu? Mera haqq nhi hai kya yeh sab krne ka?"

      He said again coming close to her but this time she pushed him. She was already feeling some pain in her head and she was too tired to. And above that she was too shocked by his moves. Till afternoon he was ok, pushing her away, scolding her and now... Now he is behaving like her old Shivaay, only her Shivaay not Shivaay Singh Oberoi. So she was too confused about it. She just looked into his eyes and he just smiled.

A-"Shivaay, I think you ate or drank something. Why you are behaving like this with me now? Are you fine?"

      Annika asked holding her head with one hand. He chuckled and again came towards her and tried to remove frowns from her forehead. She was just standing there with a confused face. He was about to kiss her forehead once again when she came to her senses and pushed him. He looked at her.

S-"What happened Annika?"

A-"You.... What are you doing Shivaay? You have any idea what you are doing right now?"

      She asked again holding her head. He smiled and took her hands in his.

S-"I know, I am with my Annika right now."

      He said kissing her knuckles. Now she was confirmed that something was wrong with him. She freed herself from him, he didn't allow but she was successful after some tries. She thought he definitely ate something.

A-"Shivaay stop this, what are you doing?"

      She shouted and then she stumbled on her feet but took support of table and again stood on her feet. He looked at her condition and knew that she was in bhaang's effect now. He smiled and said in serious tone,

S-"Why?? You didn't like it when I came near you now? Ok sorry. Aage se nhi hoga"

      He said and turned to other side with a smirk playing on his lips. She looked at him confused and came to him and made him turned to her.

S-"Now what?"

      Shivaay said faking an anger. She came towards him and hugged him.

A-"You know I don't mean that."

      She said and he smiled wrapping his arms around her. They stood there for sometime.

A-"Shivaay are you ok?"

S-"Hmm perfectly fine. Kyu?"

A-"Woh...nothing... I am feeling something is different today."

S-"Different?"

      He said caressing her hairs and she tighten her hold on him.

S-"What different??"

A-"Nothing... I am too tired."

      She said closing her eyes inhaling his scent.

S-"Toh why you did that work?"

A-"Because you challenged me bagadbilla. I have done all the calculations too. N I think that's why my head is spinning like this."

      He chuckled.

S-"Koi nhi. You are tired na. Let's sit there."

      He said pointing to the sofa and came with her and made her sit on sofa and then he himself sat beside her. As soon as he sat there she kept her head on his chest closing her eyes.

A-"I am too tired. All I want is to sleep and that too in your arms."

      She said clutching his blazer. Shivaay smiled hugging her back.

S-"Ok sleep."

      He said kissing on her hairs and she snuggled more into him.

S-"Waise Annika....."

A-"Hmm....."

S-"Tell me"

A-"What??"

S-"Why you were worried for me in the afternoon? Why you felt bad seeing my tears?"

      He asked caressing her hairs and waited for her answer.

A-"Why means? You don't know?"

S-"Umhmm... I don't know."

A-"You can't see tears in my eyes na so same goes with me."

      She said opening her eyes a little but again closed them hugging him more.

S-"But why? Who am I?"

A-"Shivaay..."

      She said instantly and he chuckled.

S-"Not in that way pagal ladki."

A-"I am not mad. You are"

      She said hitting on his chest lightly. Shivaay smiled at her cuteness.

S-"I mean why you felt bad?"

A-"Because... Because you...you are...my...my Shivaay na... Annika's Shivaay na. So...."

      She said each word with so much difficulty as her eyes were closed and she was feeling drowsy.

S-"But Annika... Ok leave that tell me"

      She didn't say anything.

S-"You gave me those flowers and that note that day, you cried that day. Why?"

      Shivaay asked and she didn't answer.

S-"Why?? Before that day you were angry on me right? So why total U turn in just one day Annika? What happened to you in just one day?"

      Shivaay asked in one go and waited for her answer. He knew she was having difficulty to speak so she will take time. But after two minutes also she was silent. So Shivaay moved back and looked at her face, she was sleeping on his chest clutching his blazer tightly in her hands.

S-"Annika..... Annika get up Annika"

      He said patting on her cheek then on her head but she snuggled more into him in sleep and didn't move a bit after that. He tried for another five minutes but she didn't respond. Shivaay looked sadly at her face and hugged her again.

S-"So gayi. She is too tired today. It's all your fault Shivaay. Who told you to give her so much work."

      He was angry on himself now. Luckily she ate that mithai after so many tries but what's the use now... She just slept without saying a single line about the thing he was dying to listen.

      He again looked at her and kissed on her head.

S-"Koi nhi. She is too tired today. She is important for me, before any other thing n that truth too. And she is too tired and she needs rest."

      He said caressing her hairs kissing on it.

S-"I will try some other time."

      He said and looked at his watch. It was 7:30 PM. Before he thinks something about what to do, his phone rings. It was from Mishra. He sent some more presentations to check. Shivaay said he will check and cut the call. Before he looked at Annika again his phone started ringing. It was from Rudra. Shivaay told him that she fell asleep after having that bhaang before telling him anything on which Rudra shouted happily and said 'thank god'. Shivaay was confused but Rudra said that he was watching match nothing else. Shivaay cuts the call and looked at her.

      He got up and lifts her in his arms and went to the adjacent room to his cabin and made her lie on the bed there.

S-"I have to check those presentations. After that I will drop her home."

      Shivaay said covering her with duvet. Shivaay stood there looking at her face for sometime and then turned to go. He stopped next second as she held his hand. Shivaay turned back looking at her hand first and then looked at her face. Her eyes were closed. Shivaay smiled and bend down to remove his hand from her grip when,

A-"Again you are going leaving me alone, hai na?"

      Shivaay instantly looked up and saw she was opening her eyes. She opened her eyes, not fully but just a little, and looked up at him.

A-"Why you always leave me alone n go away?"

      She asked and he chuckled sadly.

S-"You are talking about me or you? You are the one who always leave me alone Annika. You always left without telling me."

      He said as tears formed in his eyes. She looked at him with her half opened eyes and pulled him close. Then made some place for him near her on bed tapped her palm there. He sat there without saying anything. And as soon as he sat she got up a little and slept again keeping her head on his chest. Shivaay held her in his arms and started caressing her hairs.

A-"I know I left you. But don't you know the reason?"

      She asked in heavy voice and he looked at her. Her eyes were half open.

S-"Reason??"

A-"You were in mandap with another girl and was doing wedding rituals with her."

S-"Soo what??"

      He asked and she looked at him with half open eyes.

A-"So what?? You don't know what that means? Tell me what if in your place I was there with another man and....."

S-"Annika....."

      Before she continues he shouted.

A-"What happened Shivaay? I just said that. N you..... You were doing that in reality. Tell me what you have done when you were at my place?"

      She said looking at him. She was still in that bhaang effect. He looked at her and said without thinking,

S-"I would have sent that guy to the hospital. And you..... I would have asked you what's wrong, why you are doing this, you don't love me or what...... I would have asked you Annika...but you....what you did? You just went away."

      Shivaay said and looked at her and then he wiped her tears as she was crying now.

S-"You was present there right, so why didn't you come n stop me, why didn't you slap me, why didn't you question me haa?"

      He asked and his eyes too filled with tears now. She just blinked her eyes and again kept her head on his chest.

S-"Why you are silent now? Tell me why you didn't do any of them."

A-"Because.....because you...you all were looking happy and were clicking pictures with her."

S-"Seriously Annika... I was clicking pictures so I was happy? Really? You forgot what I told you that morning... I told you na, 'Jabtak Shivaay Singh Oberoi jinda hai, uska dil sirf aur sirf Annika ke liye dhadkega'. I told you or not haa?"

      He asked and made her look at him.

A-"I... I knew that you meant it. But...but you were doing all that for family right? And for you family always comes first so....."

      She said with so much difficulty as already she was feeling drowsy and now she was crying too.

S-"Soo?? You are not part of that family? You don't consider yourself as an member of Oberoi family or what?"

      Shivaay shouted and she didn't say anything.

S-"You know what, I think I am not successful till now to make you believe that I love you, I care for you, you are most important part of my family and you mean world to me. I failed to make you believe that."

      Shivaay said and tears rolled down on his cheeks. She opened her eyes fully with so much difficulty and then wiped his tears.

A-"I know all you did that day was for me, only for me and not for family."

      Annika said looking into his eyes and he was surprised.

S-"You knew? How?? N still you left Annika? How could you?"

      He said still crying.

A-"What do you think how I knew all this haa? I came to know this few days ago only. And I left you because of you. We are here today in this condition because of you. Only you."

S-"How?"

A-"Why you didn't tell me about Roop bua before. Why you hide it from me? If you would have told me then today we.... hum saath hote Shivaay."

      She said and he hugged her.

S-"We are together Annika. For now and for forever."

A-"Why you didn't tell me Shivaay? You always did this. You loves to hide everything from me from starting only. You never told me if there is any problem or if there is something which is related to both of us. Don't you trust me?"

S-"Trust?? From where it came Annika? I trust you more than I trust myself Annika."

A-"Then why you hide everything from me?"

S-"To protect you Annika. What do you think what you would have done after knowing about that sucide note n everything haa? I know you better Annika. You would have tried to harm yourself, you would have hate your dad and I don't want that. I don't want you to take any stupid step. Just think, what if you would have harm yourself then me, mera kya hota Annika?"

      He said and cried more. She hugged him tightly kissing on his chest.

A-"But see what happened after you hide that from me? We got separated from each other."

S-"That's because of that Roop bua."

A-"No Shivaay, that's not her fault totally."

S-"Right. It's your fault too. I asked you to don't believe on anyone, don't listen to any stupid thing untill I tell you that thing is true or not. I told you to trust only me not anyone else. And you promised me right? Still you broke your promise?"

      Shivaay said and Annika came out of his hold and looked at him.

A-"I know I did wrong Shivaay. Mein jaanti hu maine galti ki hai. Mujhe aapse ladna chahiye tha, baat krni chahiye thi but..... but mein chali gayi aapse durr. But what about you haa? You said you wanted to protect me, you wanted to save me. But just think about it, I went outside of that venue after seeing you with that another girl. I was so lifeless. I was just walking on the road what if something....."

      Before she continues he kept his palm on her mouth.

S-"Don't you dare to say that again Annika. How could you think like that haa?"

      She removed his hand from her mouth.

A-"Then what's the use of your all tries to protect me haa? If something would have happened that day with me when Veer took me with him then? What's the use of your hiding that truth from me haa?"

      Annika said rather shouted and he looked at her. He didn't think like this. Indeed she was right about it. What if Veer did something with her then...or what if Roop bua tried to kill her. Yeah he hide to protect her from every bad thing. But he didn't think about all these possibilities that time.

      Some time passed, he was still thinking about it. And she was looking at him with half open eyes. She was having major headache now, first because of that mithai and now because of crying. She cupped his face and looked into his eyes. He did the same.

A-"Say something."

      She said caressing his cheek. Shivaay held her hand and kissed on it.

S-"I am sorry"

A-"It's not your fault totally Shivaay. It's my fault too. We both are responsible for our this condition."

      Annika said and he just looked at her. He caressed her hairs and kissed her forehead lovingly.

S-"But you left me thinking that I don't love you right? You thought I don't want you back?"

      Shivaay asked and she looked down.

A-"I saw you with that girl in auction and you both were looking....."

S-"Stop right there..... I said right, hai na? You don't trust me hai na Annika? When I told you I loves you and only you then how can you think something like that?"

A-"So kya krti mein haa? I left you right? Then after 15...total 15 days I saw you that too again with that girl. You know 15 days, if you loves me, where were you in those 15 days haa? Then I should think about it in that way only na?"

S-"Really? You think I didn't know about your whereabouts? I knew all the things Annika. But I was not able to come as I....."

      Before he completes she hugged him.

A-"I know. You don't have to say about it Shivaay."

      Shivaay looked at her surprise.

S-"About.....about what?"

A-"About you being angry on me. About you being hurt because of me and about ma....."

      She said but stopped in middle as she yawned.

S-"So you knew that, still you were behaving like this with me?"

A-"I told you before only. I got to know about the truth few days ago. I didn't know anything before that. It's you who were scolding me, hurting me, insulting me, forced me when I came here. So what can I conclude from that haa?"

      She said and then closed her eyes keeping her head on his chest. She was out of energy now and all she wants to sleep in his arms.

S-"You knew na I was hurt and I wanted you to feel my wounds, I wanted you to experience them, I wanted you to heal them with your love again and this time I wanted you to do all those things by your own. So I did this."

      Shivaay said tightening his hold on her. He stopped for sometime just caressing her hairs and then after some seconds said,

S-"Annika....."

A-"Hmm...."

S-"Now you knew na why I did that and what I want?"

A-"Hmm....."

S-"Then tell me what do you want? You want to be with me like before? You want me as much as I want you? You want to give me one chance? You want to give one chance to this beautiful relationship of ours?"

      Shivaay asked and she opened her eyes with so much difficulty and then looked at him still in his arms.

S-"Why you are looking at me like this?"

A-"I...was...right..you...are... Stupid...Singh...Oberoi..."

      She said each word with so much difficulty and then again closed her eyes not before keeping her head on his chest. Shivaay was confused.

S-"Annika tell me na?"

A-"You....still.... didn't.... get.... it...."

      She asked without opening her eyes.

S-"No. Tell me na Annika. Please"

A-"Think....about....my.... behavior....after that day....from the day...I gave... you... those flowers and...that note...and...see...that...note...na..."

      She said with so much difficulty.

S-"Annika you are too stubborn, say it na. Please for me. For your Shivaay, for your bagadbilla."

      Shivaay pleaded but she didn't say anything. Shivaay asked her again but didn't get any answer from Annika. He made her look at him,

S-"Annika say....."

      He stopped in between as he saw she was sleeping.

S-"Annika...Annika"

      He tapped on her cheeks but she didn't move a bit. Shivaay smiled sadly and again pulled her in his embrace. Kissing her hairs he started thinking about all her words. He remembered something and put his hand in his pocket and pulled out that note which she gave him with those flowers and opened it.

      Shivaay read those lines for many times and then looked at her face remembering all the things she did after that. Tears started rolling down on his cheeks and he cupped her face and kissed everywhere on her face with tears in his eyes.

S-"You are right. I am Stupid Singh Oberoi only."

      He said and smiling through his tears and then engulfed her in a tight hug.

S-"I will make everything fine Annika. I will do all things as per your wish now, and then you will not have any complaint about me...not a single one. I promise we will be together soon but not before solving all the problems and all your complaints about me."

      Shivaay said and then wiping his tears he kissed on her forehead lovingly and again took her in his arms.

S-"Mein sab thik kr dunga Annika."

      He said and closed his eyes not before,

S-"I love you Annika. I love you so much"
