The cooked potato smell wafted in the air as Taehyung sat in his favorite restaurant in Seoul; Su-Ryun Jip. It wasn't a fancy one at all, actually, it was a small, hidden cozy restaurant that nostalgically reminded him of home.

He kept on smelling the delicious fainted smells from inside the kitchen while waiting for his order, lost in his own thought, until a new strange customer entered and stood at the cashier.

From afar, he studied her figure, noticing how tall she seemed for a Korean. He could only see her back as she ordered something and he realized his order was ready. He stood and went towards the cashier too where his tray of kimchi jjigae awaited.

"Oh, really?? I didn't know you served potato gratin here. That's amazing," the girl said slowly, as Taehyung noticed how strangely her Rs seemed. She definitely wasn't a Korean. Her accent showed it.

She suddenly glanced at Taehyung then. And he was captured by her dark yet luminous eyes. "Oh, can you please hold this for me?" She handed him a red notebook as she rummaged through her bag looking for her wallet. After she found it and took out the money she handed it to the cashier and took her order that was, for her luck, already made. The guy put it in a bag for take-away and handed it to her as she thanked him, slightly bowing and walking out of the restaurant.

Taehyung stood there for a good minute as he was trying to comprehend what just happened, the girl's smile was the only thing he could remember.

But then it hit him as he looked down at his hands; she forgot her notebook with him. He was slightly bothered by this; what if it was important for her? How could he find her?

He dashed towards the exit and got out, looking everywhere for that girl. But she was gone as the cars drove by.

"Hmmm, ramen, sweet ramen. Even though this is the millionth time I eat you I still can't get bored of you, baby," Ha-Eun spoke softly to her bowl filled with aromatic ramen. She was about to attack it as her stomach grumbled when she suddenly heard the noise of her neighbor.

"Merde!! You stupid heavy bag!!" She heard her neighbor's broken Korean with a word she forgot what it meant exactly. But she knew it wasn't a good word.

Wait a second.

Ha-Eun didn't have any neighbors.

She got up and went to the door, hesitantly debating the thought of going out and see who it was.

She finally took the courage and opened the door to find a girl struggling with her luggage in front of the opposite apartment.

The girl's head shot up once she heard the other door open. Her eyebrows rose as she met Ha-Eun's wondering gaze.

Okay, Ha-Eun, remember what doctor Kim said. Be social and interact with humans. Don't push them away and try to be kind. That was another path she had to take to get treated.

"Uhm, having any problem?"

The girl stood straight and Ha-Eun immediately felt the difference in height. She felt too short compared to her. This girl seemed foreign. But she understood what Ha-Eun had said, answering, "well, I'm just having a little problem with these bags. I just moved in here. You live here?"

For some reason, she liked the new girl's strange accent. It felt unique.

She looked at Ha-Eun with her brown eyes as she got the answer, "Well, yeah. You're.. not from here, are you?"

She shook her dark-haired head, "no, actually I came here to study in University to become an architect. But I've been studying Korean for about two years now."

"Uhuh, Êtes-vous Français?"

The girl's eyes widened. "How did you know??"

Ha-Eun laughed, "you said shit in French. And I used to study it years ago but I stopped. So, mine isn't that good."

‏The French girl smiled, happy that she could at least hear her native language in a strange county like that.

"What's your name, by the way?"

"I'm Ha-Eun. You?"

The girl nodded, her cute smile never fading, "Dilara."

"Cool name," Ha-Eun said before walking towards the bags, already carrying them before she said, "here, let me help you."

"Oh, thanks." She carried the rest of the bags as Ha-Eun took the apartment card from Dilara and showed her how to open the door.

She walked into the empty apartment and left the bags there as Dilara did the same. She then thanked her, bowing as Ha-Eun couldn't help but smile at her cuteness. This girl, she already liked her, and that rarely happened, for Ha-Eun to not hate any human.

She bid her goodbye before walking back into her own apartment. Sitting back on her chair, she stared at the now cold bowl of ramen as she pouted, "what a waste."
