The Plan
So I think the plan has come to me...maybe..

Kingsley sighed and took a moment. "If you retract your previous statement that you and Hermione refusing to allow the blood tests, then the riots will stop and I will be able to speak to the Governors about the blood status testings."
Severus raised an eyebrow. "What good is it to talk to them? They've already decided on the testings. What will you say to them that they will change their minds?" He'd really like to know why Kingsley thought that him simply talking to the Board and every department involved in this situation would work.
"By giving them an ultimatum. If they do not get rid of the blood testings before it even starts, that you will send your child to another school instead of Hogwarts." Kingsley smirked. "They seriously want your child to attend this school. Since the original article has come out a few days ago, they have been preparing nonstop for when this child turns 11. So, if you threaten to send them to another school, it might persuade them to rethink their choices."
Severus had to admit, him explaining it further, it might work. The brightest wizard and witch of their generations offspring going to a school not Hogwarts. It was almost blasphemy. Severus shook his head, leaning his head onto his hand, thoughtfully. "If I do retract the statement, and this plan falls through. I will be retelling Rita to post a new article stating the truth that we will go to a different school when this child becomes of age."
Kingley nodded. "Yes, I fully approve of that. We can even tell her to have an extra article ready.
A few moments later, the flireplace shone green and out popped Rita Skeeter. She smirked at Kingsley and Severus and pulled out her quick quotes quill. "Minister, Headmaster," she greeted tensely.
"Miss Skeeter, I would like you to write two articles. One as a backup in case the first article is a failure to stop the riots at the Ministry," Kingsley stated.
Rita listened carefully, not daring to try to pull a fast one over on the Minister of Magic. Or Severus for that matter. He made sure that she knew he didn't mind going back to his darker roots for a moment by staring hard at her with his arms folded neatly across his chest. His head was tilted forward slightly as he stared at her listening to Kingsely.
"The article you will post first will be a retraction of Severus and Hermione's choice to refuse the blood status testings. The second one will be a backup in case the riots will not cease and the blood testings are not revoked. It will state that Severus and Hermione's child will attend another school other than Hogwarts. Do NOT post the second one unless I tell you," Kingsley stated, pointing to her strictly.
"Yes, Minister," she dipped her head. "Anything you would like to add, Severus?" She turned to him. He looked to Kingsley who shrugged.
"No."
She dipped her head and left abruptly. KIngsley sighed, watching her go. "We wait now," he stated.
Severus got out a piece of parchment and his quill. "She won't make it for the evening paper, so it will be tomorrow morning. I'll send Bonks with a letter stating what is going on and she can come back to talk about it if she wants."
Ten minutes later, Bonks popped in and out with the letter. In the letter he said if she wanted, to come back to the house to talk. Bonks was to come back with a response letter. It was around an hour later before he popped back with a response.
Severus,
I hope Kingsley is right in this plan. I don't want my child to be sent to another school in another country, but I won't have him blood tested. I will be at the house to speak about this further tomorrow at lunch.
Love Hermione
He sincerely hoped that Kingsley was right also. His son needed to be close by so he could come to the rescue in case he was bullied. He refused to let his son be like him and be bullied for his entire school career, or feel obligated to be friends with two dunderheads simply because they're the ones that caused her to cry and then saved her life.
The next morning, Severus prepared for lunch all day. The letters were finally done and being sent out to the sixth years. He had to eventually hire a new potions master and possibly a new transfiguration teacher. Minerva has stated briefly that she wants to train a new transfiguration teacher herself and retire to Hogsmeade.
He'd have to bring her in on the interviews with potentials when they finally come in. He hadn't even wrote the add for the prophet yet. He wanted her to have some time to think if this is what she really wanted, to retire. She loved kids and teaching them, so the decision to retire shocked Severus. He was one of her students after all. He'd been one of many of the teachers students, so when they all do decide to retire it will throw him off balance to say the least.
He was about to head out of the office to the house in Hogsmeade when Bonks popped in loudly, frantic. "Master! Miss is in pain at the house! She called Bonks crying and shouting for Bonks to come get you!"
Severus' eyes got wider with each word Bonks said. He quickly apparated to the house and ran inside. "Hermione!" He called as he burst through the door. He could hear her screaming in the kitchen. Running to her, she was bent over the table with a plate of food shattered across the floor. "Lean into me," he told her as he scooped her up and went over to the fireplace. He had the fireplace reconnected with the floo network just last week as a backup in case he needed to quickly get somewhere for Hermione.
He threw a small amount of floo powder in as he leaned Hermione on her feet for a second before scooping her back up and shouting, "St. Mungo's!"
