Terrible Teacher
Hello again. I'm back at this story.

Severus paced the hallway in attempt to keep himself calm. The woman closed the door to the potions room with a huff and crossed her arms. Severus glared at her as she leaned against the wall looking all too calm about the situation. Severus wanted to curse her all the way back wherever she came from.
"Now, Professor," he said with a hiss, "I was told by Miss Granger that you were passing every single student that she already graded." It was a simple statement.
She shrugged nonchalant. Severus shook his head as he walked farther away to keep himself calm. The utter arrogance from this woman was astounding. "You do NOT shrug at me. You have been here for only two months, while Miss Granger has been a student teacher here for the entire year. Furthermore, she knows how I grade my students. They learn better by being told the things they did wrong and correcting them. If you just pass them without telling them the mistakes, not only will they not learn, they could make a very dangerous mistake in their practical potions exam."
"I told them what they did wrong, but I still gave them all E if they corrected the mistakes and turned the paper back in," she said finally.
Severus couldn't wrap his head around that. The woman told the students what they did wrong but still passed them and allowed them to return in the paper. Narrowing his eyes at the woman, he stated, "That is not preparing them for the real world, though."
Many workplaces will fire the employee that tries to return their work with corrections after it was already due. The woman shrugged her shoulders as if that thought didn't bother her. Severus growled at the woman. "Well, I'm back and will be resuming my post as Potions Professor. You may return from wherever you came from."
That made the lady angry. "You're firing me?" She asked. Severus nodded. "Why?"
"Unethically passing students and calling students names," he stated in a dark tone. The woman laughed dryly and opened the door to the potions room.
Severus cocked an eyebrow as he followed her. He stayed in the back of the room where the students wouldn't see him. He wanted to make sure she was leaving. She went into the office behind the classroom and slammed the door. Several students started muttering about as Hermione's back was turned. Severus was about to raise his voice when Hermione turned on her heels.
She gave an angry look to the students who shut up and went back to their potions. Severus was very proud of her as she turned back to the board and started writing a new potion for the next class. Several minutes went by before the substitute came back out with a bag and her coat. She held her head high as she walked out the door passed Severus.
He followed her at a distance to assure himself that she wouldn't come back onto the grounds again. When he saw that she had went into Hogsmeade he nodded to himself and returned to his office where Albus greeted him warmly. "Albus, we have to talk about that prophecy."
Albus chuckled. "You waste no time, Severus," Albus commented as Severus took out the paper from his pocket.
"When the Lioness shall lay down with the Snake, the Age of Purity will be over," Severus read aloud.
"Hmm," Albus thought, "you said it came as a random letter that wasn't signed?"
Severus nodded. "You heard Hermione state there is a new thing about blood purity going around."
"It could have something to do with that. Only time can tell with prophecies, though," Albus shrugged. "It is good to have you back, though, Severus," he added warmly.
"It honestly is good to be back," Severus stated. "I brewed a lot of potions for my little side potion business, but have sent owls to them stating I've been reinstated as Headmaster, so potions will be back ordered for a week at least to get things in order again."
Albus nodded in approval from his painting. "Well done, Severus."
In the following week, the June twins were nearing expulsion unless someone stepped up to get them to behave better. Severus was going to have to meet with them to get their side of things soon. Hermione was doing much better with the students since the substitute was fired. The classes had returned to the normal high standard.
Even the students seemed to be happy that the substitute teacher was gone. She seemed to make more mistakes than than they did. Severus was glad that they appreciated his teachings now that there was a worse teacher than him.
It seemed as if the entire school was happy that Severus was back. Minerva certainly was. She announced his return at dinner the first night and the entire Great Hall erupted into applause. He had no idea that he was this liked as a Headmaster this year.
"Headmaster?"
Severus raised his head to see two identical young girls with dark brown hair peek their heads in. The June twins. He motioned for them to come inside further. The looked at each other very wearily, but did as they were told. When they were mere feet from his desk he sat back and looked at them. They were both in Ravenclaw, but honestly should have been in Slytherin.
"Listen girls, I'm all for joking around and having fun," both girls looked at him and then each other shocked, "Yes, I know its an utter shock. However, there's got to be a cut off point. What happened while I was gone?"
Hilda shrugged, embarrassed. "We were trying to get rid of that stupid Potions substitute. She was a terrible teacher. We tried to tell her that Miss Granger was a better teacher, but she laughed in our faces, then she dismissed Miss Granger while she was in the middle of teaching one day," Hilary explained.
Severus raised his eyebrows in shock. Hermione never told him that. She was dismissed as a student teacher? That might be good for the program to see how the students reacted to a different person teaching them a while different technique. However, he was very glad that he fired her.
"I understand, however, you are very close to expulsion. I have never heard of anyone getting expelled from Hogwarts before and I do not want you two young ladies to be the first." Severus looked at the girls in turn. They hung their heads in shame. "I would appreciate it if you two would go apologize to Mr. Filtch who had to clean up all your messes since the start of the year." Hilda looked appalled at the Headmaster. "I know how it sounds, however, it's the adult thing to do, and it will give me an idea that you two do not want to be expelled. Think of it as the ultimate punishment."
Hilda sighed in defeat while Hilary groaned. "Now?" They asked.
Severus nodded. "Yes, he should be in his office."
