(A/N: I realised that my headcanons may be confusing unless I let you guys know this. I ship Derpee mostly in the context that they're sentient minecraft characters. This is why in my DerpCrundee book, Derp is able to spectate Crainer and Ian recording the SkyFactory series, and the main bulk of the story takes place when their creators are offline. Therefore, when human Ian records his videos, SSundee and Derp are being controlled/manipulated against their will by him, unbeknownst to him, of course. However, when he closes the game, they continue to lead their independent lives, and can communicate with other minecraft characters, such as Thea and Crainer, and even Sky. Basically, whomever they've 'met' through their creators recording videos, they can then continue to communicate and befriend them further when their creators are offline. I hope that makes sense. Basically, it's like a parallel universe to ours, that we can interact with, but they can't interact with ours. Anyways. * Derp is scarily good at the Murder Mini Game, and when the gang plays it offline, it doesn't matter how far away they run, he always seems to track them down. However, SSundee often gets spared for obvious reasons, which Crainer calls 'favouritism'. This does not often end well for Crainer.

* Derp suffers from Generalised Anxiety Disorder and PTSD from a traumatic childhood, often leading him to get upset when Ian is away from him for prolonged amounts of time.

* Ian once had to recreate the shopping centre meme, when he and Crainer realised they'd lost Derp in the crowds. It went something like this:
SSundee: We lost Derp! Wait, I know! DERP, THE CAKE IS A LIE-
Crainer: *gets taken out by an enraged Derp appearing out of nowhere and leaping at them*
Derp: THE CAKE IS NOT A LIE
SSundee: Found 'im!

* Derp wants to adopt a wolf one day, and as Ian likes dogs, they'd breed them together and raise a family of wolfdog pups

* Derp's eyes aren't actually 'crooked' as such, he actually has one lazy eye, his right one, or left if you were looking at him, which appears to have a life of its own, whereas his other one actually works like a normal eye...most of the time.

* Ian had to help Derp get a Minecraftian passport when they first met, because Derp's family had never bothered getting him one. It involved lots of passport photo failures, mostly of Derp blinking every time it took a photo of him, which infuriated Ian. However, Derp keeps a few in his wallet of him and Ian together, because that was their first time really bonding as friends, and they both look so young in the photos. They gave up in the end and resorted to making faces at the camera instead too, which always makes Derp laugh to look at when he's feeling depressed.

* Because of the photo booth incident, they always go into one on their anniversary of getting together and take a few, which they keep in two scrapbooks, one physical and one digitally, in case one was to get lost, they'd still have another.

* After recordings, Ian and Derp will often relax in their home (that they built together) and each have a bowl of ice cream whilst watching something on TV. This has been a ritual for years now, and they have tried hundreds of ice cream flavours in its time; Derp's favourite is cookie dough, and Ian's is toffee.

* Once, they kept all the empty ice cream tubs and when Crainer and Thea came over, they made a giant fort out of them. Maddie came looking for them all two days later and found them all still using it as a secret hide out.

* Sometimes when Derp is depressed, he'll just chuck a soft blanket over himself and sit alone in the darkness of it. Ian often finds him like this and crawls underneath it with him. They sit together underneath, and often watch funny videos on Ian's phone to cheer Derp up.

* When Ian is being used to record videos, Derp will either spectate, or go back to their house. He hates the silence of it when it's just him in it, so he'll put on some loud music to dance to whilst he's doing other things. Often baking or cleaning the house. Ian has come back home many times to find Derp mid-musical performance, sometimes holding a spatula or spoon as a microphone. At the present time, his current musical obsession is The Greatest Showman soundtrack, and a few times he has been caught in the act of standing atop the table counter with his arms outstretched, yelling the lines to The Greatest Show, or Come Alive.

* Sometimes Ian joins in.

* Derp's favourite place to be is either in Ian's arms or in a tree. If Derp can't be found, Ian usually finds the nearest tall, climbable tree, and 9 times out of 10 he'll either be hanging upside down on a bough by the legs, reading, or lying on one and sleeping. Ian learnt the hard way not to wake him up suddenly when he's like this, because the only time he did it resulted in a concussed Derp, leaving him even more derpy than usual for three days.

* Derp is a flirty drunk, whilst Ian is an affectionate one. Crainer has many videos on his phone of Derp trying to flirt with random people and failing epically, and of Ian clinging to random objects or people, at house parties. His favourite ones is Derp trying to flirt with Thea and faceplanting the bar he was leaning unsteadily on in the process, and Ian just refusing to let go of the arm of the sofa and crying because it 'had lost its pillow friends and would be lonely if he left it'.

* Derp loves Ian more than anything, and Ian loves Derp more than anything. They are the world to each other, and if anything ever happened to one of them, the other would have to follow suite, or life wouldn't be worth living. However, luckily for them, in the Minecraft world, life expectancies tend to be longer, due to healing potions and such. The only danger would be Derp getting eaten by a dragon, which is more probable than you'd probably think, but Ian makes sure that his lover doesn't do anything stupid, and therefore, it's all good.
