Everyone was getting ready for bed. Camilla walked into her shared room with Via and closed the door. Camilla looked at her cabin buddy, still speechless. She walked up and down the room, a perplexed look on her face.

She stopped abruptly and turned to face Via. "You... you and Kristina?"

Via looked down for a few seconds before looking back up at her and nodding.

"How long?", asked Camilla.

"We aren't dating. If you mean, how long have I liked her then, a few years", admitted Via.

Camilla looked like someone had shoved several lemons down her throat. "Does this happen often? Do you regularly meet up in Miss Mae's Office for... sessions?"

Via couldn't help but giggle at this. "Sessions? Camilla come on, it's me you're talking to, you don't have to put on a 'strict parent' act."

Camilla sighed, sitting down on the bed, next to Via. "I just... I can't believe I didn't know. I'm your cabin buddy! I'm the worst friend in the world."

Via shook her head. "No, no you aren't! I don't know half of the things you and Gavin get up to!"

Camilla blushed at this. "Yeah well, if something more happened between us I would obviously tell you. Why didn't you tell me?"

Via shrugged. "I don't know. It kind of just... happened."

After seeing Camilla's face, Via spoke again.  "We didn't, you know, do it", she added quickly. "It didn't go that far."

Camilla nodded. "If I hadn't walked in, would it have gone that far?"

After a few seconds, Via shook her head. "No, I don't think so. I'm not really ready for all that."

Camilla nodded. "Same here."

Via could talk to Camilla about anything. "Do you think Gavin will be your first?"

Camilla shrugged. "I don't know. I-I hope so."

Via nodded, a small smile on her face.

"What about you? Will Kristina be your first?", asked Camilla.

"Honestly? No. I really don't think so", replied Via.

Camilla let out a little gasp, clearly shocked. "Why not?"

Via sighed before looking at Camilla for a few seconds. Via didn't break eye contact which showed Camilla she was serious. "I feel like she'll get bored of me. I mean, I'm not really anything special."

Camilla frowned, shaking her head. "Don't say that!", she exclaimed.

"I didn't even think you liked Kristina", said Via, changing the subject.

"Our fight was a long time ago. I mean, I'd like an apology but I've grown up a bit since then, I think we all have. What happened between us in the past doesn't seem to matter much to me now. Wow, being with Gavin is changing me!"

Via let out a small laugh. "I don't think it's Gavin that's changing you. You're just seeing things differently. I guess it's a part of growing up."

"That's scary. Growing up", said Camilla.

Via nodded, agreeing. "Yeah, it is", she said before looking at Camilla. She smiled at her. "But we'll get through it." Via held out her hand. "Cabin buddies?"

Camilla smiled but didn't take her hand. Instead, she looped her arm with Via's. "Cabin buddies."
