Pansy's pov
I wonder if I should tell Hermione or Ginny about me liking Ron. I just don't know if he likes me as more than a friend. Sure he smiles at me but that's after I smile at him. Does he smile to return my smile or to generally smile at me. Ugg this is complicated. Well he did give me a nickname, but friends do that too. I don't know what to do. I don't know the signs of a guy liking you. I'm clueless. I think I should just ask Ginny. Besides I'm already walking with her but I'll ask her later when the boys are not around.

"Hi Ginny how are you?" I ask making small talk." I'm good. You seem nice I'm glad we can clear our differences and be friends." Ginny replied. " I'm glad too. I want to ask you and hermione something but later so the boys won't hear. Meet me by the black lake in an hour and bring Hermione and Luna. Don't tell the guys, I want it to be girl talk." I say to her. "Sure no problem" she replies. We arrive at the castle and go our separate ways.

One hour later......
Ginny's pov
On the way back to the castle Pansy asked to talk to me, 'Mione and Luna by the black lake in an hour. I don't know what it's about but I don't mind helping out a new friend. I wouldn't think we would be friends but Ron became her friend and wanted our other friends to be friends with her too. So here we are. I get 'Mione from the library and Luna at her common room then head to the lake. I see her sitting by the lake and her back to the tree. I walk to where she was and sat next to her. The other girls sat down too.

"Hey" she says as we sit down. We all say hi back. "So what is it you wanted to talk about?" Mione asked. "Boys" she answered. We all giggle. "What would you like to know?" Luna asks sweetly. "How to tell if the guy you like, likes you too." Pansy responded. "Who do you like?" Mione asked her.

Pansy's pov
"Who do you like?" Hermione asked me. Oh boy, I have to tell them. What will their reactions be. I sigh. "Ron" I respond nervously. I look around their surprised but happy. "Aww, you like him" Hermione says after a few seconds of quiet. I breath in relief. They seem ok with it.

"Ok now we have to find out if he likes you too." Ginny said. I hope he likes me. He makes me happy. Whether it be his cute smile or the way he jokes around with his friends. Or his sweet and caring personality. I just hope he feels the same way.

"Do you guys like anyone?" I ask. " I think I like Draco" Hermione replies. "Aww you two will be great together" I reply. "We're not even together, I don't even know if he likes me too." Hermione says. " your not together,YET" I say with emphasis on the yet. We laugh and talk some more then head to bed.

Draco's pov
I never thought I would become friends with Potter and Weasley and girl Weasley as well as Lovegood. They are decent people who I wouldn't mind becoming close with. Besides they are now friends with my two best friends Pansy and Blaise.

My thoughts shift to Hermione. She's beautiful, and I want to make her my girlfriend someday. I just don't know if she feels the same way. I want to try and win her over. I'm going to ask McGonagall if we can have a dance. That way I can sweep her off her feet.

I wish I could have danced with her at the Yule ball. I started to fall for her when she walked down the staircase gracefully and delicate. Her hair was curly and she had on a beautiful purple dress. Then Krum shows up and I realized I lost my chance to dance with her back then. But if this ball happens I will sweep her of her feet, the way I wish I could have all those years back.

I was lost in my thoughts and I didn't hear her come in. Then she put a hand on my shoulder and I got startled. I turn around I see her, smiling at me. I love her smile. "Goodnight Draco. If you have another nightmare, don't hesitate to come and wake me up. I'm here for you whenever you need me." She said as she went to her room. "Thank you Hermione. Thanks for being there for me. Yes I will come if I need you. Goodnight beautiful." I said and smiles at her before going to bed. I can't believe I had the guts to call her beautiful! Twice! I get into bed and fall asleep, thinking of her.
