Christmas was approaching quick an everyone was going strong. They were happy and in love and best friends with everyone in their group. They would hang out by the black lake or on Hogsmeade trips they would go in the three broomsticks with George and Lee. It was a nice group of friends. One night Hermione had her head on Draco's lap and he was stroking her hair. Then a tap was on the window and Hermione got up and let the owl in. It was a beautiful brown owl. She opened the window and flew right to Draco, who untied the letter from its leg. She gave the bird a treat and it flew away into the night.

Draco's pov:
I open the letter and see it's from my mom.

My dearest son Draco,
Thing have been lonely without you and your father. I hope you will come visit this Christmas. I miss you so much. How's your friends, and your girlfriend. If so I would love to meet her. Maybe you can ask her to stay with us if it's ok with her family. I would love to meet her.

After I finish the letter I go tell Hermione. I hope my mom approves of my girlfriend. I've been worried to tell her who she is, but now she wants to meet her so I'm going to invite her.

"Hey sweetie, my mom wants to meet you and she invited you to stay at the manor with me and her for the holidays. I would love for you to come but only if you want to love." I said, sitting next to her and putting my arm around her. She laid her head on me and she fit perfectly , like it was right.

Hermione's pov:
Im nervous about meeting his mom but I agree. Maybe she's changed like Draco. Hope so. I sigh and agree to meet her.

"Sure, I would love to see where you grew up and meet your mother. Does she know what I am?" I ask remembering his dad. " she doesn't know and she doesn't care. Never cared about that stuff. She just wants me to be happy." Draco reassured me.

I sigh a breath of relief. I still hopes she likes me, and I also hope she is nice. I'm sure she is. I continue to think while relaxing into Draco's arms. I feel safe. I feel home. Home. I miss my parents. I hope their safe. I sigh and smile at him. He smiles at me and gives me a quick kiss. I'm so lucky he's mine now. Did I mention I liked him for a while? Well I do. I'm so happy we're together and have been together for a few months. I'm nervous about going back to his house (tortureing) I know everyone bad is locked away but I just can't help to worry. I am only going to stay the holidays. Can't be that bad.

Christmas break-
Christmas break is finally here. I meet everyone at the train and we ride to King cross station. We talk about the holidays and the Christmas Day banquet at Draco's house, which our gang is invited to. I think it will be fun. A night of our friends and gifts. Speaking of, I got him a locket with a picture of us in it. I hope he likes it. I'm Nervous about meeting his mom.

I step off the train and se a woman with blonde and black hair. I'm guessing this is his mom, because hey have the same shade of blond. We walk up to her and I see Draco give her a hug. "Hello mummy, I missed you, how have you been holding up?' Draco asked her. "I'm ok, considering. I missed you too son. This must be your beautiful girlfriend" she said turning to me. "Hi Mrs Malfoy, it is a pleasure to meet you. " I say offering my hand to shake it. she pulled me in for a hug instead. "Please, the pleasure is all mine. call me Narcissa or Cissa for short" she replied releasing me. His mother apperated with out bags. "Ready to go love?" He ask holding out his arm.

I take it and we apperate to his manor. It was huge and beautiful. We walk inside and it was warm and welcoming, unlike my last time here. "Mum did some redecorating. The cold atmosphere made her depressed so she decided to change it up a bit. Making it more lively." Draco explained as he led me in. We went upstairs and into the guest room where I would be sleeping while I was here.

I settled in and went downstairs to see Cissa preparing dinner with the free elves who stick around. I go and help her too.
After we eat we start decorating the house for the banquet.

We sing along to Christmas song while we all decorate. Draco is a great singer. And so is his Mum. Now I know who he got it from. We had a fun time. Later I played wizards chess with Draco while his mum watched, while she read the Daily Prophet. At dinner we decided to think of guests for the ball. He invited our gang, and invited the rest of the Weasley family. I just realized. I don't have a dress for the ball. I tell her and we decide to call up the gang to go shopping for outfits. So the next day we went shopping.
I bought a beautiful glitter dark blue dress that flows to my ankles with a dark blue heel. Ginny got a long gold dress with gold heels, and Luna got a yellow dress with matching heels and Pansy got a silver sparkly dress with silver heels. We payed and met the boys at the three broomsticks. 10 minutes later, the boys came in. A bag in everyone's hand. They each got a black suit and a simple tie, so they can change it to match our dress. After butter beer everyone went home. I put the dress in the guest room or my temporary room. Time went quick and it was finally Christmas Eve.  I spent all day baking with Cissa and preparing last minute decorations for the ball with Draco. After the long day we went to bed. I wake up to a heavy weight being placed on me. I look and see Draco jumping on me excited. "Good morning beautiful, Merry Christmas. Meet you downstairs Sweety." He gets off and heads downstairs. It's Christmas!!! I get changed and go downstairs. "Good morning Hermione, Merry Christmas" Cissa said happily. "Merry Christmas Cissa" I reply sitting down to eat. She hands me a gift. It was a beautiful fur scarf. It looked expensive. But then I remembered they have a lot of money. "Thank you it's beautiful" I said. Next was Draco's gift to me. I opened it and saw a beautiful silver infinity bracelet. On one loop it had Draco's name and a green diamond and on the other loop it had my name and a red diamond. "This bracelet symbolizes our love. If you love me, it will form a forever clasp. The only way it comes off is if either of us stops loving each other or one of us dies, that bracelet will forever remain. I know I will never stop loving you. I love you forever and always" Draco explained. Of course I love him. He puts it on and the bracelet encloses on my wrist and shimmers. "Draco I will never stop loving you. I love you to forever and always" I answer. He spins me and gives me a kiss. We release and smile. Cissa is there with a huge smile on her face. Cissa gives me a big hug. " now time for my gift to Draco." I said and pulled out the small box and give it to him. He opens it and smiles. I got him a big gold heart chain locket with a picture of us from the Paris ball inside and on the back it says : Hermione and Draco, Forever and Always. He loved it. He gave me a big hug and kiss. Cissa gave Draco a black leather jacket. And Draco gave Cissa a beautiful pair of black fuzzy slippers with green polka dots on it. After that we talk for a while. Then we realized it was getting late, so we went to get ready for the ball. I slip into my gown and walk gracefully down the stairs. At the foot of the stairs he was waiting for me in his suit. He looks so cute. "You look beautiful , my love" Draco said tailing my hand and kissing it. "As do you, my handsome prince"I said. He changes his tie to match me. He offers his arm and I accept it as we walk into the room. It would be starting soon. I walked around to meet Draco's uncle Alex on his mothers side and his grandfather Scott on his mothers side as well. A few minutes later guests start showing up and we meet up with the gang and the rest of the Weasleys. They seem to be having fun. We danced and talked and laughed and enjoyed ourselves. We sat down and took a break. Next a slow song came on. Draco's uncle Alex offered to dance with Cissa so she won't feel left out. Draco offered his hand and we go to the dance floor, the gang following suit.

After the song Draco kisses me, Blaise kissed Luna, Ron kissed Pansy and Harry kissed Ginny. After the song, Cissa was tearing up so Alex hugged her. It must be hard not having her husband here to kiss her, like I hear they do every year after this song. Just not having him around at all. He may have not been the greatest man but they loved each other. We walked back to sat down and we all hang out. Before you know it it was time to go home. They clean up and Draco kissed me again and we went to our rooms and went to bed. Not much happened after that. We just had a great time playing in the snow at his house and talking. On New Years we dared a kiss and fireworks flew. Literally and figuratively too. Now it was time to go back to school. "Goodbye Cissa, it as great getting to know you and hope to see you soon." I said and gave her a goodbye hug. She hugged me. And she hugged Draco bye. "Bye son, I'll miss you, write soon." She said. " I will mum, bye" Draco replied. We found a seat with our friends and left to go back to school. I enjoyed my Christmas at Malfoy Manor.
