Why do I keep deleting my chapters for no reason? 😭

Salem: So you're immortal....

Jed: Yeah.

They sat on the side of a cliff, watching the sky in the land of darkness as Jed held a baby grimm in his arms.

???: *yawn* Ahhhhhhh.....

Salem: We aren't so different really.......

Jed: But we aren't similar either.

Salem: How come?

Jed: Why would the gods grant your request? They never listened to you before. They're petty, spiteful.....they like playing around. They're most likely gonna make you live still......even if humanity has died.

Salem: And how do you know?

Jed: Had a similar experience..........their name.......was Ghatanothoa, the dark god.

Salem: Like the God of darkness?

Jed: Why would I talk about an insignificant being like him? No......a god that even he and his brother do not compare to.

Salem was alarmed, sensing the animosity in Jed's voice despite his depressed look.

Jed: I met many gods. Shub-Niggurath, Giygias, entities and beings who embody the concept of space and time, gods who will drive even the most powerful of entities who existed from the beginning of time.....yet none can kill me. It's like I'm a god, yet I'm still human.....doomed to wander forevermore while everyone dies..........

Salem: How old are you?

Jed: 28.............but........it's like I'm much older...........

Salem: Hello?

Jed: Just a thought. I do have a question though.

Salem: Go ahead.

Jed: Do you have any regrets? About everything that has happened?

Salem: My kids......I......wish I didn't......*sigh* Nevermind.

Jed: You lost your kids because it was your fault. I know how that feels......

Jed: Your emotions got the better of you however......if I didn't defy the gods of my world, my children would've lived......sometimes you can't be happy. But sometimes you could've made better decisions.....

Salem was deep in thought, having contemplated what Jed had told her as they spoke once more.
