Roman POV

Cinder is really starting to piss me off. First she comes in acting all high and mighty, then she takes over my whole operation after I said I was handling it. Not only that, but she took most of the dust I had! "Neo I need you to go get me something to drink. Today really hasn't been good to me." Neo just rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out. "Torchwick." I turned around to see that smoke had entered the warehouse "I've seen how that Cinder woman treats the both of you. How she shows the both of you no respect. Don't you wish to put her in her place?" I didn't know where this voice was coming from, but it sounded...calm. As if I could fall asleep when I hear it. "Neo, do you hear him too?" Neo nodded and started to look around "What about you Neo? Don't you wish take her down as well? Oh, how could I forget. You cannot speak."

I heard something knock on the wall and when I looked over I saw a man whose face was shadowed "But what if I told you that I could grant you the gift you lost? And what if I give you something beyond the uses of Dust?" Neo looked at me as if she were conflicted, but I wasn't buying it "You can seriously give Neo the ability to talk? Now that's impossible." The guy just chuckled and pulled out a mask, a stone mask. "During my travels I stumbled upon this mask. At first glance this may seem like nothing but a mere object, but it is far beyond that. This mask will cause you to go beyond your humanity!" Now I know this guy is nuts, but he chuckled as if he knew what I was thinking.

"I assure you that this true Roman. All I need is a drop of blood." I looked at Neo and pointed at the guy "You heard him. Give him your blood so we can get this over with." Neo's eye twitched and she hit me in the back of the head "Hey, watch it with your fist!" Neo rolled her eyes and walked toward the guy. He pulled out a knife and handed it to Neo "All I need is one drop for it to work." Neo took off her gloves and pricked her finger while the guy smirked. The mask sprouted up and had odd things coming out of it "I suggest you close your eyes for this part." Neo tilted her head and the guy shoved the mask in her face. The mask dug itself in her head and it began to shine "Neo!" I cried out.

The light stopped and she fell over. I ran over to check up on her "Neo, are you alright?!" She didn't seem to be breathing "You...What did you do?!" He kept smirking and snapped his fingers "Arise Neo! For you have been reborn!" that's when things got creepy. Neo's head turned and she stood up with the mask on her face "How do you feel?" She looked at her hands and did something I thought would be impossible. She talked. "I...feel...amazing." She grabbed her neck and I could hear her crying tears of joy "Your voice is of angels my dear." She walked over to the guy and began to hug him "Thank...you."

If my eyes could grow any bigger then they would have. This stupid mask actually actually worked! "There's is something you must know my dear. The stone mask has granted you amazing abilities, but at a cost. You can never go out in broad daylight, for if you do you will die from the sun rays."

Y/N POV

Neo took off her mask and started to cry more "I...don't...care...about...that. I'm just...happy that...I can speak...again." I held her chin up and said "Your speech has improved in mere moments. How incredible." I looked over at Roman and smirked once more "Still believe that this mask is a lie?"

Time Skip

While sitting down, shadowed, I crossed my arms as I saw Roman's old "boss", Cinder Fall. "And who are you? You don't seem like any huntsman I've ever met. You aren't one of Ozpin's pets, are you?" I chuckled and stood up with the shadows still covering my face "Oh no deary, you have me all wrong. You see, I'm in need of some entertainment." She put her hand on her hips "If you think I'm going to give you a lap dance then you're wrong." I smirked and snapped my fingers "And why would I ask for such a thing from a dead woman?" She raised an eyebrow before getting a ray (The stingy eye technique Dio used on Jonathan) to the neck "Cinder!" The dark skinned one yelled. She attempted to go for her weapons, but a hand pierced through her chest. The slivered haired boy just stood there in shock, knowing that he would die if he tried anything. "What...what is...this?!" With each word, blood came out of her neck and mouth "This? Oh this is revenge Cinder." Her eyes widened as Roman came out of the shadows with his eyes red and a sharp smirk. Neo ripped out the girls heart, dropped it, and began to lick the blood from her fingers.

"Roman...you... b-b-" Roman was already behind the poor girl "This is for torturing me!" Roman put his hand on Cinder's head and froze it solid, before smashing. I clapped my hands and said "Sugoi!" I looked at the silver head boy and crossed my legs "Now what shall we do with you?" I saw that he was shaking and that a little bit of urine was dripping onto the ground "Your composure is horrible boy. Neo, if you would be so kind..." She smirked and said "I'd be honored to!"

Time Skip - Salem POV

I replayed that scene and sighed in annoyance "Stupid brat. I should have just sent Watts to Vale instead." I then turned my attention to Leo "It looks like Cinder has failed to do what I asked. And since Cinder isn't here to be punished then I guess I should punish you."
