I begin towards End's aura. I sense the other entities with them. Well, they are basically a family now, so it makes sense. I arrive at where the auras are, a bookcase. I push the bookcase aside.

Someone pushes the bookcase aside. The sound echoes over the click clack of the ball as it bounces back and forward between Good and Evil. "Huh," Evil guesses, "guess I.T. decided to join us."

"I'll get it," End smiles, but the smile is, once again, fake. As they head up the staircase, I notice them grabbing Evil's massive hammer.

I head upstairs to make sure everything's OK...

"Listen jackass," I hear my sister's voice growl, "you stay away from my family, and you stay away from me. Is that clear?"

They exit the lab and see me. "Wait," they seem surprised, "you're not I.T."

"I'm their next project," I exclaim, "you're End, right?"

"Yeah," End replies, "what's your name?"

It's then I realize I don't have one. I decide to make something up.

"I'm Lifeless," I reply, "and I was made from the Tree of Life. Listen, I.T. is a dangerous asshole, we both know this, so let's erase them. It wouldn't be hard. Just one quick stab, and they're gone."

"Well," End replies, "I would,  but..."

"Listen End," I explain, "I know you hate I.T., but please, before you go on some quest to kill them, let them finish the device. I exit the lab, only to see a nature spirit possessing the Tree of Life."

"If you will not assist me," the nature spirit smirks, "then your life is worthless. Die."

Red vines stab End, killing them instantly. This spirit is just under my level, but I can still handle this.

"Hey!" I exclaim.

I absorb End's soul, something I learned when I read the last book, the only book I can read.

"Heh," I smirk, "yet another worthless life who fails to save this world from destruction."

I prepare to kill Null...
