Harry's POV

I can't believe it's been six months.

It's been six months since I proposed to Louis.

He was stunned, quite shocked even, and I don't blame him. I mean, I asked him out of the blue. He didn't see it coming at all, but to be completely honest, I didn't either.

I must admit though that I've been wanting to ask him since forever. I just hadn't planned it out, let alone think it through. But I don't regret it one little bit. I already realized months ago that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.

And that's enough for me to marry him, isn't it?

Louis is the best thing that has ever happened to me. We get along so extremely well and we're so much alike that it's a bit scary at times. He's like my mirror, my other half, and yet we're also very different from one another. But I must say it's something I like. He pushes and I pull, or the other way around. We finish each other and we keep each other whole. He knows me more than I do myself and he can read me like an open book. I can do the same with him, though, and I can't imagine a world without him.

Just as I feel myself drift off in more thoughts of Louis, I hear a voice yell my name.

I turn around.

It's my mum.

"Why aren't you in your suit yet?" She asks, already stressing. "There's not much time left, love! Go on! The other lads are in the dressing room as well,"

My mum tries to push me away from where I'm standing, but I don't move a muscle. This dining room is way too impressive to just walk out of.

I've never really looked at a room before. I mean, not with as much attention as I'm doing right now. But by really taking it in I realise how beautiful it looks.

It's filled with multiple small tables, all decorated. There are plates on them as well as glasses, candles, and napkins. I even discover there are small cards on each plate with mine and Louis' name on them.

The light smell of fresh bread is trapped between these four walls and small lights make the place look warm and safe.

I like it a lot, but it feels very surreal that all of this is for us.

I can see the garden through the window. That's the place where we'll wed and read each other our vows.

I can't yet imagine myself standing there.

There are about twenty small chairs outside. We didn't invite a lot of people to see us make the actual promise of sharing a life together because we want to keep it small and special. Though, we did invite quite the amount of guests for the party. Everyone's been telling me how great it'll be.

"Harry!" Mum says, bringing me back into the dining room again.

I don't know where I'm going with all these thoughts today.

I just can't believe Louis and I will be married in just a couple of hours.

We will be eating right here in this very room, as a family, in such a small amount of time.

It's all happening so fast.

"Harry!" my mom says again, louder this time. "Go, now!"

"Yeah," I laugh in response and let her push me away this time. "Wait," I then speak and turn back around. "Have you seen Louis?"

My mom stares up at me for a moment, her eyes small and deep on mine. Then she speaks. "No darling, I'm sorry. Maybe he's with his family,"

I only nod and finally head to the dressing room. I'll probably meet Louis in there later this day.

When I walk in, I see Niall pacing around the room. He's tugging at his hair in frustration.

I stare at him in confusion until he notices me.

"I just can't find my suit, okay?" he tells me, an annoyed look on his face.

I laugh quietly and hold my hands up in defense. Niall is probably the only person on this planet capable of losing his suit on a day like this.

I look around in a small attempt to help Niall find his suit, but I'm soon distracted by Liam who's getting dressed by Lou. She's our hairstylist and she's absolutely amazing. She has just finished buttoning up Liam's tuxedo, making him smile at himself in the mirror.

I nod at him, showing him I agree with the way he looks.

Lou walks over to Zayn not much later and starts helping him with his hair.

I'm happy with all of them here with me today. I wouldn't have been so excited without them here.

When I head towards a small closet to get my own suit, I hear a sudden cheer coming from Niall. He jumps up from the ground with his tux in hand.

"It was under the couch," he explains, his cheeks slightly pink in embarrassment. "What?" he asks then. "It wasn't me who put it there!"

I shake my head whilst laughing. I wonder how it did get there.

Niall puts it on and Liam helps him with his tie. Lou does the same to Zayn and once they're done, they all turn to me.

"Hey," I smile nervously.

"Let's get you ready, Mr. Tomlinson" Lou jokes with a wink and pulls me with her.

She helps me into my tux and fixes my hair. She gives me a small pep talk followed by a warm smile.

"Lux is so jealous you're marrying Louis instead of her," she laughs and I join her.

Lux is the cutest kid I've ever seen. I'm her idol and sometimes it feels as if she's my own child. I can imagine what she's feeling, but she'll always be my favourite girl.

"C'mon, let me take a picture of you!" Lou smiles.

She just can't help herself like usual and has to take a bunch of picture of all of us. I'm missing Louis in the photos, though. He should be here. He's missing out. I don't even understand what's taking him so long to get in here.

"Liam?" I ask before I take a seat next to him. "Where's Louis?"

"Oh, he called," Liam answers. "He's on his way,"

The sincerity and kindness in Liam's eyes is comforting. I can always just come to him and I'm really happy to have him as my friend.

I let out a deep breath and try to relax.

Liam slides closer to me on the couch. There's a reassuring smile on his face.

"Hey," he speaks as he lays his hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry, man"

"Do I really look that nervous?" I ask, horrified.

"Yea, mate!" Liam laughs. "But you'll be alright. This will be the best day of your life,"
